  Personality:
  Meliora is an affable young woman. She is friendly, and always tries to make people at ease in her presence. She is a people person, and very talkative. She can keep a conversation going for hours. She also has can speak about a wide range of subjects, from things to frocks to politics. No matter what sort of situation she is in, she always likes to talk to people who seem to be the most uncomfortable, and try to make them feel at ease. She has a genuinely good-natured soul. She does have a tendency to talk too much. however, and talk a little too much. She tends not to have a filter. She doesn't say things that are inappropriate for ladies to say, but she can share a little more information than is necessary.
  
  As much as she tries to put people at ease, she does have a tendency to be a little too blunt and she can speak a little too plainly at times when it is inappropriate. She has a mouth that works faster than her mind. She does, however, realize when she does this, and she tries to recover as quickly and as gracefully as possible. She has the sort of mouth that could get her into trouble if she is not careful. In the sort of live she has lived, one of shelter and privilege, she has never really had to think of consequences to the things that she has said.
  
  She is a genuinely compassionate person and despite her sheltered upbringing, Meliora does truly care for those who are less fortunate and those who have not had it as easy as she has had in her life. She often feels like she has more money than she knows what to do with. She does give to charities, and has compassion for those who are down on their luck, even if society has little regard for them. She cares deeply about unwed mothers, children who were born out of wedlock, and prostitutes, as well as people who are kept as slaves, something which she wholly disagrees with.
  
  She is certainly confident person, and she always walks with certainty. She walks with poise and grace, and can tend to come off as a little haughty. She always tries to seem so self-assured, and she has mastered the art of showing no doubt, no matter how much she actually feels. While she rarely, doubts herself, she does have her moments when her confidence falters, though no one could ever guess unless they have a good eye. She has mastered being a poised and confident lady in any and all circumstances, as well as putting on a show if ever she needs to.
  
  While she prefers more feminine activities, such as attending sewing circles, and embroidery and needlepoint, as well as shopping for fashionable frocks, she is by no means simple-minded or empty-headed. She likes to keep up to date on politics, and she is a devoted loyalist, and she is always up to date on current events. She is far more clever than many would expect her to be. For someone who is tends to be so frivolous, she is does have a good head on her shoulders. She is also very witty and she always loves to think of clever comebacks and retorts.
  
  However, despite her intelligence and quick wit, she does have a tendency to be a little too frivolous. She can be a little vain and a little too self-centered from time to time. She can be a little too obsessed with her physical appearance. Her sheltered life and never having to worry about money has left her to become a little bit too detached from people of a lower class, despite all of her charitable endeavors. There is a huge disconnect, and despite her compassion for those of a lower class, she wouldn't be able to survive on her own, outside of the lap of luxury that she had been raised in.
  
  With her plain speaking and blunt mannerisms from time to time, she also tends to lack any sort of tact with the way she speaks. She can ask questions, and while she does care about other peoples feelings, the way she phrases things, and the way that she asks questions, can come off as rather insensitive. Of course, she doesn't mean to, however, it does make her come off as insensitive. However, it is never meant in malice, and she never takes it too far. She is always apologetic when she does realize that she has offended someone, and she always tries to make it right.

  History:
  Meliora was born in London, England to Theophile Gardener and Ursula Spranklin Gardener. Her mother died soon after her birth and her father never remarried. Meliora grew up close to her father, but he was so rarely home. However, he did spoil her. He would often bring her presents from when he was away. She grew up never having a care in the world, and it most definitely shows. She grew up far more concerned with frocks and dancing and taking tea. She was most definitely spoiled and while it never hindered her natural sweetness, it did hinder the way she saw the world.
