President John C Antonius finished filing the papers. He looked out the window. Old communication stations and radar points were reporting activity. The world was awakening once again. His secretary walked in and gathered the paper. Three fleets were already sent out. They would land at Florida, Yucatan Peninsula, and Venezuela and begin expansion. He didn't like it, but the American Party would be happy that they'll be able to see Florida once again. He also authorized R&D to begin research in military. A few big contractors also began ship production. If the world was awake again, they needed to be ready for anything.


The three fleets arrived at Miami, Cancun, and Caracas. They radioed back and began conquering the nearby land.

The Invasion of Poland has commenced. The Wehrmacht crosses the border while the Kreigsmarine blocks off the polish coast, making it hard for another nation to invade the territory through the coast.

As the name Hitler was heard, a very subtle but noticeable shock went through the diplomats. They exchanged concerned looks momentarily but quickly returned to speaking. "Excellent. We can see that Germany has been quite prosperous even with such a great catastrophe. Is there a higher authority we can speak to for more official talks?"

The representatives respectfully stood. "We have come across the Pacific to investigate the possibilty of new nations and friends here. It is good to know that we are not alone in this great world."

New evidence suggested that there may even be nations closer to home. A squadron was sent to the Caribbean to investigate as a test run.

Soldiers and Missionaries who had been working in Colorado were now moved here. The rest of the state was brought under the control and protection of Deseret and conversion was also worked on.

The expansion into the old western border of russia was a success. Men were literally given the union's flag and would place them, in the deepest territory they got to. After the complete success of the expansion, there were four generals who would at this point be fully ready. Two would wait just outside of Belarus and Latvia, while one general took the route through Ukraine to form the territorial border, and the final general would be heading to estonia.

The rest of Scandinavia had finally been taken, uniting the Scandinavian countries under the Danish flag. The Northern Isles above Scotland have also been taken, further spreading Danish influence. In the mean time Josef was speaking to the Deseret pilot. "I am the prince of this country. If you wish to meet with my father you may, but he is busy in his study right now otherwise he would be standing here and not me."

Today we announce our Manifest Destiny of South America, and eventually all of Latin America. Today we send Scout Planes to North America, ready to interact with any possible friend, or our possible worst enemies..."

The missionaries looked distastefully at the bottle, but the head diplomat was better at masking himself. "Very good. Now, we propose three things: a trade deal, allowing our companies and governments to trade more freely, a defensive pact, and finally we wish to request that you allow our missionaries to come to your nation. It would give them great experience and allow for our cultures to mingle more easily."

The Deseret representatives seemed mixed, and the missionaries were especially unhappy looking. The lead diplomat, however, was better at his job and continued smiling. "This is very good. President Kelan was at work in his study, putting the last touches on his speech to be given that day. It was the start of both the Southern Expansion Initiative and the Contact Reestablishment Initiative. Many of the great speeches of Old American History had been written by the presidents himselves, and this he would do.


30 Minutes later, he was done, and told his Press Secretary to put out a notice that a public speech would be given outside the Presidential Residence that morning.


Outside the Presidential Residence, 10:00 AM


A large crowd gathered outside the Residence, closely watched by the Secret Service. Then, a man took the microphone "ladies and gentlemen, please welcome the President of the New Republic." With that, the doors swung open and a group of Secret Service agents walked out the door, behind them was the President. Hail to the Chief began to blare from speakers around the plaza and the crowd broke into applause and cheer. After a few minutes, they quieted down and Harold began. "People of the New Republic, I have two important announcements to make. First of all, we have new evidence that there may still be civilization outside of our own Republic and that of the Lakes. Several aircraft are taking off to Europe, Asia, South America, and even here in America herself. However, that is perhaps the lesser of two announcements, as today  for the first time in decades the Republic shall be expanding her borders!" At this, Harold had to stop as shocked and excited murmering gripped the crowd. After about two minutes, he leaned back into the mic "please, please calm yourselves." The assembled reporters and citizens quickly fell silent. "We have bold settlers currently working their way into the states of Virginia, West Virginia, and the District of Columbia. Yes, we are retaking the Old American capital. I cannot say yet if the seat of government will be moved there, we might after we have been consolidated more, today marks a new era in American history!"

All we ask for, if such a meeting were to take place, is that our diplomats be treated fairly and with respect and of course we shall honor the same principles. We await your response."

The French Empire has taken Sicily, Sardinia, Crete, the Balearic islands and a little under a third of the Iberian peninsula.

A massive landing party had already reached land and was setting up tents and clearing the city. The fleet at Miami spotted the squadron and sent a radio message on all channels. "This is the Caribbean Republic, you are entering the Caribbean Navy operation zone. Please identify yourself."

The fleet had landed and quickly expanded sending scouts and teams across the coastline. They had taken Nueva Esparta, Sucre, Monagas, and Delta Amacuro, former states of the long deceased nation. Forts and guard posts are being put up as supplies came in from the Islands. The scouts reported planes flying in from Brazil. A message was sent out from the main fleet. "This is the Caribbean Republic, you are entering Caribbean Navy and Army operation zones. Please Identify yourself."

The fleet had taken over Yucatan and Quintana Roo, former states of Mexico. A fort and guard posts were set up.

Over the Deseret Republic


A New Republic Plane was now flying over the desert, and the radio operator was listening intently, when suddenly static blared into his headphones.


"Hello, hello, this is the New American Republic, please respond, we have heard rumors of your existence, is anyone there?" @Fishman Lord

There was a military parade in red square, it was to represent Mikhail's achievements for Russia. It lasted for 2 hours, consisted of the reserves and some others, and a air show type event along with it. After it ended, regular life would resume within Moscow.


1,733 soldiers were selected over a list, and sent to saint Petersburg for elite training. It was expected that 700 alone might pass the training, while the others will be rejected and sent back to regular military duties.

The Emperor found the book not to his tastes but kept it, where, his son Grand Duke Hughe of Luxembourge and Belgium read it. He found it exactly to his tastes, answering all his questions about god. He converted, finding a Mormon pastor willing to do the conversion and take up residence in the Luxembourg Notre Dame Cathedral, where any Mormons wanting to come to France would be allowed freely in that area to worship and live, though the Emperor did raise security near those areas to ensure missionaries didn't leave the area and convert people. @Fishman Lord


The expansion into the Balearics, Crete, Sardinia, Sicily, and a third of the Iber Peninsula was successful.


The Emperor has ordered the Construction of new parts of Roma and the rebuilding of the mighty fortresses and other areas, planning for it to become a great city once more and an administrative center for Italia, also encouraging second and third sons with no jobs available to move to Roma.
