zorua_by_xous54.png
Biography:
Born and raised in Black City, Unova she is the second born child, living simply in the shadow of her older sister. Eden from a young age was always overshadowed and overlooked by her family. Her father was a well-known card shark and gambler, well known all around black city. His reputation often brought him many challengers as well as getting him in trouble with mob bosses who caught him cheating, or found out he cheated, as a result, this put his family in debt. Edens older sister not wanting anything to fall on her shoulders had married into a rival family to avoid any association as their debts continued to grow over-time. Eventually, some of the families got tired of waiting and as a result, Eden lost her father and as the unofficial heir to her family name the debt soon fell to her and as a result, she too began turning to cards and gambling as a way to try and pay off what she could but it became too much for her to bear alone.

When she turned sixteen she was approached by the son of one of the richest families in Black City, he offered to marry her into his family as well and if she accepted he would pay off her families debt. She accepted but requested they wait until she turned eighteen and he agreed. She had no intention of marrying him, over the years she continued to play, saving up everything she won in hopes of running away before they could make the arrangement official and so she did, one night taking a ferry to Kalos in order to escape her nuance of a fiance.

After a few weeks of living there, she came across a black market dealer, where she found Zorua's egg. The man seemed very adamant about selling them and stated if he couldn't he'd just abandon them somewhere or sell them to underground fight clubs, so like any decent person she stole the egg and left the man lying flat on his back after she delivered a rather nasty yet swift kick to his nether regions, unable to allow such a foolish sacrifice to be made she took care of the egg, bringing into the world her most loyal companion and first ever pokemon.

Half a year went by, and she spent her time moving from place to place making money off crooked bets and as much as she hated it; underground fight clubs, she made a nice small fortune and also made a few friends in the process, all coming from different yet very similar backgrounds in order to form the team they are today.

Personality:
Eden is very intelligent and often uses her looks to downplay her opponents, allowing them to let their guards down around her while she simply conducts her team from the sideline. She is an excellent liar and seems to do it almost effortlessly as she fabricates stories to throw off law enforcement or rival trainers, and even her own teammates at times. She is fiercely loyal to her friends and hates the idea of betrayal, while her motives are selfish she would never turn on those who stood by her side. She can be a bit of a child at times and often spoiled in her own way as she simply hates the word "No." and being told she can't have something or do something her way, she is not above throwing slight tantrums or even giving others the silent treatment whenever things don't go her way but they never last long.
Eden is also very confident and well organized, running her team with pride and elegance rather than sheer brute force, She believes in being cunning and always having the element of surprise on her side. Outside of that, she's very easygoing and levelheaded; always in control of the situation no matter how dangerous or chaotic, she always has to be one step ahead of everyone else. Upon getting closer o Eden you'll find that she is more like a big sister or even a mother figure, babying her pokemon and teammates alike. Often spoiling them when they pull off a job successfully or reprimanding them when things go wrong or if they step out of line she shows little hesitation when putting them back in place, often unloading that darker half of herself; as nice as Eden can be she does not tolerate disrespect in any form, from a simple eye roll to flat out disobeying a command it's all the same and she takes it as a slap in the face to now only herself but to the team as a whole. At times Eden can be verbally abusive, and rather harsh when displaying her dominance as a leader to ensure she stays on top and shows no weakness when doing so. However, despite her faults, Eden is a person worth trusting and will always come through for those who trust her and respect her, outside of leader mode she is a goofy, fun-loving young woman who enjoys the company of her friends she is often the most childish of the group and often forces them to do "Normal" friend stuff such as visiting amusement parks, festivals, and going to the beach when they can. Just so it's not all doom and gloom every day, at least not until they start making a name for themselves.

Skills:
Eden is a master tactician, always finding a way to stay three steps ahead of everyone even when the odds are against her or if things don't go according to plan, she always has a way to turn the tables so she and her team make it out in one piece.

She also has a very silver tongue, using many manners of speech be it to either pull information from someone almost naturally or to simply lie and manipulate any situation into working in her favor. Eden is well versed in the art of scamming and could even give the teams' con artist a run for their money if she so desired but alas she uses her skill to simply pull strings and talk her way out of a dangerous situation or to get inside someone's head.

Observation is also one of Edens many talents, she takes note of everything going on around her, marking every face mentally. She is able to recall almost every slight detail of a person just by looking over them a few times, she often uses that to mark important targets or make mental not of people who could be undercover officers or any sort of threat, this also allows her to pick apart zorua's illusions and remember landscapes and floorplans.

Goals:
She simply wants to disrupt the system, removing the Elite 4 and Champion from this hierarchy of power that they've established over the world.
She wants to end the stereotype about evil organizations and every leader being a complete egomaniac, she wishes to be the first female leader of a powerful organization who is taken seriously not as some joke after a legendary pokemon.
She also wants to stop pokemon experimentation especially after the Ultra beast incident in Alola and the Mewtwo accident in Kanto
To keep her team/family safe and successful
Battle Theme:
Elegant Chaos

The Basics
Name: Aldric Laurentin
Nickname: Ald
cache_62605726-cbfc-4a8e-ca27-15fb55641565.png
Gender: Male
Age: 19
Orientation: Pansexual
Hair/Eye Colour: White/Grey (Naturally Black Hair)
General Appearance: Tall and lean with pale skin, but much stronger than he looks. Ald has waist length white hair, with long bangs that partially cover his right eye; if he forsees himself getting into a violent situation, he pulls his hair up into a ponytail to keep it out of the way.
Hometown: Cyllage City, Kalos

About His Partner
Species: Noibat
Sex: Male
Ability: Infiltrator
Moveset: Supersonic, Bite, Gust, Toxic
Trivia: Noi (nicknamed for the sake of simplicity) can often be seen clinging to the back of Aldric’s head when it is resting, nesting amongst his hair.

His Final Team:

Species: Noivern
Sex: Male
Ability: Infiltrator
Moveset: Whirlwind, Boomburst, Dragon Pulse, Toxic

Species: Grovyle
Sex: Male
Ability: Overgrow
Moveset: Leaf Blade, X-Scissor, Agility, Frustration
Acquired: Stolen from its trainer.
Trivia: Frustration is its trump-card. Aldric “rescued” the lizard-type from an incompetent trainer, but Grovyle has never forgiven him.

Species: Rapidash
Sex: Female
Ability: Flame Body
Moveset: Megahorn, Poison Jab, Flame Charge, Return
Acquired: Encountered during a self-assigned cliff-scaling training session. The then-Ponyta had become separated from its herd having fallen from the cliff and ending up stranded on a ledge. He tossed a ball at the fire horse and that was that.
Trivia: A polar opposite from Grovyle, Rapidash adores Ald. The two pokémon often clash over their opinions. Rapidash allows Aldric on its back when he needs a quick getaway.

About Him
History: In his younger years Ald had been avid about his sports; with a gift from his mother he would cycle in the local races, he would scramble the city’s cliffside under the watchful eye of Grant, and he would fish the ocean to relax.

Father nowhere to be seen – he had dissappeared before his younger sister, Annie, had been born – Aldric could see his mother beginning to ail somewhere along the way. Stress was the cause. She had been overworking to provide for him and his sibling. Ald made the choice at age fifteen to try and help her. He would make sacrifices. He started by trading his bike in at the shop in order to provide for a while so that she could rest. She was distraught; however, “you are still a child,” she had sobbed into his shirt, “you should be enjoying yourself, not doing this.” Her mental state only deteriorated further. Guilt. He had tried his best to keep his family together, but things just kept crumbling. He’d gotten caught scrounging at the café on one particular evening. A formal caution. He was trying to keep Annie and his mother fed! Was that so wrong?

Eventually, social services got involved. With Annie going to school in tatty clothes and with a rumbling stomach it was bound to happen, but it hadn’t stopped Aldric being any less hysterical as his mother was admitted to a care institution and Annie into a foster home. At age sixteen Ald was left behind to fend for himself.

At age sixteen and a half, Aldric stumbled through Connecting Cave and bumped into a man dressed in a garish red. At age sixteen and a half Aldric learned hatred. He had always remained as cheerful as possible for his mother and sister, but that wasn’t needed anymore. They were gone. Taken from him. As that man in the hideous suit turned to face him, a screeching purple bat in his clutches, Aldric learned to hate. He hated that painfully familiar face and snarled in vengeance. It was his fault that his family was gone.

“Let go of that pokémon, you bastard!”

Personality: Brotherly. Selfless. Quiet. Wary. A contridiction. Aldric can’t not look out for his peers. They were his family now. Everyone else he remained shut off to, however. The less people he had around him the lesser the chance of being betrayed. Only around his family would he relax and let his sarcastic sense of humour breathe. As a consequence of his childhood Ald was never greedy, he would savour every morsel of food and quietly thank the forces that be for the pillow beneath his head every night.

Skills: Despite appearing somewhat pasty, Aldric has endurance. He can swim, run, and climb for further, longer, and higher than the average person. Having lived alone for the latter part of his teens he knows survival; he can pull through in a pinch, administering first aid from next to nothing, and boy does he know how to use a knife, from butchering carcasses to fighting off red-suited buffoons. He keeps a blade strapped beneath his shirt at his back.

Goals: To eradicate Team Flare from Kalos. Whatever insentives that organisation offered had destroyed his family. They torture pokémon. They’re filth.

History
Nova was born to two middle-class parents, an only child to a doting mother and loyal but overworked father. Nova's parents had been getting by, but only just barely, before Nova was born. With a newborn baby in the house came new expenses, ones her parents had hardly thought of beforehand. As such, the family was even more strapped for cash, since they had only Mr. Smith's income to live off of. Regarless, baby Nova lived in bliss, happily following her mother to and from the market for groceries and helping around the house. When her father came home, the house always felt warm and inviting, and all the pain of a day filled with toil vanished. The piling bills on the living room table didn't seem as high as it was. But in the night, when her parents thought Nova was asleep, she would listen from under her blankets as her parents yelled at each other. At the end of the day, it turned out, the bills and loans and debts simply don't vanish on their own.

When Nova was thirteen years old, her father finally caught a break. His job offered him more hours and more pay at their sister site in the Kalos region. Nova, up until that point, had been well-rooted in Hearthome. What was called a city to her seemed more like a small town - she had many friends, and knew where all of their houses was, as well as the best way to get there. She knew all the good spots to eat on a budget, and all the free attractions to waste time at. Now, she was uprooted and shipped what might as well have been halfway across the world for her father's job. Mrs. Smith was furious, if only because she could see how negatively this move was affecting Nova more than her husband could see. But the pile of bills on the table wasn't going to get smaller, no matter how many false smiles her parents put on for their daughter, no matter how many nights they kept her up with their incessant arguing. It wasn't long until Nova turned to theft, bullying, picking fights, defacing property, anything to get her parents' attention off of each other and onto their daughter who was so struggling emotionally to make sense of her life, and what had possibly happened to the loving parents she once knew.

At fifteen years old, Nova's mother and father filed for divorce. They went to court over the custody of their teenage daughter, but in the end, Nova's father won the case, as he had a better lawyer and a more steady income than her mother, who currently only had a minimum wage job at some clothing shop. Unable to watch her baby fall deeper into depression, Nova's mother saved up just enough to purchase Nova a companion, a riolu name Luca. After that, the former Mrs. Smith moved back to Hearthome, leaving Nova alone with a father who worked almost all day and came home drunk late at night. He never hit her, thank the stars, but it was damaging enough having to pick your sobbing, plastered father off the bathroom floor and lug him into bed, only to wake up to an empty house the next morning.

Personality
Nova isn't the type to beat around the bush. While not very good at expressing the more sullen emotions, she's loud, proud, and not afraid to knock you around before demanding your wallet. All her life, she's been strapped for cash, either because her family didn't have any, or her father squandered it all at a local bar, leading her to be heavily influenced by money and staunchly against alcohol of any kind. Heavily protective and aggressively violent, she'll throw herself on the line willingly to protect what little family she has left. With a severe fear of being abandoned and forgotten, and a heart full of self-hate and doubt, Nova's not about to let anyone ignore her presence anymore. And don't let her appearance fool you - she may look like a normal girl, but she'll come swinging at you the moment you step out of line, and trust me you do not want to be on the receiving end of her punch. Honest, Naive, but loyal to the ends of the Earth, Nova is an invaluable teammate.

Skills
+ Hand-to-hand combat, a student of the street. She can throw punches and kicks like nobody's business, and has an unusual strength to back it. The only down side is her lack of formal training.
+ Exceptional Pokemon trainer. Once again self-taught, Nova prefers a hands-on approach, and is accustomed to being a target dummy for her own partner.
+ Large stamina pool, fueled by a voracious apatite and a life on the streets.
+ Outstanding cook, from having to make all her meals by herself, despite no formal training.

Goals
Nova's goal is to make a lasting impression on the world. A sort of "I came, I saw, I conquered" ideal. In the end, her goal is to not be forgotten or abandoned ever again, and if everyone is loyal to her and her new friends, there's no risk of that happening.

Appearance

Tilly stands at a short 5'2" (~157cm) with an endomorph build. As an thieving actress, she takes great pride in her appearance and is rarely be seen without a spec of makeup. An innocent smile paints her face wherever she goes, and she walks with a slight bounce to her step, giving her an air of purity. When upset, her body tenses and her face contorts in a grisly snarl.
Will I
History

Tilly was born the second child to an average couple in an average household in an average town. In Lacunosa Town, everything was routine. Everything was in order. Her parents raised her and her older brother to follow those orders and routines. They both earned average grades. They participated in average afterschool activities. Everything was as it should be.

Tilly loved her parents. Tilly loved her brother. But Tilly despised her town’s methodical ways.

After her fourth school year, Tilly decided to break a rule: she brought a blue ink pen to class rather than the standard black. When the teacher questioned her at the end of day, she simply bowed and apologized and allowed a single tear to slip down past her quivering chin as she explained that her usual pen slipped out of a hole in her backpack. While her teacher patted her head and warned her against the dangers of blue ink pens in a black ink classroom, Tilly’s heart pounded against her chest. What a rush! What a strange feeling, to disturb order!

Her rule-breaking grew larger with every month, but never with anything as traceable as ink. Tilly switched her desk with another student’s. Tilly moved all the furniture in the classroom two inches to the left. Tilly left chewed gum under her teacher’s desk and, as her greatest grade school triumph, Tilly hid the class pet Patrat in the janitor’s closet. She was never caught. She feigned innocence and ignorance and no one ever questioned sweet, pure Tilly. However, as it turned out, she wasn’t the only one with a flair for disobedience.

Her older brother left home at 16 with only his Audino for company. He said he wanted change, adventure, unknown. Their parents were furious and the talk of the town, but he went anyway and became the ultimate role model in Tilly’s eyes. He returned three years later, clothed in a tattered Team Plasma tunic, an empty Pokeball in his hands. He was moved by the words of Lord N, he explained, and joined the man’s organization to separate people and Pokemon for the good of the latter. But he ran into two trainers who sought to destroy his Lord’s ideals. He battled girl with wild hair and a boy in a blue jacket, but his precious Audino, his only friend, was defeated. After forcing his beloved partner to endure such pain, Tilly’s brother released it and returned home a mess. Alone, he grew despondent. When news of Plasma’s defeat reached him, he began to wither entirely.

Tilly was in tears. Her brother, her hero, was wasting away all for a couple of trainers’ desire to keep things the way they were! Order! Rules! Routine! They caused this! They caused everything wrong with her family, her life!

Furious, Tilly left the town at night, a flagrant taboo, and unloaded her fury on the snow-covered trees within the Giant Chasm. She never cared much for Pokemon or training before, but now, she was full of white-hot rage at those who force their partners into grueling matches of pure violence. How dare they! How dare they and anyone else who strives to maintain the status quo! Because of them, her brother’s life was at stake! She made a choice, then and there: in his place, she would fight for his ideals. One way or another, she would bring the change he so desired to this world!

She passed a small fire on her return home. A travelling trainer had set up camp. She paused and watched as the bundle of blankets on the ground rose and fell with the deep, sleeping breaths of the trainer within. An egg sat just a few feet away, against the trainer’s pack. It squirmed in the light of the meager flames. Tilly crept close, tiptoeing through the snow, careful of the crunch. She snatched the egg up. She ran. And she never looked back.

───────── ► ♦ ◄ ─────────

Personality

Tilly is almost always smiling, almost always quick to apologize for her actions or thank someone for their own, almost always gentle and sweet. She plays her part of the team's con artist well and replaces her pure facade with whatever mask may fit the situation. She may be a daring, outgoing street performer. Or perhaps she's an exhausted, travel-weary merchant. She could be a sweet daycare woman, a powerful CEO, an aspiring idol, or anyone else she may choose. A true actress, she wears her roles like a second skin and captivates her audience with ease. She wears so many masks that she isn't quite sure anymore which one is her true face.

Do not let her sweet demeanor fool you; Tilly hides angry blaze of fury within her core, right next to a passionate desire for causing chaos and disarray. While her parents believe she is simply rebellious and foolhardy, others may call her the sweetest and most gentle person they have ever met. Sunshine is the only one who has seen Tilly's core emerge.

She never cared much for Pokemon until her brother came home and told his story. The egg she stole eventually hatched into a green-eared Cleffa, and the two have been partners in crime ever since. Performers rather than fighters, Sunshine and Tilly take centerstage on every heist operation. They charm others with their looks and manners as well as any A-list actress.

Tilly’s true loyalty is to change and disorder, and she believes that Renegade will help her achieve her brother’s dream of interrupting the bond between humanity and Pokemon. As long as she believes they will aid her own goals, she will gladly fight for her comrades and back them up however they might need. If the team fails to remain useful, or if a better opportunity arises, Tilly believes that she will not hesitate in abandoning the friends she has made, despite her admiration of Renegade's leader, Eden.
Win?
Skills

A master deceiver, Tilly uses her body language and facial expressions to convey her act rather than word riddles. She can switch between roles at a moment's notice.

A jack of all trades, Tilly keeps her audience's focus by singing, dancing, and performing sleight of hand tricks. She is a particularly talented dancer after eleven years of ballet.

When no particular role suits an operation, Tilly must rely on her stealth. Agile and quick, she makes a proficient thief.

► ♦ ◄

Goals

Tilly wishes to cause a world revolution. Her leader's goals are well and good, but Tilly wants more. Be it a great war or simple economic chaos, she wants to cause change. She wants total upheaval. She wants to begin anew, free from traditions and routines. She wants her brother's ideals, the ideals of Team Plasma, to be realized as truth. And, though she hasn't quite realized it yet, she wants to find herself amidst her many masks, and, eventually, maybe, lay her masks aside.

Species: Snivy
Ability: Overgrow

ABOUT HIM

Biography:
Ai was born and raised in Lumiose City. His parents were both rich and from the time he could walk he was told how to act, how to eat, what to wear. Don't make a disgrace to this family Aiden. He grew to hate this life and when he entered middle school he started to rebel. He wouldn't listen to what his parents would say, he would spend his days in his room not caring about their stuffy social events. That's how the learned how to hack into computers and he found the thrill he got from it. His parents had no idea that's what he was doing. Honest, it wasn't like his parents were abusive, they were just caught up in their stuck up fantasy world to see how unhappy their son was.

High school arrived and Aiden spent long nights out in the city and wouldn't come home until late. He had joined a group of ruffians in the South side of Lumiose. They wouldn't do much besides minor graffiti and small things like stealing stones from the stone shop. It bored him but at least it got under his parents skin and that pleased him. One day they sat him down and told him they wouldn't have a criminal for a son. Either he straighened up and left the life style behind or they would outcast him. That wasn't exactly something a seventeen year old wanted to hear. So he left, he found himself wondering around Kalos. He managed to pick up a bike to make it easier. All he had on his back was his laptop and his Pokeballs. He got odd jobs around the region and he made due.

One day he spotted a trainer abusing his Snivy and it angered him. Just because a baby Pokemon didn't understand it's commands yet didn't mean that you could hurt it. The trainer was sent on his ass with an upper punch. The Snivy joined him on his journey and they've been inseparable since. It had only been a few months on the road when he ran into Eve and joined her team. He hoped that being a part of this would make his life worth while. To make his life mean something. That and he was tired of being a wanderer with no goals.

Personality:
Ai is the kind of person that always seems to be grumpy. A perpetual frown is always on his face, though it's not like he's not happy. In fact with his crew he's quite joyous. He just has a hard time expressing emotions that isn't sarcasm, anger or annoyance. He's probably that grumpy little brother you never knew you needed. He's too smart for his own good, having gotten into several fights because he's told some idiot that they were wrong that this is how it really is. He really has no shame when it comes to putting people in their place. Ai is very protective over his team mates, even though he can call them out on their shit sometimes. Or so he believes. He can be way too energetic, which might have to do with the copious amount of coffee he drinks. He's quite good at solving puzzles and figuring out solutions and plans. It's not uncommon to find him trying to put something broken back together again. He claims it helps him think, most think ht's probably because he has a little OCD at times. One thing Aiden hates the most is people touching his things. Hands off his laptop and you get to keep your hands. Especially don't try to steal his food, that's asking for things to go South real fast. While prickly, Ai is a very loyal and reliable team mate that'll put his team first before he cares about anyone else's problem.

Skills:
Hacking- Ai from his young teenhood has been quite an expert with computers. He started of hacking minor forums online before moving on to sites people paid him to mess around with.
Tactician- Aiden has always been good with coming up with plans to get the job done right.
Knife Throwing- Aiden is good with aim, if he didn't have his Pokemon to fight off people he'd be adept at throwing a knife right into their skull.
Parkour- Just something he picked up living in Lumiose City.

Goals:
To be a part of something big, to make it so his life mattered for once in his life. To be a part of a family.
