Mason yawned as he exited the shabby inn with the few things he owned on his back, he was ready to set off for the next town. He had word of a witch being held in Woodburrows dungeon, her burning at the stake was scheduled for tomorrow at nine Pm. He couldn't let that happen, he had good intel that she new knew things about the sword, and he needed all the info he could get, even if it meant siding with the enemy. He approached the gates of town, and saw the wooden pub nearby. "Might as well stop for a drink, it's gonna be a long day." He muttered, walking in and sitting on one of the many bar stools. "Whiskey on the rocks." He said to the bartender as he rubbed his temples.

"Little early for alcohol, don't you think." The bartender replied jokingly"

"Than why are you open." Mason replied harshly, normally he would be a complete different person, but he had no sleep the knight before, venturing to this town, and now he has to do the same thing to get to another one. You could say he was a little cranky.

Soul walks through the tavern with his pet Fenrir on his shoulder. He sits down next to Mason and Fenrir jumps onto the the table. "I'll take two waters." Says Soul. Fenrir walks on the table and looks at the man sitting next to Soul. "He seems angry." Says Fenrir telepathically to Soul. "Yeah I agree." Says Soul telepathically. Fenrir continues to stare at the man. "Is he really drinking so early?" Asks Fenrir telepathically. "Apparently." Says Soul telepathically not looking up from his water.

Audri rushed through the forest, Nui flying a few feet behind her. "Hurry up Nui!" Audri said, grinning at her little pet. She came to a stop at the edge of the forest to take a breath. Audri leaned against a tree and looked over a small village with mostly shabby wooden buildings. "Looks dreadful." She muttered to Nui. The small bat landed on Audri's shoulder and looked at the village, squeaking. "Shall we take a look?" Audri asked, a flourish in her voice. Nui squeaked excitedly. "If you say so." Audri said, sighing. She made her way down the hill and into the village, her dress flowing behind her. "Father would be so disappointed for us even looking twice at such a place." Audri mumbled. She held her head high as the villagers looked at her like she was an alien. In a way she was. Audri was used to fancy dresses and expensive mansions, and this shabby village was quite a disappointment in her opinion. She sighed as she came across a pub. "Who on earth would go into there?" Audri wondered aloud, scrunching up her nose in disgust. She was used to relaxing in her sun room whenever she was served a beverage of some sort. Audri shook her head and continued to walk, Nui hidden on her shoulder.

Mason finishes his whiskey, and looks up for the bartender. "Another shot please." He said now in a polite tone. As the bartender came near, Mason began to apologize, "I'm sorry sir, just too early in the day." He said smiling.

"Already forgotten." The bartender replied, smiling but clearly still annoyed. Slamming his second whiskey down on the bar, he got up and tossed some money near his empty glasses. "Woodhelm, here I come....can't let that information be lost forever." He thought to himself, as he passed Soul. "Nice cat." He said smiling as he exited the bar.

Fenrir jumps onto Mason's shoulder. "Who are you calling a cat?" Asks Fenrir in his smooth deep voice. "Fenrir calm down." Says Soul. "Hey he has information that you might want. He is going to Woodhelm just like us." Says Fenrir. "Well he doesnt have to tell us anything Fenrir." Says Soul. Fenrir jumps back onto Souls shoulder looking at Mason.

"I'm sorry, nice dog." He said laughing. "So you guys are going to Woodhelm too, what for?" He asked, hoping they wouldn't get in his way.

"No reason just for a vacation." Says Soul lying. "I already don't like him. He'll just get in our way." Says Fenrir out loud. "Fenrir shut up." Says Soul.

Audri continued to walk, ignoring the stares she got from the residents of the village. Nui squeaked softly on her shoulder. "What? Oh yeah I forgot why were in this town in the first place. We need supplies." Audri said. Nui squeaked again and pointed his wing at a weaponry shop not too far away. "I have to actually go in one of the buildings!" Audri said in disgust. Nui squeaked angrily. "Well I'm sorry. Jonathan thought I would be good for this task." She said as she entered the shop. Audri looked around at the armor and weapons hung on the wall. It was steaming hot and very small, making it hard for Audri to move around in her flowing dress. "Nui I really don't see what's wrong with my current sword." She said, taking her sword out of its sheath. Nui squeaked and Audri sighed and rolled her eyes. Just then the blacksmith came out to the front of the shop. "How can I help you ma'am?" He asked. He suddenly noticed the sword Audri was holding. "Now how on earth could a pretty lady like you get her hands on one of those?" He asked in amazement, moving towards the sword like it was a precious jewel. Audri backed away slowly. "Does everyone act this strange here?" She wondered as she backed towards the door.

"Wow, feisty kitten." He said smirking, "a vacation..really? I've heard the sewage there is very nice this time of year." He said, now with a full smile, knowing Woodhelm, is just a giant town, of black markets and slums, "well maybe I'll see you there." He added heading out the door..."and one last thing, I heard the stake burnings are fantastic there." He said, wondering if they where after what he was after.

"Yeah me too. I think we might check one out while we are there." Says Soul walking out the door. When he is walking down the street he looks inside the blacksmiths and sees a woman in a very elegant dress. He walks in and opens the door. "Ma'am are you lost? This isnt where you get jewelry." Says Soul.

Audri turned around to see a man enter the blacksmith's. "Excuse me?" She asked in an offended tone. She gathered her skirts up in her fists and Nui squeaked defensively on her shoulder. "I am not here for jewelry sir. Now if you'll excuse me, I find no sword fitting for me here." Audri said in a snobbish tone. The blacksmith looked disappointed. "Sir thank you for the help you didn't give me." Audri said before clearing her throat and putting her sword back in it's sheath.

"Wow your a stuck up snob. Okay I get it." Says Soul. "She annoys me." Says Fenrir. "Yeah snobs annoy me too. Apparently she has a terrible taste in weaponry as well. Especially if she finds her sword better." Says Soul.

Audri turned back around at Soul. "Sir I ask you not to talk trash about me behind my back." She said angrily. Nui squeaked on her shoulder. "Nui shut up! I don't need help to get to Woodhelm!" Audri muttered, annoyed.

"You think you could actually get to Woodhelm wearing that?'' Asks Soul laughing. "You couldnt make it anywhere without an escort. If you want help to get there im going there myself. But if your to good for me I understand." Says Soul.

"Yeah...." He said with a cocked head. He made his way out the town walls and decided, he still had some time before, he really needed to get going, he wandered throughout the thick woods near the town, and looks for anything that can feed him, until he's able to "come across" some more money. He comes to a clearing and sees a deer, in the distance, "great." He whispered, he begins to chant, and his skin starts to become see through, until he's completely invisible. Getting behind the deer, he pulls out his dagger, and pith precision, slits it's throughout, and begins cutting slabs of meat, "no this is a meal for kings." He said smiling. He, grabs an empty, small bag, and puts the venison inside. He sadly knows he has to walk back into town, to get them wrapped, or they will spoil quickly. Walking back through he sees the butcher shop, not to far away. Passing by he sees the man from before and a girl arguing. "Girls, girls, your both pretty." He said sarcastic.

Audri perked up when Soul said he was going to Woodhelm as well. "I plan on changing thank you very much." She said, loosing the snobby tone. "Maybe I should make friends... Just in case." She thought. Audri cleared her throat and shifted her dress skirts. "Yes of course you can tag along on my journey." She said, smiling kindly. Audri then noticed the man walking by. "Thank you sir." She said, ignoring his sarcasm.

"Yeah I agree you should make some friends." Says Fenrir. "Fenrir I already told you if you want to read someones mind say it in your mind not out loud." Says Soul. "But yes you can tag along on our journey.'' Says Soul.

Audri nodded curtly. "If you'll excuse me I'm going to go change into something more fitting for the occasion." She said, eyeing Fenrir curiously. Nui flew off of her shoulder, waiting for Audri to return as she changed. While waiting, Nui decided to start a conversation with their new traveling companions. He squeaked happily, making no sounds that indicated speaking english.

"Your both really going to Woodhelm? Well I guess it's a party." He said handing each of them slabs of deer meat, now nicely packaged. "I assume your all going for the witch." He said yawning, taking a swig of his flask."

Audri returned, now wearing a short skirt, leather knee-high boots, and a chain mail breast plate. She put her hands on her hips and turned to the stranger. "Honestly is everyone here going to Woodhelm?" She asked before sighing. Nui landed on her shoulder again.

Audri rolled her eyes. "That was my traveling dress. If you thought that was ridiculous, you should see my ballgown." She said.
