Every generation, competing realms would send their best fighters in to a single-elimination martial arts tournament; the victor of the tournament is crowned Mortal Kombat Grand Champion. If a realm can garner ten straight victories via their Grand Champion or another representative of theirs, they earn the right to invade the opposing realm. The Grand Champion him/herself is granted stunted aging and immortality until the next tournament. This is the ONLY way for a realm to invade and conquer another.
The defending realm's fighters cannot be attacked by the opposing realm's fighters until the tournament begins.
Mortal Kombat, once declared, cannot be refused by either party.
These are the fundamentals of the Mortal Kombat Tournament.
This is a Mortal Kombat roleplay, but not a normal one. In this one we will be competing as all new kombatants. None of the canon kombatants, sons and daughters of the canons, or other characters that have already been created in the Mortal Kombat video games.
You will choose a faction and determine which world you will compete for, Earthrealm, Outworld, or Netherrealm.
Once the thread is created, there will be more information in the Overview tab including Factions, Sides, and Races. All of the information to create the perfect kombatant.
RULES (Not the Kombat rules.):
- This will be a moderately detailed roleplay with a post length of more than 2 paragraphs at minimum.
- You must have at least play Mortal Kombat [2011] and Mortal Kombat X [2015]. Playing the previous Mortal Kombat games are not needed.
- Other rules will be fleshed out once the roleplay has been created.
