(We can discuss details beforehand or just start off)
It had been roughly a year and a half since the Icarus project had been shut down... and for very good reason. It was by far one of the least humane experiments ever performed on living creatures by a private organization. It all started when a few of the test subjects escaped, bringing with them the usual stress that one would imagine with there suddenly being mutated humans being sighted.
This lead to the founding of "The Order."
It was a small facility dedicated to taking in and helping the test subjects recover. Sometimes it was as easy as social work. And others... It required a lot more intensive care and examination. You're the head scientist of the medical team, your empathetic abilities making you perfect for the job. After taking on your latest case, you walk into the whitewashed examination room to find the subject laid against their back and restrained against the table, two magnificent feathered wings jutting out from beneath it. Despite everything that you had seen, this was definitely a first, creating some unique challenges as you try to treat its injuries and study it as a whole, eventually growing closer in the process
