Realistic or Modern The Apartment on13th Street

"Mm, yes, who would think the little fella can get so big in there? And... we're done stairs, thank god." Sarah sighed in relief as they finally made it to the fourth floor. Directing Angela down the hallway to where her apartment was, she was caught off guard when she found the door slightly ajar and unlocked while the cat sat comfortably on the welcome mat. Even when they were home, the door was never unlocked, let alone left open. Nathan himself made a point to always have it shut because he complained about the noises from the hallway (Even though she couldn't hear anything unless someone happened to walk past their place). What had him in such a rush that he forgot to close the door? These questions swirled in her head, but she pushed them away for the moment.

"That's weird... I can't see why he left the door unlocked." she says, more to herself than Angela, but none the less opens the door fully and sees the two of them in. "You can come in too, if you'd like- Nathan's not here to kick you out." she tells the cat, leaving the door partially open for it as they enter. "Please, sit- you must be sore." she tells Angela as she motions to the couch.

As she sat down on the couch, Angela breathed a sigh of relief. "Thank you." She said as she relaxed herself a bit. She then took her boots off and went to set them by the door before sitting back down, her feet feeling relieved as she took them off. She then took of her hair tie as well to let her hair down. She took a deep breath before holding her stomach, though not as protective like she was down in the lobby.

Kurt smiles and follows the two into the flat, glancing at the door and making it close quietly behind them. In the flat he isn't sure what to do, he'd never spoken to the Sarah girl before and both women seemed to think he was just a normal cat. One of the perks of hanging out with Julian he guessed. Knowing he didn't shed like a regular cat, Kurt made his way over to the couch where the pregnant woman was and jumped up next to her, purring and glancing at her belly curiously. Children were always a mystery to him, and even now that it wasn't quite a full baby yet, it didn't help solve and of the questions he had.

Angela saw the cat jump right next to her and looked at him momentarily. It was the same one that circled around her and kept staring at her stomach down in the Lobby. When he started purring, she assumed that he wanted attention. She found that a bit odd because there was no way a cat that she just practically met could be jealous of the unborn baby. Angela did take into account that some animals get jealous of their owners when they are expecting because the baby will be getting all of the attention instead of them. Hopefully that wasn't the case with this cat. To satisfy his attention need, Angela decided to pet him, in particular gently scratching behind his ears, as most cats and other animals that interact with her liked that. When he started staring at her stomach, Angela started feeling a little awkward, because he was glancing at it as if it was food or something. Or at least that's what she thought.

"Hm, anyone would need a rest after that hike." Sarah replied, closing the door once the cat chose to enter. After hanging up her jacket and slipping into her old slippers, she moves to the kitchen, where she turns on the kettle before starting to unpack the groceries. "How do you like it here so far, the building and such? Everything's working ok in your apartment?" she asked casually while putting her eggs and vegetables in the fridge. She hoped that Angela hadn't had any issues, but more so she was curious of her impression of the place, and some of its more... eccentric features.

"Its a fairly interesting place to stay. I like it here so far. Well, besides that one neighbor...Everything just seems...Well, relaxing. Only problem I have right now is Nightmares, but that's kinda normal. I have bad dreams time to time, every other week or so on average. Though lately, its been more...frequent." Angela responded. She continued to pet the cat sitting next to her and rested her free hand on her swollen belly before smiling at the cat.

Kurt purred happily and let the woman pet him, enjoying the scratching behind his ears. He listened in on the conversation, and forced himself not to ask what type of nightmares she was having. There could always be some little, low-level demons following her, but that was just mean and if Kurt had a say in it, he'd tell them to piss off. Making a mental note to check on it later, Kurt meowed once more quietly then hopped off the couch. He wasn't really being of any use anyway, so he figured he'd go see how Kora and Jamie were. He quickly ran out of the room before either woman could follow him and as he got to the door, he made his cat form dissapear into thin air.

Kurt streched once he was back in his natural state and lazily put his hands in his pockets and made his way down the stairs and to Jamie's flat. He didn't bother using the door, just kinda passing through it, but he did knock. It had become habit ever since he accidently walked in on some less than G rated activities, but he doubted Kora and Jamie would be... well, be doing that. After a glance around the flat Kurt spotted them and smiled, walking over. "Hey guys. I'm surprised that you're both in one piece still, considering the shouting match earlier," he said, half decently pretending to be honestly shocked.
