  Backstory:
  
  
  Johnny has some anger problems. He grew with a father who believed men were men, and women were beneath them. At the age of nine, his father caught him wearing one of his mother's skirts. It ended with a broken arm, and plenty of bruises. After nearly a full hour of coaching, his father took him to the ER, where his son smiled through tears and told the doctor that he'd fallen from a tree.
  
  
  It was the day that Johnny learned he had to hide who he was, and how he presented himself to the world.
  
  
  Since entering the foster system, and being placed with a very open-minded family, he's managed to come out of his shell quite a bit. It was nearly a full year in, after countless fights with his foster brother, and several physical altercation with his foster father (all started by Johnny, and all ended by his foster father) that he realized they weren't going to throw him away, nor were they going to snap and treat him like his bio father had.
  
  
  It was then that he tearfully confessed his love for 'girly things'. How he longed to wear a skirt, how he loved the color pink, how he wanted to do his nail and wear jewelry.
  
  
  He'd expected anger, disgust, and fists. He'd expected to be kicked out.
  
  
  Never had he expected acceptance.

Personality: For a while there was a rumor going around that Harlow took an entire sheet of acid when he was twelve and that's why he's the way he is. But the truth is he was just born like this- spacey, goofy, and just kind of a mess. Sure, he's taken acid a few times and the copious amounts of weed he smokes probably doesn't help but mostly it's just how he is.

• Lazy- Harlow's perfectly content to just let life happen and not contribute much besides the odd joke.

He's barely passing his classes, maybe because he sleeps through most of them, and he isn't exactly the kind of guy you'd have a conversation about history with. He's just never really seen the benefit of being super smart.
  

Background

History: Harlow was born on the wrong side of the tracks and it turns out it's not as bad as it sounds. The only child of two working class parents he grew up without a lot of money but it never bothered him much- he spent most of his time with running around the small park in the trailer park where he lives or in the woods behind it. There were always plenty of kids around and Harlow felt like he had a pretty good life. He was carefree and in love with the world.


Nobody would call Harlow popular, but his position as the school's main supplier of illicit substances has earned him a certain amount of respect. The popular kids may see him as some low class dirtbag, but they still invite him to their parties because they need him there.

  History: Kendrick grew up in the foster system being he was born to teen parents who couldn't care for him. He was bounced around between houses for awhile but has now found his real home. Most of the foster homes in lived in were your standard home, the kids were treated well, obvious favorites were played. Kendrick honestly, loved all of his past homes and hated the fact he had to get moved around so much, mainly because of fostering licenses running up.
  
  
  He is currently living in a home with a single dad. He has become quite close with his foster dad. His dad always supports Kendrick, even though he isn't too happy with some of his choices. However, he knows he cannot force his son into doing things he doesn't want to do. Kendrick loves to stay in his room and draw whatever it is he sees outside or while he's out walking.
  
  
  He is now living stably and happily. He likes the idea of going to school on a regular basis and seeing familiar faces as opposed to being thrown into a new school every other year or so. Kyler has a lanky build at 5'9 and 136 lb, with brown almost Amber eyes that he often outlines with eyeliner and eye shadow. He also has light tan skin clear of any scars and takes efforts to keep it that way. Black hair with white highlights falls a little past his shoulders and it's common for him to spend a lot of time styling it. However it's his ever changing style and somewhat androgynous face that catches most eyes. He likes to wear dark colors and seems to have his own style.

Personality:

Kyler is rather peculiar. He has a strange belief in the butterfly affect and often tests it leading to a positive yet somewhat dark view on life. He also tends to be rather cheerful, quirky, and friendly despite his stereotype though few actually manage to become his friends as they either think he is to weird or he thinks they are snobs. He also likes to scare people and actually tends to know a lot of what goes on in the school. Yet, don't let this fool you as he has a sharp wicked tongue he isn't afraid to use(which makes his enemies think he's a Bitch), doesn't care What others think of him, and tends to stick mostly to his own group. Its usually only to them he shows his passionate side toward. Rather it's his secret artistic passion he inherited from his mother or his passion toward anything he tries.

Snobs, idiots, moving, unnecessary violence, and being told how to act.

Background

History:

Kyler's father is in the army and he met Kyler's mother during a trip to Germany. They married and had Kyler. Kyler spent his younger years moving from place to place. At first he tried to make friends and believe his father told the truth when he said they wouldn't move again but it grew harder to do so as he grew up. He picked up many quirks and languages from different cultures and countries and as a child was thought of as fascinating but as he grew up it was changed to weird as teenagers became mean. His mother's passion for art and fate didn't help as he seemed to inherit it. It caused him to hang out with other army brats rather then the native kids and he began to not care anymore. He grew bitter and became good at istancing himself.

His mother hated seeing Kyler like this so when a chance came up for the family to settle his mother practically forced his father to do so even though it caused him to resign to a lower position. Kyler moved to town at 14 and at first hated it. He was thought of as strange and there wasn't many army brats around to hang out with. It took a while for him to truly believe it was the last time and he was still slow to make friends. Eventually he did so and the other kids adjusted to his quirks.

Kyler has stopped being bitter and began embracing his strangeness. He still has trust issues and dislikes when to many things change at once but he has adjusted. He has became more confident and his relationship with his father has healed as he learned to cherish his childhood and experiences.

Personality:

Clarke has a serious love of books and she is rarely seen without a book in her hand or in her bag. She rather stay home and read then go to a party any night of the week. Typically she doesn't really socialize with others. During lunch, she is typically in the library with studying or reading a book. When anyone talks to her she is a complete sweetheart and no one has ever really seen her mad or upset. Some people would describe her as all sunshine and rainbows, but that's not the case, there is nothing wrong with being happy or just okay with life.

The people who are close to Clarke, will see that she is about the best person you can trust with your secrets, since she won't tell a soul. She is pretty nice to everybody and doesn't necessarily hate anybody. Yet, even if she does dislike someone, they would never know since she won't show even a sign of it. She is a straight A student and is most of the time home. Either being the typical teenager and watching Netflix or being a bookworm and reading. She wears little to no make-up except for dances, or special occasions. Even though she isn't that artsy she does love taking artsy photo of simple everyday object. Every picture has a story behind it no matter how simple, or complex. She won't however be walked all over in the sense that she will most likely play hard to get with anything. She will do what people ask if her but not to the extreme.

History:

Clarke grew up in a very wealthy family with two older sisters and two younger sisters. Ever since she was young, she had a love of books. It always took her to what felt like other worlds and she sometimes completely forgot the reality she lived in. Her two older sisters, Kayla and Julie, always tried to get her into music and fashion but it never worked due to the fact all of that stuff made her bored to death so she would always escape and go back to her reading her. Clarke was always extremely close to her oldest sister Julie due to the fact she was like her second mom. Every time Clarke was sick or had to stay home from pre-school or kindergarten, Julie would always take care of her. Anytime Clarke had a nightmare she would always go to Julie and she would let Clarke sleep with her for the rest of the night. Ever since Clarke was born, Julie just was always there for her and took care of her when her mother was working or needed time to herself. It broke Clarke's heart when Julie went off to college since she wasn't going to be around as much anymore. When she was in 8th grade, her youngest sister, Abby, was born. She treated Abby the same way that Jullie had treated her. Cared for her, and took care of her when her mother couldn't. Clarke loves everyone in her family, it's just she's extremely close to her oldest sister, and her youngest sister.

When Clarke started middle school, she learned real quick that she was an outcast and she was in the "nerd" group but she survived with that being what she was known for. When she met Kendall, she was just in the library and they almost became friends instantly. They would do everything together and they were best friends all through middle school. People knew them as the best friends that were joined at the hip and they loved each other like sisters. Even when the fights did happen, they were awful. They would say awful things to each other, then they wouldn't talk for weeks at a time. Once they both got over their pride, they would say sorry and then try to fix things between them no matter how shattered or broken things were. They would always find a way. Clarke held all of Kendall's secrets and Kendall held all of Clarke's secrets. They wouldn't tell a soul eachothers secrets no matter what. They would always hang out on the weekends and they were a packaged deal. You wouldn't get Clarke without Kendall, and you wouldn't get Kendall without Clarke. That's all why Clarke was devestated when she found out they weren't going to high school together.

She had always known that there was trouble with Kendall's family, but it escalated and Kendall's parents were getting a divorce. They were originally going to go to the same high school but then Kendall was going to move to Tennessee with her mother. They talked every so often but then they lost contact. She hasn't heard from Kendall in 4 years.

When high school started, Clarke was still in the same social class "nerd" but to be more specific, "bookworm." Clarke wasn't surprised and she dealt with it like she had in middle school but she didn't have a best friend like Kendall. Clarke is the girl that's always in the library with her lunch, either studying or reading. When she goes home, she typically does homework, then either reads or watches Netflix like a normal teenager. Everyone she talks to, thinks she's a sweetheart and she shows no negative emotions. All sunshine and rainbows, but there is nothing wrong with a girl that chooses just to be happy with her life. Now it's her senior year and Prom is around the corner. She didn't know how she possibly got nominated for prom queen but she did. There's no way she's going to win since she's up against the schools power couple. Right?

PERSONALITY

Personality: There's always an odd air when it comes to Maxine. She can be so quiet and uncomfortable when she's interacting with others, but once she hits the stage, everything about her changes. She becomes this very bubbly, delightful person. Being talented, and excelling in all her classes, she is usually seen as the nerdy type. She has the big glasses to match, and the awkward personality. It's likely if someone isn't in her Theatre class, they haven't seen her socialistic side.


Despite being a great student, she's still human. Maxi is almost always a bit down. She struggles mentally to keep her head in the game and not get distracted by her constant changing emotions. Maxine suffers from an almost chronic case of depression. This was triggered by her parents disowning her when she came out to them. When she moved in with her aunt, she became a little more happier, but there's always damaged done when the ones who should love you unconditionally don't.


Likes: Spiders, Cats, Drinking coffee 24/7, Dancing, and a big fan of Cranberry Juice.

Talents: She's a singer, and an actor(obviously), and loves writing poetry. She can also play the piano.

BACKGROUND

History: When you move around constantly, life can get a little tough. Maxine only recently moved to upstate New York with her Grandmother. She had always lived in cool, breezy California, but when he mother and father kicked her out she had nowhere else to go but to her Grandmothers. She was only fifteen when she came out to her parents, her girlfriend at the time by her side. Her father, a very stout, but tough man, was enraged. He threw things around, and practically shoved his own flesh and blood out the front door like a dog.


New York was a complete change for her. Maxine has only been there for about two and a half years, and still seems to be an outcast. Although she excels in most of her classes, most teachers don't like her. She's quiet, shy, and never interacts with anyone else. All of her teachers have either given up at this point, or they always call her out and force her into uncomfortable positions.


Her Grandmother is sort of her comfort. She's an old, fairy tale like grandmother. Her name is Georgie, and she's in her sixties. Georgie has inspired Maxi to join theatre. Her grandmother use to be the lead in all her schools shows, and was still talented to this day. She could have been something great, but decided to be a teacher instead. She is now retired, and lives in a quiet neighborhood where not a lot of drama ever happens. Maxine takes care of her grandma, but the two are more like goofy roommates. Georgie is the only person Maxime can ever be comfortable around. She is like a breath of relief from all the troubles Maxi has been through. The two are best friends, and it seems life's pretty great at this moment.

PERSONA

Personality: Brice is the quintessential fresh off the boat guy, or, perhaps 'plane' is more appropriate. He comes from a well-off family and only lets that get to his head in the best way [if such a way does exist]. Unlike the rich kid careless with spending and flaunting the money that's not actually his, he's pompous with the dominant, go-getter personality to strive for his own successes. He has a leadership mentality -- positive traits for a business-oriented drive. However, his level of narcissism and bad habit of being condescending follow. Where he gets his arrogant attitude is a bit of a mystery since neither of his parents are like that, but perhaps it's just a phase? Or maybe a subconscious cover for something more? ...Or he's just a jerkface. --Pick your excuse and stick to it. In conversation, he may be very blunt and sarcastic, but knows how to 'recover' his words if they strike someone the wrong way as he's crafty with speech.

Although, his personality seems very coarse, he surely has a soft side -- well capable of being sweet and has an unexpectedly good sense of humor as he can be a jokester. And, despite the narcissism, he's actually quite giving and not that selfish; he just spends a lot of time complimenting himself and boosting his name in ways calculated enough not to be too abrasive or too subtle. That same leadership mentality helped his good trait of being outgoing. Generally, he is friendly and very laid back to new people he meets. He'd seem quick to judge, but is very analytical before casting judgment unless someone strikes him the wrong way. First impressions are important in his world. Lastly, family and his culture are important to him. Though he has been in the States for 3 years, he still holds many of his Taiwanese cultural customs. ...But do call him 'Brice'. BACKGROUND


History:


His parents met in the U.S. His father, Chaojian, was there on a business trip and had gone out one night with a coworker/friend to a burlesque show. His mother, Eileen, had actually been one of the performers there. His father ended up making it backstage after the show and things progressed from there. After maintaining a fair long distance relationship and being prompted continuously by his father, his mother moved to Taiwan where they later married.


Brice has had a rather clean, simple background compared to most; not too much hardship. Born in Sanxia, New Taipei City, he had since spent all his growing life in Taiwan. His father was very strict on enforcing the culture on him and his mother didn't object. After all, they were living in a place where it would be important as possible for Brice to 'fit in'. Though, she is the reason he speaks English.


While 'fitting in' was ideal, he typically stood out. Due to his appearance, he was often treated as a foreigner by those who didn't know him until they learned he was fluent in Mandarin and Taiwanese, and mixed race. Being that 'hunxue-er' - as they are called there - is often idolized, this probably brought him more praise than prejudice, making him popular with girls and many others. However, while fully embracing his combination of ethnicities, he didn't always enjoy the 'awe' he got over something he didn't even control. In his book, he was just another Taiwanese guy, and not some spectacle to ogle and interact with for the sake of it. Don't get him wrong, though; he loves his home country and has often missed it.


When his father ended up agreeing to a business deal that would bring in more income, but required them to relocate, the family moved from Taiwan to the U.S. when Brice was 15.

Personality: Lola is an overall upbeat and fun-loving person and doesn't take life too seriously, at least, outside of her dancing and cheerleading. She puts forth a high level of confidence that does a good job at masking her little insecurities. (She has an underlying fear of nothing being good enough.) Always craving attention and pretty much getting it, it makes sense that she's in love with her looks. She makes sure she always looks presentable unless she's having a lax day. Being somewhat of a 'neat freak', she has a habit of keeping her environment clean. Family is important to her, so she tends to put them above everything, and 9 times out of 10, she'll drop whatever she's got going on. She's also very attentive to their needs. She's definitely a different person to her family (and some friends) than she is to outsiders.

Outside of her circle, she'd definitely be described as arrogant and snobby, an attitude that may be in small part from her mother. She knows she's probably above average in terms of attractiveness and she's good at what she does, which is just icing on the cake to fuel her ego. While she never backs away from a challenge, she doesn't particularly like having to go out of her way to prove herself. There are times when she messes up, and she has a hard time admitting to that. Giving apologies is one of her greatest weaknesses in life, but you can usually pry one out of her with a few nudges.

History:


Lola was born in the western U.S. to Demetris Wright and Giovanna Donati. Her mother is an immigrant from Italy and her father is U.S.-born of Greek and English descent. Her father had actually been one of the first people her mother met upon her arrival to America. She had needed directions to find a particular store, and he happened to be one of the people she asked for help. He didn't only give directions, but had been kind enough to take her there. From that moment, they became friends and he even helped her land her first job. Another year passed before they started dating, and later married.


Lola has led a smooth life with the usual ups-and-downs - nothing too traumatic or outstanding. Her parents have always pushed her to work hard and focus even harder on the talents she discovers. Aside from that, she's been spoiled, for the most part. She never had to ask for much; that's been a lifestyle for her. Disciplinary issues have never been a problem for her except for little kid things like teasing or getting into silly arguments, so she's been punished very few times in her life.


At around six-years-old, she developed a close relationship with her cousin, Jet. His family (related by their mothers) came to live with them for a while when they first moved from Australia. Even after they moved out, the two saw each other often with frequent visits. Being three years older, he's like a little brother to her, giving them more of a brother-sister relationship as opposed to cousin relationship.

PERSONALITY


Personality: (2+ paragraphs) Julian is a very orderly, precise person. He played piano for twelve years, and trumpet for nine, and he believes that one should practice one's arts and hone one's skills perfectly and diligently. He also tends to be more of an observer in life, but he will step in at times (though he tends to regret it). In the past, he was a meek, submissive, wallflower who avoided the jocks and only came out of his shell in band. But over senior year, he got sick of being meek, and decided that he would make those who tormented him for three years pay. Julian has a tendency to hold grudges, which is helped along thanks to a great memory.


Julian is one of the drum majors in the band, so he is pretty good at leading others, and is extremely reliable. He tries to help those that are new to band, and sometimes even works with those that have trouble. However, this mistake-tolerant, helpful side only comes out around his friends and band students, while everyone else sees him as uptight. He also enjoys studying on his own, and wishes to go into genomic biology or genetic engineering.

Julian was born in upstate New York to loving parents. He started playing piano in kindergarten, and ultimately fell in love with the instrument. He also began playing trumpet in fourth grade.


Even though he never competed as a soloist, he would consider himself 'pretty good, but not the best'.


But in eighth grade, everything changed. Julian was bullied viciously by a group of kids, to the point where he got pushed down a flight of stairs, breaking his left tibia. This incident was the cause of his leg length discrepancy, and it left him jaded towards the 'popular kids'. Yet, he maintains that he fell down, due to fear of the popular kids. He ended up moving to another town after that, but he never stopped fearing popular kids.


In ninth grade, Julian joined the marching band as a trumpet player, and ended up enjoying it in spite of his leg-length discrepancy. He made drum major sophomore year, and continued to practice, eventually helping win several national competitions for McArthur High School. However, Julian only seemed to get along with other band geeks (even though he excelled in his classes), so they were the only people he showed his soft side to.


In tenth and eleventh grade, Julian feared the popular kids, and they had unquestioned school domination. But in twelfth grade, he was sick of fearing them, and this was only exacerbated by his inclusion in the Prom Committee. He is in two minds over the whole situation, actually do his job and make a good prom happen, or sabotage the popular people at every turn?

Being the self proclaimed and widely accepted school clowns, the boys are natural pranksters and have a great sense of humor. They are very full of themselves and believe they are gods gift to the pranking world. They scorn people who are still stuck at the being stupid to disturb the class stage and opt for much more sophisticated stage of being slightly less stupid and more funny to disrupt the class. They're pretty good sports, they can take a joke and are gracious losers, but not so gracious winners and have a habit of gloating. They are also unable to hold a grudge, no matter ho hard they try.

They are very close and have never been subject to the typical twin identity struggle. They have a very strong connection, nothing supernatural of course but they can sometimes feel when the other is in serious danger, something neither of them can explain. They enjoy speaking, simultaneously and finishing each other's sentences, things they have mastered over many years of knowing each other and, of course, practice.

They do have some differences in personality, Ty is the harsher, louder 'ringleader' of the two and Dee is the quieter, more selfless and kinder one. Ty is usually the one to come up with the plan while Dee makes it so they won't die while carrying it out. Ty is the more childish one who complains and Dee is the more sensible one. Ty mucks around and doesn't pay attention in vlass while Dee tries and gets good scores. These sides of them are usually kept to when they're alone though and in public they are usually acting exactly the same.

BACKGROUND

Born into a fairly normal family, the boys had a pretty good childhood. They lived in a fairly good house, they weren't exactly rich but they certainly weren't poor either, just struggling on the border. The youngst 2 of 6, they had to work hard to live up to the rest of the families expectations, especially since the rest of the family were crazy good, School Captians, prom queens and kings ect. So they tried their hardest in school, they became as popular as possible, they started football. Pretty soon, though, when they were about 13, the boys realized that trying hard and conforming to the school rules, both the teacher's and the unofficial students', just wasn't for them.

And so began a new chapter in their life, one full of mischief and fun and rule breaking. While their parents initially didn't approve, they saw the difference that undertook their youngest children, changing them from drab, upset clones to happy, energetic kids. And even though they still complained when they got they're (Ty's specifically) report cards or got another letter from the school, they were glad for them.

While Ty and Dee aren't exactly popular, they certainly,are something. They hang out and are generally likes by all crowds, if even if they weren't they still had each other. They are liked for their generally good personality and, of course, their mischief and disruptance of the school and teachers. Speaking of teachers, they generally don't mind the boys either. Even though they have given them more than their share of grey hairs, a fair teacher can see that they are really not that bad, even though they still frustrate the poor staff.
