He was tired. More than tired, actually. He had been working far harder than usual because he wanted to reap the benefits of his goals. With a little sigh, he slumped down into the chair behind his desk, watching the video footage for the millionth time. There she was. His eyes trained over features he had seen hundreds of times over, but never got tired of - skin that looked like chocolate and smoother than the most expensive satin he could afford, eyes that were almost golden and gleaming, braided chestnut hair and that adorable little nose that he could have kissed. Lord, when did he get so... Disgustingly sappy? He scoffed at himself as he shut the laptop.

He hadn't been the one to plant the cameras in her home. No, he had other people for those sorts of things. The last thing he wanted to do was to get caught by the beautiful girl he was after. No, she wasn't going to see him in person yet. She had to know that he was what she deserved; the best. He hummed to himself, lips tight and straight. Not only would taking her make him feel complete, but she was in a dangerous business. An incredible hacker who always seemed to find herself in situations that were more than nasty. He loved that about her. Whether she got to chose whether she got into those situations or not, he couldn't help but admire a girl who liked danger.

The tiniest of smirks toyed at his thin lips as he stood to his feet, running his hands over the brown uniform he wore. His eyes darted up to the man who was standing guard at his door. Lutz Beilschmidt. The German man was perfectly suited to be his little guard dog. He was obedient, too. But there was laziness and sloppiness in his mannerisms that Luciano hated. But he wouldn't throw away such a man; willing and loyal to his death. It wasn't as if Luciano didn't know the affections Lutz had for him. He just didn't return it.

"Lutz."

"Yes?"

"Ready the car," Luciano almost purred, his Italian drawl lingering on the tip of his tongue, "we're going to pay la mia bella ragazza a visit."

She could spend years in the library, honestly. Many of her friends and family members wondered how she could deal with having such a 'mediocre' job, but she always said that it was the best job she could ever have; regular hours of nine-to-five, being able to help other people, and being able to read whatever she wanted to at any time, really. But there always came an end to good things. She was finally heading home from a long day of work.

"Oh, Mr. Potato Head, tell me, how did you afford her surgery?" Joy sang to herself, voice soft and high, as it always was when she sang anything - a natural soprano, "Do you swear you'll stay forever, even if her face don't stay together?~"

Sometimes she wondered why she never did anything like choir in high school. Then she remembered why. Her terrible stage fright. With a little sigh, she stepped outside and squinted a little. The light of the still blue sky was a sure sign that winter was over and spring was there. It was her favorite season, after all. She loved the sight of blossoming flowers and did enjoy gardening. She continued to hum as she walked down the street, holding her little pink, heart-shaped clutch at her side. Her phone was inside of it, as her pleated white skirt had no pockets. The price she payed to look cute.

"If you want a little more confidence, potatoes turn to french fries, yeah, it's common sense," she liked to sing, even in public, as she really didn't care about the weird looks some people she walked by would give her, "all you need's a couple more condiments and a hundred thousand dollars for some compliments~"
