Just some random stuff I wanted to say

Well, if I'm honest. I'm kinda disappointed with Garnet/Pearl fusion. Not that Sardonyx doesn't look cool, her personality I can not tell because I have only a short clip to draw from. She just doesn't really seem like Garnet and Pearl.


Since we've had building anticipation for Pearlnet I guess that's why I feel off about it. IDK, personally I like some of the fan art a lot better.

I'm sure I love Sardonyx, it just feel weird to me.


1- Inpart because Sardonyx is made of Sard and Onyx [creative name isn't it?]


2 - Merely a feeling, doesn't feel like Pearlnet to me xD


3 - It seems odd that her outfit is mostly black, when Sardonyx isn't characteristically mostly black. I suppose it's fine though, she is technically wearing a tux of sorts. This is a dumb thing to be annoyed over but I am a bit xD


4 - Also, tux. Seems weird, a bit random.


Anyway, that's the end of my pointless ramblings that won't matter later. I bet after I watch the actual episode I won't give a shit anymore xD

Funny thing is, my birthstone is Sapphire. Not that I believe in that junk being true (> ). Just think it's funny when little connections happen.

Finally caught up and watched both of the new episodes. I have so many feels about Sardonyx and i just wonder how awesome it would be if Opal, Sugalite and Sardonyx could actually meet and duke it out, cause it seems Pearl's/Garnet's pride really comes out when they fuse vs Opals relative calmness. And of course Sugalite was just awesome even though she just showed him for two seconds.


I swear I wanted to cry in the latest episode. Both for Sapphire and Ruby and how fusion really means a lot to them, as well as poor Steven being steamrolled by them. I think the main arc for him this season is just going to be finding his voice as a leader within the crystal gems. Having them be able to care for him and want to take care of him but realizing he's a leader in his own right. Like idk I have so many feelings!


 
Also I hadn't noticed that about sardonyx lol though it reminds me of another cartoon, like maybe futurama cause they have bulgy eyes in that show lol

Unfortunately I don't see any way those fusions could duke it out unless there's crazy cloning shenanigans, buy it's a crazy cool idea

You know Adult Swim did come from Cartoon Network! lol I don't know I was tired after work, mind not firing on all cylinders. Yeah there just wasn't that much in the episode to really get a hold of what Onion's deal is. I mean he speaks really weird and his mom can understand him, but do we know if it's supposed to be another language? Like one only he and his dad speak or can anyone else understand him? That secret room also was kinda weird too. You're super right about it just bringing up more questions.
