Sugar Glider owners/lovers

Kestrel

Angel with a Shotgun
Hey, y'all. I'm Kestrel, or Kes for short. Since you clicked on this, you probably own sugar gliders, love them, or you're wondering what in the world is a sugar glider.

They're a hamster-sized marsupial native to Australia. They're nocturnal, cuddly and really super cute. Look them up.

See? This is my baby, Vex.

Anyway, I was just wondering if anyone else here owned some, or had stories about them, etc.

I heard somewhere that it wasn't good to have these thingies as pets because they should be in the wild and yada yada. Dont remember where and from who though.

They are exotic pets, and there are always people who are against owning pets, especially exotics. There are people that breed them in captivity, and since they're bred as pets, they can't live on their own in the wild.
