Name: Supreme Chancellor Utrili
Race: Human
Info: Originally from Ord Mantell, Kristo Utrili is Lina Soh’s successor, though technically came into office following Dakum Vos, who had the lowest approval rating in Galactic Republic history. Officially sworn in on 109 BBY, Utrili was given a monumental task right out of the gate. It’s widely believed that the diplomatic mess left behind by former Chancellor Vos is what lead to the Separatist War, but the wise tutelage of his old mentor Soh, helped steer his leadership in the right direction. Post Separatist War, Utrili continues to make great strides in reestablishing diplomatic relations with the Outer Rim, spearheading his well-intentioned campaign for peace with Operation Life Raft.

The Lighthouse Crew

Name:
Din Fekusa
Race: Bothan
Title: Admiral (Leader) of The Lighthouse Crew
Info: Designated leader of The Lighthouse Consular Frigate, Admiral Din was personally tasked by Chancellor Utrili himself to lead this expedition into the Outer Rim beyond. Known to be a down-to-earth bothan with levelheaded charisma, Din was close to several of the officers reported missing. While cautiously optimistic, he believes in the success of Operation Life Raft, and hopes to reunite with the forgotten very soon.

Name: Iatu Norn
Race: Sullustan
Title: Commander (Second-in-command) of The Lighthouse Crew
Info: He originally served under Admiral Din Fekusa on The Ironspear during the Separatist Rebellion. Known for his efficiency on the battlefield with limited resources, Commander Iatu is a realist that is always ready for the worst case scenario. With retirement on his mind, the sullustan was reluctant to join Admiral Din for Operation Light Raft. Its rumored that his recruitment was made solely based on an intense game of Dejarik. Commander Iatu firmly denies this claim.

9AEF0DFD-7844-44F5-B788-236EC4ACC570.jpeg
Name: Jul Oyesema
Race: Mirialan
Title: Jedi Master Archaeologist
Info: Jul was transferred from the Jedi Service Corp’s Exploration Branch. Her status within theHierarchy is unconventional, as her expertise in archaeology and research in ancient alien civilizations is what earned her the rank of Master. That’s not to say she isn’t worthy of her station, as you’d be hard pressed to question the approval of Master Yoda himself. Regardless of what the order might think of her, she intends to find her former Master Shimun, and bring her back to safety.

a280c6338939af98f43d84adb42af455.jpg
Name: DX27
Race: Droid
Title: Bridge Officer
Info: DX27 acts as both automated pilot and communications officer for The Lighthouse. He is rarely seen outside of the bridge or cockpit, and will only deviate from his tasks unless he needs a moment to recharge.

b75a8741df7d91fd94dccf2221eafc26.jpg
Name: Whaw Flontos
Race: Ithorian
Title: Chief Engineer
Info: Whaw is the Lighthouse's designated Chief Engineer. He is a friendly, happy-go-lucky Ithorian who likens maintaining the upkeep of the ship to precious fauna. The greenery displayed throughout the ship is courtesy of his collection.

fe21fcf2861940ee9263c477b98a2d5a.jpg
Name: Varti Nalak
Race: Chandra-Fan
Title: Navigations Officer
Info: Varti is the Lighthouse's navigation officer. While the ship's navi systems are in sync with DX27's programming, the droid concedes to the Charda-Fan's experience, earned from his previous station on board the Ironspear.

963c9c015a61ab5b4c7395fccd7debf1.jpg
Name: Moro Karta
Race: Kaminoan
Title: Chef
Info: Moro Karta was originally a chef to his own restaurant 'Flavor Oasis' in Starlight Beacon before he was transferred over to the Lighthouse. His recommendation came from Diplomat Xul Drafix, who frequented the Kaminoan's shop whenever he had work on the station. Moro is an impeccable chef that believes food is art. His main motivation for joining Operation Life Raft was to expand his palette with Outer Rim cuisines.

brian-matyas-10.jpg

Name: Elima Dencar
Race: Human
Title: Lieutenant Republic Trooper
Info: Elima served during the 'Siege of Coruscant' when Darth Atrigan led the UIA on their final assault on the core planet. She was recommended by Chancellor Utrili himself to be reassigned to The Lighthouse Crew.

Miscellaneous

Name: Darth Atrigan
Race: Unknown
Info: A thorough investigation from the Jedi Order has produced a lackluster understanding of this man's true identity. The only irrefutable claim they have on file is that he isn't affiliated with Bane's Order of the Sith Lords, a fact expressed wholeheartedly by surviving acolytes of that sect. Atrigan and his Illusive Order are anomalies who've gone through extreme measures to remain unseen. If Master Yoda didn't foresee the invisible plot weaved by Darth Atrigan to execute the Senate, and destroy the Jedi Temple on Coruscant, the galaxy would've been a much different place. Thankfully, Darth Atrigan died at the hands of Master Yoda in a breathtaking duel above the Coruscant Senate Building; They fought from starship-to-starship as Republic and UIA fleets swarmed the skies, leaving a hail of destruction in the wake of their battle.

Name: Captain Vaujay "Steel" Laviken

Age: 34

Race: Human

Physical Description: Captain Steel is a very tall, broad-shouldered man, standing at around 6'3" and weighing 200 pounds. He has close-cropped black hair and dark brown eyes, as well as a closely shaven beard that frames his often set jaw. A long scar runs across his right cheek down his jaw where a vibroknife nearly killed him earlier on in his career, the most pronounced of several markings of battlefield injuries he carries from the Separatist rebellion. His rigid posture gives away his military service whether in or out of uniform. The red paint of his armor is standard for his unit, though he carries the mark of a Captain on his shoulder.

While certainly not unattractive, he pays very little attention to his appearance outside of what is necessary for the sake of professionalism, leaving little to his face but scars and a seemingly never wavering scowl. Maybe if he smiled every once and a while, he'd clean up nicely. He certainly wouldn't know, or care. His near outright refusal to doff his armor leaves him fairly pale in complexion. Regular intense exercise and training keeps him heavily muscled; what he lacks in social finesse, he makes up for in brawn.

His weapon of choice, the DC-13 blaster rifle, is rarely not in his hands or on his back. A vibroknife rests in a sheathe at his waist, alongside a pair of lighter blaster pistols. He is almost never seen outside of his standard armor, even when off duty, and even in the rare exceptions to this rule, he is likely in a dress uniform unless resting.

Profession: Soldier

Personality: First impressions of Captain Steel often leave others thinking he is either standoffish, cold, overly rigid, or all of the above. At times he can be humorless and even outright socially clueless, but he very rarely means any offense by his behavior. He firmly believes anything that is worth doing is worth doing right, and doing it right will generally mean obeying orders and following the rules. Further interaction with him reveals a fiercely loyal and caring leader that strives to protect those that depend on him above all else, even his otherwise inflexible dedication to protocol. There is nothing in the world that is more important to Captain Steel than his loyalty to his men, to the Republic, and to the Republic's citizens.

When it comes to matters of leadership, he is very self-assured, almost never hesitating to make snap decisions under pressure. Conversely, it can be very difficult to convince him that he is wrong about something.

History: Will DM!

Abilities:

+Tactical Acumen/Leadership: Steel is an astute and intelligent leader that keeps a level head even when under fire.
+Physical Conditioning: Steel is a large man that engages in regular exercise and training, and as such is very athletic and fairly quick.
+Military Training: Steel has received standard Trooper training and has more than a decade of service in the Republic armed forces. As such, he is experienced with blasters, vibroknives and explosives.
+Corpsman Training: Corpsmen being a frontline section of medics in the Republic Navy frequently attached to units of troops, Steel found his natural drive to protect his comrades drew him to the more medically inclined field. Even as a Captain, he tended to take on an almost doctoral role in his unit, even despite his somewhat lacking bedside manner.

-Socially Inept: Outside of leading, Captain Steel is an impersonal and unapproachable person that doesn't seem to know what a smile is. Diplomacy and deception aren't a part of his vocabulary.
-Technically Challenged: While capable of making basic repairs to firearms and vehicles, Captain Steel has always struggled with computers and otherwise more technical work.

Name: Xul Drafix
Age: 35
Race: Falleen

Physical Description: Xul is 6’2” and 220 lbs, embodying the prime aesthetic of a healthy falleen specimen. His silver eyes contrast against his light green complexion, adorning the typical ponytail hairstyle that is popular among his kin. He dresses in tailored noble linens, capes, and gold accoutrements, which carry a cultural significance not meant to flaunt wealth or status. A blaster that was passed down to him as a family heirloom is strapped to his hip.

Profession: Galactic Republic Diplomat

Personality: Xul is not your typical falleen in that he openly expresses his emotions, and uses his words and charisma over releasing pheromones to influence people. He exudes the regalia of nobility and class when the occasion demands it, but gravitates more toward candid exchanges. His political ideology is that of a philosophical idealist, but when it comes to getting things done, he is far from a dreamer; the work he’s done as a Senator of the Doldur Sector is proof of this.

History: Xul hails from a noble line of falleen known for artistry, writing, and philosophy. Compared to the more rigid parentage of a typical royal, this liberal upbringing played a significant role during his Rite of Passage. When a noble falleen is of age, they are given the opportunity to explore the galaxy. This tradition is meant for them to gain perspective, but more often than not, reinforces a bias of cultural superiority. Rather than look down on the rest of the galactic community like most of his peers did, Xul Drafix embraced them wholeheartedly; enamored by the grand scale of cooperation between vastly different civilizations. His trip to the Senate in Coruscant influenced his career in politics, solidifying his ambition when he was only halfway through his Rite of Passage. He immediately signed up to the Legislative Youth Program, and the Apprentice Legislature, spending years as an understudy to Senator Graxim, the acting representative of Falleen. He’d eventually succeed Graxim, and played a relatively moderate role in the sector’s theater of politics, until the Separatist War broke out.

With the Mid and Outer Rims in chaos, Senator Xul had a massive undertaking with his sector. By working with the falleen Nobles and the local Trade Companies, Xul coordinated a Refugee Relief Movement in the Doldur Sector, effectively moving innocent lives away from major battles, and negotiating terms between the Galactic Republic and the UIA, preventing far more deaths and System wide economical meltdowns than anticipated. This move in turn put several noble families in a position of power, who operated as an extension of Xul’s diplomacy. The task was a difficult one, and while he made a lot of mistakes along the way, his efforts were acknowledged by Supreme Chancellor Utrili, who requested that he facilitate diplomatic relations for Operation Life Raft.

Abilities:
Charm, Leadership, Knowledge, and Negotiation

Everything you’d expect from a diplomat can be found in Xul Drafix and more. Perhaps his most effective quality is his genuine empathy, the true driving force behind his abilities. There is a running joke in the Senate that when speaking on Xul Drafix, they thank the taxi driver that took him to the Senate, and not Coruscant’s Underworld, for they feared what kind of Criminal Overlord he would’ve become had he been lead down such a path.

Name: Mercury and Danicel Starrider

Age: 18

Race: Human Jedi / Padawans

Physical Description: Both boys are identical apart from Mercury having a scar going through his left eyebrow and the fact he has a robotic left arm. They are well built and both have Blonde hair and striking aqua eyes.

Profession: Jedi Padawans

Personality: Mercury has a thing for always pushing his limits with the Jedi code. He's always been the rebel of the group. He also trys not to have a strong connection with the force and he likes to be in control of his own destiny.

Danicel is much different from his elder twin. He has a stong connection with the force and this can lead him to being over come by it. Often going into trances with it for hours to days. The council has even considered making him a master even at his young age, but they worry as what that would do to Mercury. Mercury already balances on a knife edge and they can only do what is necessary to keep the boys balanced. This is why Danical is not a master and won't be for a while. And he is glad for it. Even tho he has his lightsaber, he will always try to find a peaceful alternative were no one dies, unlike Mercury who would rather kill first then ask questions.

History: Both boys were born into royal blood on Naboo and kept safe under the watchful eye of there mother. Unfortunately no one knew who their father was and it was believed to be someone who had fallen to the darkside of the force. But needless to say from darkness came light when twin boys where born.
Mercury and Danical grew up never knowing about there father or who he may be. It wasn't until they where of 3 years of age that their mother knew she could no longer hide her children from the Jedi.
She handed them over to the Jedi council in tears and never saw her boys again.
Both boys exceled in training, but one had a darkness in him.
As teens Mercury had always been trying to push the limits and had been reprimanded on many occasions by his Master.
Both boys had always been inseparable. One full of light and peace, the other full of raw emotion, but together they created a balance between themselves and the force stayed strong within them.
That was until Mercury lost an arm in battle. After that even with the robotic replacement of his left arm... he started to shut himself out of the force and not let people close to him.

Abilities: Both brothers have been trained in the skill of the lightsaber and both of there's are the color of Gold.
Danical has been known to stop flying blasts from a gun in mid air with the force although he got his brother to shoot at him when he was highly focussing on nothing but the gun and the blast ray.
Needless to say their Master was impressed... but also frustrated that they had somehow got their hands on a blaster and willingly shot it at each other.
Danicel has never succeeded in doing this in battle mainly because his Master won't allow him to try it on the field yet.
He will always go to use the force before he even touches his lightsaber. Killing for him is the last option.
Mercury how ever loves using his lightsaber and has also been known to be a skilled marksman with a blaster although the blaster was found by his Master and taken away. He rarely ever uses the force.

Miscellaneous: Danical has a sweet tooth and Mercury actually likes reading although he would never admit to it.

Name: Altair Capella

Age: 50

Race: Nautolan

Physical Description: Strong, muscular and is always well dressed. His skin color is a deep turquoise with various different patterns over his body.

Profession: Master Jedi

Personality: He can come across as hard and assertive, but once you get to know him it is only because he cares. He has a big heart and has a soft spot for his two padawans, Mercury and Danicel.
He is stubborn at times but only when he his 100 percent sure his way is the right way.

History: Growing up he was always at the top of his class. He was smart and always held a high respect for his elders.
It wasn't untill he was a Master was when he was given his hardest task... keeping two twin boys who where strong in the force in line. He soon grew to love the two human boys and thought of them as his own. He never knew what it was like to have children, but the twins where the closest he would ever get to experiencing it.
Mercury was his trickster and Altair had stopped him on many a time from pranking the elders.
Danicel was different again. He was a deep thinker and always held the elders in high respect.
Together the boys were a perfect balance between mischief and harmony.
It was when the boys were 16 that Altair failed them. His own padawas hurt on a mission.
Danicel had survived the rock fall with only a few broken bones... but Mercury... His left arm was completely crushed behond repair.
Danicel grew closer to his Master after this, but Mercury grew further away from him.
Altair had blamed himself for this and continues to try and mend the bond between Master and Padawan.
What happened that day had changed Mercury and all Altair could try and do was direct him to the light.

Abilities: He is strong in the force, but not like his Padawan Danicel. Altair's is very wise and from the force has been able to learn and white many books for the library.
In combat he is a force to be recond with. Not only is his physical strength incredible, but with his two blue lightsaber he is a master in hand to hand combat.

Miscellaneous: He will always protect the weaker people before the stronger. He is more of a protector and will never start a fight, but he'll finish them.

Name: Aurora Australis
Age: 20
Race: Zabrak and Human hybrid.
Physical Description: Lylack eyes and purple skin with dark purple hair. She also has light purple markings on her forehead and under her eyes. Credit to the artist in the face clame.
Profession: Smuggler
Personality: Determined and cheeky. Being a smuggler since she was a child has led to a habit of stealing. She also loves going to the club and having a bit of fun. She is a force to be reckoned with in the skies as she was trained by her father who was a Zabrak Smuggler.

History: Aurora grew up on her father's ship and never knew her mother as she died giving birth.
Aurora learned everything from her father and soon started winning races at the age of 5 for extra pocket money.
Having become an excellent pilot from a young age her father knew he could count on her to help him with his business.
She also learned how to smuggle things in plain sight. How to be sneeky and steal.
It was all going so well until they where smuggling a criminal from one side of the galaxy to the other.
The job was risky and soon ended in disaster.
Their ship got raided by Bounty Hunters and in the mess her father was shot dead.
They then turned to the young teen and shot her twice by the very man her father had tired to smuggle to safety, leaving her to die beside her father.
But her wounds weren't fatal and by some miracle she survived.
It was when all 5 men had gone to the cockpit, Aurora had dragged herself to the engineers quarters at the back of the ship.
She was able to patch herself up save her own life.
That was when she knew what she had to do.
The man they were smuggling was with the Bounty Hunters and they where here to still her Fathers ship... The Firefly.
She knew what she had to do and she did it quickly.
She opened up one of the panel on the side of the wall that was hiding a kill switch.
She pressed it and the entire ship was filled with toxic gas apart from the engineers quarters.
She stayed by herself in that little room for 24 hours until the gas had done it's job and new fresh air had filled the ship again.

She limped out of the engineers quarters and past her father's body and into the cockpit to find only 4 bodies. The man that had killed her father and shot her, had gotten away.
She made an oath that day, to never stop looking for the Bounty Hunter that killed her father. If she ever saw him again. She would be the last thing he ever saw.

Abilities: She is a skilled pilot and isn't a bad shot with her ships fighter blasters. She can usually fix anything broken on her ship pretty good as well, but the patch up jobs never look the most prettiest.

Miscellaneous: Never says no to a good paying job or a cold drink.

Name
: Jain Beroya of Clan Beroya, House Vizsla
Age: 36
Race: Mandalorian

Physical Description: Jain is 5'8", massing about 154 lbs without armor. This Mandalorian is habitually clad in gleaming beskar armor inherited from her grand-aunt. She's commonly armed with a EE-3 carbine blaster rifle affixed to an armor mount on the back of her armor, and she wears a Westar-35 blaster pistol holstered at her side. In the unlikely event she ever removes her helmet or armor around others, witnesses would see a youthful blonde woman with the physique of someone who is obsessive about their exercise.

Profession: Chief Medical Officer and Exobiologist for the Lighthouse.

Personality: Remarkably pleasant, once a patient or a colleague gets past the helmet. Jain has a finely honed optimistic bedside manner, so deeply ingrained that even a helmet voice filter can't keep out her natural warmth. She never seems to be 'off-duty' though and she can be difficult to get to know. Partly due to Mandalorian reserve and partly due to her own guilt and regrets.

History: Jain was born into Clan Beroya, the second daughter of a remarkably successful Mandalorian warrior. She grew up in the shadow of a father she could never live up to. Initially following in his footsteps in her youth, Jain learned how to fight, how to hunt and how to cherish her heritage above all else. By the time she was old enough to inherit her grand-aunt's family armor, though, Jain knew her destiny lay elsewhere. She let her siblings follow her father's path of glory, choosing instead to learn the arts of medicine from her physician uncle, Orlan Beroya.

She was 22 years old and still an apprentice when the Mandalorian Civil War broke out in 116 BBY. And like most civil wars, the sides were drawn well in advance. Her Clan began the conflict staunchly on the side of the traditionalists, and once House Vizsla came over to side with the pacifist New Mandalorian movement, Clan Beroya broke with their House to side with the Old Mandalorian movement. For Jain, she supported her Clan when the Civil War went hot, treating the wounded on the battlefield under her uncle's oversight. Like many doctors, she ended up with patients from both sides under her care. The courage of the New Mandalorians impressed her enough to listen to them and, in the end, she couldn't deny their critique was true; the Way of the Mandalore might make the Mandalorian people great but following the Way had brought ruin to their world.

Then the Civil War was won, not through decisive victory but by the majority of Mandalorians deciding they'd had enough. With the New Mandalorian movement given firm support, the Old Mandalorian movement chose to abandon their homeworld...and Jain and her uncle didn't. Clan Beroya departed for Vlemoth Port including her husband, her son and her daughter. But for Jain, the Way of the Mandalore was for Mandalorians. Her people remained on Mandalore, their home.

Jain finished her medical studies by the time the New Mandalorian government consolidated power and sent diplomats to the Galactic Republic. The remnants of Clan Beroya were viewed with suspicion by the pacifist majority, leading Jain to take advantage of an offer to study medicine in the Republic as part of a cultural exchange program. At the age of 30, Jain became an accredited trauma surgeon graduate of the First Republic Medical Academy of Coruscant. She remained on planet a further four years, transferring to the Academy's parent organization, the University of Coruscant to gain accreditation in Exobiology with an emphasis in cross-species genetics and exozoology. When the Separatist Rebellion began, she supported certain classified research during her studies but resigned from the effort once her accreditation was complete, citing patriotic loyalty to the principles of the New Mandalorian government.

pcUySyc.jpg
Her cheerful temperament and keen mind impressed one of her professors enough that he recommended her for a fellowship with the Intergalactic Zoological Society. There, Jain served for a year as a scientific consultant on a joint mission with the Republic Survey Corps to study newly chartered worlds for possible colonization efforts...and potentially backup sites for the Republic to fall back to if the Separatist Rebellion went badly.

Then the Galactic Republic won its conflict. Jain was recalled to Mandalore to brief the New Mandalorian government on her experiences over the last decade. By the time the Ruling Council opted to begin formal relations for a closer relationship with the Republic, Jain had spent enough time home to realize her people had already largely abandoned the Way, leaving her ever more the stranger among them. She explored the prospect of reuniting with her husband and children but discovered Clan Beroya had become insular mercenaries...and her time in the Republic had left her with a taste for purpose beyond conflict for coin.

Then she caught wind of a special Rescue & Exploration team being put together to continue the recovery work from the Great Disaster. Jain couldn't rejoin Clan Beroya, found Mandalore uncomfortable to remain on and had nowhere to go in the Republic. A few months or years spent in the remote reaches of space sounds perfect.

Abilities:
Physician: Jain studied battlefield medicine, field surgery and triage under the excellent Mandalorian healer Orlan Beroya. She is also a credentialed trauma surgeon on Coruscant.
Scientist: She's spent all of her 30s studying and conducting research in exobiology, Jain is broadly familiar with the medical history and genetics of many major species in the galaxy. She's particularly good at finding common genetic markers and traits in newly discovered species according to her CV. Jain's experience at cross-species bioweaponry isn't documented in her CV at all.
Mandalorian Warrior: Like all of the Old Mandalorians, Jain has been exposed to conflict from infancy. She's a good shot with the rifle or pistol, experienced at hitting moving targets under battlefield conditions. While not a tactician, she's experienced a lot of fighting and is good at following or even intuiting orders. She posseses solid hand to hand fighting skills including knives and swords, mostly in the context of personal duels.

Miscellaneous: Jain is extraordinarily fond of tea cups. She has a personal collection of several hundred left in her apartment back on Coruscant but brought a holoprojector to display it, along with two dozen 'extra' teacups she keeps on a shelf in her quarters. If there's any chance at contact with a sentient alien species, Jain's been known to pack along a holoimager to capture a visual record if she happens across any exotic teacups.

Second Lieutenant Neala Valyn
Your Mission Begins.jpg
Age: 30

Race: Twi'lek

Physical Description: Neala stands at 5'9" and packs a fair amount of muscle from years of hauling heavy equipment and working as a mechanic. Her skin is pale yellow with stripes tattooed on her head, shoulders and lekku, and her eyes are light brown. Despite the stereotypes of her species, her face is rather plain and not conventionally attractive. Not that she cares. When not in her plainclothes, she wears the typical Republic soldier gear with modifications to accommodate her extra equipment. She wears goggles so often that when she's not wearing them ring-shaped marks are visible around her eyes.

Profession: Republic Soldier/ Tech Specialist

Personality: Sociable, witty, sometimes crude, and always up for a friendly debate, Neala can often be found knocking back a few drinks in the local bar or cantina with friends or strangers on her off days. Because of her humble roots she's surprisingly down to earth for someone of her educational background, though if you let her she may talk your ear off about improvements she'd like to make to standard military tech, or why she hates the latest series of astromechs. She'll crack a joke whenever one comes to mind- whether it's prudent or not- and enjoys teasing her colleagues as often as she can get away with it.

History: Neala was born the middle child of a boisterous working class family on Coruscant and grew up alongside four brothers. Her mother was a part-time waitress, and her father owned a vehicle repair shop. From a young age, Neala demonstrated a hearty thirst for knowledge and loved to watch her father at work, pestering him with questions and learning the inner workings of various engines and motors. Though she was a bit of a troublemaker in school, she was very dedicated to the subjects that interested her, namely anything to do with science or computers. At age twelve, she built a small droid from spare parts. Because she had such a knack for repair work, her father took her on as a wage-earning employee in her early teens, allowing her to save up for higher education (and keeping her out of trouble... mostly). In high school a friend told about a Republic Military program that would pay for her education in exchange for her service. Until then she hadn't considered joining the military, but when she realized it would allow her to travel to distant worlds, perhaps even undiscovered ones, the question was decided. It was hard going, and the structure and discipline took some getting used to, but overall she'd say it changed her life for the better. Getting assigned to Operation: Life Raft was a dream come true...

Abilities/Strengths:

Technical Expertise: She is a licensed mechanic and droid repair technician and has a degree in computer science from a moderately prestigious university. As a result she is capable of performing most necessary repairs on ships, speeders, and utility vehicles, but she is more experienced with smaller classes of ships. She is also skilled in the use of computers and is capable of hacking.

Combat Training: Like every military recruit, she is trained in hand-to-hand combat and the use of blasters.

Creative Thinker: Her penchant for lateral thinking makes her a great problem solver, and thanks to her curiosity, she's amassed a broad, if shallow, knowledge of various fields, allowing for unique solutions.

Physical Abilities: Years of working with heavy equipment have forced Neala to develop a respectable level of strength and stamina.

Weaknesses:

Distractible: Neala is excellent at starting projects, but not so much at finishing them- at any given time her quarters are littered with objects in various states of assembly, which she promises to get around to "eventually". She can also be forgetful of details or slip into daydreaming at inopportune times.

Hand-to-Hand Combat: Because of her exclusive focus on weapons and gadgets, Neala is somewhat out of her element when it comes to fighting with just her bare hands.

Jack-of-All-Trades: There are so many fascinating avenues of study available that Neala has always found it hard to narrow her focus to just one. On the one hand, she has knowledge of many different fields, but on the other, she isn't the highest level expert in any of them, and may need assistance with more specialized or advanced repairs.

Lazy: When she feels passionate about something, Neala is highly motivated, but struggles when it comes to anything she doesn't want to do. She also tends to procrastinate.
