The 21st day of the 12th month. Year Genki-3
A day before the battle of Mikatagahara. The Tokugawa and Takeda mass for their eventually clash. Tensions run high as a contingent of the Oda Clan's soldiers is dispatched to aid the Tokugawa in their attempted conquest.
Ieyasu Tokugawa marches, expecting to crush an enemy fighting off two fronts, un-aware that Shingen Takeda, legendary tactician he is, has anticipated the march. The snow of the north has sealed off the Uesegi's advance on the Takeda. And now, from Hamatsu Castle, the Tokugawa's soldiers await the order to attempt to seize the city of Kofu from the Takeda. They are confident. After all, they have the greatest weapon of all history on their side: The rifle. The Takeda sit, perched in Kofu. Confident in their leader's thoughts. Some are worried, however. Surely Cavalry is no match for a gun.
