Roleplay Type(s)
Katherine moved through the vast forest, her breath heavy and slow. Her amethyst scales shimmered as they reflected the light that escaped through the thick canopy above. Her movements were slow and controlled, lifting her heavy paws off the grass and setting them down. Her wings were folded across her sides and her claws glistened. Her eyes glowed a yellow/amber shade, her gaze concentrated on her path ahead.

Katherine stopped and lifted her head, burning warm steam escaping her nostrils. She blinked once, and then turned back to her path,
continuing to stroll ahead. Her long tail trailed behind her, the spikes moving up her slim back and up to her neck. Her soft belly brushed against the long grass and she let out a low growl as she scented something.

(Sorry, I was very busy.)

Strewn about the forest, Lakhvild had left several rather extremely large moss covered boulders in the same area as he, which surrounded him to make his ground sunken body appear more natural in the opening of this rather beautiful forest he had called his new home. His body was almost completely submerged, the only thing sticking out being the obscenely large horn sticking out on his back. At this point however it looked like a very shiny, perfectly and symmetrically shaped piece of highly refined ore. His slumbering at this point, was almost completely unnoticeable, as to keep from drawing any unwanted attention to himself. He found it easier to prevent what had happened earlier down his long life, his he only searched for food during the night, when nobody was sane enough to go into the forest. He was not nocturnal, but his eyes could still adjust to the dark as if he were still living in a cave. However, this also did not impede his vision when walking in the light of the sun. He enjoyed the land here, so large, intricate, and green. There was no pollution of any sort and no hunters, and as such made it less of a hassle for him in the end.

Katherine continued her walk through the forest. She heard something, and started running. Her eyes narrowed and she opened her jaws slightly, a blue light building up.

Her wings slightly lifted off her sides and she growled. She suddenly stumbled on something that looked like a boulder covered in moss, but it was much softer. Katherine yowled and fell, sweeping her tail over the soft boulder. She rolled away from it from the speed in which she had fallen, and rolled into an actual boulder. (She stumbled on him.) @ImpureBreed

From the rather large interruption in his sleep, the insect dragon awoke slightly, shaking around in his small hole of which he fit perfectly snug into. The two wing coverings on his back opened and his vibrant orange insectoid wings began to vibrate rhythmically, lending out an extremely high-pitched humming noise, louder than any other bug that existed in any lifetime. He slowly rose from his little hole in his ground, shaking the dirt and moss off of him and shambling away, half awake, back to the lake, in which to clean himself off with. He was, in all sense of the word, oblivious to his surroundings early in the morning and in every sense of the phrase, not a morning 'person'. Every step he took produced a small vibration in the ground that could be sensed from somewhat far away even. He knew not why he woke up early in the morning, but that he did, and that there was no going back to sleep until later.

Katherine slowly rose as the dragon walked away. She spread her wings and followed him, curious as to what he was doing. She watched him closely as he washed himself, suddenly feeling small. She was half his size, meaning she was probably half as strong.

Blue steam escaped her nostrils and a yowl escaped her open jaws. Her eyes glowed threateningly and she yowled again, trying to get his attention.

As Lakhvild was cleaning any debris off of himself, he could hear slight noises coming from the sky. Not sure how cautious how to be he raised one of his more larger arms out of the water. Slowly, his fist was imbued with a kind of green and white aura which soon turned fiery with some tints of yellow, almost like a green flame. The leftover water could be seen turning into steam from the obvious amount of heat the the large beast had been concentrating into his hand. He then slowly turned his head, giving off a type of cold, calculating stare at the other beast. From what he observed, it was also dragonic, but something was different about it. It had an aura about it that didn't show in other dragons he knew about. Slowly, a small ball of destructive energy began to form in his hand, nothing so small that the explosion would be extremely noticeable from yards away, but small enough to be, at the same time big enough, to get the point through that he would attack if provoked.

Katherine crouched low against the grass, lashing her tail. She suddenly sat up, ears pricked, and stared at Lakhvild. She yowled, and her eyes glowed a cyan color. She got up on all fours and spread her wings. She saw him create a small ball of energy and hissed. She jumped up into a tree with thick branches, and laid down on one of them, her tail hanging down. She snorted and flicked her tail, a blue mist of fire escaping her jaws, but not enough to start a fire. Her wings rested on her back and she gazed down on him. She hissed once more, lashing her tail and clawing at the branch with her sharp claws.

Clearly this 'dragon' was not interested in Lakhvild, as least from what he knew, but he was intent on preventing any form of confrontation. He threw the ball into the water which was quickly followed by a large bout of steam and an explosion. It was at that time that the insect dragon took his leave, as quickly as he possibly could. He rolled into a ball and rolled away as fast as he possibly could while the steam was still up. He dashed around trees, roots, steep cliffs, and finally into a small cavernous little cave. He wasn't up for a confrontation and he definitely wasn't up for making any friends as well, which included the dragon.

Katherine snarled at the steam and flew out of the tree, taking cover. She wasn't very fond of water, to say the least. She saw him rolling away and growled. She folded her wings and ran through the trees. She could scent him ahead of her and kept going, a bit more stealthy. She saw him hide in a cave and climbed a tree, her claws scratching against the bark. She yowled and flapped her wings as she shot out of the tree, landing on the stone cave's roof. Some small rocks fell at the movement and they scrambled down the walls, a few landing outside the cave-mouth. She lashed her spiky tail and yowled a bit louder, attempting to draw him out of the cave. She knew if she'd go in there, she wouldn't have a chance. @ImpureBreed

From the point in which he finished rolling, Lakhvild could sense the 'dragon' above him, so the only natural step was to dig his self away from the persistent pest. With a powerful punch, he hit the wall of the small cave, caving in the entrance. From this point, he stared at the ground, his vision picking up in the newly darkened area, and he sensed where to dig. Vigorously, he clawed at the dirt with all four arms, tunneling himself deep underground. He wasn't trying to make a complex cave system, so just dug every which way until he knew where he was heading. Back to the destination in which he encountered the dragon to say the very least. He wasn't done cleaning up, and all this only made him muddier in the end.

Katherine sensed him escaping and snorted. Coward. I wasn't going to hurt him.. She thought. She spread her wings as she laid down and covered herself in them. She used camouflage to look like part of the rock formation and sighed. She needed to take a nap.
