The end of peace
Around the 1400’s, three kingdoms stood tall against the sky. One, The Frost Kingdom, high in the mountains where it could touch the sky. The second, The Marchetti Kingdom, on the sea. Its ports used to trade with other realms. And the third, The Ratomik Kingdom, deep in the plains, where farmers sow their seeds.
At one time, these kingdoms stood strong together against the world. Their banners flew high and their soldiers fought with honor. Then in the 1500's, The Ratomik kingdom, under the leadership of their new king, rapidly attacked both of their allies, trying to conquer their kingdoms. This war tore any alliances between the three kingdoms and plunged them into a 150-year war.
In the year 1650, peace was found in the kingdoms. This temporary peace was honored for many years, and the kingdoms could rebuild. Then, in 1798, the Ratomik Kingdom developed black powder weapons. Wanting to use their new weapons, they attacked the Marchetti Kingdom without warning. The massive amount of bloodshed forced then-king Ramus Marchetti to yield his castle, to spare his family. In a massive counter-attack, the Frost Kingdom attacked the Ratomik forces and forced them back to their kingdom. A new peace was found in the loss, one led by The Frost Kingdom. The Marchetti and Ratomik kingdoms were set back in their place, and The Frost Kingdom closed their gates. Their forces returned home and did not leave again. Now, in 2023, the new century, The Frost King has died, rumored to have been poisoned. The Ratomik Kingdom denied their involvement and the Frost Kingdom, Led by Queen Vera Frost, refused to counter-attack, much at the displeasure of her son. He suddenly disappeared with his own personal guard, not to be heard from again. 5 years later, the Ratomik kingdom seems to be planning a fierce fight. Their King, Davis Ratomik, prepares their forces for war.
