Fantasy The Twelve Gatekeepers

Contrary to popular belief, God is not the one who keeps constant watch over the human's race. Instead, he entrusts this task with The Twelve Gatekeepers or The Divine Council, the first twelve intelligent beings after God to walk the ground of Earth. By name, they were Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius and Pisces.


They were there to witness the fall from grace of Adam and Eva and has been watching humans evolve with time henceforth. Each and everyone of them played a specific role in keeping the flow of humans' life under control. Everything was in accordance to God's will and humans lived in harmony. That was, until Satan decided to try his luck one more time at bringing God down.


Unknown to The Divine Council, Satan approached humans and announced the existence of the deities who had been blessing them. All kingdoms began pledging their allegiance to the Gatekeeper they believed in and worshipped. Inevitably, humans began pitting against each other, fighting over which Gatekeeper was the best and most powerful. Earth fell into pandemonium and chaos for the longest of time in history.


Meanwhile, The Divine Council was caught in a controversy as well. Leo, Aries and Sagittarius insisted that the Gatekeepers blessed those who followed them with victory. However, the rest of the council pointed out that in doing this, they would violate an oath they took of never interfering with human's wars and conflicts. They were more concerned with stopping the wars. Aries, Leo and Sagittarius disagreed and declared war against the rest of the council in order to have their way.





So basically it's the Fire signs against the world. This role play will be about the war between the Gatekeepers and not the humans. However, the Gatekeepers are free to use humans for their army and such things. Also this role play is not limited to twelve characters. There will be House of Aries, House of Pisces, the like, with hierarchy and ranks for war. And I know that the Gatekeepers are powerful and deities but no god-mode and immortality is to be allowed. If you are stabbed, you die.

Capricorn: Gatekeeper of Wealth; manipulation of Earth


Aquarius: Gatekeeper of Innovation; manipulation of Wind


Pisces: Gatekeeper of Imagination; manipulation of Water


I will be accepting ideas of what kind of Gatekeepers the twelve zodiac signs should be and for now these are what I have. At the moment, I will be accepting The Twelve Gatekeepers character. Comment if you are interested. I will provide the character sheet. It's very brief and you can add in additional information as you wish.

Appearance description:


Aries stands at an even 6ft with an androgynous appearance which is why many of her followers mistake her for male. Her head is topped with neck length red hair that always sticks out as if done purposely or as if she just rolled out of bed. The eyes are an interesting light amber color that seem contain their own inferno. Her physique is relatively slim yet toned with muscular definition.

Personality:


Aries has always been a sadistic person that took great joy in the pain of others and the aftermath of war. She finds the pain of others quite funny especially when they struggle. She's not the type to take things seriously and is pretty mischievous when it comes to deviating from plans to please her own agenda. Her main flaw is that she prefers to rush in before thinking or coming up with an actual plan. Being impatient has come in handy on the battlefield, she becomes a savage wrecking ball in battle.


Weapon: Prefers the use of knives and daggers to drag out her opponents suffering. Her go to weapons consist of an identical pair of daggers that are decorated with dragons on the hilt. These blades are made out of a special alloy can withstand her fire without melting in the process.

Gender: Female


Appearance description: Virgo sports a very short figure, very much like a young girl, Standing at only 5 foot. She has long blond hair going past her thighs. Her skin is a soft pale ivory, and her eyes a gilded yellow. She often wears a white dress, and shoulder-high gloves, and white highheels. Her physique is rather thin and frail, again like a young girl.

Personality: Virgo is not strong, but she is very intelligent. Virgo can run complex equations and calculate probababilities in a matter of seconds. She knows more about earth and the universe than any other being, besides the God that created her. Needless to say, she is a great strategist, but can also be easily distracted. Her knowlege, though expansive, also has her massive curiousity, which again, leads her to be easily distracted. Virgo is also very "Innocent", and also will say things that arent exactly appropriate to say at certain times, again, like a young girl.


Weapon:

A magic tome, not only does it contain Knowlege, but it also contain's Virgo's Notes and Diary, and also an assortment of magic spells.

Appearance: Scorpio is a lean god who reaches near 7 feet tall with white porcelain skin. He has dark raven lock with bangs falling over his forehead. His face is sharp with a strong jaw line that hardens whenever he is irritated which is quite often. A pair of cold golden eyes, calculating and suspicious, always looks down through pointed nose at everyone around him.


Personality: Scorpio is a very self-assured and strongly confident of his capability. He is rather independent and would choose solitude over camaraderie any day. He is always suspicious of others and never takes things for granted, thinking everything has a reason or an ulterior motive. Scorpio likes to do things his way. Being The Gatekeeper of Punishment, Scorpio is ruthless and can hold a grudge for eternity. Mercy is one word his vocabulary doesn't have. He possesses a mind driven with mission and will hunt down any criminals to the end of the world to carry out according punishments.


Weapon: Pandemonia Scythe. Its blade was carved out of pure diamond and can cut even the sharpest of metal. The scythe came down upon the guilty like The Reaper. It allowed Scorpio to control water at his will as well, whether to turn it into magic or a surge of energy.

Has the appearance of a teenage girl. Tall and slender with long blonde hair, with intertwined leaves and vines. She has vines that twirl up from her ankles. She has soft caring green eyes, and her features make her seem very kind.

She is kind, but sometimes is looked down on by the others for being too soft. However on important occasions she can be quite commanding and stand up for herself. She spends a lot of time with nature enjoying her surroundings. She is more caring and easygoing than some of the other signs.

She can command earth and uses long vines, sometimes with thornes to entrap or to spear her enemies. On occasions where this is not possible she uses a bow and arrows.

A long poisonous green snake, used for spying on people, blending in well with its surroundings.
