What is known is that his only remaining family member is his mother, who is permanently hospitalized. This lead many to think that he killed his whole family except his mother, who survived the encounter. He has yet to dismiss this as he thinks its a simply answer that anyone can find out. His mother is the only one who discredits them, which is put off by supporters of the theory claiming she is afraid of him killing her.

Despite his family being slightly poor, his sociable attitude made him a lot of friends. He's basically popular during middle school! However, one friend really stood out the most. His Crush Zia Manilla, who studies at the same school with him. One fateful night, when the two were going from a hang out session, Daniel unlocked his Elemental when trying to protect Zia. Fast forward to 12th Grade of highschool, a pamphlet was handed out to him saying that he shall receive riches when he wins this tournament. Fire manipulation: At will Nala can create and control flames in a wide verity of ways. She can create flames anywhere within a radius of five yards from herself. At will Nala can alter the flames she creates in many ways, just a few being size and temperature and form. Attacks using fire or that have a flame element will not harm Nala. Nala's flames can take three different forms.


Flame of the incessant dreamer:

Nala's basic flames, red in color. These flames are directed connected to Nala's emotions. The stronger her emotional drive or desire is, the stronger the flames. In contrast to that, if her emotions are in a fragile or uncontrollable state, so will the flames be. The flames directly mirror Nala's emotions and can be put out by water.




Flame of the blue oni:

Nala's second tier flames, blue in color. These flames act exactly like the previous one, only these flames burn a bit brighter, dance a bit higher and hurt a heck of a lot more. Nala's blue flames are superior in every way compared to her normal flames. Only the blue flames cost much more energy to produce and control. Nala will burn out much quicker while using these flames so using them haphazardly will sooner degrade Nala then benefit her. Blue flames cannot be put out by water but can be snuffed out from a lack of oxygen.



Flame of the desolate king:

Nala's dangerous trump card, inky black in color. Without a doubt, Nala's strongest flames. They can burn almost anything absolutely and cannot be snuffed out by water or a lack of oxygen. It is a highly destructive flame that can spread quickly and catch on any substance. It radiates an overwhelming heat that can make flammable objects catch fire just from getting too close. The only draw back is how this fire also has incredible negative effects on Nala. Using it will drain Nala of his stamina in only a matter of seconds. Using it will also leave dramatic internal injuries more often then not incapacitating her for a few days at a time. It is also the only flame that Nala herself can also be burnt by. At most Nala can make three big attacks using this fire before she drops.

Personality


Due to being ostracized for so long, Nala is a loner by nature and chooses not to socialize with humans or otherwise. She has no problem helping other humans or creatures in need of help, but once she has helped she departs without saying a word. Nevertheless, to those whom she's acquainted with, she speaks bluntly and with lively personality. She can be easily roused into a passionate rant or into showing the more violent side of her otherwise calm personality. She uses a belligerent tone at almost all times and a tendency to always glare at everything gives her an intimidating disposition. She can be described as having a dubious personalty that can easily switch from friendly to threatening and back again. Her actions however show that in earnest she is a good person.


She remains very reticent about herself. When asked about her past, she doesn't answer with anything other than things akin to "I'm an ordinary health maniac who runs a chicken on a stick stand." However, she seems to happily listen to others talking. She presently seems to be very content with her life contrary to being commonly thought of having a pessimistic lifestyle giving her lack of electing to interact with others.


Bio/History


Long, long ago. When the world was young and people still used the inferior model of the IPhone, a young girl named Nala was born. Nala was a bit different from other children. She was born with a slightly higher body temperature then other infants. That, and she also came out of the womb on fire. From birth Nala had showed signs of having an elemental power. Nala's parents didn't know whether to be the proudest parents alive because there daughter was blessed with such a wonderful gift. Or if they should be freaking out because there child was on fire.


All her life, Nala had been training to use her power. She had known of things like the tournament for a while, but didn't find it necessary for her. She trained for years, learning to control her power just fine. As a young child she was seen as something of a miracle worker in her small hamlet. If anyone ever needed fire, Nala was the girl to ask. Giant bonfire? Just ask Nala. Cold winter? Nala's on the job. Didn't pay the gas bill? Nala can be the stove top to your frying pan. By the age of fifteen she invented her blue fire technique. She was regarded as a genius by her peers. By seventeen she discovered the flames of the desolate king, and things only went down hill from there.


By seventeen Nala only wanted more. Unsatisfied with her current abilities, she lusted after a higher peak. Nala spent days upon weeks upon months, looking for a new peak, a new horizon to reach. In good time, her work was met with success. Nala made the discovery of a black flame that burned all it came into contact with.


And burn it did.


Nala lost control. The power of the desolate king exploded within Nala, causing her to use the flames without control. Black sparks flew from her, burning everything it hit. It hit the street, and soon enough the black tar roads were replaced with a sea of fire. Homes quickly became consumed, turning into nothing, not even ash remained. In a single night, that small hamlet that Nala had called home was nothing anymore. When the flames settled the next morning, there was no trace of anything. A lone Nala stood among the ruin.

At will Nala can alter the flames she creates in many ways, just a few being size and temperature and form. Attacks using fire or that have a flame element will not harm Nala. Nala's flames can take three different forms.


Flame of the incessant dreamer:

Nala's basic flames, red in color. These flames are directed connected to Nala's emotions. The stronger her emotional drive or desire is, the stronger the flames. In contrast to that, if her emotions are in a fragile or uncontrollable state, so will the flames be. The flames directly mirror Nala's emotions and can be put out by water.




Flame of the blue oni:

Nala's second tier flames, blue in color. These flames act exactly like the previous one, only these flames burn a bit brighter, dance a bit higher and hurt a heck of a lot more. Nala's blue flames are superior in every way compared to her normal flames. Only the blue flames cost much more energy to produce and control. Nala will burn out much quicker while using these flames so using them haphazardly will sooner degrade Nala then benefit her. Blue flames cannot be put out by water but can be snuffed out from a lack of oxygen.



Flame of the desolate king:

Nala's dangerous trump card, inky black in color. Without a doubt, Nala's strongest flames. They can burn almost anything absolutely and cannot be snuffed out by water or a lack of oxygen. It is a highly destructive flame that can spread quickly and catch on any substance. It radiates an overwhelming heat that can make flammable objects catch fire just from getting too close. The only draw back is how this fire also has incredible negative effects on Nala. Using it will drain Nala of his stamina in only a matter of seconds. Using it will also leave dramatic internal injuries more often then not incapacitating her for a few days at a time. It is also the only flame that Nala herself can also be burnt by. At most Nala can make three big attacks using this fire before she drops.

Personality


Due to being ostracized for so long, Nala is a loner by nature and chooses not to socialize with humans or otherwise. She has no problem helping other humans or creatures in need of help, but once she has helped she departs without saying a word. Nevertheless, to those whom she's acquainted with, she speaks bluntly and with lively personality. She can be easily roused into a passionate rant or into showing the more violent side of her otherwise calm personality. She uses a belligerent tone at almost all times and a tendency to always glare at everything gives her an intimidating disposition. She can be described as having a dubious personalty that can easily switch from friendly to threatening and back again. Her actions however show that in earnest she is a good person.


She remains very reticent about herself. When asked about her past, she doesn't answer with anything other than things akin to "I'm an ordinary health maniac who runs a chicken on a stick stand." However, she seems to happily listen to others talking. She presently seems to be very content with her life contrary to being commonly thought of having a pessimistic lifestyle giving her lack of electing to interact with others.


Bio/History


Long, long ago. When the world was young and people still used the inferior model of the IPhone, a young girl named Nala was born. Nala was a bit different from other children. She was born with a slightly higher body temperature then other infants. That, and she also came out of the womb on fire. From birth Nala had showed signs of having an elemental power. Nala's parents didn't know whether to be the proudest parents alive because there daughter was blessed with such a wonderful gift. Or if they should be freaking out because there child was on fire.


All her life, Nala had been training to use her power. She had known of things like the tournament for a while, but didn't find it necessary for her. She trained for years, learning to control her power just fine. As a young child she was seen as something of a miracle worker in her small hamlet. If anyone ever needed fire, Nala was the girl to ask. Giant bonfire? Just ask Nala. Cold winter? Nala's on the job. Didn't pay the gas bill? Nala can be the stove top to your frying pan. By the age of fifteen she invented her blue fire technique. She was regarded as a genius by her peers. By seventeen she discovered the flames of the desolate king, and things only went down hill from there.


By seventeen Nala only wanted more. Unsatisfied with her current abilities, she lusted after a higher peak. Nala spent days upon weeks upon months, looking for a new peak, a new horizon to reach. In good time, her work was met with success. Nala made the discovery of a black flame that burned all it came into contact with.


And burn it did.


Nala lost control. The power of the desolate king exploded within Nala, causing her to use the flames without control. Black sparks flew from her, burning everything it hit. It hit the street, and soon enough the black tar roads were replaced with a sea of fire. Homes quickly became consumed, turning into nothing, not even ash remained. In a single night, that small hamlet that Nala had called home was nothing anymore. When the flames settled the next morning, there was no trace of anything. A lone Nala stood among the ruin.

Amazing application and amazing character! Not even going to lie when i first saw the picture i said to myself, "damn this girl kinda cute", then chuckled when i saw debatable after you put F. Either way this character without a doubt is a worthy contestant for the tournament.

He figured he try this "Elemental Tournament" as a publicity stunt.


Bio/History: Gerald had never had any kind of combat training whatsoever. He once considered taking karate after a mugging, but gave up the idea. He keeps a loaded .22 magnum in his boxer briefs at all times, even when he's sleeping. Filled with hollow-point, explosive bullets, this handgun could really pack a punch if Gerald knew how to use it. Starting out with a small loan of a million dollars, Gerald used his wits, and, eventually, his powers, to gain an advantage in a competitive economy. At the age of 18, a Russian killed his father, leading to his longtime hatred for Russia. However, he took the grief to heart and vowed to never take the life or harm another human being. He has decided that pacifism is the answer to the world's problems. Recently, he saw an advertisement for an "Elemental Tournament" in the newspaper and figured that with his power, it might be interesting to compete. He's probably never met any of the other contestants, unless they have connections in the business world.
