Other Tattoos, tattoos!

*casually revives this*
I have no idea why it's taken me forever to figure this out, but yo... that one special, meaningful, not-too-cheesy tattoo that I was talking about? I could totally get behind getting a pine tree as a tattoo. Check this shit out.

At this point it isn't even so much a possibility as it is just a matter of me figuring out where to put it, the precise design I'm going for, finding an artist and finding the motivation haha.
All of those look quite nice :)

I understand the struggle though—alas, I still have no ink on me.

I'm too young for tattoos (at least the legal ones) although I do plan on getting a bunch. I want to go to Poland so that I can get my favourite artist Fukari to tattoo something on my thigh. I trust her enough that I'd let her make up the design. Although the first tattoo I want, I want to be of an old school dagger facing downwards along the left of my rib cage. I know that getting it done on your ribs is a really bad idea for a first tattoo because of the pain, but the entire tattoo means a lot to me, and it would be a symbol of fighting through my abuse and finally being free of it, and I feel like I've been through enough pain that the tattoo would signify the last of it. I also want full sleeves that are honey bee themed and have a modern edge to them. But I dunno if I will. Who knows. Maybe I won't get any tattoos.

Dude, nice! She seems to have a really awesome style. And like as for pain, I would say just do it in small increments and you'll be fine. That's what a buddy has told me before, anyway.

She does! I've been watching her DeviantArt since she was in high school (she drew LGBT+ characters and was for a while my only source of representation ;-; ) and when I found out she got into tattooing I almost started to cry. I'm not afraid of the pain I think. I'd just have to let my tattoo artist know beforehand once I get it all done.

I have three, soon to be four.

I have a multi-colored star, in an area to enhance the appearance of cleavage, to put it nicely. It was my first tattoo. I had just turned 18 a few months beforehand, and my boyfriend (now husband) was getting a cover-up done of one of his own. His grandmother asked me if I wanted one, and in a pure act of rebel against my mothers wishes, I did it. Honestly, it's probably going to never have a "mate" on the other side, but I may add to it or cover it up with something else later on.

My second tattoo is a dedication to my grandmother. It's a long-tailed black and white dove, on my right shoulder blade. I got it on the first anniversary of her passing.

My third tattoo was a friendship piece. My best friend and I went last year and got small flocking birds tattooed behind our ears. Mine is on my right, and hers in on her left. If you put them together, they form the "V" formation, that birds fly in. If you look up why birds fly like this, it's to help each other stay up and keep going. Perfect reflection of our friendship through the years.

My fourth will be my first one on my left side, finally. I want my children's name, in an infinity symbol, on my left wrist.

This is the only one I have so far. And it's like 4 tattoos wrapped into one:

Wolf is me spirit animal

Yin and yang

The sandwich in the white ones mouth gets me 25% off for life at a restaurant, and deals with the moral of the story behind my tattoo

One of my favorite stories is about two men who fought one another in an Indian tribe. Later the elder had gathered the children to discuss why men fight, saying that there were two wolves fighting in all of us. The black wolf, which was our greed, anger, and apathy, etc . And the white, which represents our kindness, compassion, etc. When one of the children asked, "which wolf wins?" The village elder replied, "whichever one we feed the most."<p><a href="<fileStore.core_Attachment>/monthly_2016_05/20160506_145316.jpg.1337488ccc5ba67c0fc3f4606ecf136b.jpg" class="ipsAttachLink ipsAttachLink_image"><img data-fileid="123170" src="<fileStore.core_Attachment>/monthly_2016_05/20160506_145316.jpg.1337488ccc5ba67c0fc3f4606ecf136b.jpg" class="ipsImage ipsImage_thumbnailed" alt=""></a></p>

Lmao are you for real? Just flash that tattoo and you get 1/4 of your meal?

Swear to bob. Hahaha. Melt Bar and Grilled. And no, I also have a card that says I am a tattoo member, and there is a pic on the site. I'm number... 634? I think. Something like that.

I have three in total but the third one isn't finished. The first one I got was the quote and that was in March 2014. It's one of my favorite lines from Winne the Pooh :3

The Royal Crest was my second one. Legend of Zelda is and always will be my favorite video game.

I hope to get more but its so expensive right now. I actually want my next one to be something unique with lots of colors.

My husband and I got one of our tattoos together. This is my second tattoo and my husband's fourth. This particular tattoo represents my love for math. If you simplify the equation, it has a secret message: i<3u. My husband's tattoo, on the other hand, is less original. He loves lions and gaming, so this tattoo is from one of the Final Fantasy games.

That's our show and tell!

I have three small tattoos. I have a set of wings done in black outline on my left wrist, they kind of resemble the Cardcaptor wings. Second is a lady bug behind my right ear. Third is a bass clef and treble cleff in the shape of a heart behind my left ear. I have another one planned that I want to get before I move next, on a branch there are three birds, one pink or red, one purple, and the other green. It will represent my family. I am planning on getting that on my left shoulder blade.

I'd like to get small footprints of each species of pet I have on the inside of my right wrist. So far, I'd be up to a dog paws print, and 2 different types of chicken tracks (silkie and australorp).

Don't have any tattoos yet, but i'll get some eventually.

haven't entirely figured out what, but dragons are pretty rad.

I have two tattoos. One is a treble cleft with four hearts over the top of it - one for each member of my family and then there is a heart in the center of the treble cleft for my dad's second heart (he had a transplant). That one's on my left arm. Then on the back of my right shoulderblade, I have a sparrow holding a key as a symbol of hope.

No tattoos, yet but I have a number of piercings.

I want to get my sister's name Tattooed in Japanese down my left side. I want to get a zipper down my back that's opening up to show my ribs and shoulder blade. I want a bar-code on the back of my neck. I want to get my friend's name, birth, and death date tattooed on my thigh.

I want to get several lines of poetry tattooed on my wrists, along with several Bioshock Tattoos hopefully for a sleeve. I want to ink myself in completely in my own artwork. I want, at some point, to have a heart tattooed behind my ear.
