It's smothering, so hot and dense that the air felt like heated molasses. A red room, composed of four walls of brick, dripping with some foriegn liquid. You swear it's blood, the thick crimson substance indistinguishable from what pattered onto the floor and your upturned face. There's a hole in the wall in front of you, and you struggle to rise out of the chair you're in. The shackles hold fast. Another chair of the same light-colored leather sits in front of you, empty. Sloppy handiwork, it seems by the seams. Stitched together quite hastily, not to mention...hairy...
Feeling nauseous, you lean down, about to start dry-heaving. The rhythm of someone walking catches your ear. It sounds like someone's coming! Finally, you're saved! Eyes slowly rising as the footsteps stop at the door, you see a pair of black Chuck Taylor high-tops...a pair of faded jeans...and a black letterman jacket, a cartoon pair of horns and a forked tail on the right side where the team emblem should be. Crackling, like a fire, is soft, yet discernable, along with the occasional soft kssh of water evaporating.
The man's face...or lack thereof...is on fire. A grinning, white skull engulfed in dark blue flames stares back at you. Its empty eye sockets are an endless abyss that sends chills down your spine. It opens its mouth to speak...somehow.
"Welcome to Hell, bud. Hope you enjoy your stay."

welp, welcome to the world of Stulti Paradisum, Fool's Paradise. you've died and found out that there's just one big pit used as an underworld! are you a scared innocent, one of the Lost? or are you a little more devious, one of the Damned? who's this guy with the fire skull, a very realistic Ghost Rider cosplay? probably not. i hope you enjoyed this more than i enjoyed writing it, and even more that you'd like to participate in the rp! thanks, any questions would be awesome.
yeah, not really religious, just tearing off the whole Hell theme from Christianity and the singular Underworld from Greek.
