Magical girls and boys have existed for ages, unseen by the public eye, but revered by the supernatural world. The magical are selected by creatures called Wraiths. Wraiths are creatures which serve higher beings. The Wraiths serve under god-like beings, who although are interested in Earth, are too lazy to select the magical on their own. Let's just say these god-like beings enjoy being surprised. There are a total of seven wraiths in the entire world. Each Wraith chooses the magical differently. Some choose randomly, others choose by appearance, and some by certain personality traits. Wraiths know they have a crappy job, so they try to amuse themselves however they can.
Surprisingly, for how little Wraiths there are, there are many more of the magical. The process of becoming a magical depends on the Wraith. Some Wraiths grant wishes, other force humans into abandoning their own lives, and one or two just ask nicely. It depends on the luck of the draw, really.
The purpose of the magical is to protect the world from monsters of different varieties. The god-like beings might or might not have ulterior motives behind protecting the world, but no one really thinks that far ahead. The magical get a variety of powers, some chosen randomly, some not. However, the magical are only created in places where there's an abundance of monsters. Monsters like to zero in on specific areas, mostly specific cities. Each magical is given a part of a territory to govern over. And while some work together, if a magical is killed, the territory automatically goes to the one who killed him or her.
Your magical journey starts in the large city of Natsu. A colossal threat is to emerge there within the next year. But some magical girls are more interested in obtaining more territory.

Luxuria
Luxuria grants whatever future magical it approaches a wish. Luxuria usually has a habit of seeking out future magical dealing with unrequited love.
Gula
Gula is a very rude Wraith. It forces humans into becoming magical by threatening to eat them.
Avarita
Avarita often seeks out poor humans, offering a hefty fortune in exchange for becoming a magical. If it approaches a rich human, it threatens to steal her money away. Avarita only deals with wealth.
Acedia
Acedia is much too lazy to even bother with forcefulness or wish-granting. Unless it's under a lot of stress to turn someone into a magical girl, it just asks.
Ira
Ira threatens humans into becoming magical. That's just it.
Invidia
Invidia doesn't discriminate in what type of person it looks for. It'll grant any human any wish.
Superbia
Superbia hates being denied more than anything else. It often lies to humans, saying it'll grant them a wish, but does no such thing.
More experienced magical will be more powerful. The first OCs made must already be magical. But I'd like a varied cast of newer and more experienced magical.
