  Serenity is an incredibly smart girl with a nice head on her shoulders. She's very good with tactical thinking and strategies, and uses her small figure to her advantage. Her stealth skills are quite high and she knows how to conceal herself very well. Her weapon(s) of choice are throwing knives, though she also knows how to manipulate electronics in destructive ways. She is from the electronics district, after all.

  Serenity grew up in the electronics district, and isn't used to being out in the wild at all. Around there it's all factories and technology. Being thrown into an unfamiliar environment definitely is a weakness. But, she has another weakness even worse than that - the fact that she's Albino. The sun is her worst nemesis, and she has to try her best to avoid it at all costs. She always wears a cloak to do so, shielding all of her being.

  Serenity was born around sixteen years ago, and it was quite hard growing up as the "albino girl." She had to remain isolated and indoors for most of her life due to her continuous war with the sun, and not only did this result in her not gaining many friends, but it also resulted in her not spending much time with her parents. They always worked in the engineering factories, and they rarely came home to see Serenity. Still, Serenity felt slightly comforted that at least she had parents... Until she didn't.
  
  
  There was an accident at the factory that took many lives, and Serenity's parents were among the many who perished. After that, she would be lying if she said she wasn't effected. She was left in tormenting despair, though she tried her best not to show it. As she was sent to her grandmother and taken under her wing, she began to feel rather... Emotionless. Though she wanted to thank her grandmother for taking her in, she couldn't even muster up the will to smile. Thankfully, her grandmother understood.
  
  
  Serenity's grandmother was a very kind elderly lady, and she even made Serenity a cloak so she could go outside and attempt to socialize. However, Serenity's extensive white hair, extremely pale skin, and nearly colorless eyes tended to intimidate people. Even though she was finally able to leave the shelter of the indoors during the daytime, she still couldn't seem to work on her social skills in the slightest. Serenity began to believe that she was just meant to be alone.
  
  
  In her solitude, she decided to practice many things. She began to enhance her electronic skills, practicing making mines and other explosives. She also found that her weapon of choice was bound to be throwing knives - they seemed to just call to her. Serenity knew very well that the Reaping would never stop coming around, so she figured she might as well be prepared if her name was ever called. And, soon enough, it was.
  
  
  It was right after her grandmother passed away that Serenity was reaped. Seeing as she now had nothing left to lose, she willingly went, not even putting up a fight against the Peacekeepers as they dragged her to the stage. Although some would say Serenity had nothing left to live for, she didn't believe that in the slightest. She had herself to live for, and she couldn't deny the fact that - in the deepest depths her heart - she was still hoping for a chance to truly live.
  
  
  She wasn't going to let these cruel games take that slight hope away from her - whether the odds are in her favor or not.
• How would you describe her as a person?
  
  
  Serenity is a very peculiar person, and she tends to be quite difficult to read. She's known to be quite emotionless at times, and she seems to react quite nonchalantly to everything. Hell, you could probably stab her and she'd barely even wince. After Serenity's parents died, something changed deep inside her. Perhaps it was the fact that she had to deal with tragic loss - or maybe it was the fact that she never really knew them to begin with - but she found herself building invisible barriers all around her.
  
  
  Serenity has always tried to be kind, however. Perhaps not in the way a normal girl would be, being that she rarely talks and her compassionate gestures are eerily silent, but she still tries. Though the people of her district never really fancied her, she still tried her best to not seem as bitter. Serenity may not show it much, but she does possess a very soft, fragile, and good heart. Killing others is never something she's wanted to do, but in this world, you have to be good at it if you expect to survive.

Skills: As a Career tribute, Nate has been trained as a fighter. While he’s good with weapons and combat, he’s focused less on situational survival, hunting, crafting, ect. but still knows the basics enough to support himself. He specializes in close combat, and was trained in martial arts as part of his training.


Weaknesses: His weakness is largely in his ability to deal with people. Nate’s personality is quite capable of making enemies, especially within own group. A verbal challenge could easily lead to a physical response from Nate, putting him in danger of being overwhelmed.





Personality:


As a child, Nate was soft hearted and weak bodied, giving him low self-confidence; despite this, he was still shyly determined. Wading shallowly in depression at the time, he was moody and sullen. In an attempt to motivate him, his parents would have him watch recordings of the previous Hunger Games, instilling his violent disposition at an early age. Homeschooled until the venerable age ten, he was the kid who no one remembered in class because he never made conversation or friends. Sitting in the back of class, it was in this time that a hateful core welled inside of him. Subconsciously, volunteering for the Hunger Games was as much for the rewards as it was an opportunity to destroy people, of which he loathes.


After his sister’s failure to win the Games, the latent malignant intent could be expressed more freely through his training. He became an openly aggressive soul, loud voiced and brazen, he will go to no end to intimidate and become top dog. His plan going into the Hunger Games is to rally a group of followers, hopefully doing to them what he believed the tributes had done to his sister years ago. For this, he has spent hours in the mirror, practicing a variety of scowling, intimidating faces. In his eyes, he’s the best at virtually everything, so joining him would be an honor and privilege to those he will allow it.


But he’s a different breed of coward from his sister, Nate is painfully afraid of dying, and will push those he’s aligned with down to escape such a fate. It’s this cowardice that puts his original plan in jeopardy. Deep down, he’d still a terrified child, and covers his insecurities with a façade of loud orders. In actuality, he’s very socially awkward, and has no real idea how to run a group. Second guessing himself at every turn, a challenge of his authority is likely to trigger a strong physical response, as he has no idea how to fight verbally.


Nate often comes across as jeering, especially to those he views as weak. Any tributes from districts 11 or 4 are automatically placed in this category, due to the grudge he holds surrounding his sister.


While he likes to think of himself as stone cold, it’s possible for love to sneak up on the unsuspecting boy.





Biography:


Born into the world and quickly named after Thanatos, a Greek God of death, his parents had high expectations that he would live up to his name if the opportunity arose. Five years a junior to his sister, Nyx, he had always admired her, making her his role model with her straight back and focused eyes. Nate came into the world as an ill child with no motivation to surpass his ailments until his sister’s teasing became too much. She would sit on the porch, telling him what an embarrassment he was going to be to his family, that his parents would feed him to bears rather than let the village see his incompetent face. As a highly impressionable seven year old, he believed every word and began taking walks and building his strength, desperate and angry to prove his sister wrong. By the age of ten, he was as able as any other child, allowing him to attend school at that time. In school he hardly made himself known, watching from the back of class.


On the reaping day for the 49th hunger games, 13 year old Nate filed into the auditorium for the second time, expecting the usual process to take place without a hitch. When the representative sang out “Nyx Lucan”, it was a great moment of pride, despite it being a simple strike of luck. Nyx was respected enough that she kept her spot, a rare occurrence in District 2, and she was collectively cheered on. Though he’d never admit it, at the time she was still what he aimed to be. Fearless, courageous, skilled, ultimately she was strong. The strongest. The idea that she’d loose was so obscure it hardly crossed his mind. It was the forth day in the arena that she died, her throat slit by a knife. Dying in battle wasn’t the worst fate, it was forgivable, but her reasoning was far from. Nyx had befriended a small group of fellow tributes, two of which were from district 4, and the third from district 11. Fleeing from an ambush, the group took cover in a ravine. Quickly cornered, Nyx stayed behind, offering her own life in sacrifice for her friends.


This quaked Nate’s world, the notion of friends over victory was so obscene even thinking of it made his head hurt. How dare she call him weak when she was such a shortcoming? His parents were humiliated, his family brought to shame. His sister’s pathetic behavior made him think twice about those he admired, acting up in school and challenging the teachers. Nate’s newfound brazenness gave his parents an idea, dropping him from school to instead be trained by the Capitol as a Career, his father using his job in the government to get him into the best training camp available.


The camp was indeed the best, but also the harshest. The very first day, Nate was pushed in the mud, suddenly the same weakling he was as a child. Determined, he picked up the skills quickly, being invited into the inner, “popular” group. He wanted nothing more than to be the leader of this group, but his low starting point made that impossible. Instead, he became close friends with Roel Erdmann, the current holder of that spot.


Many years of grueling, blistering, taxing training later, Nate stands in the auditorium once more. 18 years of age, it’s his last chance. His last chance to clear his family’s name, the last chance to prove himself, the last chance to put his training to use. In his eyes, he worked harder than anyone else. He deserved it more than anyone else. When Roel’s name was drawn, he pushed aside the friendship, he wasn’t his sister, and he’d never be his sister. Raising his hand, he volunteered, betraying his friend’s trust with a cold gleam in his eye. He was going to win, and that wasn’t up for debate.

Volunteered, originally, Cero's older brother was picked, but Cero became jealous when he heard his brother's name get pulled. Ethan always got everything he wanted, Cero wanted the attention on him for once and volunteered himself. And, of course, as a career, Cero's trained all his life to be able to make do with almost anything, turning even a simple pebble into a deadly weapon.


Skills:


Due to his rather smaller stature, Cero is agile and quick, relying on trickery to murder than brute strength. Intelligent and cunning, Cero's an extreme strategist and tends to use everyone around him as a pawn in his little game of chess. He also has great eyesight, able to spot things from afar and see even the tiniest of details.


Weaknesses:


He tends to get too attached to things - or people - and when the item - or person - of his attachment is in danger, Cero will often rush in to save them. Another one of his weaknesses would be defence, Cero has a lighter build and cannot withstand such large attacks.


Personality:


A rather calm and cunning young man, Cero is not the right guy to play around with. He makes up his lack of strength with intelligence and trickery. A master of illusion, Cero tends to put his victims into a state of fear before obliterating them completely. Quite the fan favourite, Cero is very charismatic, getting him a lot of sponsors. He knows how to act to get more items from his fans that are watching him. Cero's heart has hardened in preparation of the Hunger Games, but he's still vulnerable to fall in love or make real friends, and when that happens, Cero is very reluctant to kill them. Sometimes there will be times when Cero actually shows the human side of him with a few random acts of kindness, he's not this violent, Cero just wanted the attention on him for once.


Biography:


Born in District 1, the district in charge of luxury items, Cero was always overshadowed by his older brother, Ethan. Always doing his best to get this parents' attention, Cero excelled in his career training very much, using trickery instead of brute strength and speed. No matter how hard he tried, everyone's attention was always on Ethan. When he turned twelve, Cero began to plan the day he would be reaped and enter the Hunger Games, he planned everything all the way down to the most smallest detail. It was the biggest trap of all. Finally, when he was sixteen, Cero began to put his actual plan into action, already prepping everyone around him, using them all as little pawns in his game. Cero even calculated what name would be picked in the drawing after studying the announcer's hand in many of the previous pickings, examining how it moved and picked the papers up. He was prepared to be chosen and put his name in only once, knowing that he would be reaped after many years of strategy. But, it all messed up when a young girl was killed before the reaping, messing up all the


calculations Cero had done. In the end, Ethan was picked, and Cero's only chance was to volunteer himself because he would never get another chance like this again. It was also the perfect excuse to gain fans, "I didn't want my brother to get hurt." And so, Cero was taken to the capitol.


Appearance: Cero's below the average height, about 5'4, but it makes him fast and agile, he can hide in places you would never dream of, but why would he hide? He has dark raven hair and somewhat pale skin, the only thing that really stands out are his bright fuchsia eyes. They say that his eyes haunt you into the afterlife after Cero kills you.

( Poppy volunteered as tribute for a twelve year old boy she worked with as a weaver. It was his first year entering his name, and her last. Knowing how poor his family was, she threw her hand up and volunteered. )


Skills:


( Being born in the textiles district Poppy knows how to stitch quickly, making it easy for her to stop the flow of blood and seal wounds. Being from one of the poorest districts, she also knows how to live off of practically nothing. Thanks to her father she has been trained with throwing knives and needles. Close to having a photographic memory Poppy can absorb knowledge and retain it. This may be her key to survival in the training period before the Hunger Games. )


Weaknesses:


( District 8 is an industrial waste land, no forests, grass, wildlife of any kind. This means Poppy is at a disadvantage, with no training on how to survive wild terrain. She is also quite thin, so any one bigger or stronger can easily over power her. District 8 tributes are known for dying within the first 24 hours, this is a hard fact to live with, psychologically Poppy has deemed herself a dead-man walking. Thinking you are going to die is not exactly the type of attitude you want.)


Personality:


( Growing up in a poor district has made Poppy grateful for everything, she is not one to complain no matter what she happens to be going through. Poppy comes off as meek and timid, but she hides her inner strength for advantage. Hiding her real personality is her secret weapon, often times she fakes being a weakling to fool others. Underneath she is quite calculating, being a weaver has given her attention to detail and quick thinking. She may show compassion for those younger than her at times, but part of the reason Poppy volunteered was to show that district 8 is not weak and will dominate the field when given the chance. )


Biography:


( Poppy was born eighteen years ago on a horribly cold December night. her mother was weak, cold and malnourished. It is a wonder that Poppy was born anything but dead. She was raised by a single father as her mother died in childbirth. Her father never held the young girl responsible for her mother's death, and instead treated her like a gem.


At the young age of seven Poppy started working as a weaver to bring what little money she could home, although her father never wanted her to have to work. Starting as a weaver at such a young age created a small gap between herself and other children her age. Although many of them happened to work she was one of very few who chose not to be a dress-maker. This was often the choice of ridicule from boys as she was not a typical female, however she could not bear to be in the same job as her deceased mother.


Poppy being as precious as she is to her dad, it drove him to do what very few do for their children. At nine years old he began to train her, it began with how to staunch and stitch wounds, and ended with the ability to throw knives and needles. Unfortunately the industrial terrain did not allow for her to learn to survive in the wild, Poppy has never touched grass in her lifetime. This was a concern for her father but he was powerless to do anything but give her as much information and preparedness as possible.


Her father became a teacher a year after she was born a lucky event, as the lack of jobs in district 8 was and still is a serious problem. At the age of 13 her ability to absorb and retain knowledge became apparent, this was chalked up to her father working as a teacher.


For years and years Poppy has watched her district crumble under it's population and lack of employment. No one teaches combat or survival in the textiles district, from 12-17 she watched tribute after tribute fall within the first day of the Hunger Games.


This was the driving force behind her volunteering as tribute. Since childhood she has wanted to teach her people that they must prepare themselves, and that there are ways to help their children survive. Although it absolutely broke her heart to see her father's face as she thrust her hand in the air, Poppy must prove something. To herself and to the Capitol. That her district will no longer be looked at as the weaklings. )

When Daniel wasn't with his friends or helping his father he was in his room lost in his stories which he loved to write. He knew that he could never be a writer but he still enjoyed doing it.

District: 11, agriculture.


Reaped or Volunteered: Harriett volunteered for a 13 year old girl who was the sister of her best friend.


Skills: Coming from the district that farmed and harvested food, Hare knows how to climb and get around without being seen or heard. She knows how to survive off of the land due to learning what is not poisonous. Another skill of hers is her speed. She was used to run messages between the orchards in times of emergency. A quick learner.


Weaknesses: She is weak and thin. You could toss her around like a rag doll if you had a nice grip on her. Hare isn't very good at being ruthless and will help anyone who asks.


Personality: Hare has always been soft-spoken and gentle, a peacekeeper of the actual definition. She likes to keep things calm and hates fighting. Because of that she has always hated the Hunger Games with a fiery passion. A very nature-inspired person, Hare loves animals and being outside. Having the harshest peacekeepers of the districts, she learned from an early age to keep her mouth shut and eyes down unless she had a valid argument, which was usually never. The girl is a bookworm and would get her hands on any reading material she could. Because of her desire to learn, Hare can pick things up rather quickly. She is also merciful, being known to help anyone out, even peacekeepers.


Biography: Hare spent her life living with her mother and father in a home with another family. That family had two daughters, one her age and practically her sister and the other two years younger than her. Their parents worked in the orchid and so did the children and her after school. Staying out of the peacekeepers' way, they lived happily though deep in poverty. At the reaping, her friend's sister was chosen. Before she had even thought about it, Hare volunteered. She was visited by the family as well as her own and was told they were very grateful for what she did.


Appearance: (Preferably anime pictures, please. ) Hare is a very short and slender girl, often being mistaken for a twelve year old. She has curly ringlets of caramel brown hair and chocolate eyes, only adding to the doll-like appearance that many people underestimate. It does help her charm people into believing she's this sweet innocent little girl though.
