As long as its not classified as a one of a kind pokemon aka, a legendary, then its fine.

But there are plenty of legendaries that aren't unique

For the sake of variety and trying not to cause confusion and the such, the general rule when role playing gijinka is that there is only one of each. It is a rule that I've seen in all role plays that allow legendaries.


Also I'm pretty sure that they were asking about normal pokemon or megas, since we do have a reserve list for legendaries in the character thread.
