You've always been a bit different. Most of your peers engaged in pokemon battles since they were young; they excelled in the trainer academy. You, however, didn't. Your focus was never on winning (maybe only a little), it was always to be aesthetically pleasing to the eye, beautiful, coordinated. You combined attacks not only to win battles but to make a statement. And now, finally, you've found others like you.

The Rustboro Pokemon Contest will be an interesting one. There, you've come across something much more valuable than a contest ribbon: friends. You and five other trainers agree to travel across Hoenn with the same goal, to become Top Coordinators. To achieve this title, one must win five ribbons in order to enter the Hoenn Grand Festival. Winning the Grand Festival earns you the title of Top Coordinator and possession of the Ribbon Cup. However, only one trainer can win. Will it be you?


Essentially, these six trainers will travel across Hoenn and participate in 8 contests. Their goal is to gain five ribbons each, which raises the stakes, and gain entry to the Hoenn Grande Festival. There will be rivalry, drama, and romance. If this gathers enough interest I will make a character thread.

I don't believe I've read it or seen the answer yet, what level would we start off with In the Rp? And how many Pokémon? I think I've narrowed down the choice of Pokémon type (I often when doing Pokémon Rps, use a trainer that's a specialist in one type.) but might change my mind again.

I don't like using levels when roleplaying pokemon !! It'll be like the anime. And honestly, it's up to each rper how many pokemon a trainer has/how strong. I mean, there's obviously the limit of six per party. And as long as your character isn't overpowered, I don't care what their team is like. The Silent Z

Oh wow, awesome! Mandalay That should help decide things Pokémon wise. Kinda. Haha. I'll probably wait to see a Cs and base power level near or same as that to prevent OP character. Keep it similar to others and such.
