  The Verge can be a harsh place, but if relaxation is more your thing, try a day relaxing on Brak'nesh, a planet made entirely of beaches! Immerse yourself in the Bazaars of Bazar! We're more than accommodating hosts.
  
  But if you are truly noble, truly pure of heart, and have the fastest ship in the cosmos, a sinister challenge awaits you, the TRIAL OF ATHENA! A race spanning millions of lightyears, with no lighthouses to guide you and danger lurking on every turn as you race through the entire galaxy in only a fortnight! Legend tells that the trial ends on a massive planet filled with nothing but treasure! Sounds like a pretty good haul to me!

  This RP will have you and a small crew exploring a massive galaxy filled with danger and treasure, and ultimately taking on the Universe's greatest adventure, the Trial of Athena. The RP will be more free-form than most, generally sticking to a diverse sci-fantasy genre. Details of the Verge are in flux, depending on what players want and do. The only rigid details are any specific lore bits and details I give you. Anything else is up for your input. You can make up your own planets, species, gadgets, NPCs, anything you feel will make the RP a more interesting story.

  The Sagan Divergence is a massive pocket of stars and nebulae between the Andromeda and Milky Way galaxies, where temporal, dimensional, and moral anomalies are quite common. While the Andromeda and Milky Way galaxies have a series of navigational space stations called Lighthouses, allowing for automatic navigation systems, (a system graciously stolen from elytra 's Old Universes RP), the Verge has very few in working order, making manual navigation neccesary. The RP takes place several million years in the future, so the Andromeda and Milky Way galaxies are much closer than they are now.
  
  The primary humanoid race are Orcs, which are a race of human descendants that, through breeding with other species, genetic experimentation, and mutation, have become incredibly diverse, taking countless variations on skin color, body shape, height, and mental acuity. Most are hunter-gatherers on jungle planets, but some are merchants and pirates in the space economy. The location between the Andromeda and Milky Way galaxies as well as the strange Rifts in time and space allow for infinite diversity in life.
  
  The history of the Verge and the surrounding universe is largely vague and unknown, being passed only through story and song for millions of years.
  
  Most of space in all three galaxies is widely uninhabited by space-faring peoples and has been for millions of years.

Alright, we have more than enough crewmates. Any preferences for playstyle? Do you want turnbased, do you want to use a dice system, do you want to do it freeform? Anything's on the table, as long as everybody else is cool with it.

Also if you have any ideas for characters I'd love to hear them and have y'all discuss with eachother.
