Chapter 1 - Breathe.

"Breathe, I need to run. To evade her attacks, she's hunting me down. The Sith Assassin, I feel my legs ache and burn with each stride, my lungs burn with every movement I make. I'm afraid. I'm lost and alone. She's going to kill me. I can't keep doing this.. But I need to breathe. Sweat clings to my robes and I'm exhausted, but I need to keep going. I'm losing balance, and I've begun to slow down. She can sense me, feel my fear.. But I need to breathe."
Torren is stranded on the planet of Kashyyyk. Unable to acquire the help of the natives of the world, he is truly alone in his attempt to run from the Sith Assassin that slaughtered his Master. Now chasing him to finish what was started. He aches all over but he continues to push on. It is night-time, and the forest floor of Kashyyyk is hard to traverse, his ship was docked a few miles out, whereupon lies his ticket off the planet. Torren hears the screech, that ear-peircing, metallic screech of the Sith Assassin. Her helmet hid her face behind a mask that shook Torren to his core, and he dared not to look behind him lest he see that helmet in the darkness of the forest.

The only thing Torren heard other than his hefty panting, was the "whirr" of a lightsaber being thrown at him, he yelped and ducked. A double-bladed lightsaber cracked into a tree nearby, and the Sith Assassin had finally caught up to him. Sending out a storm of Force Lightning at Torren he rolled, igniting his lightsaber and blocked the Force Lightning. The immense pressure of that power pressed him up against a few boulders, yelling out as he tried pushing the arcs of lightning back at his pursuer. She would get closer, and closer until she pulled her lightsaber out of the tree.
The arcs of lightning dispersed, but what met the tired Jedi outcast was now a bolt of red light, whizzing into his face he parried, thrusting the lightsaber away from him as he backflipped away from the Assassin. Her metallic screech yet again ringing in his ears, this one a battle cry as she continued to clash with his lightsaber again and again in a flurry of combos. Torren could only settle for being on the defensive, parrying and blocking the blows as best he could in the cramped forest area they were fighting in. She caught an opening, slicing at his thigh with the other side of her lightsaber, which forced Torren to bend his knee down in pain, here and now she rushed her lightsaber towards his face to cut his head off, but Torren turned to the offensive now. Thrusting his left hand out towards her stomach, Torren shot an immense pressured force blast into her and forcing the Assassin to slam straight into one of the trees, the amount of force from the push cracked the tree and fell down.

It was time to run once more for Torren, powering down his lightsaber he forced himself up and began to ran once again, huffing out each time he thrust his legs out to meet the multiple upturned roots that greeted him. Then he felt it, a force push in return that sent him diving to the floor, face first into the ground he then heard a leap from afar, she was intending to slam right down ontop of him and finish the job. He turned on his back and ignited his lightsaber to clash against her yet again. This time she was overpowering him, pressing down against him with all her might. Torren could feel the burn of her lightsaber come in contact with his arm, then he felt the sting and pain of the lightsaber pressing into his flesh.

"GAAAAHHHHH!!!!!" Torren yelled out, headbutting the Assassin's mask with enough force to crack the visor. A distraction that allowed Torren to kick her off him fully, he slid up from the ground and began to grab a multitude of items from all around with the force; trees, boulders, vines, and bushes to then throw them all at her with such ferocity. Entrapping her inside a cocoon of rubble. It would keep her down for now and gave Torren another chance to escape. While limping away from the battle, Torren slipped from a root on the ground and began to plummet down a hill, crashing against the ground every few seconds.

A hard slam knocked the wind out of Torren. Wheezing, he began to crawl away, to find a place to hide until he could recover from the damage he had already acquired.. A cave, a place to hide! A place to heal.. He crawled desperately inside the cave, hiding deep within it to ensure the Assassin would think twice before checking it out to see if he was inside. From there, Torren laid his head against the rocky insides of the cavern. It was time to breathe, to focus.

Mackenzie is sprinting towards his ships and doesn’t look back, he has no doubt they are running for him or at least one of them. His armor is more of a lighter build, that combined with his physique and ami’s light weight makes it easy for him to stay ahead. The young bounty hunter presses his wrist tablet a couple times with his free hand on his wrist holding ami, his ships big hatch opens up at a medium pace.

The bounty hunter is so glad he doesn’t smoke or drink while sprinting, if he did any of those he probably would get caught. Mackenzie passes a bunch of padawans who are confused looking amongst each other wondering what’s going on, they look to Sasha and ami then at the the master Jedi. They piece it together and force push Mackenzie against his ships side in a effort to stop him, he moves ami to his front side and takes the brunt of the blow. The padawans cringe a little as their plan could have hurt ami too, they sit aside not wanting to mess anything up and leave it to the Jedi.

He grunts then limps to the hatch of his ship and enters it, sets ami down then holds his side with one hand and with the other presses the wrist tablet to close the hatch. Before it closes all the way he looks at ami then lowers his head a little, he feels bad for betraying her trust. she and the Rell seemed like good Jedi, but so did the others before they betrayed him he will go through with the bounty. He looks at them and does the phone symbol with his hand not holding his side and turns inside his ship.

“that was close, in more ways than one. Seems like your lucky day ami i don’t like taking off my helmet but I just feel like doing it for some reason.”He says taking off his mask which is VERY rare for him to ever do around people, seems her luck is very good. He makes his way over to the control panel and typed in the route to the siths planet and his ships begins to lift and is ready to launch.

Jedi Post: Master Rell & Zet'oska

Master Rell fell for the bait, and grumbled when he realized he was duped. Moving quick, or at least as quick as a middle-aged man could he failed to make it before Mackenzie had ran into his ship. The ship was already ascending, making its way to leave this planet. Master Rell's best guess was to a Sith-controlled planet, a youngling was easy to manipulate..But he wouldn't give up without at least a fight of his own! Using the force, Master Rell grabbed onto the Ship with as much strength as he could, grimacing and even wincing at the amount of strain he was putting on his own body just to try and keep the ship from leaving. He watched as the ship buckled immensely under the weight of the force trying to pull it back down, some stray pieces of the ship began to dent as well because of the pulling. Ultimately though, Master Rell had to let go as a coughing fit had caught its way into Master Rell's control of the force. Letting the Ship fly away with a few dents and scratches, minor, albiet still worth repairing...
He turned to face Sasha now, breathing hard. "You must find that Youngling..Wherever he is taking her it is most like a job from a Sith contractor. Somebody wants that child, and my best guess would be someone trained in the Dark Side of the Force.. I need you to find the Jedi Corinnia Vitalium, she is a up and coming Jedi Knight who I believe is a good match for you in this search for Ami Atono.. I assume she will be in one of the Jedi Temples, I'll have a selection of soldiers posted under your command...Can you get that child back?" Master Rell would ask, his tone stern. As if he wanted a definite answer. One not clouded by indecisiveness.

-Meanwhile-

Master Zet'oska found his way down to the more jovial party-side of Coruscant. He needed to find someone he would think best for the task of proving Torren's innocence. Though initially, bartenders weren't very keen on giving Zet'oska information, considering they didn't want to be arressted under dealing with smugglers and illegal activity. Blind, Zet'oska was for not preparing for this beforehand. Sitting in a bar he sipped down a drink with desperation..He needed to find someone, needed to help Torren. He KNEW something was up....Nothing felt right, not the way the Order handled out this sentence, nor in the way that the evidence was distributed correctly. The Grand Master and Rell were the only ones who had seen it to the full extent, and Zet'oska only knew from images of the surveillance hologram that Torren cut down his master..But what if this was all set up? What if there was someone in the Jedi Order helping the Sith thin down their ranks?...No..That's enough speculation, nobody in the Jedi Order would do that...Would they? Zet'oska sighed, lightly thumping his forehead against the table he sat at..

-Korriban-
Sith Post: Darth Valis
Darth Valis was a busy man, and even more busy considering he wanted to take the place of 2nd Seat. But he had a mission to give for a certain Sith member he was interested in. He wanted eyes on his apprentice, didn't want the little fish getting too independent, lest Darth Valis feel he would try and overtake Darth Valis' place. He already showed signs of being smart, and because of that Darth Valis needed to make sure he snip the line of his foolishly confident apprentice before it was too late. Sending a message through a hologram to Haind, he began without much a care for the other's schedule.

"Hello there, Haind. I have a mission for you, and spare me details of your schedule. This is of the utmost importance, I could even gain you a seat on the Dark Council if you follow it well. My apprentice has become far too confident in himself these days, and I intend to cut that short. In his eagerness to strike me down, he will realize it is not so easy. But I want him to suffer that feeling, I want you track him down, follow him. Tortue him in any way you see fit. My apprentice may be strong in the Dark Side of the Force but I still feel a shred of weakness within him. Something that leaves conflict. I want it stamped out, and if he plans to face me so soon then he will surely fail...And perhaps I will discard him for that. Do I make myself clear?" Darth Valis sat back in his seat, eyes of glowing gold-red burning with anticipation and anger. To make his student suffer would help bring him closer to the dark side. The message ended...Darth Valis turned, looking out the window, watching Korriban.
"I despise weakness, and Lord Dreyk as of late has given me much of that feeling as of late. I've heard of his adventures tracking down information on how to beat me. That will only serve him on paper, but not on the battlefield." Darth Valis clenched his fist some.. "I will not be beaten by a simple-minded apprentice.."

"Maybe my entire plan was to make you feel guilty, thus making myself the victor of this battle due to your guilty. I can give you the puppy eyes too if need me." Caena offered a sly grin before chuckling at the Cathar, "Those are all too easy mock. Too surface level. Plus, we both know that those things won't get to you." She took a deep breath, "My mocking has to really get under your skin. Has to have as much impact as possible." A mischievous grin crept onto her face at the comment of her past, "Oh, trust me. I was hundred times more wild and troublesome than I am now. No one person was ever able to handle me when I was in my prime... Of course I was also extremely stupid and lacked common sense in those days too. I truly felt invincible during those days."

"Oh. What is the harm? If I remember, that joy ride got us out of a sticky bind with that Hutt leader. He was so impressed that the little droid managed to do everything that he did, that he let us off the hook and even gave the droid some free upgrades." Suds remarked with T7 beeping in agreement. Caena merely laughed at T7 who was continuing to beep at A'Therra as well as lightly ramming her legs in a show of defiance.

"Anyway, we should head to that cantina. At this rate the workers will be done before we even leave the ship." Caena said after she had recovered from her laughing fit at T7.

Haind had recieved a call on her holo, from someone she did not expect.. "Lord Valis?--" her curious demeanor was quickly cut off as she heard the details of his orders, his offer to put her on the council, and how she could be able to torture his own apprentice anyway she would see fit. A simple task to her ears as she began to grin wickedly under her respirator, her piercing yellow eyes gazing back at valis as she responded "Understood, lord valis.." before the call had ended.

Sasha skids to a stop as she watches the Trooper's ship take off. Master Rell's attempt to pin the ship down is admirable but it's beyond even him. For her part, there are any number of ways she might have brought that ship down. All of them dependent on tools and gear she normally carries but left in her quarters...because she's in a Jedi Temple!

The Chiss woman seeks the serenity of the Force, centers herself and turns to the fatigued Jedi beside her. "Of course, Master. Corinnia Vitalium? I'll find her and get to work. You may rely on me, Master, to find out who wants the child and get her back."

Bowing, Sasha turns away and returns promptly to her quarters. At which point she retrieves her utility belt and straps on her lightsaber. Her N-315 blaster pistol goes into a backpack for now; carrying a gun, even holstered, isn't something a Jedi does in a temple. Once properly outfitted for the journey in her usual street clothes, the Chiss Jedi searches in the Jedi Order's computer index for a listing on Corinnia Vitalium. Glancing over a scanty biography of the Jedi, Sasha nods approvingly, taps a location indicator and makes her way for the libraries.

Destiny_Dreamer Destiny_Dreamer
Stepping into the Jedi Archives, Sasha makes her way past tables and chairs, nodding politely when an interested Jedi or Padawan deep in study notices her. She allows the Force to guide her, knowing it's not foolproof precognition but a guide uniting her with the companion she'll need for the mission ahead. Trusting in the Force, Sasha's not at all surprised to turn a corner of a bookshelf and come across the woman she came looking for.

"Corinnia Vitalium?" she asks, in an entirely unnecessary fashion. "I'm Tlon'osash'iagors. Call me Sasha. Master Rell asked me to partner with you on a mission of some urgency. Walk with me so I can fill you in?"

Being both Chiss and in casual clothes, Sasha doesn't look remotely the part of a Jedi except for the lightsaber buckled on her waist and for the calm serenity in her crimson eyes.

Once they where on the ship Ami was put back down and was able to walk around while mackenzie ran off to start piloting. she was looking around the lounge of the small ship at all the random stuff it had when suddenly the ship grinded to a halt and she fell down face first, landing on a soft pillow that came sliding at the exact right moment for her head to land on it. she stood up and realized the jedi master must have been force pulling the ship. she tried her best to counteract his forcepull with her own force powers. she made audible grunts as she tried to use the force. after a few seconds of ship parts tearing and vary scary breaking sounds it stopped and the ship blasted forwards, causing Ami to fall again, this time towards the back wall, where the pillow from earlier was also tossed ahead of her to cushion the blow again. "I...I THINK I DID IT!" she yelled excitedly, believing it was her force powers that stopped the ship from being pulled by master rell. "YAY!"

A'Thella laughed heartily. "Wow, here I thought I was pushing buttons, yet here I am. A victim three man gang on. Thanks guys real pals you all are and here I was planning to by the first round for you all. StilI know when I am beaten. Well, than I admit defeat. " She gave an exegerated bow at the three pointing particularly at T3. "My apologies, oh great T3. Forgive my blindness to your greatness."

T3 gave out a few prideful beeps."Oh how magnanimous, T3." She replied to them and gave a mock shocked look at T3 further beeps. "An oil bath? Why you bucket of bolts, You got too greedy there, you got a bow and a apology that is all you are getting." He gave a few more beeps and she gave a thoughtful look. "Fine, you conman, I will see when we get back but you don't deserve it. I spoil you rotten you know. "

She turned to the others. "Yes let's go before this little sneak, worms something else from me." She said leading the pair to the cantina she mentioned.

Now on board the Imperator within one of the guest chambers

The assassin was brought in quickly and immediately escorted to one of the more secluded levels that held higher security and mainly included the personal chambers of higher ranking imperial navymen or other Sith under Darth Valis's branch of influence and obedience. The chamber itself large and lavish while demonstrating the subtlety but undeniability of Valis's power among this vessel alongside all of his other vassel's be it Sith or Machine. A beautiful and deadly lodging but all in all especially to this assassin it would be true to it's word as a commendating prison cell. Hours would pass without word until finally the doors would open and Lord Dreyk would stand in the opening. His attire and mask unchanged before he stepped inside with the doors shutting behind him.

"The Captain is dead." He said getting straight to the point. "And his information was inadequate from the damage both his body and brain endured. "You damaged my property and as I said before I only want the information he carried and you no doubt have extracted and you no doubt contain and then you may continue on your way." he said approaching her and only halting a suitable distance away. She would notice his sabers were gone from his belt at least for the moment. A sign of fear? Of trust? Of strength? Who could say. But now they stood on more equal footing as her own blades were kept from her as well as her being searched for any other means of communication or weapons.

"So. Tell me what you know. I want everything but more so I want the information held on both our masters....as well as Jedi Master Rell." he said as he got as much as the name from the dear Captain. "I know you hold your will and allegiance as do I to the sith and our masters. So let me ask you this if you don't wish to cooperate...just yet. Where does your ambitions lie. What do you seek to gain. Or does being the Dark council's dirty assassin the top of your career." he challenged letting that sink in. Dreyk's reputation and the data told to her about him would definitely not match his actions. Dreyk had ran into many other would be assassins or interlopers and he had dealt with them immediately and mercilessly. Striking down his foes with devastating sheer force of power. Yet here he was...speaking...bargaining?...plotting?

"I have looked into you as well...Lady Tsemolvi." he said in a two way prong. "It was very difficult actually accessing your records....but since you belong to my Master's rival and are a formal apprentice rather than just a hand of the Council. It was not impossible." he said reaching up to his face as his mask would slowly untether from his face before freeing entirely and now revealing his true features while he set his mask on the table between them. His voice now less effected from his helmets speaker but still recognizable. "I think the two of us could benefit if we chose to reject our master's little feud with one another. I would rather not have to make this encounter violent when we can both benefit from this." he said while holding a serious stoic expression. A plan clearly ready to unravel behind his eyes. "This is how the Sith operate after all. Our Emperor encourages it."

Mackenzie fiddles with his controls getting it ready to take off when all the sudden his ship ceases to move, he wonders why until he remembered Jedi control the force. He looks in his monitor to see through his rear camera feed and sees the master Jedi have a coughing fit, he feels bad for him but puts the ship in full gear and heads off out of the atmosphere.

Mackenzie puts the ship on auto pilot after 5 minutes have passed, he gets up and goes over to the young apprentice with his helmet still off. “Oi, thank you ami for all your hard work. You must have used ALOT of force to beat the master Jedi like that.” He says playfully while ruffling her hair a bit, he is nice to her because of her luck. She’s a VERY valuable bounty and he doesn’t want to screw it up at all. “What do you want to do? I got some candy, ice cream and some rare chocolate milk and hot chocolate also some games for us to play. What do you want to do?” He got it all beforehand for ami so she wouldn’t get bored when he got her. “Man I hope that girl calls me, Sasha yea that it Sasha I hope she gives me a hit up without trying to actually hit me.” He thinks to himself.

Onboard The Imperator - Current Location: Being Held in Quarters.

Zakaria within a matter of hours had been boarded onto the vessel belonging to Lord Dreyk himself. Her gaze moved around the space of the personal chambers as she studied every inch and every exit route she could pinpoint where she was being held.. To her, this held a natural pleasantness to it with a slight touch of suspicion to it to leave her weary enough to not become comfortable here. She wasn’t being treated as a guest aboard the ship and more so as that of a prisoner. Her look would narrow to meet the sight of the doors sliding open to reveal Lord Dreyk. Her hues would darken from under her cloak hood as it had remained fastened in place since the beginning of their meeting. She’d cast her look to the side as she listened to the sealing sound of the doors drawing closed as she stood infront of the large window that displayed the galaxy skyline before her. Her silence would remain intact as she made no notion to acknowledge his presence in the space of the room.

Her backline would reveal the small shrug of her shoulders in disregard to his spoken words.” And this comes to affect me how..?” She would ask knowing the answer already herself as she found herself scoff at his words.” I damaged your property? You seem to be mistaken in what you believe to be yours. If he rightfully belonged to anyone it is to that of the Dark Council and not some lowly Lord pressuming he has such ownership.” She stated clearly to him as she would turn on her foot as her fingers edged to her cloak hood to loose it. From there, her ash blonde locks spilled forth in frame around her face as she settled her golden silver hues to the man. Her studious expression lingered over him as she noted he came unarmed which left various thoughts to linger in her mind.” You may WANT the information I supposedly carry within the confines of my mind. But, who are you to command that I divulge such to you when it is my mission to deliver it elsewhere?” She asked of him as her brow arched in notable question to his current instructed wishes for her.

I don’t see why I should tell you or how it would benefit me to give such resources to you on my master or yours.. As for this Jedi Master Rell. What do you gain of learning about him?” She asked of him as she began to cross the floor as her heels would resound in soft clicks to the marbled floor. Zakaria let her steps slowly linger in a circle around him as he spoke to her and raised a question none in the past had dared to ask of her before. Their positions had all but become switched as she took to a light lean against the entry doorframe. The cold metal all but pressed to her spine as it sent a small rush upwards as she focused her gaze ahead upon him.” Are we not instilled with such training in our own schooling and constant training. Our Sith Master’s and councils are to be seen as are superiors in all things until deemed otherwise last I checked.” She said in a bored tone for her look to merely darken to his spoken words of her as her lips drew into a thin line.” What I seek to gain is not for you to know of as it is my personal business. You need but only know that I do wish to further myself in rank. I wish to regain what was once stolen from me and destroy those of whom stole it from me without a thought to the child I once was.” She said in a venomous anger to the memories that rushed forth in her mind as she blinked back the blaring pain they brought.” My current career choice within the Sith Ranks is but a mere stepping stone to my true intentions with them. Do not dare assume that you know of what I want..” Zakaria said firmly as her arms folded securely across her chest as her words all but pushed back against his challenge.

Her interest soon came to be gauged to his next words.” Oh? Did you discover anything to your liking within the files..? I trust you discovered how secured and well hidden my own intel on the basis of me is? I assumed it would not be impossible to unearth a mere portion if needed but then again. Such an unfair advantage for you to gain intel upon me and for myself to have not much on you.” She said in quick retort to him as she watched him untether the mask from its hold upon his face as she now came face to face with him in a truer sense. Yet, she found her interest truly sparked to his words as her features began to shift to expose a mild interest to his words. A single black nail came to tap to her lower lip thoughtfully as a small smirk stole to them in turn.” What you’re suggesting is the elimination of our main forces of anger and hatred in this rivalry held between two mere men. For it isn’t our own rivalry or hatred of another but their own and one to be easily used against both. Is that what you’re suggesting, Lord Dreyk?” She asked bluntly of him with a twinge of discoloration to her hues as she walked forward towards him. As she would begin to pass him, her words would fall forth.” If that is the case, I will hear what it is you have to say and we can go from there if I wish to divulge my information to you… Understood?” She asked as she’d meet his gaze from the corner of her eye as she laid forth her own offer in turn to him.

For as you said, Our Emperor does encourage such actions in our ranks..” She whispered as the tint of a smirk could be seen through the part of her ash locks.

Corinnia Vitalium - Location: Jedi Archives

Corinnia walked with ease through the aisles of shelves as her dark cloak moved behind her in small brushes. Her crimson tresses held tied back with ease from her face as she directed her look over the various shelves as her fingers brushed the ancient tomes. As she reached forth to remove a book, the soft grunts of a child could be heard from beside her as the small Twi'lek child bounced on her toes to reach a certain book. A small smile would come to hold against Cora's lips as her middle fingers pressed together as the book would loosen from its hold and lower in a small float before the child. Her orbs would widen in relief to the book being now before her as she turned a smiling gaze upon Cora as she would bow her little head quickly." Thank you, Master." She would squeak out in a soft tone as Cora merely winked as the child would gather the book in her arms and dash back off to her table. She would soon turn back to withdraw the book from the shelf as she heard her full name spoken as her brow would raise inquisitively." Just as I look to enjoy my time from returning from a mission, I'm sought out once more.. Just a small breather would be nice." She breathed out as she pinched the bridge of her nose to tilt her head back on her shoulders to the abrupt introduction being given." Aren't you just quick to the point.. Please don't forget to breathe if you are to continue." She teased slight with a glisten in her sapphire hues as she would straighten and turn to meet the woman's look.

A curious nature would come to hold against her hues as she listened to the mouthful of a name be spoken. Her finger would raise as if to question only to breathe out a sigh of relief to a less.. Mouthful of a name as she simply smiled quick." I'm grateful to know you chose a simplified version of your name.. Or we'd merely be here all day teaching me of how to pronounce it." She spoke plainly in a mere jest as she push the tome lightly back into its slot once again as Cora would begin to walk ahead of the girl." Master Rell sent you to be my partner in a mission of great urgency? Than I do hope you're as capable as you look and that this time he won't be sending me into the caves of Hoth to deal with Wompa's and foolish Sith who use them as shields. Such aggressive fur bound creatures.." She muttered out as she began to fall into step at Sasha's side." So do tell me of what I am to know on this mission and where are we to be sent?" Cora asked as her orbs calmed and she bowed her head in passing to the Master's exiting from a meeting space as her look passed back to Sasha in await.

Captain Caena Tirva and Sudunt "Suds" Cumberland.
Location: Cantina.

As soon as the door to the cantina opened you could smell a mixture of alcohol, spice, and sweat. Tons of drunk and high bodies crammed into an overly small area tended to breed that sort of smell. Of course, Caena being who she was opened the doors in an overly extravagant way and everyone in the cantina immediately looked at her and the two who were following her. For that brief moment in time everything stopped and the cantina was completely silent. Even the band had momentarily stopped playing whatever song that they were in the middle of.

"Don't mind us, boys. Go on back to your drinking and conversing." Caena announced and gave them all a wave as she walked past a few of the patrons towards a booth in the dimly lit corner of the room. Upon sitting down she kicked up her feet and rested them on the table, "Three of your best drinks!" She yelled at the barkeep.

"This place never fails to lose it's charm." Suds said with a fake smile plastered on his face, his gaze slightly averting over to a table with the Jedi Master banging his head against the table. Suds didn't need too look at him a second time to tell he was a Jedi, and Suds had some inkling that the man would approach them sooner or later.

A'Therra normally enjoyed making an entrance with Caena, joining in with a tough sexy pose and to strut stuff as they walked to the bar counter. Be the elegance to Caena's extravagance. Now she felt like she didnt want to be noticed, even here where it was unlikely she would find a jedi here it was still Coruscant and anything could happen. Still she tried to give at least a confident walk but it was half hearted.

"Yes, take it all in Suds. This is because it's the truly honest thing in this planet. No gilts and glamour masking the sleazy like the upper levels, it is all what you see. To go from one state to another is always hard to miss and easy to appreciate." She said trying to bury her worry and enjoy the moment.

It didnt last, barely a few seconds of leaning back against the bar counter and began scanning the room when he noticed the old jedi. She cursed and turned around hiding her face. She didnt recognise the jedi but she could not risk him recognising her. She may be able to just barely mask her force sensitivity but her appearance was something else.

Sasha offers a slight smile at Corinnia's exasperated plea for a breather. It's a feeling she relates to only too well. The work of the Jedi can be exhausting, particularly when undercover work is called for, and she's barely had any time to recenter herself here at the temple before being sent back out into the wilds once more. "I can walk and talk at the same time, never fear," she added, her smile growing at the other Jedi's quip about how fast she talked. "And the nickname's necessary, if I want any chance of someone addressing me quickly in time sensitive situations. I've come to like Sasha, though. Do you have a nickname?"

As the two Jedi began to walk, the Chiss woman nodded once at Corinnia's remarks. "I'm afraid a Youngling has been kidnapped. Likely by a bounty hunter, likely on behalf of the Sith. I'm given to understand she's quite young but exceptionally promising in the ways of the living Force. Hopefully where we pursue them will be nowhere near Wompas or Hoth, though I'm afraid foolish Sith may very well be on the menu."

Sasha gestured on towards the hallway leading to the shipyard while they walked. "I don't know where this mission will lead us. After the bounty hunter. Hopefully we can catch him before he makes planetfall. In the meantime, we'll have a contingent of soldiers in case negotiations prove short. Is there anything you need to fetch before we board my interceptor and we give chase?"

"That is where you are wrong. That is where even the Council would disagree. Power dictates what belongs to whom and here you both stand in my ship. Do not forget....I held your life in my palm and still do." he said with his rage slightly seeping out and matching the description naturally held about Lord Dreyk among the empire. But regardless he reeled back. His eyes having shifted that deadly tainted gold behind his mask.

"But....I am not here to threaten your life. That should be clear with the fact you stand on this ship in the first place. Unlike most Lords I can recognize the power of words and negotiation alongside sheer force." he said as his power and the very sense of his presence calmed ever slightly. "Master Rell... as of now my understanding is he is simply a powerful Jedi Master. But the fact the Captain had brought up his name." he said with his now clear gaze bared upon her. "Leaves me to understand there is more about him. You cannot convince me otherwise. If it will ease you into this exchange however...I will not push the issue with Master Rell. The main focus relies on those within the Council. My master and yours." he said without any given emotion outside pure calculation.

Dreyk's own past had been very well covered. His master had made sure of that. To the general knowledge Dreyk was found later in his age and found unnaturally talented for his age especially given the fact he did not pass through the Sith Academy. But his growth and actions in turn for the growing conflicts had proven to his rivals that while some will still doubt his reach, there is little to doubt about his potency as a threat.

Not looking to her as she paced past and behind him. Another statement if anything to willingly hold his back to the assassin. "It is our purpose....to overcome them. To consistently improve the Sith and the Dark Council by allowing the strong to prevail. Prove your strength above their own and their seat is forfeit. Any sense of neglecting that is nothing more than selfish cowering fools trying to hold onto the little they possess." he said before turning to face her once more. Briefly he would feel a heat of emotion crossing her mind but be unable to tap into it, regardless he had noticed and even so he held his own painful memories back.

"I believe we are similar. But I also believe you are misguided in your aims. Do you not feel your master has little to nothing left to teach you? Do you sense your master just might be leading you on or holding back the knowledge that you free you from him." he said once again forcing her to bluntly accept a fact she may otherwise not wish to face. But as she spoke, a small smile would come to his lips. Perhaps..just maybe...she was easing more into this and his reasoning.

"Turn their rivalry into a unseen blade. Let us join forces. My ends only require I take a seat on the Council. Not specifically Darth Valis's but I know the time is not far before I can learn nothing more from him and he will eventually prove to be yet another obstacle. But for you....your master would never suspect your allegiance with me. When the moment comes...I can help you reach your moment of victory. While I know your cleverness might simply see a opportunity to end my life in moment to appease him I believe you will find the value of what I offer in time if not now." he said bluntly.

Extending his hand to her now. "This room is entirely secure. No recorders exist or are active as I am sure you checked for. What you tell me will not be discovered by anyone outside of this room. You stand purely to gain. Give me the intel I seek....and I will give you what you need to call upon me after you plan on how we will deal with your master. In turn.... I will be closer to my own goals and when I ascend you will hold a powerful ally on the council. From there....you will only be closer to your revenge. So what will it be....I would hate to see such power and potential squandered if you prove to be nothing more than a Sith's Dog."

Master Zet'oska

Inside the cantina, Zet'oska toiled away at figuring out a way to commission someone's help for Torren. He knew not where he was, but hopefully someone would be kind enough, or willing enough to help him right? Maybe..? No..Such thoughts weren't what he should expect here. Heaving a large sigh, Zet'oska raised his head one more time to finish off his already bruised forehead. One more smack on the table aught to do it. It was destiny for Zet'oska to make a fool out of himself. Though right before he smacked right back down to the table's bare, cold, and ruthless surface he spotted a man wearing robes from the corner of his eye. Odd...Though that this man seemed to wear official Jedi clothing, but it seemed so outdated that he'd have to look it up in the Jedi Archives to be sure he was correct.
Zet'oska had never met someone close to the Grand Master's age, and Suds looked the part. The time to take a chance was now, and damn it if Zet'oska didn't know this man then he sure enough felt that he would be a better choice than most Jedi of the Republic now. He stood up and observed Suds' company, it seemed like he was with two others.. Looked like a shady bunch but it would do. Zet had already conversed and was denied by other shady individuals of the Cantina already. Scooping himself up and wiping his brow. He made his way towards the party of 3.

"Sir, if you'll excuse me...But are you or perhaps, were you a Jedi once? Your outfit seems to look the part of an older generation.. If you and your friends would have me, I beg of your help. I've already asked many of the people here and with my theory proven correct, none accepted me." Zet remained standing, his hands hidden pleasantly in his robes. "I know this is rather sudden but if I let what may come to pass happen, a man I deem innocent could very well be killed.."
Zet's hopes were now laid out among the trio to take in. His only hope for the salvation of an Outcast.

Sudunt "Suds" Cumberland and Captain Caena Tirva
Location: Cantina

"I remember when this place first opened for business. Smelled exactly the same as it does when it had its grand opening." Suds sighed as he reminisced about the past before continuing, "The sleaze here isn't nearly as bad as it is on the upper levels, especially around the Senate Building. I'd need a mask due to all the filth up there."

"Too true, Suds. I hate taking jobs from the Senators or anyone of status on this planet. They always request some of the weirdest things. One offered to pay to become his mistress..." Caena shivered as she remembered one of her encounters on the planet, "Still, most of the bigwigs here pay well enough. Plus, gives me some blackmail on them if I ever need it." She looked at the droid who had brought their drinks over, a wide smile formed on her face.

Suds meanwhile was looking at A'Therra whose demeanor clearly had changed. Now she was trying her best to hide her face and stay out of sight from someone. Suds observed the room in an attempt to find who was disturbing the young Cathar before finding who it was. It was the Jedi Master who had finally stopped banging his head into the table and was now observing himself and the two people with him. Suds stroked his beard before looking back at A'Therra. He had a pretty good idea as to why she was attempting to hide from the Jedi. Sadly, the Jedi would approach the group with an interesting plea.

"Hmm? Me?" Suds asked the man, wiping away some of his drink that was left on his lips, "God that is some awful booze. This is the best thing they have to offer?" He directed his rhetorical question towards Caena before looking back at the man, "Yes, I was once in the Jedi Order, but that was nearly three decades ago. I doubt I can offer much assistance, and I know the Council does not want to interact with me. We aren't exactly on good terms, ya know. So, either you don't know who I am or you're extremely desperate." Suds stopped to examine the man before smiling, "Ah... Clearly the answer is both." His smile remained on his face as he traced his finger around the rim of his glass, "Very well, I'll hear you out, just know I cannot assure you that I will help."

"Of course if you offer us enough money, we will be able to help ya out with anything." Caena interjected, her face extremely red due to the single drink she had downed. She rubbed her fingers together with a wide grin plastered onto her face.

A'Therra felt Suds eyes on her and than to Jedi master, making her feel even more uncomfortable. She was about to comment on him leering at her but the old Jedi approched them making her curse under her breath. She didn't look at the old man as he spoke to Suds, sipping her drink as if she was not connected to suds or Caenna. She took no chances, filling her mind strong emotions, lust mainly, to block any force probing.

While she kept her mind blocked she listened as best as could at what was said. She was surprised to hear Suds was a former Jedi and wondered how she had noticed. She had a feeling something was off about him that made her feel uncomfortable but he hadn't figured it was that she was sensing. She was not sure how to react to this news, should she be suspicious? If so than what, she could hardly have him kicked out just because of having a bad feeling and not without spilling the beans on herself. She could confide him and seek advice of someone who is similar to him. However could she trust him?

"Sound too funny to me." She finally spoke up casually not looking up from her drink. "He speaks as if he taking about in the future and premonition. Stinks of the force mambo jambo which in my experience is rarely straightforward or what it's seems."

Amis face lit up "ooo, what is chocolate milk?" she says "sounds exotic." she walked over to the center of the room and sat down, she placed her palm on the ground and then lifted herself up, balancing on her one hand. "I will practice meditating a little while you get me chocolate milk, that sounds good." she says as she closes her eyes to focus.

Master Zet'oska
Zet listened intently, he did not indeed know this Jedi-like character. His band of friends were as he assumed though, good at their job so long as they got paid..But one of them seemed to deny it, almost outright try and shield themselves from being in on the job. He didn't know why specifically, but he could deduce that maybe they've run into problems with Jedi before... So he did something no Jedi would ever have done in their lives, something almost unheard of to prove he was serious, that he NEEDED their help.

Clinking his lightsaber onto the table in front of them, he slid it across to meet Caena's hands. "I will give you my lightsaber, and you may do whatever you please with it if you help me. I have no proof he is innocent..But I know that he would never kill his own master, he was close enough with him that you'd think they were father and son."

"You might have had problems with the Republic, and by extension the Jedi before. But I promise you I do not come as an envoy for them, I cannot seek their help for this. I don't know why, but I remember that there was no meeting to conduct a trial for the Jedi Knight in question, nothing. A little odd don't you think?"

He sighed, running his hand through his hair. "If the lightsaber isn't enough then I will pay you with all I have. All I know is I can't trust the Jedi Order right now.."

Mackenzie chuckles as she acts so child like. “... you don’t know what chocolate milk is? Oh your going to have your mind blown lil lady~.” He says playfully, he tilts his head a bit as she meditates but walks off to get her a original earth cow chocolate milk. he pours it in a purple glass, he thinks she would probably have to hold with two hands if she didn’t use the force but it’s about a good size for the young Jedi. He walks out and quietly walks over to her and sets it in front of her, then sits next to her and does her stance but his arm shakes as he’s in this position. He’s not used to using his muscles in such a awkward fashion. “Oi deliciousness in cup is served, and am I doing it right? Think I’ll be a Jedi some day.” He says playfully.
