Alderaan

Tyria walked down the streets of Alderaan as it was her job right now to patrol this place as a result of her disobeying the rules of the jedi once again. It was not like she did it purposely, it just went like that without her actually thinking about her actions. She was not much like a strategist and probably never will be. The people that she needed to work with were getting along with her except when it came on situations where she never listened to the other people. She let out a sigh as she tapped her fingers against her hips while walking through. Nodding to the people that she would pass by and just being silent along the way. Her eyes were almost in a daze as there was nothing interesting to do. And there probably would not even be anything in the near future in this place.

@Sovereign

The planet of Alderaan rested on the cusp of contested space --held by the Republic but vied for by the Sith Empire. Fools, the both of them. They continued to pour troops into the meat grinder while the Force moved in mysterious circles behind it all. Unlike many modern Sith, Kosus did not hail from the Imperials. His had been a master outside the great Emperor's legions, a Dark Jedi born in the Republic and corrupted by the visions of old Sith masters on Korriban. Rather than flee to a more enlightened place int he galaxy, he remained in the Republic with the woman he'd come to love. Through happenstance and fate, Kosus came into the man's tutelage and learned the was of the Dark Side. But unlike most Sith, his curiosity outweighed his desire for power. To him, understanding trumped power as one could not be strong on raw capacity alone. This led him to studying the ways of the Jedi. Of course, he came to one logical conclusion --both sides were overzealous.

The arguments with his master grew more and more heated. A prized, gifted pupil who continued to question his methods? Insolent! At least in his opinion. When finally their confrontation came to a head, the two fought and Kosus struck him down with impressive might. Rather than being elated over his victory, Kosus mourned the father figure he'd lost and abandoned the teachings. Instead he chose to hide his gift, taking up the mantle of Bounty Hunter. His skill and fortune hunting led him inevitably to the war, hired by the Republic to bolster the waning defenses of Alderaan.

So like many others, the warrior wandered the streets of Alderaan. All seemed to be going well until the Force rippled, all at once he could feel the workings of the universe set in motion: a Jedi was near --a powerful Jedi. Why here? Many Jedi had moved to the more active warfronts. All at once he was nervous. Gray as he might have been int he eyes of the force, a Jedi --given enough time and insight-- might be able to glean a flitter of the truth.

A Sith was among them.

Tyria would let her saber hang into her belt loosely, if one would touch it, it would probably fall to the ground. The one she had was rather shabby and did not feel like changing it for a better one which was offered by one of her seniors. The one she had, she had shared many memories with. Memories which she did not want to loose and actually preferred to have them close with her, both the bad and the good ones. She whistled a little as she started to try something out to relieve her from her bored state as if it was slowly pulling her into a mischievous mind-set which consisted of the civilians not being happy at the end of it.

Yet just as she was about to play a prank on them, she felt something out of place. Something that should not have been here at all. Her eyes narrowed themselves and she came to a halt as she let her eyes scan over the people who could be the possible source from it. Her finger touching her lightsaber tapping it lightly with her middle finger as she searched. That was until she spotted someone who did not really seem like a civilian. Her feet started moving into his direction and her smile started to disappear a little, only to be replaced with a more intimidating smirk. Despite her rebellious stand, she still holds the titel of one of the stronger Jedi in the Republic. It was not because of a lazy attitude that she received that acknowledgement.

"Hey, you." She said to the male with the short blonde hair. Her hand gesturing towards him so he could not pretend like she was talking to someone else as many had tried to avoid her before like that.

The bounty hunter turned his eyes toward the female who addressed him --and she did so rather boisterously. The lightsaber adorning her hip denoted a Jedi as did her robes. But since when did Jedi look so smug? Or act so... dramatically? He cocked a befuddled eyebrow before actually offering her any sort of response.

"Yes, Master Jedi? What can I do for you?" he asked, adjusting the strap on which his blaster hung on his shoulder. His armor and weapon insinuated a soldier of some sort, but it was not Republic military issue, and it certainly wasn't Mandalorian. Anyone's best guess should have been bounty hunter or mercenary. But what really separated the two? Not much really, save for bounty hunters were in it for the individual glory, mercenaries usually came in groups. This man bore no insignia, no uniform, no special colors. What else could he be except a bounty hunter?

Still, the Force seemed strong with him. Perhaps he was Force sensitive? Surely he was not a Jedi --he carried no lightsaber and the order abhorred using blasters and heavy armor.

Being called as Master Jedi made the chills run down her whole body. Despite liking the acknowledgement of being strong, being called like that was still to get the shivers from. It sounded like she was some old fart who did not really have so long to live anymore, but she did not say anything as she did not want to get into an arguement with the other on her first day of patrolling. Forgetting the fact that she was about to play out a prank on the civilians.

It was strange though that this guy did not look like a sith but actually felt like one. The Force from this man was not something to be neglected just like that and just get on with patrolling the neighbourhood. She tilted her head as she crossed her arms, her eyes keeping focused on him as she let her braiin cells start working. There could be multiple explanations, but she could never know for sure if she did not do anything about it. Letting out a sigh as she could not really think of anything after all so she just started improvising like always. "I haven't seen you in this district before? Are you a traveller? Or did you came for work?" She asked him out of curiousity.

Her clothes would sway once the wind appeared again, making her get the chills as she did not like it when it was too cold nor too hot. Yeah, she was a difficult person, but that was just how she was.

Kosus regarded her suspiciously, it felt an awful lot like an interrogation. Jedi didn't just suddenly take interest in people unless they had a reason to do so --Force sensitivity, person of interest, target... so which one did he register as to her? Unfortunately he had no real way of knowing, at least not until she revealed it to him. Initially he might have brushed such a possibility off, but with how brash she appeared, he might actually get her to spill her thoughts without revealing too many of his own.

"I'm a bounty hunter, master Jedi," he said, bowing his head humbly. "I've been contracted as a soldier for the Republic here on Alderaan. Bodies are becoming more and more difficult to find, so they have been hiring out a lot to fill the gaps." Nothing he said was a lie, but it didn't exactly tell the whole truth of what he was either. That would be a long story and likely end in a fight with this Jedi. A normal Jedi might be hesitant to cross sabers with a Sith who abandoned his way, but this one felt far too... visceral to chance that on. Besides, Kosus felt the Jedi to be fools as much as he felt the Sith to be fools.

"And what brings you to Alderaan, master Jedi?" he asked. "I would have assumed a Jedi to be on a more important battlefield than Alderaan. Nothing here but a stalemate."

Tyria listened to what he had to say and nodded her head slowly. Feeling that there was something else, but did not want to pry too much into his business. After all, she was only there to patrol and not to stalk people around with the hundreds of questions that she needs to ask from the jedi. What could they do more to punish her? Put her in a dungeon or something? That would actually not be a bad idea, though she would not go there without an arguement either and her temper would only become worse by the time. Not something what a jedi would do as they were more... balanced.

Yet there was still the ominous presence of the Force with this person that she could not just neglect either. After all, the people who live here could be in danger due to her not paying enough attention to the surrounding. She huffed as she thought about it and the higher ups would not be pleased if that news were to spread around. Her eyes went back to the male standing in front of her, having caught that he was a bounty hunter. They did not really pose a thread as they were more like the lone rangers but they could still not be underestimated like some would do.

"Business. Nothing that I'm obliged to tell you about." She said and shrugged lightly as she did not want to reveal that she was here because of punishment. That would be really embarrassing for her.

Kosus arched an eyebrow at her, incredulous. Were Jedi allowed to be this hostile? Weren't Jedi supposed to be balanced and abstinent and wise? Hell, he'd almost consider branding her bitter at this point. Still, she was a Jedi and the Jedi Order practically ran things around here --talking back would do him no good. Maybe if he were an actual soldier of the Republic he could say something, but as a mere bounty hunter all he could do was sit and take it.

"I see. Well, if that is all, I will be moving on now," he said easily, bowing politely to the Jedi before going to walk by her. Kosus had other things to do than stand around and be interrogated by some half-baked Jedi with anger issues. A dark thought crossed his mind: how easily a Sith Lord could make her fall if he wanted to. The proposition turned his stomach contents like a washing machine. Should she ever be captured by the Empire, or encounter a charismatic Sith, he worried about what enticements the Dark Side held for her.

Hogwash. Kosus shook his head clear. Why did he care about the fate of some lone Jedi? A woman who clearly believed her station to be superior to his own. He was happy, happy to be free of the endless toil between two equally off-the-mark sides. Yes, Kosus was just a bounty hunter. Nothing more, nothing less.

As there was no reason for her to actually follow him around, she let him pass until she found something that could explain why the Force resided in him like that. Maybe, even if it was only the slightest chance, he could be trained by a sith or jedi. Would that not be dangerous to have a bounty hunter like him than? She paused once again in her tracks and glanced behind her to look at the male again.

She let out a sigh and shook her head, she did not want to get in more trouble than she already was in so accusing someone without actual proof would make things even worse than they already were. Yet she moved on again as she had to check other things and make sure that nobody was in trouble or needed help. It was only normal to help out the civilians from here as it was both her job and the right thing to do in her opinion as they had done nothing wrong that could actually be seen as a crime. Neither did she want to see the families suffer while there was war between the Republic and the Empire.

When she spotted a group of children trying to climb a tree but failed to do so, she noticed a ball being stuck between the branches. So she lifted her hand and made the ball move towards them. Smiling at them once they spotted her in the act but did not say anything else before moving forward.
