Dubs walked into the duo's cozy apartment and locked the door. He was careful to do so every time he came in so as to make sure no one would walk in on Aia and scare her. In his hands, he held a load of groceries, most of which consisted of meat and things like soda and juice. They hardly ever bought veggies since Dubs didn't technically need human food... the perks of being a sentient computer. It was a double-edged sword at times, but he just enjoyed life as it came. He wasn't one to plan for every situation, but that didn't mean he didn't care what happened to people. In fact on the way home he had saved an old lady from being mugged.

"Aia! Where are you?" he called out once he went into the kitchen and started simmering a piece of steak. He knew she'd smell the food, so he wasn't worried. Once lunch was ready, he set the table and waited. He considered she might have been asleep, so he went over to the bedroom door and opened it. The scent of meat wafted inside and he went back to the table. He knew it was bad to startle her, so he never really tried to shake her awake anymore. Besides, she didn't have anywhere she needed to be... no job... carefree... he was a bit envious. Still...

~Beep beep... beep beep!~

What the... was that his communicator? He whipped it out. No... it wasn't his dad... It seemed to be a beacon and it was coming from the old site of Titan's Tower. The tower itself was decrepit and no longer functional, so that was odd... he shut off the alarm, assuming it was malfunctioning.

After their meal, the beeping started up again. No longer able to ignore it, he sighed, "Aia... I think we should check on the old Tower. Something's up... Wanna come with me?" he asked her after she swallowed the last of the massive steak he had made for her.

Darien passed a school of fish that was swimming by and smiled. Going back to looking at the coral in the bay of this part of the ocean, he continued picking up little shells and other such trinkets. a vibrating on his hip stopped him and he removed the device from his waist. The communicator was of atlantean design as the newest Auqaman had given it to him a while ago. seeing it was a becon not even two leagues away, he set of toward it more curious than concerned.

Hopefully he would be the only one there... humans didn't take very well to his resemblance to his father most of the time...

Aia

Aia had been indeed asleep. Curled up in a ball of her tail and blankets. There she was happy and warm till the smell of food touched her nostrils. It was almost instantaneous the way she shot up. Her eyes happily wide, her tongue gently sticking out an inch or two from between her lips as she sniffed around. Climbing off the bed onto all fours she walked to the door before standing on her hind legs. Aia’s lips turning into a bigger smile as she sniffed up in the air before happily trotting off down the hall. Quickly entering the dinning area the aliens smile only grew ever more as she saw the steak. Without a word she leapt up. Clinging to the ceiling above Dubs she crawled across it over to her seat and reached down with her tail. Using it as a lift Aia lowered herself from the ceiling into the seat where she promptly dug in. Growling and groaning in joy as she tore into the meat, ripping chunk after chunk off and eating it. It wasn’t till dubs spoke that she turned her attention to him. Smiling widely at his offer for her to go out Aia nodded. Lifting herself up by her tail she moved over to Dubs and hugged him happily. Nuzzling his cheek with a purr. “I’d love to go out!!” She said excitedly to dubs. It was rare that she got to leave so it wouldn’t have been surprising that the alien immediately accepted his offer.

Vilere had not known what to expect when she had fled the hellish realm of her father, but finding her sister living a normal life of a human was far from what she could have ever dreamed up. Vilere had only ever heard of her power and her rebellion, she could only ever think of Raven as this powerful headstrong. Still when Vilere had surprised her older sister, she had been living a settled down life not rulling the world or gathering more power to strike at their father. The meeting between sisters had been an interesting one as while raven could sense the nature of Vilere her appearance, looking so close to their father made her hard to trust. Still the pair had formed a rather strained bond as Vilere could not hide she was jealous of Raven, not her power, but her life. She had gotten to be free of their father, to learn outside the dark. Still Raven had offered Vilere a place to stay as they were family.

One thing the sisters could actually do together was study. Raven had kept her large collection of grimoires as while the two did not control their powers the same way both were skilled spell casters. The tutelage of their father had given Vilere a rather specific focus on magic, that being dark or evil forms of it and summoning. It was clear what their father wanted of her and he had never hidden it, someone to bring him to earth. it was in the study that Raven kept many trinkets from the past including one odd device to speak of distances. Vilere didn't have much of an understanding of technology as her father did not use it and if he did it was purely for some king of weapon or armor. Never did Vilere see him or help him make anything that was not somehow used to hurt others. It was this device that started to blink and chirp as the two were in the middle of a lesson, with Raven slowly teaching Vilere a boarder range of spells.

" Why is it doing that?" Vilere asked turning to the device held for show under a glass dome.

" I did not expect that to ever turn on it was just something to remember the past" Raven said seeming confused though her tone was carefully measured.

"Yes well someone has turned the thing on, you said it gives messages does it have one?" Vilere asked sounding almost resentful of the device existing.

" Normally I would think it was malfunctioning, but perhaps someone is calling to us" Raven said removing the dome and checking the communicator.

" So then it is broken I guess the wonders of this world just can't last" Vilere said sarcastically thinking it was just junk.

" No no it is coming from the tower, though that place has been left to rot sadly" Raven said not letting her sister's words sink in as she understood there was little true malice that was just how she had been raised.

" Then how about we go to this tower and see who is calling out?" Vilere asked closing the book she had been reading. Raven nodded and without a word her soul self enveloped the pair before vanishing into the ground traveling to the tower.

Rhys slept peacefully, undisturbed by the sound of his father leaving the apartment. His dreams were largely quiet and calm, except for the occasional laugh from himself. A faint smile appeared on his face.

After a few minutes, his father’s old communicator began to beep. He tried to sleep through it at first, covering his ears with his hands. The beeping continued, and it began to give him a headache. Rhys sighed, muttered something unintelligible but probably obscene, and rolled out of bed and onto the floor.

A moment later, he dragged himself to his feet and stumbled around his room as he got dressed for the day. He picked black sweater, underwear, grey pants, socks, and combat boots before running a comb through his hair and a toothbrush over his teeth. After a brief stretch, which popped his spine in three places, Rhys picked up the beeping contraption and silenced it.

But still, he wondered who exactly was calling. It didn’t have a number, only a small map indicator and a pulsing light on the island in the bay of Jump City. The one with the giant, T-shaped tower.

“Da-ad!” Rhys said in a loud voice. “Are you home?”

No response. Rhys sighed, and considered the view outside the small apartment’s balcony. The old Tower loomed like a condemned mountain.

Eh, he might as well take a look.

Most of Dubs' neighbors were aware of Aia. That was true. What he was worried about was the way they treated her. True there were supers crawling the globe, so she wasn't alienated, which come to think of it was a funny word to use in this situation. Still, every now and then he would meet someone who didn't know who Aia was and didn't take to her too well. He silently offered up a prayer to whatever deities he could think of that might be able to deter anyone who would mess with them as he helped Aia get into some suitable clothing. He had never been put off by her just going around naked since her body was more like a lizard than a human, but he knew she needed clothes for humans to accept her. Once that was done he created a boom tube to the bay. He never wanted to transport himself directly to Titan's Tower since it still had security measures the general populace didn't know how to deactivate. Renting a jet ski, he turned to Aia.

"Wrap your tail around me. Don't let it fall in the water," he said, waiting for her to do so before starting up the jet ski. Noting out of the corner of his eye a weird look the guy he had rented from was giving him, he sighed internally. Doing his best to make sure Aia didn't notice, he shot the man a glare.

Once they neared the Tower, he started working on decoding the algorithm around the Tower's defenses remotely. The reason he could do so was quite simple really. Cyborg had set them up, and he was their current maintenance director, so he was the only one who could remove the defense mechanisms other than the five original Titans. Parking the jet ski near the doors to the Tower, he saw a raven-shaped shadow pass under him. If one of the founding members was here there's no telling how serious this was...

Grabbing Aia's hand, he ran into the building just in time to see Raven and Vilere appear in the old Ops room.

—————

Darien swam along at a slightly faster pace than the fish around him, not too worried about the constant vibrations of his pocket. When he got to the island and realized it was Titan's Tower, he groaned, "Greaaaaat... one of Dad's enemies old hangouts..." he was about to leave until he caught site of what he assumed was along albino lizard's tail. "What? I don't remember any heroes like that... and didn't this place have higher than average defenses?" he sighed, "Darien, just leave... this does concern y-"

A boom tube opened below his feet, and he dropped into the Ops room.

"Identify yourself or she gets a snack!" Dubs clicked his fingers together. Darien sighed, "At least this is a good way to die..." he saw Raven, Vilere, and Dubs and thought maybe the world had decided he was no longer allowed to exist. Though it wasn't very well known, he viewed himself as worthless, which meant he didn't follow in dear old dad's footsteps. Killer Croc was of course disappointed and had disowned him, and he had never known his mother, so...

Looking at the fourth member of the room's occupants, he realized that at least he knew it wasn't an anaconda earlier.

Nope... deadlier. and definitely awe-inspiring... and cute if he was honest with himself... those were some sharp teeth. and they were getting closer.

"Looks like this is the end." he closed his eyes and waited.

Aia never truly understood clothing. It wasn't that she didn't particularly like it them or anything but to be honest she much preferred to not have clothing in whenever she could. Still though she was happy to get dressed when Dubs asked her too. Putting on her favotire hoodie, shorts and socks that dubs had made for her Aia was ready and soon following after him as he created a boom tube. Climbing on she did as Dubs asked, her tail wrapping as much of its length as she could around Dub's midsection as well as hugging him around the neck from behind Aia was now ready for the trip out, Obvious excitement on her face as she looked around at anything and everything. Completely oblivious to the strange looks people where giving her.

Soon they arrived and Aia hopped off with joy. Standing crouched on her hands and feet she looked around curiously, her tongue gently poking from her lips a few inches to gather her own senses before Dubs dragged her inside quickly. "b-but i wanna look around!" She whined quietly to dubs only to go silent at the presence of two new girls there. Staring down the two curiously she sniffed in there direction, trying to figure out what and who they where.

For the moment her attention was solely held on the other girls till she heard the thud of someone dropping next to them. Before dubs could even speak Aia lunged at the man that dropped in. Tackling him as her tails wrapped around his legs to keep him pinned, Her teeth bared viciously down at him as she hissed and growled but didn't move further. Simply holding him till he answered dubs question

Ramona huffed as she looked up at her father with a hit of annoyance. He was always a drill sergeant when it came to her close quarters training. The added limitation of not being allowed to use her ice powers made it that much harder. Before she could get her bearings another fist came flying towards her, she could easily block it. A quick flash of her father frozen solid crossed her mind and she leapt away, rolling backwards and onto her feet. "Ramona, block it." Dick was firm as he looked at her. "How many times do we need to go over this?"

"Sorry dad." Ramona looked at her feet as she could tell her father was disappointed. "It's just, every time I think about well, making contact with you, I panic. We already saw what happened when I touched the flowers in the garden. They're STILL frozen." Ramona looked to Dick with a bit of uncertainty. "I don't want to risk that with you." Sure Ramona was currently fully covered between her jacket and the rest of her clothes, but there was always a chance. A small one, but it was there.

"Dick. Ease up on her. She's grown quite strong in the use of her ice powers and with any weapon you've trained her in she can fight well enough to handle quite a few villains." Kori smiled as she wrapped her arms around Dick. "Besides, you've been training for a few hours now. It's time to--" Kori's words were cut off by a pair of communicators flashing in their display cases. "Well, I wasn't expecting those to go off." Kori walked over and gathered up her device and took a look at it. "It's coming from Titan Tower Dick." Kori seemed shocked and Ramona could understand why. That tower had long since been basically condemned. "Should we check it out?"

"I mean it's at least worth a look." Dick smiled as he was gathering up some gadgets. The two looked between each other, nodded and then turned to Ramona. "Care to tag along? It could be a good first outing as a superhero." Ramona's eyes lit up as she had been left behind for all their hero adventures before but now she could finally come along. The blue-haired girl seemed to completely forget about her exhaustion as she stole some heat from a nearby lightbulb. "I'll take that as a yes." Dick chuckled before asking. "So, are you riding with me or flying with your mother?"

"I think I'll fly on my own. Ice platforms after all dad." She smirked as she went to one of Kori's exits for their training hall. "Race ya there!" She cried out as she climbed into the air on a stair case of ice. She had to stop and look around once she reached the top. Jump City looked so amazing to her from above. Sure it was no night time view, but it was definitely still something to look at. With that she started to run off towards the tower, continuing to create small platforms for her to run along.

"That's definitely our daughter." Dick chuckled as he hopped onto his bike. "Well, I'll catch up with you and Ramona at the tower. Love you." He threw his helmet on and rode off while Starfire caught up to her adoptive daughter flying along beside her as they approached the remnants of the past for the Titans.

Vilere and Raven were not expecting to see others here at the tower, or at least Vilere wasn't. Raven would have known the other had kept their communicators. it was only subtle shifts that showed Raven was a little disappointed by those that had come instead of her old friends. Vilere had not been expecting anyone and was glad she always kept her human looks up she would hate to let others see her demonic nature. Still judging from the weirdos that had come Vilere half wondered if they would even notice she looked different. Well they might look like animals but to look like trigon was a stain that no one could ignore or not be hated for.

" I thought this place was abandoned, it seems there are pests here" Vilere said looking to them all " You should have locked up better when you left"

" No one here is to fight " Raven said looking to the snake like girl on the snake like boy " You can get off him" She said her tone controlled and calm not sensing anything evil in the kids here.

" So you guys just gave out communicators to any weirdos you met, the room sure looks like that" Vilere said her tone mocking. It was hard to not try to hurt people, to attack them to look for an emotional response. Being raised by a demon caused that, she had been raised on insults from her dad and taught to seek out the dark in others. She was trying to break that habit, but she wasn't going to apologize to the group that had broken into her sisters tower.

" I am wondering why everyone is here I would expect the old team to come not those here. So why are you all here?" Raven asked though her tone in a way said she knew the answer already.

Rhys rowed his way towards the abandoned island in a ‘borrowed’ boat, using his enhanced strength to pull himself through the surf. Occasionally he would throw a glance over his shoulder and towards the Tower. His father had told him a bit about it, and the team he used to share it with. There was Cyborg, Raven, Starfire, and... hm, who was the last one? Sparrow? Rob? Some sort of bird guy? Maybe he was a bird man.

Or maybe bats? Rhys could never remember that sort of thing, in all honesty.

After a few more minutes of rowing, Rhys reached a spot just below the sheer rock face on one side of the island. For a regular person, the thirty-foot rock wall would be impassible. But Rhys was a little more skilled than a regular person.

He stood in the boat, and crouched with a muttered apology to the owner of the vessel. Then he leapt a solid ten feet into the air, smashing a hole in the boat as his hands extended and warped into three black talons each. They sunk into the flaky stone about six inches deep, barely enough to hold Rhys up. After a moment to rest, Rhys clambered up the wall and onto the long grass of the island proper.

Rhys then crept along, claws out and ready to lash out if anything attacked. Then he picked up the sight of movement in the upper levels of the Tower. Rhys briefly considered, and then darted through the long grass to the base of the ruined building. He then began to scale the exposed supports, and made his way to the long-shattered windows where he’d spotted the motion.

He heard something about communicators, the old team, a few different voices. He peeked out from below floor level, hoping to catch a glimpse of who was talking. Anyone with good vision who was paying attention could catch the sight of his piercing eyes.

Darien opened one eye, finding his legs pinned, and found he wasn't being eaten... yet. She looked like she wouldn't hesitate but the other boy looked like he was the only reason she wasn't ripping into his flesh right now so he answered the question.

"D-d-darien! My name's Darien." he said. "Any chance you a relative of a Titan?" he sighed, "And can you tell cutesy-mc-vicious to let me go? I came here because Aquaman gave me this and it went off a few minutes ago." he reached into his pocket and pulled out the communicator that used to be Garth's(the Original Series Aqualad, not YJ's)

Raven at the very least would recognize the design. it was an honorary Titan symbol. One that Dubs had in his own database too, so with a sigh he said, "Aia, he's a friend. don't kill him. you can let him get up." turning to Vilere, one of his optics rotated in his socket but he said nothing about whatever he was doing with it and simply opted for, "If you must know I happen to be Cybernetic. the full name is Biomechanical Motherbox Wielder 004782936... But call me Dubs. I'd rather shorten the W and have a better moniker anyways. If you had to pin a creator to me familially it would be Cyborg. will that satiate someone of your type? Or do you prefer corpses?" He was not exactly spitting venom or anything but he assumed if the data he had just received was to be trusted she would probably PREFER someone to throw sarcasm a bit too far than be lollipops-and-rainbows-nice-face ignorant of the pests comment or the fact that she was looking down on them from their perspective. He hadn't found a single ID on her current appearance, though when he broadened his search, in the .000000006 seconds it took to find the word "Demon" in her file, he had already decided not to piss her off... then again, he was probably already doing that, even if he hadn't intended to.

Darien frowned, "Now hold on a second! everyone here's obviously different! Why are you so angry at her for being suspicious of who does and doesn't have a friggin communicator! my dad's a friggin croc-nevermind."

Dubs sighed, "I supposed we all have secrets crocodile boy. Fine. background checks aside, and to answer the more pressing question My Aunt just asked," He smiled at calling Raven his aunt, even if it was by association and probably just because of Cyborg's relationship as Raven's older brother figure, "Why would all of us be checking the tower at the same ti-"

"Well isn't this a party? Hold on... Wait, is that you Rae? but... pfffft... you're OLD! Hahahahahaha.... well sure I haven't aged all that well either... got my arm ripped off by the Joker with a chainsaw, but hey... Geomancer powers amiright?"

Terra... an older version... of Terra, was rummaging through the drawers in the kitchen of the dilapidated old Ops room as if she had been there watching them in secret. the only thing she was missing was popcorn.

Oh, and her right arm was cut off at the shoulder. currently, there were some bandages there to stop the stump from bleeding out. she looked at them all for a second. "Oh, right, the no powers thing... I guess Fate had other... hahaha... can't even lie with a straight face anymore... heh." she sighed after calming considerably. "Constantine's little b**** says hi."

Dubs was immediately on the alert, "Which one?" he was on high alert. Constantine was well known for having slept around in a lot of places, so it was only natural he'd have a few kids that he didn't want in the mortal realm by now. they weren't all exactly what you could call evil... buuuut... I mean the guy didn't exactly scream role model so, Dubs was considerably and justifiably worried.

"Relax kiddo. Can I just get some help with the arm? I'm in considerable pain right now..." Terra sat down and leaned against a cabinet. "Rae, you still got those pain nullification spellbooks around here? Was actually looking for em...s'why I-" she passed out.

Dubs frowned and muttered, "She's obviously gonna die if we don't do something, and just mentioning a sorcerer who could rival a god means she has something to tell us... Raven, you're the senior member here, I'll defer the decision to you... anyone opposed?"

Darien sighed, "One minute you're condemning everyone, the next your chummy because there's a woman I have never met who reeks of iron mentioning a guy nobody should mess with, and to top it all of, she's bleeding out on the floor... what the hell is wrong with you?"

"We have a dying citizen in the room and I can always fight you guys off later. right now, do we save her or not? Aia, stop salivating, Terra is not food." Dubs said.

Darien stared, "THE Terra? Oh you've gotta be joking... that's it I'm out." he turned to leave.

Ramona was loving this little flight over the city along side her mom. Sliding along as if she were skating across the sky on the thin sheet of ice she was building beneath her. "You've gotten quite skilled at using your powers Ramona." Star was flying alongside as they grew closer to the tower. "I'm glad that our training has paid off."

"Of course it has. You trained me." Ramona laughed as she turned to the tower that was closing in fast. Taking a deep breath, she could feel the nerves settling in on her. Whoever was likely to be dangerous. Then again, anything that heroes did was dangerous. Ramona continued to feel the anxiety fill her until her got her attention with a starbolt. "What? What?!" Ramona stopped herself mid-glide as she looked to her mom with a bit of uncertainty.

"We're here Ramona. Let's go in through the roof." Kori landed on top of the building while Ramona filed in behind her mother. Ramona created a bo staff of ice as the two started to make their way down towards the ops room. Having something like that in her hand made her feel a lot less tense. Starfire kept a small light for the pair as they worked their way down only to see quite a few bodies in the room. One of which the former titan recognized immediately. "Raven? Is that you?!" Starfire nearly lit up at the sight of her old teammate and flew over. "Why it is you!" She embraced the girl before noticing the body sprayed out on the floor. "Oh my, Raven, can you help her?" Starfire floated over to the body lighting up the face and seeming shocked at the realization of who was on the ground. "Tera?"

Meanwhile, Ramona was looking at the two lizard-like people with intrigue. "What on earth are you two?" She asked while approaching them. Her bo staff still clutched tightly while taking a look over them. She was still on edge and was trying to stay alert in case any of them made a move, but the fact that her mother recognized one of the others here meant that it wasn't likely they were all dangerous. It was then that Ramona caught sight of the unconscious body, though based off Kori's reaction she was going to handle it. And it wasn't like Ramona knew anything about medical treatment. "So, I'm guessing we all got called here by the beacon?" She pointed to the communicator in the reptilian boy's hands. Ramona wasn't exactly sure on how to interact with others. Although she did go to school for a while, the discovery of her power made it where she couldn't go anymore and killed any sense of social skills she'd had.

Vilere's eyes narrowed she barely understood what the boy was talking about, boxes that were mothers, cyber organs, really she had no clue what any of that meant. Well he said mechanical so he must be a machine. that was great now machines were talking and pretending to be people. Vilere had no real experience with complex machines and really only knew of what would be found in an average house and even then she didn't understand it. So a machine that could think and act like a person was a bit unsettling. Vilere would have retorted but Raven could feel the annoyance and confusion and placed a hand on Vilere's shoulder. That was all the younger sister needed to know she should keep her mouth shut for now. Despite what Vilere might think and want to do Raven it seemed had other ideas as she just sighed, but before she could really respond more people came and Raven was in a hug she actually returned. With the father unable to use raven she could show more emotion, but by habit maintained her control.

" Yeah it seems Tera called us here after trying to look in my room" Raven said with a slight smirk as in the old days she had been very picky about letting anyone into her room. Raven would have asked Tera more but said woman passed out. She really needed some healing, not just pain suppression.

" Is everyone you know some form of oddity sister?" Vilere asked stacking close to her elder sister watching the others with a frown. One would think being around other people that were not normal would make Vilere feel more welcome, but in truth she didn't know how to deal with them all. Vilere had been out on small outings to get used to people and learn how to deal with them, but that was nothing like what was going on now.

" That is what it takes to be a hero" Raven said to tease her sister a little before kneeling next to Tera removing the bandages to look at the stump " azarath metrion zinthos" Raven said as she started to use her powers, She could heal the stump, speeding up recovery promoting cell growth, but she could not bring the arm back.

" Hey machine wasn't there some other place Tera could have gone, a hospital over this tower?" Vilere asked still unsure how to deal with the machine it had a name, but she wasn't sure really how to deal with it. Machines were things that did stuff for people they weren't people. So should she treat this machine like other machines or was it special. It had said it was the child of Cyborg but he was mostly machine as well so he would feel kinship to things and people. Vilere had heard of hospitals they were were the sick and inured were taken for healing, so why had Tera not gone there, did heroes not get healing?

Before she got an answer from dubs the other man the snake one thought he should leave " If you took one of those little toys or were given one you should know better than think you can run away because things are not what you want" She said for once showing some form of respect at least for those that went out to help others, namely the titans. Vilere wanted to be good, to be a hero so she had to have some concept of duty even if she was still working on honor. " Or did you simply steal it without knowing what answering the call meant?"

Aia didn’t take her eyes off the hot she held down till dubs spoke. Her snarl instantly disappearing, replaced with a small smile as her tail unwrapped from around the boys legs and she hopped off of him. Standing up onto her hung legs she trotted over to Dubs side once again with a big smile. Gently tugging at the arm of his jacket. “D-dubs can I explore?” She asked quietly while looking to the other patrons of the room. That’s when she noticed the person with the missing arm. Sure she was saying stuff but Aia’s attention had been snagged by something else as she stared her down with big eyes. The scent of blood had caught her and being the predator she was Aia wasn’t immune to her instincts.

her eyes didn’t leave the woman for a moment as she watched the lady pass out onto the floor only making it more of a meal. It wasn’t till dubs told Aia to stop that she finally looked away from the woman on the ground with a pout. “But I’m still hungry.” She mumbled quietly to herself in mild protest as her eyes searched over the room they where in. Her tongue gently picking from between her lips about an inch or two once more as her tail coiled under her. Lifting her smaller body into the air to sit on her tail like a seat the aliens eyes settled onto the other tailed man. Curiosity taking over more now that she looked him over. Preferring to stay put and study rather than pay attention to everyone else and there conversation

Darien stopped walking away and debated about what this new girl had just asked. "I'm an Atlantean." he decided to go with a half-truth. Turning to Vilere, he started to speak, but it was obvious he was a bit scared. "I... I didn't steal it, but... I... I... Wait... did everyone here come because of that beacon?"

Tera was awake again by now and looked over at Darien, seeming to realize something, "Hey I've heard of you! aren't you Croc's kid?"

Darien froze. whatever happened to him, every time someone found out, he was immediately labeled a disappointment by villains and an evil person by heroes. Tera sighed, "Thanks Rae... I'm good now. Heh... Oh hey Star! do you still cook?" she smiled at her Tamaranian friend.

Dubs sighed, "Darien, was it? I won't pretend I know what's going on but... no one should be so hostile towards-"

Darien turned and yelled, "Hypocrite! You certainly labeled Raven's companion over there a threat almost immediately! This is why no one understands me!" he was about to jump out the broken window nearby into the ocean, but surprisingly, Tera raised her good arm and the ground around his tail entombed it to the floor. he fell on his butt, and looked behind himself, "MOTHER FU-" his mouth was covered as Dubs ran at high speed and whispered, "I'd rather Aia not know that particular word choice."

Darien made a muffled sound that sounded like he understood, and Dubs removed his hand. Dubs looked over at Aia, "If you're hungry, I suppose I can give you something." he used his boom tube to transport a whole chicken right in front of her. It was raw, but considering Aia's predatorial senses, that didn't really matter.

Turning to Vilere, Dubs ran another algorithm for a moment, "So my previous actions were unfounded truths then? apparently, those who insult do not in fact enjoy being insulted... as to why she would not go to a regular hospital-"

Tera shook her head and interrupted their conversation. "I didn't go there because last time I was able to use my powers I tried to kill the whole Teen Titans team." she just readily admitted it. "I will always regret it as long as I live, but the past isn't something you can change."

Dubs walked over and held out a hand to Ramona, intending to shake. "I suppose we should all be acquainted if we are all heroes here?" he spoke to the room's occupants in general.

That's when they heard the telltale sounds of a motorcycle. "Ummm... is that-" Dubs started.

Tera laughed, "So Star, which one of you finally broke that wall?" she asked cheekily. attempting to stand, she stumbled and fell over. "Right... center of balance is a bit off... damn clown..." she muttered right as Robin was in earshot.

Ramona was watching the ordeal as everything was moving one piece at a time. Tera was conscious again so the healing worked. "Yes. I still cook though I've gotten far better at cooking earthling dishes rather than Tamaranian ones. Although I do still have a little trouble with cakes and sweets." Ramona couldn't help but let out a laugh.

"A little, mom, my birthday cake was made with those Tamaranian berries you feed silkie. Nobody enjoyed it and we had to go buy one." Ramona covered her mouth as she realized she'd just called Starfire mom. One was never supposed to reveal their identity, and Ramona had done that in a short bit, though Star's reaction wasn't just a sympathetic shrug. To which Ramona was thankful to not get in trouble for it. However now her attention was on the boy that was the child of killer croc. She felt empathetic for the boy and actually reached out for him when he started freaking out. Still with gloves on her hand she placed a hand on the boy's shoulder.

"I know it may be hard to deal with the way people look at you. But you're not alone." She smiled at him. "I'm the biological daughter of killer frost and icicle junior. Double the super villains." She looked to the others as Kori looked actually proud. "But I'm happy to say that I've been adopted into a wonderful new family." Ramona was about to shake the boy that was boom tubing stuff's hand when she heard the sounds of her dad's bike. And Tera had to go and make a small spectacle of it.

"It was Starfire that broke the wall. Who else?" Nightwing said as he arrived in the ops room. "You know I wasn't the best at emoting, got that from my old man." Dick was referring to Bruce whom Ramona knew only a little about. "Now, how in the hells did you manage to get your powers back, and what's this about the Joker?" Ramona saw the serious look on her dad's face and scooched a bit closer to kid croc. She never did like when her dad got like this and Starfire even gave him a look. "Sorry Ramona, but any mention of the Joker means serious business and Tera knows that."

" Sister" vilere corrected the crocodile kid as he did his little rant and seemed he was the kind to get wrapped up in self pity about others not getting him. Vilere didn't get the pity part, but she could get the not being understood. Vilere fully expected to not fully be trusted, she knew why that was a good idea. her father could influence her, make her a portal, she could be tricking them, everyone had good reason to be a bit suspicious of her. Some kid that had daddy issues really was nothing compared to a demonic dad trying to get to you. The machine's words were odd, he didn't fully speak like a normal person, yet seemed to mimic it. It reminded her a demon trying to pretend to be kind, but there just being something so very wrong about it. In truth as more and more people arrived Vilere found herself wishing to retreat somewhere to relax and try this all again latter, to many strange people all at once. it was only as the girl with starfire spoke that Vilere really noticed her, another kid with family issues, did the Titians collect them?

" Slade had a powerful hold over you, and you managed to kill him in the end, at least for a little while" Raven said as if those few words dismissed everything. Terra had betrayed them, but it was a long string of misunderstands and a very manipulative villain. Raven had ended up causing worse and had almost ended the world so she couldn't really fault Terra when looking back at it all.

" Do the titans just collect people with family issues or something?" Vilere asked out loud with a sigh finding this all to much just how often did people with power end up in strange bad houses or have bad lives.

" Well I did pick up you" Raven said back as any who knew of raven's family would know how screwed up it was and Vilere was no exception.

" Yeah well I had hopped to meet normal people, instead we meet a snake thing, a machine, and two people who seem to think someone who hasn't destroyed a dimension is a villain." Vilere explained pointing to each in turn not really caring she was being rude. These were all strange people and to her they all hand minor qualms compared to the madness of her upbringing.

Raven sighed " Just relax sis things here aren't as calm as they are on Azarath" She said their fake story was she was from Azarath like raven. They would lie that Vilere had a similar but not the same upbringing as Raven herself. The truth was there was not Azarath to go to any more Trigon had made sure of that before he had come to earth, but such things hand never really come up so all but those that would actually seek Azarath would not know it's fate.

Raven then turned to Nightwing " Perhaps the interrogations can wait You know my magic doesn't fix things it helps them heal, so Tera despite seeming fine for now still has most of the issues she walked in here with" She explained namely pointing out Tera still should be lacking a good amount of blood and was missing and arm, but the stump looked well enough.

Charles didn't know what to make of what just happened. It had to be a dream he thought to himself. As he looked down his ring was still there as well as a lantern on his night stand. In a panic he went into his bathroom and in his reflection he was in full lantern gear. "Oh my god" he said slowly as he did there was a knock on the door. "Charles in that you"? Carol his grand mother let out as she knocked on the door.

"Oh crap, go away go away" Charles blurted out. "I'm not going anywhere until you show me that handsome face" Carol answered. "Not you this stupid thing" he whispered to himself. Charles threw his jacket over the lantern. Carol opened the door and right before she did he suit disappeared. "Are you ok, you're acting awful strange" Carol asked?

Charles thought about telling her the truth but he thought it best to keep her and pops out of it. " I'm fine Nana just tired" Charles said as he yawned. "Ok dear she said as she left his room and closed the door. "What am I going to do" Charles said as he laid back across the bed. As he did his ring started to glow. The same figure appeared in front of him again. "You are needed at titan tower I will fill you in on the way the" figure said. "What about Pops" Charles asked?

"Who Hal" he grinned. "Ill let him know that you wanted to see the tower " he said. As he did a green light appeared and teleported them a mile away from the Titian building. "Um you could have brought us closer" Charles said with an attitude. "Really" The figure grabbed him and flew to about 25,000 feet as he did his lantern uniform was dawned so "Hal taught you to fly did he" The lantern yelled out as he dropped him.

Charles started to panic. "Clear your mind young one, Think only good and positive thoughts" The figure said as he matched his speed. "You know I'm falling to my death right" Charles let out a yell of his own. "You can change that, focus child" The Lantern said. He did as instructed and closed his eyes. Charles thought about the lady being robbed. "In brightest day" Him making a choice to take action "In blackest night". Charles watching the gun be pointed at her " No evil shall escape my sight. Him running towards the gun man. "Let those who worship evil's might Beware my power" diving in front of the bullet "Green lanterns light." As he said the oath for the 1st time a green substance stared to engulf his body until he was covered from head to toe with green He was hovering 5 feet above the ground as his feet slowly hit the ground.

"You are now a lantern" The figure said as he put his hand on Charles's shoulder. "It's what in your heart" He said as the lantern disappeared. Charles made his way to the tower and walked waited at the tower door. " Hello is anyone here" Charles called out.

Aia

Aia had been content with exploring around the room till she heard her name called and rushed to Dub’s side with big curious eyes. It wasn’t till he boom tubed a chicken in that she got excited. Letting out a quiet squeak of joy she looked between the chicken and dubs as if asking permission to eat before she simply lunged at the chicken. Mouth open and fangs in full view as she bit into the raw chicken with a big smile. Bitting into the leg and ripping the whole thing off as she sat content next to Dubs to eat. Her eyes scanning the group as she tore into the raw chicken with glee like a child given chicken nuggets till something caught her ear. The tuft of hair over her ear lifted as she turned the side of her head towards the entrance to listen. After doing so for a moment or two she grabbed dub’s arm and pulled on it. “Door. Door.” She said softly to him, having heard the call’s and knocking from all the way up here.

Darien listened to Ramona and realization dawned as he gathered he wasn't the only one with secrets to hide, or at the very least he wasn't the only oddity here. Tera removed the rock from his tail soon after and he stood up, examining his extra appendage for damage, finding none. "Um... thanks..." he nodded to Ramona. Maybe it wouldn't be a bad thing to see where this little get-together was going to end up.

Dubs frowned and walked over to Vilere, "Listen here you pretentious demon! Just because I HAVE a motherbox for a brain doesn't make me a machine! I happen to be composed of organics as well! I'd appreciate it if we could at least be civilized enough to—what? Do I have something on my face?"

Darien looked over at Dubs in a way that made him stop talking, "Dude, you literally just racially profiled her, and you're talking about being civilized like you aren't being racist at all!"

"I-I-I... Sorry... I apologize. I still need to gather data on human interaction it seems..." Dubs shrank back, opting to study the ground intently as though he found something super interesting in the floorboards.

Tera once again attempted to stand, this time with much better results. she looked around the room, before noticing a streak of green shooting towards the tower from outside. Once she confirmed the actual cause, she muttered, "So Oa sent somebody too? Suppose it's fitting..."

Dubs took note of what Aia said and gathered from Tera's comment that there was a Lantern somewhere nearby. Using another boom tube, Charles was transported inside the Ops room. Dubs was just used to boom tubing around the city even though it was a waste of the use of said transportation method. Tera's eyes widened as she didn't recognize Charles at all. "Welcome aboard I guess?" she nodded in his general direction. Darian walked over and reached out a webbed hand to shake Charles' hand and gave a short greeting to the newcomer.

"Right... Bird boy, suppose I should get to it then... One of Trigon's cults decided that resurrecting old chuckles was a good step towards chaos. I'd bet money Klarion was the one who gave them that idea, to begin with." Tera explained, "As to how I got my powers back, like I said, thank one of Constantine's daughters. Apparently, she thought I deserved a third go around." Terra said, referencing the fact she had already been given two chances with the Titans.

Dubs frowned, "So witch boy is involved. That can't be good."

"Who?" Darien asked, clueless, as he spent most of his time in the ocean.

Dubs sighed, "Klarion is an ageless Lord of Chaos. basically immortal, though why he'd help Trigon in any capacity is a mystery. right now let's focus on one problem at a time. Joker's alive again, so that means we're going to need anti-Joker Venom measures in place. Robin, do you still have the vaccine formula at all?"

Charles walked into the building it was massive. The last time he saw it he was almost twelve. Him being a lantern was new to him this power this responsibility. Did the ring make a mistake he thought to himself. Then he remembered what Hal said to him The ring doesn't make mistakes. He looked down at it glowing it was amazing. Charles was walking the Hallways calling out for anyone " Hello, Hello" he called out.

"If this was so urgent where is everyone" he said to himself. He made a few more steps and he was transported into another room via boom tube. Once he arrived it was startling to see everyone there. As he got his barring he saw an webbed outstretched hand. He shook it, it felt a little weird. He took everything in that was going on around him.

Vilere despite saying nothing as the machine spoke to her, her reaction was a scowl and her eyes starting to glow red. Those familiar with Raven would know this happened when one of her kind felt extreme anger and let a little more of their father take out. it was raven who likely stopped Vilere from showing why a child of trigon with unrestrained emotions was a very dangerous thing, as Vilere felt raven's hand on her shoulder and almost instantly stopped and calmed down. Vilere was trying not to be a demon not to be their father and yet she was prone to letting the anger of their father take him.

" Half demon " Vilere corrected " Azarath doesn't have technology I do not really know how to deal with it" she admitted as that was the source of her treatment of the half machine boy.

The mention of Trigon made the two daughters of his wince a little both still having issues with their shared father, though Vilere had more recent experiences. Why would one being of chaos help another the answer was clear to go around breaking realities for fun. That was what Trigon liked to do just stepping into a world could destroy it and render all life dead. That was if he was in a good mood, if he wasn't then the suffering was prolonged. Still Trigon was locked away he should still be trapped in his own tower within his realm unable to be summed. Still something like a lord of chaos, that could break the chains that bound her father. Perhaps the chaos lord was just playing with the cult not planning to free her father.

" Well kalairon can't act to directly or else his opposite will come to counter him" Raven said sad dr Fate was a lord of order or at least Nabu was and if the lord of chaos acted to much Nabu would do something against him.

" Why else would he help except to watch Father destroy realm after realm, though no mere cult could ever summon him in full" Vilere said the only ones what could do that were right here in this room. His children skilled in magic and both full of power. " So the lord of chaos is likely just using them for some free fun"

"Regardless of whether he's doing it for fun or for a much bigger ploy, chaos left unchecked is never good." Dubs sighed. Nightwing said he had the antidote to the most recent Joker venom stashed somewhere, and that he would go get it ready, then sped away on his motorbike. Starfire and the ice-wielding-super-teen were soon to follow after him.

Terra sighed and focused, an arm made of pure earth forming from discarded pieces of the tower's structure, the stones it was comprised of shifting around and making the appendage move. "I know it's a bit awkward between you all right now... I can't say I am not surprised, but... you all do realize why I activated that beacon instead of just going after this one myself right?"

"Because you were bleeding out?" Darien guessed.

"Close, but no." Terra shook her head. "The world needs a Teen Titans team. I was thinking I'd see who came knocking. plain and simple."

"Uh... the Titans disbanded." Dubs pointed out. "We don't need to walk in their shadows."

"What if we call ourselves the Titans of Tomorrow? Keep the T.T. abbreviation and restore the tower? besides, don't green lanterns have the ability to make like... tools out of willpower? he could help rebuild the tower?" Darien offered.

Dubs sighed, "Where would we get the raw materials to... wait... does JUMP stay on friendly terms with the original members? I'll ask dad. Oh... duh, Raven's here. We can have her go to Jump and ask city hall right?"

"I think I can I haven't really tried, Hal told me he was transported and taught everything or at least most of it I, " Before Charles could finish he sentence he was transported to Oa he floated into a medical bay where they started running test to make sure Charles was safe and in good condition to start his training. The mysterious figure appeared once again.

He took off the cloak it was Morro he may not be the flashiest or most powerful of the Green Lanterns, but he’s one of the most compassionate and devoted Corpsmen around. Hailing from a tribe of nomads native to a desert planet in the ominously designated Space Sector 666, Morro along with his four dragon-like creatures who he adopted after mistakenly killing their mother quietly serves as the Corps’ crypt-keeper. On Oa, Morro stands guard over innumerable memorials he creates for each of the Corpsmen that have fallen in the line of duty.

"I know what it took for these Lanterns to become a Lantern I see something in you Charles" Morro said. " I need to get back to the" Charles said before Morro put his fingers to Charles lips to make him stop talking. He started to hear heavy foot steps he turned around and was greeted by Kilowog. Kilowog used his ring and grabbed Charles with green rope and through him across the bay. "You better start using that ring kid" Kilowog called out.

Vilere didn't really care about this joker or anything she wanted to get after that cult a team was in her mind not a good idea. Vilere had a secret to keep a horrible secret and having others around. the the green lantern just kind of vanished in a flash of green light. That was odd for sure he must have really not wanted to be part of this group thing. Vilere didn't want to be here but she kept her emotions mostly in check.

" i can go and see" Raven said not committing to anything as she could not be certain of anything.
