Setting

​

The setting will be placed in the 3 worlds: the underworld, heaven and Aothea. The underworld is the home for the demons, the ones who want to take over Aothea. Heaven is where the gods reside, the ones who are now keeping an eye on Aothea and the Underworld so things will not go out of hand. Aothea is the place where the humans are residing, the neutral ground. The story will take place in the year 2038.

  Chesence is the place to be in the human world. Here you can find a lot of stores with clothing, armour, weapons, and so on. There are also great places to eat and fuel your energy. Festivals are sometimes organized here which are mostly enjoyable from young to old. Since there are a lot of cultures mixed together in this city, it is an absolute pleasure for the eyes.

  Qitehz Hill is a nice piece of nature, almost untouched by human hands and let it go run wild with its beauty. Here are the most Asian influences present with monks living in the houses alongside of the hill. There is peace and tranquillity that resonates throughout the whole place. It is one of the most visited spots by Aotheans and you can often see families picnicking in the fields.

  Plorc Path is a magical road that one could walk upon. There are dozens of little lights soaring around, but don’t worry they are not dangerous. The lights here are actually useful for when you want to go walk around at night. If you assemble them in a see-through box, they will lighten up the path for you to whichever destination you want them to go. But they will eventually die out after 3 days.

  Zymt Wood is colourful in any way possible. The flowers that bloom there and the plants that grow higher than any house or building. The animals are here with greater numbers so it is more likely that you will spot one. However be aware that there are also more dangerous animals roaming around this place. Who knows, maybe you will have to run for your life once.

  The lake is a mesmerizing place to be. It is extremely popular for couples to go to in the daylight. Why the daylight? At night the creatures come here more to life. And not the good ones. The merfolk who swim in the waters of the lake are dangerous people who have no mercy as they see Aotheans as their food, but also demons and gods. The more powerful their food is, the more delicious it will taste for them.

  The Three-Dimensional Mirror is the opening for the 3 worlds. One knows that if they enter another world, they will need to be cautious as there is always danger lurking around the corner. One place is always more dangerous the other as it is the unknown for most of them.

  Paelford Hold is a castle where the demons reside in, well half of them as not everybody prefers to live inside of the building surrounded with the freezing cold if one is about to go outside. Inside there are some market stands where they can buy some food and everything they need. There is this one disadvantage that if one slips over the edge, it is a long way down.

  Scattered Wood is a dark forest, having a gloomy atmosphere around it as well as an eerie one. Nobody really knows what lights up the forest at night neither have they tried to find out about it… yet. This makes it dangerous as well as all kinds of species run around in the forest, both kind and dangerous.

  Vibyrt Fields, also the fields of the thousand colours. Almost every spot of grass has a different colour, radiating brilliantly in the morning glory. Many gods paint these fields on the days they don’t have anything to do or just admire it. A wonderful creation from nature itself.

  Boltangate Fort is the place where everyone buys the products they desire. There are balls organized as well from time to time for special occasions or just if there is something to celebrate. The place is also the residence of some gods who decided to stay in the fort. Most stay there in order to open up their shops in time.
