Realistic or Modern The Merge

Shaking all of the nonsense out of his head, Azaiah read his schedule once more. Oh fantastic... Literature. Although he wasn't BAD with books and writing, it wasn't one of his favorite subjects... He liked math a whole lot better... With math, you get a solid answer that's either right, or wrong. With literature, you need to read over things about a thousand times, then get an answer that's halfway right. He trekked unenthusiastically down to the classroom the paper directed him to.

Tamara stands, cracking her back and walks back into the school, heading for literature. She figured she might be able to participate in this class. But hell. If she didn't would it really matter much? With a turn of her heel, she picked up her notebook from her locker and headed towards the classroom.

Kiel slipped into a side room before the teacher even arrived and opened all the windows. It was still really warm outside; he thought about how much later autumn seemed to come here compared to the Netherlands. For a minute or two, he leaned over the open window, watching people make their way slowly to class before sitting down at the piano stool and beginning to play.

Do you smell that? The smell of gasoline, diesel, oil, burnt rubber, smoke, soap and other toxic products? Good, welcome to auto shop.

The garage is way off to the side of the school, located in a small corner against a very high wired fence. The classroom is in a medium size room just off the garage. It's a dungeon looking room with car parts cluttered everywhere. Every wall is covered in hanging tools while each corner had an industrial grade equipment for cutting metal or bending it.

Normally, Valsa would sit in the middle of the classroom. But, in this class, Valsa is in the very front row in the first seat. She sits excitedly. So excited, in fact, if she had a tail it would be whipping around her like crazy.

The class is still filling up with students, mostly boys so far. These were Valsa kinds of people. Car junkies and enthusiast. Just by looking at them, Valsa can tell which type of vehicle each guy liked. From NASCAR to sport cars, to diesel trucks. There's even a guy who's into marine boats.

"This is going to be a great class," she says to herself.
