She hid behind a piece of debris. She watched intently as she saw two razors running through the streets. She knew they would think of her as a machine, ignore her, because of her cyborg core. She didn't radiate heat like 'normal' humans did. As they passed, she got up. Her fingers were visible from her left iron glove and she walked down the streets, her eyes glowing. On the streets laid bodies, bones, families. She didn't cry, or shake, or frown. She only held her head high and continued walking. @Noyeh @NeoLeaf

Tree's footsteps echoed as he walked on what was once a maintained street.

On his right and left sides were his so called 'Dune Runners', which were escorting him appropriatedly. The creatures are a type of mamilian-reptile, warm blooded and yet having the features of both reptiles and mammals. Tough durable scales run down on the creatures back, a rubost physique that is close to that of a cheetahs and lastly the unique pair of limbs that have blades made of a bone-ish material.

Currently these creatures are only a few weeks old, They are the new batch that the young man had created to protect himself while exploring the city. His other creatures are either dead or elsewhere in the world. These critters number around a dozen - six on each side of the man. Tree was having a rough time lately. Razors coming after him and his critters all the time while he tries to forage for food and scraps.

This time in particular Tree's in dire need of clean water and food.

Feather walked into the crossroads. Her blonde hair blew in the wind and she clenched her iron fists. She heard a clinging of metal vibrating against metal. She spun around just as a razor leaped into the air. It let out rasping sound that echoed through the streets. She backed just as it hit her former position. She flung her leg up with a great force and it's head was cut off from it's body. Green liquid spilled out as the metal body fell to the ground.

More rasping sounds were heard and the sound of heavy, metal, paws came closer. She flicked her finger and her left leg opened up to reveal a plasma rifle. She grabbed it and as the first razor came into view, she fired, the body dropping to the ground. Four more appeared, and she shot three of them easily. The last one leaped into the air and landed on her, pinning her down.

A Dune Runner tackled the metalic feline seemingly out of no where and seven followed after that one and began to to attack the razor. The razor put a fight and injured one of the eight mammalian reptiles but all was in vain when the pack began to tear the synthetic apart with thier quick blade- like upper limbs. A robotic howl could be heard from the creature before it was turned into bits and bolts.

Tree came from a corner half limping and walking towards the woman's location. He leaned onto one his Dune Runners as he approached the overpowered female.

"Are you alright?" He asked in a faint whispery voice.

Noyeh was laying down on top of a roof of an apartment. He knew no robots would go up to a place that they investigated already. "Reverse Psychology? No matter." He was confident that no one would come up, if so, he would go through one of the Robot(s) and decay them enough that they wouldn't work.

Unfortunately, Noyeh got bored, as such, he went through the floor down to the first floor, he walked out of the building, being bounded to the ground. He walked normally as screams, yells, pleas were all over the place. Although hearing fast steps, he quickly ran to the noises. "Well look at that." He saw a razor blade and a.. a.. an alien?

Immediately Noyeh turned into Black Seithr, turning more liquidy, acting as fallen oil. A white mask was shown on the Black Seithr, seeing the fight and everything.

(Sorry for late post. Didn't get notification.)

Feather watched the fight, slightly amused. She got up on her feet as the man approached her.

She put the gun back into her leg and smiled, though her expression showed no emotion.

"I am." She said confidently, her voice echoing slightly.

"That's... great..." He replied and bowed his head down.

The Dune Runners came back towards Tree and helped him up. The pack of alien creatures spread out in a 10 meter radius and bustled about watching the empty streets and giving different hissing noises to one another. Tree stumbled foward and one of the Dune Runners 'caught' him. He looked up again to the girl.

"You wouldn't happen... to have food... would you?" He asked.

Feather raised an eyebrow but smirked, amused.

"No, but I happen to know where to find. Since I don't consume human food, I have no need of it." She replied.

She saw how weak he was and sighed. "Do you need some help?" She asked, reaching out her right hand for him. If he needed support she would gladly help. "It's a bit away, so you will eventually need it." She added with a more harsh tone.

"I... agree..." His dirty blond eyebrows narrowed when he replied to the girl's last sentence.

He threw out his right hand and grabbed her cold hand with what little energy he had left. At this point Tree didn't care who was helping him - He needed food and water to continue his bodily functions.

Feather smiled slightly, her eyes showing no emotion. She straightened him and laid his right arm over her shoulders so he could lean on her. She flicked her fingers and her leg opened up. She grabbed the plasma rifle and her leg closed.

"Just in case." She muttered to herself as she started walking with him leaning on her.

"So, what happened to you?" She asked, bored obviously.

Tree had pointed his eyes at the grey fire arm and his heart raced slightly out of the fear of death. The Dune Runners were weary and slowly followed along as Tree is supported by the small woman.

"In..." He began as they walked onward the rubble of the grey streets.

"In the past a couple of weeks ago I ran out of food and risked travelling with low supplies. I looked through smaller settlements and ruins around this city but found barely anything that could sustain me in the long-term scenario." He coughed dryly.

"I had only water to drink and I haven't had water in over a day. As bad luck has it, I lost my big main force of Dune Runners to an unsuspecting pack of one of those feline synthetics. They had the upper hand in strategic positioning and laid waste upon me and my swarm. I got out alive but I lost a huge number of Dune Runners to those pesky *cough* cats."

"I've now come to realize that we are running short of foragable food supply as I travelled to this big ruin." He kept his eyes on the ground.

Feather listened, aware of the Dune Runners that eyed her. She wasn't afraid, nor intimidated. "Well, seems a shame." Was all she said. She wasn't going to tell her whole life story to a complete stranger, but she might give him some details.

"A couple of weeks ago, I sounded the battle call myself. I lead the troops to the battle field. Basically, I caused D-Day." She said with a smirk. "Then someone had to knock be with a plasma rifle and disrupt my core.." She muttered more to herself.

"You know, I always found the razors to be more useful in small towns. Footers are better suited for big cities like these, more agile." She went on. She couldn't help but be an expert on her former companions. "Though they are a bit annoying, I'll admit. They refuse to shut up unless you kick their head off."

Tree's eyes had widened as he caught on to what she was saying and he was shocked.

"What are you saying?" He whispered under his breath.

Feather sighed. "You heard me, I used to be one of them. I am the cause of D-Day." She repeated, a bit annoyed. She heard a buzzing in her head and stopped. "Footers.." She hissed.

She shook Tree slightly. "Come on, let's move." She snapped as she started pushing him towards a big piece of debris. When they were near she hid behind it, her back leaning against the debris and both hands positioned on the plasma rifle.

Soon, 50 pair of metallic footsteps were heard, along with the screeching of robotic voices.

"Urgh!" Tree grunted as he was easily thrown back against a wall of rubble.

He opens his golden right eye and it dawns to him that they are in danger. The Dune Runners have already separated into different areas around him and are hidng and or ready to ambush. Tree's heart sank and he gritted his teeth against each other.

It's no use they'll find us anyway - like they always have...

Feather smirked. So what? She used telepathy to say to Tree. For once, she was glad that she could read minds. She rose up on her knees and fired her plasma rifle several times. She manage to shoot down about 10 of them before they became aware of her. She ducked before they could pinpoint her position and she snickered.

"They're stupid too.." She murmured.

She flicked her fingers again and her leg opened up to reveal plasma grenades. She took one out and armed it. She waited for a few seconds before throwing it into the swarm of Footers. They had no warning. It exploded, leaving 15 panic stricken Footers. They saw her as she ducked down and started firing at the debris.

"Now, your 'friends' could join in.." She said to Tree before she hopped out from the debris. The bullets bounced off of her armor as she charged.

The Dune Runners exploded from the piles of debri and assaulted one 'footer' individually. They assaulted the terminator-like robots as though they were raptors- jumping on them and stabbing them or decapitating them with their bony blades. Much like the episode with the synthetic feline that's dubbed 'razor', the 'footers' were torn apart into nothing but green liquid and circuit parts.

Tree stayed behind the debris. He's gonna take a break from walking and let his Dune Runners handle the left over footers. He breathed a sigh of relief that he didn't have to create more Dune Runners - He didn't want to worsen his condition by cutting his hand and using his blood. This little sherade wasn't enough to wipe away what she had said about the synthetics.Tree is a little skeptical but he isn't going to ask just yet until they've found a safe place with food.

Feather knocked into two Footers with a screech and knocked one head off with her elbow. She shot the other with a plasma bullet. She took out a grenade and as a footer ran towards her with jaws wide open, she stuffed it down his throat. He exploded, splattering the green, gooey liquid all over her armor.

Ugh... She doesn't hold back... Tree thought to himself as he couldn't help but smile a weak grin on his face.

He blinked before looking at one Dune Runner returned to his side to help him up and He breathed an embarassed sigh. The man buckled one leg and pushed himself against the Rubble that he hid behind. The ground gave way and he fell back down on his back.

"Pah..." Tree spat. Pathetic... His eyelids narrowed and one could read irratation on his face.

A footer came up behind the debri, raising his gun and aiming for Tree. Feather yowled and jumped in front of the bullet as it shot away. It hit her armor and bounced off, just barely missing her core entrance. She landed on one knee and glared at the footer. She shot off the ground and dragged the footer into the air, crashing down on top if it. The impact created a loud crash and a crater. She rose and looked down at the debri.

Tree's eyes were wide open with shock, His heart's beating at a fast pace and he's sweating excessively on his forehead when he saw that footer aiming at him. His heart sank when he heard the gun shot from the footer.

The girl arrived in a blur and protected him from the bullet. In a blink of an eye she exploded upwards with the synthetic humanoid and plummeted downward into the earth. The girl stood up from a crater and looked down at the rubble under her feet. Tree who's still suffering from the effects of the shcok, took his shaking right arm and grabbed the area of his heart with a twitching hand.

"...Close..." he mouthed with his dry lips.

Feather growled as a footer shot her leg with a plasma bullet. She knelt down on the ground and screamed in agony. The footer came up behind her and aimed for her head.

She snapped. She whipped around and kicked his head off. His head rolled away and the body fell, soaked in the green liquid. She fell down on her knees and then down on the ground.

Her body twitched and she clenched her fists.

"What?" Tree heard a shot and the girl's scream. The man pointed his eyes towards his Dune Runners and had a couple of them come to his aide.

Two Dune Runners grabbed his arms with their mouths and helped him move towards the girl. That blood curling scream was enough to get him worried to go check on her condition. He fought walked on the ground on his legs and had the Rune Runners drop him to the edge of the crater. He supported himself on his arms and had his eyes staring at the girl and the headless corpse of a footer at close proximitry of her.

He noticed her irregular movement and her leg seems to have a burnt hole.

Tree felt defenseless and acted on his vulnerablity. looked around for a sharp object and cut his thumb with a piece of metal. with a shaky hand he drew several triangles on a block and pushed it away from himself. In that instance the rock shook and red liquid erupted from it. The liquid morphed into five red shapes and expanded to the size comparable of a tank. The creatures have a rough and spiky exoskeleton, six fleshy limbs and a small head inside the exoskeleton as if it were a menacing turtle. Tank Slugs, Tree called them. Gaint walking slugs that shoot a powerful substance akin to acid.

They gave a low shrieking sound as the five moved around to protect the crater along with the dozen Dune Runners. Tree grabbed the edge of the crater, pulled himself foward and rolled downward next to her.

"Are you... *nhg...!* alright?" He asked as he ignored the burning sting of his thumb.

Feather closed her eyes as be body stopped twitching. She screamed again as she got up on one knee. "Aya!!" She yowled, her voice echoing.

The footers all stopped, their bodies falling to the ground as they were shut off.

Feather looked down at Tree. "Yes, but you are not." She said simply. She covered the hole in her leg with a hand and it glowed. She removed her hand to reveal her healed leg.

You don't say... He thought.

Tree was irratated by the comment but couldn't reply. A burning pain could be felt inside him... hunger and thirst... He slumped softly on the ground and laid there. He used up his last ounce of strength and is now paralysed. One eye is closed and the other eye his half open and resisting the urge of being closed.

"Food" He exhaled air rather than fully sounding the word.
