Realistic or Modern Survivor’s Tales Ep. 1 ((Always open to new Voters))

You shake your head and now it to the corpse of your once living Supervisor, he didn’t deserve a fate such as this but you knew if you did not want to meet the same end it would be best for you to leave. With that you turned back around and left the body behind, saying a soft prayer to the Judge of Morality for the man’s judgement to be gentle. With that you began to head back the way you came, it had been some distance to where you started but you knew these tunnels, it was not going to be hard to find a way back but… Did you even want to go back there far? For all you knew there was something in these tunnels with you.

————————————————————
Where will you exit?

A. Nearest exit. *Test your luck* (I roll a die with the room options as numbers and go with that choice.)

B. Engineer knowledge. (You knew these tunnels, maybe it was better to decide your own exit.)
B-1: Upper Research (3rd Floor of Habitat)
B-2: Officer’s Lounge (3rd Floor of Habitat)
B-3: Control room (3rd Floor of Habitat)

You decided that the best course of action was going to be finding your way to the Officer’s lounge. Maybe there’d Be something useful there, or at least it might offer some answers as to what was going on with the Station. But it was a bit of a trek from where you were, one you were still willing to make it seems. This trek wasn’t much of anything, you didn’t find anything horrible aside from some loose wiring or maybe a burst pipe or two leaking some steam or water, Nothing to cause a major problem yet. The only concerning things were minor and unfamiliar sounds, and you would later swear you heard a voice in those tunnels.
Eventually you reached the panel that lead into the Officer’s lounge, it was slightly ajar already and you could see the room was pitch black. It would appear whatever emergency lighting the room had was not working, whether it was broken or some of that wiring you found earlier was the cause was unknown. But, you could smell it again, that unusual metallic smell of blood, something had happened in here too…

————————————————————
How will you enter the room?

A. Enter the darkness and try to find the doorway (You’d have to be careful not to trip over anything, who knew if something was listening in the dark.)

B. Go back and check the nearby wiring (Maybe that’d Help light up the situation.)

C. Use the H.U.D. (You had those glasses… goggles, whatever they were for a reason, they’d help you turn the lights on hopefully.)

You looked down to your waist as the darkness waited, you could barely see as it was but you felt around and grabbed the H.U.D. and began to put them on. Tapping at them a bit they flickered to life as the area around you began to glow as it designated electrical currents passing through the walls and gave warning indicators of various issues with the systems. It was quite a bit to take in for the untrained mind but you had been doing this for some time now. With that you moved the panel aside and slowly made your way into the darkness as you looked about, following the main current through the wall as it lead you to… You looked above you in the pitch black mess as a warning indicator appeared over the highlight of the emergency light. Warning: Connector Loose, maintenance required. The warning read plain and simple, with a sigh you shook your head and reached up to mess with the wire poking out from the side, with a little push you flinched and stumbled back as the red light came alive and shined right into your face.
With that out of the way you removed the H.U.D. and began to look around, the emergency light in this room didn’t rotate as the other one’s did but instead simply dimmed and brightened as it lit the room and alerted those within… Or it would have if there was anyone there other than you. Taking in the scene, it was almost pristine in here, all as it was before whatever happened but you saw one thing out of order. A body off in a corner, wearing a white jumpsuit, much like a prison uniform but you recognized it as one belonging to one of the *ahem* Testers of the facility. Aside from that there were plenty of things laying on the tables and counters of this room. Perhaps you could find something here…

————————————————————
What is your next course of action?

A. Try the door (It was closed and seemingly undamaged)

B. Search the room (Who knows what you might find of use in here)

C. Investigate the body (Perhaps they had something on them, perhaps they weren’t dead)

I can tell you that the ace one is gray black and white.

In fact, I have a version of my avi that has the ace pride flag behind it.

And now I've changed to it.

Oh okie I was thinking that was the pan flag… *Mumbles about forgetting own flag color, dishonor on cow.*

Fair enough Backset fair enough.
Oki let me continue our story in a second. XD

You decide to check the room for anything useful, maybe you’d find a snack or two! You chuckled somberly as the idea went through your brain, hunger at a time like this? You shook your head as you began to look around in the red light, your search so far yielding a few cups, some still with warm coffee in them. A few unfinished protein bars… A couch you didn’t know they had put in here, and between those very cushions, an ID card belonging to one Vincent Tiberius. A member of the Expidition forces, looks like he left it behind at some point, this would get you into most of the places in the station without trouble if the readers still worked. But you weren’t sure if they implemented the new Biometric scanners either…
You continued to search the room, doing your best to avoid looking at the body in the corner of the room. But aside from a few snacks or cups in varying degrees, one smashed on the floor. You didn’t find much that might end up being of use, there was a communication band but you didn’t quite think it would be of much- “Well well well~” You nearly leapt out of your jumpsuit when you heard the voice and quickly turned around to where it came from, but found nothing, much like the noises back in the service tunnels. Was your mind playing tricks on you? Either way you were done looking, and with that voice maybe it was time to leave. But wait, you swore you saw something in one of the hands of that body during one of your subconscious glances at it, maybe it wasn’t time to leave yet…

————————————————————

Do you leave or go to the body?

A. Leave (Screw that voice and screw that body, you hadn’t even met anything dangerous yet but you weren’t going to test anything!)

B. Check the Body (Maybe it did have something useful…)

(Ah yes, all is according to plan! You see this was never an actual Quest RP, but a ploy to make people agree and see they are not different!! *Maniacal laughter.*)

You looked towards the door and shook your head, no, not yet. You turned your head to the body over in the corner and sighed as you walked over to it. Reaching the body of a man you knelt down and looked at the white jumpsuit, on it read the designation given to the tester. Subject #947, you bowed your head and began to say a soft pray before you saw it in his hands. You reached your hand out and pulled it out of his limp, still warm hand. It was one of the pistols you always saw on the security and Expidition teams.
You lifted it up to examine it, one of the newer energy weapons Wizard’s Way had been working on. You’d seen the schematics once or twice since these things did eventually need repairs but this one seemed almost pristine save for a spot of dried blood on the barrel. You didn’t care to think whose but if you had to guess… You looked back to the man’s face in the red light, a small amount of smoke rose from his forehead and you closed your eyes. At least he chose his fate. “Coward…” The voice was there again, clearer now and distinctly male, this time you turned around with the pistol up, ready to fire, but again there was nothing but you felt this tug in the back of your brain. One telling you to not be scared.
Shaking it off you stood up and looked to the pistol once more before heading towards the door. You were done in this room, you knew that much and you were hoping to get away from that voice. You tried the handle to the door, locked, but… You pulled your new badge from your belt and pushed it to the scanner near the door as into beeped softly and an audible *click* was heard from the door. Now you were in the Officer’s lounge, if you remembered right there were three ways you could go…

————————————————————
Where to?

A. Labs (At least they did the sane stuff there)

B. Observation Room (Well at least you’d get to see the ocean one last time, and maybe the condition of the rest of the station while you were at it.)

C. Control Room (Head of operations… and Access to the Armory…)

(QUESTION TIME!!! Do you guys want a little section in the extra pages consisting of the items you’ve collected and a possible map of the place, and any knowledge you gain? Cuz I’ll make it, and yes I have drawn maps of the place. Makes tracking where to go easier and helps me sort of run this like a DM XD)
