Quisque et orci id magna feugiat consectetur.[/div][/div][/div][/div] [div class="tabContents tabContents04" style="display: none;"][div class=tabcontainer][div class=tab4history][div class=tab4container] anastasia hasn't had an easy life. she didn't come from a loving, two-parent home. she didn't grow up in a lavish house and max out credit cards. she found out from an early age that you couldn't depend on anyone but yourself. she lived with a drunken father who abused her regularly until she finally had enough. one day when he was beating her, she managed to grab a nearby bat and well....let's just say that the bastard got what was coming to him. of course it was self-defense and she didn't face any consequences for it but they placed her in a group home since she was only sixteen. once she turned eighteen and the state wasn't responsible for her anymore, they tossed her out like trash. no job, no home, they didn't care. she found easy ways to make herself some money. whether it was selling drugs or hustling men out of their money, she did what she had to do. it was during this time in her life, that she met adrian. he was twenty-two and she was nineteen. she was at a bar, hustling some guys in a pool game. as she was leaving the bar, the group of three men approached her and they were not happy as they realized she'd played them. adrian stepped in and basically saved her from what could've been her death. it didn't take long for the pair to create a bond and after a year of dating, he brought her into his world. it was the first time she felt a sense of family, protection and just comfort. four years into their relationship they were walking out of a nightclub they frequented when a shot rang out. adrian had no time to react as he hit the ground instantly. the bullet had clearly hit it's target. she held him as he bled out, pleading for him not to leave her as some of his men chased down the shooter but it was no use, he was long gone and so was adrian. some thought that after adrian's death, anastasia would leave but she didn't. she had no where to go, this was all she knew. the new serpent leader, adrian's former right hand, told her she could stay and had the gang's protection which she thanked him for. she didn't only stay because she had to, she wanted to. she wanted to be a part of what adrian stood for and to find out who killed him.[/div][/div] [div class=tab4pic]

When her brother joined the gang, her protection just increased. She was quite the troublemaker, and always threw his name around so that people knew not to touch her. Unfortunately, that got Sadie into quite some trouble in her later teenage years, when she was kidnapped by a rival gang and held for ransom. Treated like shit, she waited for her brother to rescue her.

When it became clear that her time was running up and he wasn't there yet, she acted. She narrowly escaped with her life, and managed to return home, where alot of people had mistaken her for dead. Surprise. The kidnapping affected her deeply, but she doesn't like to let it show how much.

He'd been an accidental pregnancy between two people who really, really shouldn't have been having sex, and his mother had to carry him through the remainder of her senior year. She wasn't much of a mother, but she did her very best under the circumstances. Her parents insisted on having her out of the house by age eighteen. She moved in quickly with a slightly older male friend, who she eventually entered a relationship with -- one that was far from ideal.



This was how Ash's life started. He attended the local public school and lived on pennies. Often, his mother would send him to school with an empty lunchbox, because she hated the idea of Ash being bullied due to his poor fortune. "Fake it 'till you make it" and so on. Ash became very resourceful, for what it's worth, and also very, very slick. At a young age, he took to begging, busking, and picking pockets. Through this, and moreso the odd jobs his stepfather worked, his family managed to scrape by in their shitty house. This caused his grades to tank, which was alright. Ash had no intention of attending college, anyway.



Soon, Ash moved on to shoplifting. At this point, his father had taken to drinking, abusing both Ash and his mother. Ash became determined to move away with his mother, stealing things like small pieces of jewelry from people and pawning them off for money. He dug into his father's belongings at age seventeen, a year after dropping out of high school, and found a gun. He knew he was never meant for the workforce, never meant to wait tables or flip burgers or anything like that. He knew that crime was, inevitably, his higher purpose, and he'd see it to fruition for the sake of his family.



It was autumn when he held up a small store, stammering his way over that quote from "Thelma and Louise" before taking his paydirt and running. Unfortunately, he caught the sound of sirens in the distance. With precious little time, he ran into a bar and found himself being stared at by a bunch of confused adults. Rightfully so, as he had one of those sock-looking-masks over his face, which he had clumsily cut out of a beanie he owned. A strange man was reaching under the bar, most likely for a pistol, and Ash put his hands up, tugging the mask off of his face. Confusion turned to shock as, presumably, everyone realized how young he was.



He was given a glass of water and a quick chance to explain himself, which he used to its fullest extent. A nice lady named Stevie convinced the bartender to let him hide out in the cellar below, where they kept all the extra booze. He'd stuck his GameBoy into his pocket, which he got used as a Christmas present several years ago, and used the time to play some Pokemon. Hours passed before he was finally called back up. Stevie had gotten him some tea, which tasted like weird water, but he didn't really care much. It was free.



Ash was asked all sorts of questions, mostly about why the hell such a young person was holding up a store. He ended up pouring out his whole life story, without even realizing it. Adrian wasn't the sort to take wife-beating well. He immediately told Ash "not to worry" and that he'd "get things sorted out", immediately being more of a father to Ash than anyone else he'd ever known. He stayed for another hour, being sent off with his belongings as well as more money than he'd ever seen in one place before. As well, he was told that, if he came back, he could do small odd jobs for the gang Adrian ran. (Nothing illegal, obviously, because Stevie would kick his ass for child endangerment.)



For the next four years, Ash was the proud errand boy of the Serpents. He stashed money under his floorboards until finally he had enough to get out of his house, and take his mother with him. At first she was uncertain, but Ash convinced her that they needed to do this. The two disappeared into the night, taking up residence in a house that was only slightly less shitty, but under the jurisdiction of the Serpents. Some say Ash's stepfather was killed, but that's just a myth... right?



At twenty-one, Ash decided it was time to repay his debt. He became one of them, adding to their ranks. He finally moved out of his mother's house, as she had managed to get a real job by that point, and truly became a Serpent. Unfortunately, in that very same year, Adrian was shot dead. He'd heard about the whole thing. Part of him decided that he needed to find the man responsible, and the other part decided that he had to become a man who would have brought Adrian pride. A spot opened up at the table recently, and Ash is ready to have it. Nobody can stand in his way. Nobody should try.

They lived in a modest home, never really went without the necessities, and overall had a happy life. To be honest, Stevie was happy, and couldn't complain. When Stephania was 17 and a junior in high school, she and one of her close friends decided to go to a party at a senior's house. It was supposed to be just a typical high school party with underaged drinking, dancing, and making out. But that party was anything but typical for Stevie. While taking a break for fresh air outside away from the party, she was approached by someone she could only describe as devilishly handsome. His name was Clark, and he was the type of bad boy most high school girls are attracted to. With dark hair, piercings, and tattoos, the 20-year-old male, who was solely at the party from the town he usually lived in to deliver drugs, intrigued Stevie. They began to talk, had a few laughs, and ultimately seemed to share a connection. Stephania gave Clark her number, at it all seemed to be like a cheesy meet-cute from a romantic comedy. What started as simply texting back and forth developed into hanging out and eventually dating. But Clark had secrets that he was hiding from Stevie, dark secrets. When Stevie was 18 and graduated from high school, she decided to take a job as a receptionist while taking online and night classes to become a nurse. Wanting to take on the full adult experience, she moved out of her parents home and into an apartment with Clark. That was the biggest mistake she ever made. Stevie had know idea that Clark was a member of the Serpents until they moved in together. She was a bit afraid of the gang world, but tagged along anyway. It was through Clark that she met Adrian and many other Serpents members. Somewhere along the way, Stephania both graduated with her nursing degree and joined the gang. That was when it all started. What was at first just drunken fits of rage, yelling, and breaking things eventually turned into physical slaps and hits that would leave bruises. Clark was ruthless against Stevie, and she felt so trapped. The last straw for Stevie was one dark night when Clark held her against the wall by her throat and drew two slash marks across her skin with his blade. That evening, after Clark passed out from all the booze, Stevie took that same blade and ended Clark's life. It was messy, bloody, and at the end of it all, Stevie had no idea what to do. So, she called Adrian. The Serpents weren't blind to what Clark was doing to her, but no one really acted as most were afraid of him. Adrian went over to the apartment that night and, in the morning, it was as if nothing even happened. Clark just vanished. Fast forward a few years, and Stevie couldn't bring herself to leave the Serpents behind. She had grown attached, maternal even, to many of the members, and wanted to protect them from the same pain she had gone through. Lyra Davis had a hard childhood. She was the only child to a woman who taught her life was hard. Her mother, Lyric, was a prostitute who worked her way into men's lives, snatched their cash and ran. PERSONALITY: Charlie has always been known for his ways as a wild child with little self control. Particularly when he was younger, he had a tendency to act purely on mad impulse with little regard for the future. Over time, his impulsiveness and general aggression has quieted down but he is still assertive and insistent.

It's never been a secret that Charlie is more than comfortable with being an authoritative figure. An almost life-long affiliate and member of a motorcycle gang, he has never skipped a beat in being the first one to take others under his wing and show them the ropes. It extends outside of general gang activity and into his love of being a life coach of sorts. Charlie is a good listener, a loyal friend, and has allowed his years of interesting life experience to turn him into a sort of wise adviser. At least, this is what he meticulously leads people to believe through charming verbiage and well timed manipulation.

Loyalty is perhaps his biggest charade, Charlie will go to the ends of the earth to prove just how willing he is to do anything for family, blood or otherwise. He makes quite the spectacle of his concern for others and desire to see them through to the best version of themselves that they can be. He comes off as a genuine, good hearted family man with a singular goal: a continued tight-knit bond with those he has surrounded himself with throughout his life.

Nothing has changed since the mantle of leader has recently passed to him, in fact his dedication to all of it seems to have intensified.

But it is, all of it, false. Charlie is deceptive in his every word and action, with a desire only to have loyalty submitted to him and his dealings rather than possess it for anyone else. He is mostly selfish, acting in his own best interest, and can have cruel tendencies though they're wrapped up in supposed good intentions.

Charlie's childhood was tumultuous. The eight years before his sister's arrival into the world were a lonely, fight for his life kind of existence. His parents were users, loud and violent in their hatred of the world and each other. Charlie was an afterthought most of the time, and he learned everything he knows today all on his own... When Sadie was born, he vowed to make life different for her, but as you've heard, hardship changes people.

The first part of his sister's life was as good for her as it could be, that he made sure of. Their mother left, their father was a cruel man with unkind hands and even more violent tendencies toward his children now that his wife wasn't around to take the most of the abuse. But Charlie kept a smile on his face, it was the only thing he could do for his sister. And eventually, he guaranteed some sort of stability for them by joining a motorcycle gang. You hope the happy ending is that they became all one big family, that Charlie and his adoring little sister found a family and consistency of belonging.

But no, that's not really what happened. Maybe on the outside things looked good, but Charlie, turned dark by years of abuse and growing up in a firefight, had other plans. It wasn't an idea that popped into his head recently, he felt this way from the beginning. An overwhelming desire to be the one calling the shots. Leadership was weak around here, he thought, and he knew he could change that if he had even the slightest opportunity.

Years went by with Charlie silently vowing to take over, and when opportunities rarely, if ever, presented themselves, he turned to other ideas.

His first idea had a lot to do with Sadie's disappearance which they would quickly learn was a kidnapping. She was being held for ransom by a rival gang at that time, and everyone believed it was just general gang violence. What no one knew is that Charlie had tried to involve himself with them in the guise of helping them out, but he was really just trying to work his way to a position that would grant him some kind of power. Of course, young and impulsive Charlie made several miscalculations and ended up severely fucking over their rival gang- and he couldn't pay off the ransom. They all believed it was a miracle that Sadie got out alive (as they were still planning some way to get her out) and Charlie just went along with the charade, never admitting the real reason for her kidnapping.

Now things have gotten very interesting. Adrian is dead, all too soon in his short life, and Charlie, who was somehow his right hand man at that point, has taken over leadership.

A beautiful front of Adrian's memory being held close to their hearts is put up, but there is no change in Charlie's plans. It's time to weed out the weak minded, and get down to real business.

Extra: Charlie has been in and out of jail a few times in recent years for various shoddy attempts at carefully executing plans, but the local cops have mostly always trusted the gang so he has a good relationship with most of the law enforcement despite his arrests.

He's used to roughhousing, and sometimes takes things a bit too far because of this. At a young age, he saw his second oldest brother get shot in the chest and the head. He survived, but was never the same. The incident stuck with Jeremy, and though he sometimes still has nightmares about it, he doesn't tell anybody. After all, he doesn't expect to get babied, nor does he baby others.

His dad left them shortly before that incident, leaving behind his mom and the three brothers. After the shooting, his mom picked up another job to help pay or the medical bills and all. He has mad respect for any woman that works their ass off like she does, though of course, he's not above a good slap to the ass either. (This can lead to a slap top the face-- something he's experienced more than once).

He joined the gang at a young age, wanting to help his mom provide for the family. He dropped out of high school in the tenth grade (i.e.: was expelled) and never looked back. He's got street smarts for days, but not alot of common sense. Still, he stepped up to be right hand man when his best friend became the leader.
