Plot
Acadia University is marked as the one of the oldest universities in the modern world. There is no clear date of when it was founded, but teaching existed at its earliest form in 1000โs and developed rapidly since. Being one of the top Universities in the world, only the top 1% of students get it (albeit be top 1% in wealth and not grades). The University is often closed off to anyone outside this class, save for a select few scholarship students. Scholarships are handed out to a an average of four students a year. The University is compromised of five distinct colleges, each with their own styles of teaching. The University also home to a variety of societies that encourage socialisation, discussion and growth.
With all this said, all the students in the University aim towards one goal, the aim to win Student of The Year. Student of The Year is an award and a privilege given to one student from the entire university once every year. The recipient of this award goes on to receive great sponsors and a head start way above all the other students not only in their major but the entire University. Of course, when fighting for such a prize a lot of drama, anger, blackmail, bribery are also set in motion as well as Student of The Year has now become more than just a head start for most students. It's pride, reputation, vanity and a testament to the character of the winner.

Societies
Acadia is home to 300 different societies however it is three societies that stand out to a lot of the students. The Charlington Club, Research and Debate Society and Polo Society.
โ First is the infamous Charlington Club. The Charlington Club is an exclusive society. It is a male only society that requires its members to undergo extreme tasks set by the club head and members. The society has been protested against numerous times by the student body for endangerment however nothing has come out of it.
โ Second is the Research and Debate Society. This society encourages the future leaders of tomorrow to join and test their wits against one another. Things are said to get very intense once actually inside the debating environment.
โ Finally, the Polo Society is home to one of the oldest sports played at the University. Unfairly, the Polo Society members seem to enjoy privileges that other students may not be able to ascertain such as extended time on deadlines
