I am looking for people that are really into warriors to help with a future (like distant future) project that I may consider doing (even though I have failed before). I wish to make a Warrior Cats hosted project and I have learned where I failed in the past. Due to knowing my failures of the past, I am posting this way in advance to gain some assistance dedicated to being powerful rulers of this future that I have in store. These need to people that are pretty determined, not afraid to annoy me, and willing to sacrifice time to this project now to the moment it arises. We cannot have days without inactivity. I need at least three people that are willing to take some of this work (cause that is where I failed before) as well as provide a balance of availability so that not everyone is gone at any one time. You must be into Warriors or at least really into being a part of something big. Anyways, post below with some information about yourself and things you would like to see. This area is for those that may not have the ability to control multiple cats and so need to pawn some off, or maybe you saw an npc that was created that stole your heart, or perhaps your cat is having kittens and needs a roleplayer to take up the task. Here is where all those cats go.

How to put up for adoption?

To put up for adoption, you can pick the tag “Offering” and then add a sub tag for what you are offering whether it be kittens or apprentice or etc… You do not need permission to offer. Once the adoption is complete, you can add a closed tab to it so we can archive it.

How to Request?

If you want one of those NPC, you are welcome to make a thread with the tag “Request” on it and just tag us with the information about the NPC that you desire.

They would rather live life to the fullest and make love instead of war. It's not uncommon to find anything from hippies to daredevils among their ranks.

Torrentclan is full of all those that wouldn't really conform to other clans per se. Sorta like that large group of misfit toys from Rudolph. Some are very calm, relaxed, not really caring much for anything other than the decency and quality of life. Others can be balls of energy, barely able to keep their paws, muzzle, or tail still for even a single moment. Then there could be those who enjoy pushing themselves, swimming down to touch the bottom of that certain coral bed or climbing a tree to its higher most branches. Though one common trait among all Torrentclan is their love for fish and water.

Training




Their training is quite standard, usually with basic combat instruction though the intensity has gone up in the past moons. Fishing is another key aspect as is swimming. It is said that Torrentclan cats are born in warm, shallow water so they are used to it early on. As apprentices, one of the first thing the mentor does is fling them out into a calm patch of seawater and make them swim back as this is also part of their final assessment.

Due to their love of water, Torrentclan almost exclusively dines on fish alone though there are occasional other aquatic life such as crabs or minnows, etc.


Predators




Swimming and fishing come with a price, and that is the risk of not only being swept out with the tide, but also nabbed by carnivorous fish and other water dwelling creatures.

The Deceased


In the deceased, there are cats that have died or that are related to living cats without desire to make them as actual character. These characters do not require much information like your main character does, and everyone is welcome to post. Only those that are past leaders, medicine cats, or deputies will need to be accepted in an attempt to prevent time paths crossing with each other.

Starclan

Most cats will be Starclan cats except for those that made unforgivable offenses during their life. These cats can make appearances in many cats dreams that speak to Starclan and are welcome to be used by those cats including medicine cats, med apprentices, and leaders. Those special prophecy cats are also given permission but must be approved.

Dark Forest

Those cats that made bad choices in their lives will be placed here. They could be the source of many cats will to prove themselves. These cats are not allowed to be used unless given permission or for plot.

Character Sheet

To post a deceased character you must do a few things. First, choose a tag for Starclan or Dark Forest then another tag for which clan they use to be a part of. If they were part of no clan, then do not put a clan tag and just put the appropriate tag ( example: Loner or Rogue or Kittypet tag ). Use the form below and delete the writing in parenthesis when posting

Rules


There are rules everywhere and this is no exception. This may change when needed to suite circumstances and is to be obeyed unless you wish to be kicked or penalized. There will be tallies kept for users in the roleplay as a way to keep track of mistakes made.

1 through 2

1. Read the “Welcome” message for guidance. This is more of a suggestion, but a highly recommended one


2. Do not chat in main roleplay threads. This means that any threads that staff post that are open to majority of players is to remain clean of OOC (out of character) chat unless it is at the end of a roleplay response - do not make a separate post for it

3 through 5

3. Threads not started by staff must be cleaned of OOC if it is to be counted for skill points. This is to prevent having to go through pages of nothing but chat


4. BE ACTIVE! This tends to be the hardest rule to follow. Since this is a Hosted Project, activity will be monitored constantly since this roleplay is meant to last. Every user has a week to respond. If no response, they are marked as inactive and their cats are moved to NPC or deceased.


5. Remember to helpful and kind. There is no place for OOC drama, only ICdrama. Everyone is to be treated with respect regardless of roleplay level, knowledge of fandom, or any personal identifications/tags that they may use

6 through 8

6. No God Mode/Mary-sues and Gary-sues! The point of the dice is to allow Variety and possible death to the roleplay, to keep things realistic and give everyone a fair chance. If you wish to kill NPCs that are created, you must ask for permission and even then you have to roll the dice to see if you actually beat them


7. If there is something you do not understand, ask or at least look for answers. Try and read all the tutorial threads created by staff, but if you can’t seem to find what you are looking for, or perhaps just missed it, please ask questions. We are here to help (and we don't bite... usually)


8. Always @TAG. People forget, get distracted, or even get so many notifications that they never see it. It is important to tag those you are talking to, those you mention, and staff when we are needed

9 through 10

9. Follow Rank Rules! To prevent from fluctuation of unused characters, there are set ranks that grow on activity and involvement. These ranks can be bypassed with special permission, but for the most part, are to be followed. That means if it says that you can only have one character then you will have to wait to level up for other ones (it isn’t too hard though). Feel free to ask for permission, it never hurts


10. Remember to ask for permission for things you are unsure of. Tag those you want to have relations with your cat, tag staff if you want relations with a NPC, and always ask questions if you are unsure if something is or is not allowed

Ranking Up Tutorial


Here, the benefits and ways you can rank up will be revealed. Simple Activity is really the strongest way to go further, actually.

RolePlayer Rank Up

To keep activity at a high level, roleplayers will rank up just like their cats, but with different ranks. These ranks will allow for many extra benefits as well as seniority and a feeling of pride.


There are seven ranks that everyone can reach:

Just Starting Out- This is the beginning rank and will grant you the creation of one character


Requirements: Nothing, except to have joined the roleplay

Learning the Ropes- The next rank will grant you the ability to control two cats.


Requirements: Must have been active (roleplay not chat) for a week straight.

Knows a Thing or Two- This rank is where things get good. You will have the ability to create up to four cats, have the ability to be a major player in plot devices (or be picked for them), and the chance to have cat chosen for higher ranks.


Requirements: Must have been active for ten days (doesn’t have to be straight and chat doesn't count) and had at least 20 post that are not one liners (a group of 5 one-liners is the equivalent of one post)

Dedication to the Project- This rank will allow up to 6 cats, an ability to create sub-plots, and have two cats that are able to hold two major positions.


Requirements: Active for a month (not every single day, just noticeably; once again, only chatting doesn't count) and to have shown involvement in a least one major plot as well as posted at least 40 posts (again, there are 5 different one-liners in a group and a one-line group is equal to one post)

A Voice in Our World- Of course, up to 8 cats are allowed, the privilege of helping to create major plots is bestowed upon them, and the ability to control neutral characters or move the plot along (when asked by staff). These players can be considered for Game Master assistant roles.


Requirements: Active for two months, involvement in three major plot movements, and to have shown to be very prominent in the hosted project

Loyal to the End- Gets an increase of maximum 10 cats to control as well as the ability to create neutral characters


Requirements: Active for three months and involvement in at least five major plot movements

Living Forever- These cats become like mini-moderators for the roleplay. They are allowed as many cats, both neutral and main, as they wish


Requirements: People look up to this player for help and just in general. This title is accorded to whoever the members of the roleplay the community has voted for

Staff Rank Up

"Since this is a large project and I know I lack in many areas, it is important that we have a strong staff for this hosted project. Each rank is given different privileges and more responsibilities as they go up. You must be at least 'A Voice in Our World' to be considered for most of these." Demon's wise words, June 11th, 2016

Dutiful Apprentice- This position requires “Dedication to the Project” and these users are granted “A Voice in Our World” rank without the requirements. These users are errand boys/girls pretty much. They will also try and make sure that all questions and responses are answered if they can. If they can’t answer at least tag a higher member. They will do the task like counting posts, making sure people are active, and keeping an eye out if staff has forgotten to do something. They also retain the responsibilities of being friendly and helpful

Loyal Warrior- These are, in a way, moderators. These users must have been a Dutiful Apprentice for at least a good month. They are granted a “Loyal to the End” clearance and have quite a few duties. They are required to make sure the above staff are doing their jobs as well as train and help them with these jobs. They are given clearance to keep up with plot devices and make add edits or help move the plot along. They are the main “neutral characters” and will help with providing sub-plots or interactions with other users or random AI cats. They are also required to do much of the duties of the Dutiful Apprentice except they can delegate it to those below, much like a mentor in the Warriors world.

Medicine Cat Guide- This is given to one user (though they are allowed a partner, which is to be the apprentice) and their job is to keep up to date with the threads. They are to make sure the plot is up to date, the tutorials are easy to understand, all questions are being answered, and that everything is in line with the rules. They are granted a “Living Forever” clearance and will be the main 'go to' if you have plot ideas or prophecies. If a “Apprentice Medicine Cat Guide” is granted to a user, they will also be given the Living Forever status.

Hardworking Deputy- This is given to a user that, in the absence of the Game Leader, will have to keep everything running smoothly. They have all the powers of the GL and must be active to a fault when the GL is not around. Without them, the ship may never sail.

Character Rank Up

For characters, ranking up is sort of like aging or even just progressing faster than other cats. Like in the Warriors world, ranks will be given by your performance or “activity”, to an extent. Depending on certain things, your cat could have the change to become a deputy or have other great opportunities in store for them.

Kit- Being a kit is a difficult task and is not recommended for those that only have one cat. A kit will either die after three “in game” moons of inactivity or can simply become an apprentice after 18 posts. This will cause their age to be 6 moons, regardless of the time in roleplay. To become a medicine cat apprentice, you must show interest and roleplay with the current medicine cat for a good chunk of those 18 post so that they know your interest.

Apprentice- Apprentices must receive 25 skill points by training and participating in battles (you can read more on that in the training tutorial). Once they get 25 skill points, which can be placed in any stat, they will go through their assessment. This is exactly the same for the medicine cat apprentice, with the only difference being that they will have different training sessions and a different assessment, because, well, they are the medicine cat apprentice.

Warrior/Queen- This one works with age more so than anything. Depending on the route you are going, you must be very active and involved (both with the clan and the roleplay in general) to get deputy, show involvement with medicine for medicine cat (high in intelligence with at least +1 modifier for intelligence), or to get senior warrior rank, simply be active. To become an elder elder, your cat must either get injured permanently or reach at least 120 moons according to roleplay time.

Elder- To have your cat die of old age is really up to you. Whenever you decide it is time, they can go to Starclan.

Deputy- A deputy becomes leader when the old leader either dies or steps down and gives the spot of clan leader to the current deputy.

Leader- Leaders can step down and become elders, but they will most likely die.

1000 AD


This roleplay takes place in a particular time period when cats were not seen in the best of light. Due to this, it is important to get some back history of how the cats came to be here. Each clan has its own personal story, but all the cats have a similar story. Welcome to the Middle Ages.

We all came from somewhere

A Time of Superstition

Our poor cats came from the mainland near the beginning of the middle ages. It was a couple hundred years after, but quickly the safety and reverence cats once had started to vanish. All of a sudden, cats were seen as supporters of witchcraft and hand of the devil for twolegs feared their free and untamable nature. The cats of this time say twolegs' souls are trapped in that bodies and so they looked at the pointy-eared mouse-hunters with envy. Killings of mass amounts of cats started and soon they were forced to flee. Luckily, pointed horned, furry faced wild twolegs did not believe to the weaker and meeker twolegs and so passage on their wooden monsters allowed for the cats to run away from their deaths. Some died on the voyage and some even had to sneak on boats with their twoleg enemies and hide away. Luckily, on these wooden monsters there was a plenty of food and if you rode with the wild twolegs they even provided you with food. Still, the days were long and motion sickness was a terrible enemy in which herbs were found for during this time.

A Home Away

The island they found was far enough from the mainland that twolegs rarely entered. There was an old garden that remained from times past and the angry mountain usually kept any twolegs from settling due to “past” fears from history. The cats knew no such fears and saw the fire mountain as a gift from the ancestors and a sign that this was home. The Wild twolegs are normally the only ones that visit and they do not do much harm to the environment. In fact, they tended to help the cats in getting rid of wolves and larger predators. Sometimes the more “Pretty” furred cats would vanish, but the why was never really answered.

The Creation of the Clans

Some cats had come from clans or tribes or even other groups called another name, but the fear had made many be forced to separate. On this new island cats were alone other than some groups and many feared other cats due to some of the horrors that happened like being abandoned by friends or even used as bait to escape or just not wanting to get close again. It took about a good 60 moons or so to even get to the point of joining in groups and at the time only two islands were really used. The other two islands, that would become home to the other two clans of Torrent and Silent, were hidden and unexplored at the time. After much consideration and a large amount of the cats agreeing to joining together (and some guidance from Starclan), the clans of Flareclan and Wispclan were created.

A Voice Divided

Even though peace seemed to be growing there was an uneasiness in the two clans. There were some cats that did not quite fit in and felt there was something missing from their life. The two groups were growing fairly large and it seemed that it was time to let some voices have a choice. After much resistance, the clan leaders of Flare and Torrent allowed for cats to leave and explore the other islands that had recently revealed a new path to cross as way of eroded sandbar and a fallen tree. The two clans of Silent and Torrent were soon formed and balance was brought to the four clans.

Flareclan's Territory Mapped Out


Flareclan's island is a fairly forest covered one with many trees of different variety and size. Unlike Silentclan, Flareclan's trees usually provides a blanket of dappled sunlight across the forest floor. As mentioned on the (there will be a link here to Flareclan information page), these cats are avid climbers and are somewhat spoiled acting due to thinking their island is the greatest.

Flareclan tends to have a large abundance of really old, wide maple trees that cover the territory floor. These are the trees that protect the camp as well as surround it for some time before you see many different tree species.

Sleeping Poppies

As you go closer to the volcanic island, cats are to beware of the sleeping poppies. During new-leaf these can prove to be deadly as they can stop a cats heart if breathed in too much. In new-leaf it is winder causing for these poppies to lure young cats to a long and permanent sleep.

Sunlight Stream

Sunlight stream can be followed all the way to the Silentclan border where you will see the image above until it levels out and just becomes a small stream that courses through the clan to the Wispclan border. Apprentices like to jump on the stones to avoid the water and pretend to be Torrentclan cats here. Right near the end at Wispclan border is the sandbar that can be used to cross into Wispclan territory.

Adder Steps

Adder steps is located a little bit lower than the beginning of the stream. It contains many rock caverns small enough to house adders and tends to be dangerous during green-leaf. It does also hold lots of potential prey spots, but sometimes it isn't worth the cost.

Volcanic Island path

As you walk closer to the ocean where the volcanic island is, there is a path that seems it was created just to guide the warriors to their makeshift tree bridge across to the island. The tree bridge is about three cats wide and is very sturdy.

Bridges

To cross to Silentclan, there is a log that can fit a couple cats at a time. It usually withstands being buried underwater.


To cross to Wispclan, there is a sandbar that will sink as the tide rises. It is more complicated to make ventures to Wispclan.
