Realistic or Modern The Selection

In the Kingdom of Idrid, the year you turn 18 you are shipped off to the King's castle. The law states the following:

In accordance with tradition, the King has declared that all persons who are to be 18 at the end of each given year will be brought to the castle in the month June of that year to partake in the Selection. No person may leave until they are married to another person in the Selection. If the numbers of boys and girls are uneven at the end, those left will remain in the castle as servants for the remainder of their lives. The event will be televised.


Setting: Your OC(s) arrive at the castle on the first day of the Selection. As most of you are poor, you will need to be prepped for the cameras. This means hair, nails, proper clothes, makeup, the whole ordeal. As soon as you arrive, you are ushered off into open rooms where your stylists will assist you.

Rules: There are not really a lot of rules. You can have any kind of sexually oriented relationship. If you have two OC’s, you cannot have a relationship with your other OC. Other than that, have fun! Please be literate and try your best to stay active!

Bio: Oliver grew up in a large family as the middle child. His siblings were rambunctious, so he preferred to find a quiet area in the house or garden to read to himself. He help his mother with the chores because his 2 brothers chose to work with their father and his 2 sisters were to young to help. Cooking with his mother became his favorite activity and he got rather good at it.
