Resident Old Guy
Location: Motel on Outskirts of Laverre City, Kalos
Day: Wednesday, May 3rd, 2018
Time: 8: 45 AM
Weather: Sunny
The sun was peeking through the blinds which caused a bit of a glare on the laptop screen which reflected back into Edens reading glasses, causing her to shift slightly on the unmade bed. Zorua shifted as he repositioned himself against her side as she moved, tail swaying softly as his breathing became steady again as he drifted back to sleep. Eden sighed softly as her fingers continued to dance across the keyboard, loading up a new page on the cryptic website as she began scrolling down and eyeing the many caged pokemon and crates full of eggs, even cases of fossils and evolution stones caught her eye but what pushed her away every time were the prices that followed, they were always ridiculously high even though the quality was there she couldn't bring herself to waste all the teams funds on items that they couldn't even sell themselves. She pouted as she passed a cage full of Larvitar and Axew, not that she didn't love her own pokemon but seeing ones that are just naturally powerful that she couldn't have was just upsetting. But it was to be expected her team was only able to pull off the smaller heist, holding up daycares and occasionally robbing a pokemon center when they could but it never mattered much if they were always on a short timer before cops were called. Self-pity aside she went up to the blank search bar before typing in 'R3nEg4de.ex' and entering a very long password before watching as the code allowed her to enter her team's personal stare which didn't really have much; however, despite the lack of product there was a message under a small box of stones that they stole off a traveling trainer which read: 'Location?' she smiled to herself as she simply messaged back 'We'll be in touch' on these sites the cloak and dagger method was always necessary since you never knew who you were really dealing with, which is exactly why she's glad to have her friends when meetings like this occur.
Eden eventually shut the laptop after making sure to securely close down everything, even with a hacker of her own she still wanted to prevent any attacks she could and more importantly keep her friend Tilly from finding out about their illegal trades, the silly girl still thought they got all their money fro item trades and selling fossils, just to keep an uproar from happening for as long as she could. Stretching lightly as she rose to her feet, sliding the laptop into her bag she grabbed a hoodie from one of the many bags on the floor, whoever it belonged it was too big for her small frame nonetheless she threw it on over her pajamas, sighing before making a clicking noise with her tongue which causing Zorua to stir from his sleep and make his way to her side, yawning softly as they left the room. As they passed by each room muffled voices being heard coming from within each one as they went by. Eden sighed as she ran her hand across the dull walls decorated with spinarak webs and a rather poor coat of paint. The pair soon stepped into the lobby, Eden scanning each face individually as she searched for her friends; still no sign, she sighed and shook her head before putting her hands in the hoodie pockets, smiling down at Zorua who was now rubbing against her leg before yawning again. "I'm sure they just went out to get breakfast, this isn't the ideal place to get food." She said mainly for Zorua's sake, he was growing impatient and most likely missed the presence of the other pokemon.
The two made their way to a small lounge area, Eden grabbed a small foam cup and began filling it with coffee as she took a seat at a small table near a window, letting the sunlight wash over her as she drowned in its warmth, allowing Zorua to curl up in her lap as she pulled out her pokegear and began reading a few news articles, scanning over them all before her eyes stopped over a large headline 'New fossil exhibit', the words brought a feeling of excitment asa she contined down the page."This could be just what we need." Apparently, there was a new addition coming to the Lumiose museum and it would have the largest collection of fossils to date, which meant only one thing: Money, the team could make a big score not only off the fossils but off many of the rare paintings sold there as well which could really put the team over in terms of money, at the moment they only had about twenty-five hundred dollars and that was just off small jobs and what Eden had left when she came here and these days they were really blowing through money for supplies so a heist like this could be good for the team so she'd be a fool to not act on it. After a while, Zorua's ears began to twitch and he soon rose quickly to his feet, crawling up on Edens' shoulder as he looked behind her which could only mean one thing: Their friends were back.
Eden sipped casually at her coffee. "About time."
