Laying fast asleep on his bed Soul was snoring.

Maka woke up first for the school day once the light hit her eyes starting to get up for the school day, looking at Soul sleeping still as she gets ready for her Maka Chop as she chops her partners head, "Wake up, we are going to late to school." He said glaring at him, pulling Soul out of bed

"Don't wanna wake me up later" he said rubbing his head and turning around in bed

 

[The Hopeful Child]

Maka groaned, as she then pulled him from his bed and tried to forcefully dragged him to school and off his lazy butt, "Come on Soul, how about this, after class we will go get some souls you can eat."

Soul stood up immediately. "I'm cool with that" he said grinning.

"Finally, now lets get going." Maka said as she grabs his arm as she starts to pull him along to the DWMA, he was always a sucker for eating souls, she thought as she thought that was a good thing too,

Grinning as he got dragged along Soul couldn't wait for classes to be over.

Maka smiled as he came along before coming serious as she writes down some notes from class, probably having to make a copy for Soul since he was obviously thinking about his treat after school, when the bell rang she poked Soul, "Come on Soul, time for your dinner."

"Sweet" he said getting on to his motorcycle he motioned for Maka to sit behind him. "Where we going first?" he stated with a devilish grin

Maka sat down as she reads the profile of the corrupted soul needed to be eaten, "Dallas, Texas - The Eyeball killer has his ends meeting." She said as she held on to the underside of the motorcycle so she wouldn't fall off.

"Alright let's go then" he said revving it up before pulling out heading towards Dallas Texas.

 

[The Hopeful Child]

She gave a nod as she sighed, now getting off the motorcycle. "Charles Albright, the Eyeball Killer. Prepare to pay for your sins." Maka said pointing at the now demonic looking human, "Soul?" She asks, although it was more like a command as she holds out her hands.

"Right" he said

Maka swung Soul, that was now in weapon form once the killer arrived, she cut the left side of his body as that slipped open, revealing the soul for Soul to eat. "Enjoy your food.." She said sighing.

"I will thanks". he stated returning to his human form and taking the soul.

Maka gave a sigh before asking her partner something "Hey can we go now?" she said sighing looking at Soul, and at the now setting sun,

"Sure" he said not really sure why she was sighing so much

She got back on the motorcycle as she gives a small smile, perhaps it was because they were going to go no, looking over at Soul wondering when he was going to be getting on

Soul got on to the his bike and drove back home.

When back at the dorms, Maka looked at Soul, as she starts to goes to try to make some food for her before going to sleep after, "Soul want some, or was that treat that fulling."

"I'm good" he stated, "I'm gonna hit the showers" he said wondering why Maka was going to bed so early in the day.

Maka looked at the time, remembering there was a test the next day from the teacher. As she smiles, remembering that Soul would be failing yet another test, if he did not cheat successfully.

"Yeah yeah" he said not really caring. "Besides I got you around to help me out with that" he snickered before walking into the bathroom.
