Resident Old Guy
Location: Motel on Outskirts of Laverre City, Kalos
Day: Wednesday, May 3rd, 2018
Time: 8: 45 AM

Weather: Sunny

The sun was peeking through the blinds which caused a bit of a glare on the laptop screen which reflected back into Edens reading glasses, causing her to shift slightly on the unmade bed. Zorua shifted as he repositioned himself against her side as she moved, tail swaying softly as his breathing became steady again as he drifted back to sleep. Eden sighed softly as her fingers continued to dance across the keyboard, loading up a new page on the cryptic website as she began scrolling down and eyeing the many caged pokemon and crates full of eggs, even cases of fossils and evolution stones caught her eye but what pushed her away every time were the prices that followed, they were always ridiculously high even though the quality was there she couldn't bring herself to waste all the teams funds on items that they couldn't even sell themselves. She pouted as she passed a cage full of Larvitar and Axew, not that she didn't love her own pokemon but seeing ones that are just naturally powerful that she couldn't have was just upsetting. But it was to be expected her team was only able to pull off the smaller heist, holding up daycares and occasionally robbing a pokemon center when they could but it never mattered much if they were always on a short timer before cops were called. Self-pity aside she went up to the blank search bar before typing in 'R3nEg4de.ex' and entering a very long password before watching as the code allowed her to enter her team's personal stare which didn't really have much; however, despite the lack of product there was a message under a small box of stones that they stole off a traveling trainer which read: 'Location?' she smiled to herself as she simply messaged back 'We'll be in touch' on these sites the cloak and dagger method was always necessary since you never knew who you were really dealing with, which is exactly why she's glad to have her friends when meetings like this occur.

Eden eventually shut the laptop after making sure to securely close down everything, even with a hacker of her own she still wanted to prevent any attacks she could and more importantly keep her friend Tilly from finding out about their illegal trades, the silly girl still thought they got all their money fro item trades and selling fossils, just to keep an uproar from happening for as long as she could. Stretching lightly as she rose to her feet, sliding the laptop into her bag she grabbed a hoodie from one of the many bags on the floor, whoever it belonged it was too big for her small frame nonetheless she threw it on over her pajamas, sighing before making a clicking noise with her tongue which causing Zorua to stir from his sleep and make his way to her side, yawning softly as they left the room. As they passed by each room muffled voices being heard coming from within each one as they went by. Eden sighed as she ran her hand across the dull walls decorated with spinarak webs and a rather poor coat of paint. The pair soon stepped into the lobby, Eden scanning each face individually as she searched for her friends; still no sign, she sighed and shook her head before putting her hands in the hoodie pockets, smiling down at Zorua who was now rubbing against her leg before yawning again. "I'm sure they just went out to get breakfast, this isn't the ideal place to get food." She said mainly for Zorua's sake, he was growing impatient and most likely missed the presence of the other pokemon.

The two made their way to a small lounge area, Eden grabbed a small foam cup and began filling it with coffee as she took a seat at a small table near a window, letting the sunlight wash over her as she drowned in its warmth, allowing Zorua to curl up in her lap as she pulled out her pokegear and began reading a few news articles, scanning over them all before her eyes stopped over a large headline 'New fossil exhibit', the words brought a feeling of excitment asa she contined down the page."This could be just what we need." Apparently, there was a new addition coming to the Lumiose museum and it would have the largest collection of fossils to date, which meant only one thing: Money, the team could make a big score not only off the fossils but off many of the rare paintings sold there as well which could really put the team over in terms of money, at the moment they only had about twenty-five hundred dollars and that was just off small jobs and what Eden had left when she came here and these days they were really blowing through money for supplies so a heist like this could be good for the team so she'd be a fool to not act on it. After a while, Zorua's ears began to twitch and he soon rose quickly to his feet, crawling up on Edens' shoulder as he looked behind her which could only mean one thing: Their friends were back.

Eden sipped casually at her coffee. "About time."

Muffling a mix of a yawn and a moan, Nova laced her fingers and arched them high above her head. She was sitting up in bed, the blankets gathered around her hips. Blinking blankly at a wall as her hands fell to her sides, she smacked her lips together and contemplated going back to sleep. Looking to the window, no light shown between the blinds, signifying it was early, perhaps way before dawn. The fighter instead decided to get a jump start on the day, rubbing her eyes with one hand while throwing off the covers with the other, swinging her legs over the side of the bed. Slowly, she shuffled to the connected bathroom. Staring at her reflection drowsily for a solid five minutes while she let the water run, the girl finally reached for her toothbrush, proceeding to clean out her mouth of disgusting morning taste. The taste and scent of mint was always invigorating, and by the time Nova stepped out of the bathroom, she was feeling rather awake already.

Luca, who had woken up slightly later, watched with disinterest as her trainer went through her daily routine. It wasn't until Nova went digging through a bag, pulling out a set of barbells and a long piece of rubber, that the Riolu finally got up from the bed. The two did stretching, push-up's, sit-up's, lunges, and other basic warm ups for the coming routine. They then moved on to the specific area Nova wanted to work today - core and balance. Doing her best with what little equipment she brought to this seedy hotel, it wasn't until the sun was rising that Nova actually considered their workout done for the day. The trainer and Pokemon often did this routine together, strengthening their bond as a pair and also strengthening their body. Actual battle practice would come later on today. Opening up the window for some light, she pushed open the dirty panes to let the sweaty air out. Retreating into the room, Nova re-entered the bathroom for a shower. Drying off afterwards and dressing in her usual jeans, red coat and white tee, the girl wrangled in her rebellious teal locks into two messy ponytails with bangs somehow styled, if not still messy and windblown.

Packing back up her equipment, and stuffing the necessities into her deep pockets, Nova and Luca stepped outside the hotel room, making their way towards the lobby, where surely Eden would be waiting. Sunglasses, check. Wallet, Pokegear, money, switchblade, check. Hotel door key and home key, check. She was ready to start the day. As the duo rounded a corner to the lobby, Luca bounded off to go meet with Zorua, excitedly chittering with the other Pokemon. What they could have possibly been saying was a mystery to the girl. "Mornin', boss," Nova stated simply, bypassing Eden and heading to the coffee table. Pouring herself a cup, she also took a croissant off a small plate and dropped down into the seat nearest Eden. "What's new?" she asked, "And more importantly, how much did you sleep?" Taking a bite of the croissant, Nova immediately recoiled. Stale. Of course. At least the coffee didn't taste like dirt water. Besides, bread was empty carbs anyways. Tossing the food item in the trash, Nova sipped lightly from the steaming cup to wash the horrible stale bread taste from her mouth.

Aldric lived for the mornings: the scent of the dewy grass, the calm silence, but more than that, the obvious lack of brats playing friends and seeking out a battle. This particular location was perfect for his routine exercise, full piles of leaves and rickety bridges proving to be good terrain to test his reflexes and build up leg strength. His partner, Noibat, would have to disagree though; he really wasn’t a morning bat. Ald had exited the musty shack-of-a-hotel at the crack of dawn, dragging his partner along with him to seek out the ideal training spot that was the neighbouring route fifteen. Jogging, sprinting, even vaulting fencing, Aldric worked at varying intervals of intensity in circuits, building on his explosivity, the loyal Noi trailing behind him with frantic flaps.

At some point the teen stopped for a breather, wiping the sweat from his brow with a sharp intake of breath, refilling his lungs as the Noibat caught up to him. The poor guy was so out of puff, struggling to even stay airborne. Aldric sighed knowingly, glancing at his pokégear for the time. “Alright fella, breakfast time, hop on.” With a relieved cry, the purple ‘mon entangled itself in Ald’s silvery locks without hesitation. Back to the motel they go!

It was a short jog, an ideal cooldown, before Aldric entered the lobby. Grey eyes scanned his surroundings, sights settling on two girls off to the far edge of the open area. “G’morning ladies.” A knowing smirk defined his features as he approached, Aldric pinching a strand of white hair as long as his own and twirling it around his finger. “Nice hoodie, Eve. Where’d you get it?” Teasing aside, he nodded in greeting to Nova and pulled up a seat, but not before procuring a bowl of kibble for Noi from the, frankly pitiful, breakfast offerings. The instant the dish hit the table the bat appeared from behind Ald’s head, snaffling the food as if he’d not eaten in a week.

Aldric fanned his shirt, pulling the sweat-soaked garment from where it had plastered to his chest and frowning a little, grey hues flitting to his company with an apologetic glance. “So then, who’re we still waiting for? I’d like to have time for a shower before we head out.”

Tilly hated this motel. Tilly hated most things, in fact, but she especially hated this motel. The bugs were totally ruining her clothes, and it would so totally take at least three washes to rinse away the smell of mildew; no one would believe that she was some exotic noblewoman or a grand circus performer or whatever with their dumb pedestrian noses clogged with mold stink!

Ugh.

Needless to say, she didn't sleep very well. She made sure to take out her anger with a not-so-lovely paint job on her room's walls. (The ancient box television was also thrown out on the street and every dresser drawer was superglued shut and missing their knobs, but who cared much for specifics?)

Tilly woke early enough to catch Aldric and Nova on their way to their morning training sessions. After a quick toothy smile and wave, she zipped up her pink fur jacket, tossed the hood over her head, and left the property with her Cleffa waddling close at her heels. She would spend the next few hours wreaking havoc as only Tilly Thompson could--breaking windows, stealing candy, paying with only Kanto-issued dollars, and tripping every passerby she came across. Juvenile stuff, nothing major. Not yet. It wouldn't do to stain her lovely jacket. Red was so not her color, after all.

The hours passed, her mood calmed, and the sound of sirens every which way rebounded throughout the city. Tilly returned to motel lobby in high spirits, her blue eyes wide and her lips stretched with a slight smile. Sunshine sat atop her head, humming a joyful tune as it fiddled with her hood's feline ears. She looked as clean and cared for as the minute she departed.

The con strode towards her gathering team and held a large flat box out to them. She flashed a sparkling smile, her right hand at her forehead in salute.

Role: Perky Peppy Popstar!✮✮✮

"Goooooood morning, super party people!~ Oh my, wowzers, oh no, it looks like our darling dearest dork has yet to arrive!!" Her eyes bulged, her saluting hand now covering her gaping gasp. "I do hope Ai hasn't slept in, oh, no no no! Luckily! My super sweet Sunshine and I arrived with breakfast! I do hope everyone loves donuts!~" Cue tinkling giggle. "They are the fruits of my oh-so-tiresome labor, I'll have you know!" A wailing police car sped past, and the thief offered an exaggerated wink.

Eden continued to scan over the article, apparently, the exhibit would only be open to select few, for the time being, meaning they'd have to go undercover if they wanted to get in. Shaking her head, Eden watched as Zorua jumped from her lap and ran over to Luca, Nova's Riolu. The two began chattering and playing instantly, zorua spinning into a red orb before stopping and revealing an exact illusion of Riolu which seemed to amuse the small fighting type. Eden, however, turned her focus towards its trainer, after the question of her horrible sleeping pattern was brought up to which she gave a small chuckle before sipping her own cup of coffee. "You know me and sleep don't exactly get along," she stated as she began tracing a finger around her cup. "But more importantly we have another deal to make, and I might have found something that could get us out of shitholes like this, I know our little princess would love that." she smiled to herself as she recalled Tilly's first impression of the motel; However, it was short lived when Aldric joined them and inquired about Edens newly acquired hoodie which could have been his now that she really looked at it but she decided to humor him. "Oh just a little something I picked up, why do you like it?" She smiled while watching Noibat jump from behind his head and onto the table. She never really understood how that worked but didn't bother questioning the two since Zorua would often do the same, either traveling in her arms, resting on her shoulder, or even napping in one of her bags. Her thoughts were disturbed by another question from Ald, which she answered to the best of her ability.

"We're still waiting for T-" She was interrupted by Tilly who was a bit too upbeat, which could only mean she had been up to no good. And with that police sirens could be heard passing by, causing Eden to raise an eyebrow at the cheery young woman before shaking her head. "It's not even noon and you're causing mayhem, that's gotta be some sort of record and Ai hasn't shown his pretty face yet so I imagine he's still asleep or has his face in a computer screen." She gave a faint smile before taking a donut, she had to admit it was better than the stale croissant Nova had thrown away earlier so her efforts very appreciated. She clicked her tongue again which caused the now Houndour to pause from its game of chase and tilt its head at her. She could see right through him and he knew it. The canine broke into a toothy grin, letting out its signature snicker which made Eden giggle as well as she threw the rest of her donut to him, watching as he reared up on his hind legs, catching it in his mouth. "Well now we're just missing one, and I still need to get dressed since I don't want to walk around half of Kalos looking like I just lost a fight." She combed through her hair with her fingers as she spoke, eyeing each of her friends carefully before using her pokegear to send them all the article that she'd just finished reading. "We're gonna be really busy these next few days and we have a potential buyer looking at that case of stones we pinched a while back, Ald I'll leave that to you." She stated before finishing off her coffee.

"And Tilly if we pull off this heist that means we won't have to stay in places like this to save money, we could start going back to those five-star hotels that you love so much, or we could finally buy a little villa for ourselves." She smiled, the idea wasn't bad and it was something that they always talked about, that way they had a permanent place to stay and work without worry of being disturbed. She knew they would all love a permanent place to call home, where they were free to be themselves and from there they could actually begin to grow as a team which is what she wanted more than anything; however, that all depended on them pulling this off. "So, any questions or concerns? other than the obvious if we get caught we're going to jail, the simple solution is don't. get. caught." She smiled innocently at each of them before standing up and stretching, the hoodie sleeves covering her hands as she settled. "Don't worry I have nothing but faith in all of you." She leaned back in her seat carefully, not fully trusting the old material as she began gazing out the window, slowly drawing a plan together and playing through each scenerio carefully.

With a playful glare, followed by a lightly upquirked smile and a shake of her head, Nova sighed. "What are we going to do with you, Eden?" Shrugging, Nova watched the interaction between Ald and Eden, before stating her piece on her teammate's condition. "Didn't wake up early enough, Ald? Or did you just overdo it today on your run?" she teased. As Tilly appeared and held out a box of doughnuts, Nova had to restrain from rolling her eyes. Great, more empty calories. Just what she needed.

Regardless, the thug didn't have any spare cash to spend on the luxury of egg whites and spinach, so with little reluctance but much guilt, she stood and reached into the box for a cream-filled doughnut. Biting into the soft pastry as she sat back down, Nova turned her attention to Eden, who detailed a potential heist target. Pulling out her Pokegear for the article, Nova's eyebrows raised with surprise. "A museum? Think we could really pull this off?" she more or less muttered to herself. She glanced in Tilly's direction, and then down the hall towards the room Ai was probably still sleeping in, absentmindedly eating her breakfast until Luca made it clear that she was hungry too, breaking off from her play session with Zorua to pat Nova's knee and beg for food.

Nova reached down to scratch Luca behind the ear gently, taking a simple crumb cake doughnut for her Pokemon. Usually, Nova would have fed Luca something more protein-filled or healthier, but if Nova didn't have the money for such luxuries for herself, she most definitely didn't have the money for Luca.

Aiden Mugen
Location: Laverre City -> Hotel on the Outskirts
Mood: Tired

Aiden really was never a morning person. He liked long nights and sleeping in the mornings, however, things never go his way. After three nights in a seedy motel in Laverre City and late nights getting data for their next heist, as well fighting people trying to take down their site. They were quite competitive on the black market. So he here found himself in the local cafe, hoping to get something that would wake his ass up. He ordered an Espresso and a muffin. Thinking for a moment he wondered if he should be nice today and order coffee for the rest of the team. Clicking his tongue he sighed as he moved back to the line. Ending up ordering coffee just the way his team liked it.

He grunted as he took the cup holder and balanced a bag of PokePuffs and muffins. He wasn't ever the most athletic like Nova was. He normally was brains and technology, never fist fights or anything like that. However he held his own and was great at escaping. Moving closer to the outskirts of town, where it seemed like he just left hometown and entered hell. He stepped through the doors of the hotel and placed the bag down with a rustle. He noticed his crew was already gathered. As usual he was late. The last one to arrive. He didn't care though, with a shrug he put the coffee down.

"Morning, Boss, Team." he huffed as he pointed to the bags carelessly. "Pokepuffs for the Pokemon, Muffins and Coffee for my oh so lovely team." he never broke a smile on his face. It was probably something he rarely did. "Speaking of Pokemon." he said and pulled his lone PokeBall and tossed it. Snare appeared out of his Pokeball and hobbled over to Aiden. "Snivv?" it said as Aiden held out a Pokepuff.

Snare grabbed it and ran over to the group of Pokemon and cheerfully chatted. He wasn't sure what Pokemon chatted about and he found himself wishing he could talk to Pokemon to find out.

“Hey now,” Aldric pointed in mock accusation at the two girls his age, “what’s this, pick on Ald day? Give me a break; and you, Nova, could learn a thing or two from actually breaking a sweat once in a while.” He probably shouldn’t test her, but the smirk lining his normally plain features was entirely friendly, albeit teasing.

Breaking off from the banter, the teen quietly focused down at his pokégear after pinching a donut with a soft “thanks Til’”. With stern concentration on his face, Aldric fell into silence as he analysed the article lighting up his screen. It was certainly an opportunity they couldn’t miss out on. “This could be huge,” the teen mused in between bites of his sweet treat, “we’ll have to be thorough in our approach, but with Ai working against their security systems it should be a synch if we don’t get careless.” Nod nod. Aldric’s brain was already ticking away at how he could work to support the group; he didn’t have many specific skills besides from keeping up the team’s morale, but his speed certainly proved useful during in and out situations.

“Ahh, speak of the devil and he arrives. Morning pal.” He leaned back in his seat and pulled over a chair from a neighbouring table for Aiden. Noi fluttered down from the now-empty dish on the table to perch next to the other critters on the floor; for whatever reason he was rather fond of Ai’s little green companion. “You haven’t missed too much. Eve,” he glanced over to her, speaking only to their leader now, “make sure you send me that contact, I’ll arrange a meeting with them.”

"It's not even noon and you're causing mayhem, that's gotta be some sort of record..."

Tilly only giggled and let her head fall to one side, her bright eyes narrowed against her super sparkle smile. A single brow twitched in response to Nova's hand grudgingly accepting the offered treats. she went through a ton of trouble for those donuts (well, it was actually quite fun, really, watching the shopkeep's face when she bent over and waggled her─cough, brandished a knife at his throat, but who needs to know the details?). Skinny bitch better be grateful.

And she meant that in super-duper-totally-Tilly-loving way.~

"...and Ai hasn't shown his pretty face yet so I imagine he's still asleep or has his face in a computer screen."

Ahem.

The con shooed away her thoughts and stepped aside to set her treats on the nearest table while her team went about their bantering. Honestly, she was just teensy, tiny, itty bitty bit annoyed. What were they still doing here? Where the hell was Aiden? They should have been long gone, setting fires and freeing Pokemon and creating a new world free of rules. That's what she was promised. That's what Eden swore to her. Would she have to wade through another three years of bullshit or would this place get what was coming already?!

Nova's voice rang through her ears: "A museum? Think we could really pull this off?"

Sunshine squeaked in surprise when Tilly set the box down with a tad more force than necessary. She plucked the Pokemon from her head and held her partner close, running her fingers through the fur between its shimmering green ears.

"This could be huge. We’ll have to be thorough in our approach, but with Ai working against their security systems it should be a synch if we don’t get careless.”

Tilly whirled to face him and struck a magnificent pose, one foot forward, her arm outstretched to point an accusatory finger.

Role: Major Motivator!! ??

"Careless?!" she asked/screamed. "Don't doubt your teammates, big bro Ald!! You gotta believe in us! And believe in yourself! Believe in the us who believes in you!! Never give up and never give in, DO YOU HEAR ME?!" She didn't wait for a response. "Great, then let me hear ya say YEAH!!" And cue fist bump!

Smarty-pants Aiden walked in just in time to catch her pumped-up display of... whatever it was, and just like that, Sunshine hopped out of Tilly's grasp to offer a warm welcome and beg for a Pokepuff. The con made another switch.

Role: Cute and Shy...~ ❤ ♀❤

She held her arms down and clasped her hands, her eyes aimed low, her cheeks dusted pink.

"Oh, um...! Ah, hello, Ai...! Er, good morning.~ You're up early, huh...? Oh! You brought breakfast as well, how lovely!~ So did I, but... ah, well, I suppose donuts aren't the healthiest, aheh... We're discussing our next move, actually, so, um... well... you arrived just on time!~" And cue the timid smile before she knelt down to watch Sunshine and Snivy bicker over the best 'Puff.

"Hey! I work out every morning! Sometimes on the evenings too!" Nova defended. "The only reason I don't show up covered in sweat is because I wake up early enough to take showers afterwards." Holding an expression of anger for a bit, almost glaring in Ald's direction. It lasted all of a moment, though, before she broke into a good-natured grin. Nova chuckled, smirking and shaking her head good-naturedly. For as unhealthy as doughnuts were, they sure were tasty, and with Tilly's reaction to Ai's appearance just added more layers to this team. She shot Ald a look that said 'good ole Tilly, making everyone scratch their heads in confusion'. But to be honest, Nova had no clue if the con really was interested in Ai.

Taking a muffin and two PokePuffs, Nova set them on a side table while she determined who's coffee was who's. For a girl who supposedly watched her figure, the athlete seemed to eat a whole lot. Picking a cake doughnut from the box, Nova tossed the two PokePuffs towards Luca, who quickly scooped them up and ran back to the group of their Pokemon. "Back to business, Ald I'm assuming you're gonna need some sort of backup or guard, depending on where you set up the meeting? Let me know where and when I should be there. Same goes for anyone else who might need me. I've nothing else to do in this dumb city but train and work out." Slouching back, she bit into her second doughnut. "Oh, also, thanks Tilly and Ai for bringing food."

Eden rolled her eyes at the doubt being displayed by her team members, of course, it was risky but they all knew what they signed up for. They each had goals that they wanted to be realized but how exactly did they plan on achieving them if they weren't willing to step outside of their comfort zone and really get out there? Sure robbing daycares and pokemon centers paid off but who paid attention to that? They were always looked over by someone bigger and badder than them and now they had a chance to really go for it ad the first thing they displayed was doubt, The very thought made her sick and she wanted to remove any form of doubt from all of them and was about to go off on a rather violent verbal assault on them but once again Tilly's rather swift change in character seemed to catch them all off guard with her rather unusual words of motivation especially coming from someone who probably wanted to burn the world down. "I suppose she's right in a way, besides we've been sitting around here too long and I'm getting really sick of staring at these walls and going into that city and running into that even weirder Gym leader." She admitted, finally looking back at them all. It was true she was getting bored and wanted some action and not just the usual petty crimes she wanted to do something big and this was just what she needed, after allowing Tilly to finish her somewhat motivating speech she spoke up herself. "We need to start seriously working, we can't do a damn thing if we're just robbing convenience stores and bakeries like amateurs, I want to set us apart from the rest; we're the real deal, not a bunch of little kids just doing it for fun." She looked over each of them as she spoke before leaning back in her seat once more "Forget all the happy pep squad bullshit, tell me what team you're fighting for? who are we goddamit!" Eden slammed her fist on the table as her gaze darkened, becoming more serious than before which broke Zorua's playful mood as he ran, breaking his illusion as he jumped onto the table, mimicking his masters' actions as he seemed to relay the message to the other pokemon.

Eden nodded a silent greeting to Ai as he approached with more breakfast for the team, she sighed moving strands of hair from her face as she sent him the article as well before speaking. "Museum security and surveillance, think you can take it down long enough for us to get in and out? I'll also need you to keep tabs on law enforcement in the area." It was more of an order but she still wanted to know if he could handle it with what little gear they had. She eventually rose from her seat, sending the clients information to Aid as she walked over to the table, grabbing a pokepuff for Zorua who was still in his 'Alpha' position over the other pokemon and picking out her coffee from the remaining few before returning to the group and placing the small treat down in front of Zorua, scratching lightly beneath his chin as she looked back out the window, "We might need more pokemon, at least ones that can help with stealth and move heavy loads quickly and quietly, I don't care how you get them but just make sure they'll cooperate, if you need help well Ai can set you up with something." She was referring to their underground connections but for Tilly he would provide pokemon center files. "We can head out later this afternoon or in a few; however, I need to well get dressed for one and we have to pack up, find a spot to set up a base, and let's be honest Lumiose isn't the cheapest place to stay," She brought her attention to Tilly who seemed to suddenly become this timid and innocent persona which once again made everyone scratch their heads a little. "Ahem..if you're done, I'll leave it to you to do some convincing and I'll let you pick the spot this time so we don't end up in another five-star hotel like this." The sarcasm in her voice was heavy but she was sure the con knew what she meant which was all that mattered.

"Still...we can't afford any loose ends, this has to be flawless..not a single trace." She spoke more to herself as she brought the cup up to her lips. Her grey eyes going almost distant again as she began plotting again, this time going over every detail thoroughly. She had an idea but getting what she wanted would be the tough part. "Laverre may not be so bad after all," She let a faint smile break her poker face as she looked out at the city in the distance.

Cue… Fist bump? Aldric just let it happen, entirely baffled by the whirlwind that was Tilly. Their teal-haired muscle grabbed his attention next, but before he could respond the tension in the room spiked due to Eden’s outburst. “Alright alright, let’s settle down.” The deputy rose from his rickety perch, shifting to stand behind Eve’s position to place his hands on her shoulders. Nothing would gel if everyone was on tenterhooks. He pressed his thumbs into his boss’ flesh, working at a knot reassuringly. “No one’s questioning what we’re capable of, Eve,” he shot Nova a look, threatening her to keep it zipped, “I was only saying that we need to approach this carefully, analyse every detail before we rush in and all that. This isn’t a corner shop and we all know this will take all of us working cooperatively and at our best, right?” Aldric looked between everyone present, holding each of their gazes until he received an affirmative gesture.

“Now then,” he observed Eden’s next instructions carefully, feeling the device now situated in his pocket buzz as she tapped at her own gear and stood, “why don’t we all finish up eating and get ourselves ready to move?” Aldric moved to grab his coffee of choice – milky without sugar – and snapped his fingers to instruct Noibat to his shoulder. “Nova, meet me in my room in thirty and we can discuss meeting this client.” Contented that he had sufficiently diffused the growing tension, Aldric started to head back to his room providing that no one protested his exit.
