Hey guys! This is the CS thread. I am asking you to please give your character only one power that isn't too powerful or versatile since they can all do spells, potions and stuff like that. If you have questions I am available in the OOC or through PM so don't be afraid to ask me.

The Bookworm
She suspected (and kept refusing to believe) that her family had magic in their blood but wasn’t sure until their powers awoke. She is the one that can find a book for every problem and has very little trouble finding information, she is also the one who has the most trouble getting used to being a witch since her life used to be all about logic, facts and things one can explain.

The Athlete
Her world revolves around healthy living and keeping in shape for the next competition. When magic enters her life she first denies it and ignores her powers, until she can't and has to face that her life indeed changed forever, whether she likes it or not.

The Free spirit
The one who takes her new life and embraces it, she loves the fact that magic exists and takes it as a new adventure to look forward to. She usually goes by instinct and isn’t afraid to have a good time even if it might sometimes get her into a little bit of trouble.

The princess
She is used to getting what she wants so when she finds out she is a witch she thinks she could rise to the top and become queen of campus. Too bad her powers have consequences if used for personal gain. When she casts a spell it tends to get her into trouble and all sorts of incidents happen to make her feel like magic has it out for her.

You can also submit a CS for a different type of role, as long as it will fit into the RP I will most likely be okay with it. Best way to make sure is by letting me know about your idea.

You can also play the adult characters of the family (mother and aunt) or people in their lives (lovers, schoolmates, rivals, best friends, a cousin, etc...)

Personality: Sadie doesn't like to admit it, but she can be stubborn. Most of the time, she likes to think of herself as pretty flexible, but there are times when she puts her foot down. She doesn't let anyone live her life except her, and doesn't allow others concerns or judgments determine her decisions or cloud her own viewpoint. Patient and understanding, she's a good person to go to for advice, although you might not get what you're looking for out of her. Her viewpoints aren't shared by everyone.

Past: Sadie is the definition of free spirit. Not quite a hippie but not far off, she definitely prefers comfort over style any day of the week. Though she still eats meat and forgets to recycle, she cares about the earth and those in it. She never likes to stay put for long; she needs movement and fluidity in her life, or else she gets bored, and when she gets bored, she gets destructive. She doesn't mean to, it just... happens. So even as a child, her parents had her in all sorts of extra-curriculars. Singing, dancing, art-- whatever she could fit into her schedule.

Now that she's an adult, she's mainly the same way. She prefers to keep busy, but she likes to do what she wants to do. That's why the flower shop and her get along so well. It's a job she's had the longest, and she plans on keeping it. Her boss is free spirited as well, and understands Sadie's need to move, so she makes sure Sadie always has something to do. She couldn't keep a previous job to save her life, but she's been at the shop since she was sixteen.

Dislikes: Haters, judgemental people, squeaky shoes, centipedes, very cold weather, scratchy clothing,...

Weaknesses/Fears: Drowning, being stuck in an elevator, being buried alive.

Power: Witch eyes -she can see spells and curses in the form of translucent, barely visible spiderwebs of different colors that let her know the nature of a spell or curse. It tends to give her headaches if used often and can turn into a severe migraine if her witch eyes are overused.

Personality: Aubrey is the caring one of her sisters. She tends to worry about her sisters and wants to help whenever she sees one of them troubled. Aubrey is mostly an adventurous and artistic type, she loves painting and doing arts and crafts so most of her room is decorated with her own artful creations from paintings, dream catchers to vases and others. Aubrey isn't the type to give much value on popularity but isnt exactly proud of the fact that in highschool she was stamped with the lable of freak. She does care a bit about her looks and appearance but isn't one to spend hours in the bathroom and doesn't give much on luxury labels. All she needs are clothes that are trendy and comfortable and she hates scratchy fabrics.

She loves to hang out with her friends because they accept her the way she is and around them she isn't afraid to be herself. Despite seeming like a kind girl she does have the potential for mean actions if she is wronged or someone she is close to is being mistreated, making her a vengeful person if she has to be, she strongly dislikes lies and liars bring out her inner b*tch. Aubrey isn't afraid to say her mind but tries not to be hurtful with her words and avoids telling people lies because she knows how much they hurt her and doesn't want others to feel that way.

Past: Aubrey's past wasn't really all that eventful. She was raised by her mother and aunt because the girl's father had died when she was five years old. Aubrey was closest to their free-spirited aunt and they often spend time together doing art or taking walks to collect materials for her aunt's sculptures. Aubrey was also close to her sisters and she really cares about them, one of them gave Aubrey the nickname Birdy because as a child she was like one and also had a phase where she was obsessed with birds and kept making all sorts of bird shaped art.

Magic will seem to be her best route to status, but she doesn't yet realize that it has a cost...

Past: Cassidy has always dreamed of reaching the top. She wants to be a movie star, to have the whole world wondering about her next move. In elementary school, she always tried to take the lead in everything the school did, and it has been no different since then. She's done some modeling on the side, nothing spectacular, but enough to give her a little pocket change. Mostly, though, she's been navigating the political minefield that is school, and doing quite well. She just needs something to put her over the top...

Personality: Emmeline is a happy, go lucky girl. She’s very kind and charming. She loves to joke around with her friends, and she loves to tease them. She’s very talkative and loves to make friends with as many people as possible. She’s a bit cocky and sometimes overly self-confident and occasionally overestimates her own abilities. She’s loud, brash, and reckless. She doesn’t think twice to tell her friends that she loves them. She’s an incredibly loyal.

Past: Emmeline looks back on her childhood warmly. She was very young when their father died, and she really doesn’t remember much about him. She always appreciated the support system that was her sisters, her mom, and her aunt. Em was a rough and tumble kid who was constantly getting into one mess or another. She insisted on playing for every sports team she had the time for, which resulted in more than it’s fair share of childhood injuries.

Power: The ability to turn inanimate objects into 'living' things that can fight for her. Generally does this to sculptures(always carries a little bit of clay on her)

Personality: Theodosia is a friendly old lady that doesn't care what people think of her. She acts weird and has many rumors spread around about her with the neighbors, but she doesn't treat them any different, still inviting them in for tea or for a quick snack. She tries to make friends instead of enemies and is just trying to have some fun in her short life. She often finds herself smiling and making jokes even if her car broke down, not letting those silly things ruin her mood and just trying to have a little fun. She doesn't get embarrassed often, laughing at her own mistakes and taking them as learning experiences and funny stories to look back on.

Past: Theo honestly wasn't anything like she was now when she was a kid. She was ill tempered and took her life for granted, doing stupid and risky stuff. This changed however when she got on a boat with some friends. Unfortunately for them said boat crashed. Theo could still remember the feeling of the ice cold water pulling her under, struggling to breathe and swim, not knowing where her friends were and if they were ok. That night stuck with her even today and going anywhere near a boat or touching water gets her heart pumping. She was thankful for a passing ship that managed to notice her, but one of her friends wasn't so lucky and was left paralyzed after this incident. Herself and her friends may have been risky at the beginning of that night, but after that they all became really close and are still friends to this day. After that incident she also threw herself more into her... 'personal' studies and began to read and practice her magic more.

Likes: Homemade herbal products, taking care of her girls, order and cleanliness, cinnamon, writing entries into the family book of shadows...

Dislikes: A messy house, using magic for personal gain, having to ground her children, people breaking her rules, people who hurt her family in any way (with words or otherwise)...

Weaknesses/Fears: Her children getting hurt, fears her children hating her for not telling them that they are witches, fears having her hands restrained.

Power: Extrasensory perception - aka sixth sense.

Personality: Melinda is a woman that likes things to be in order and just the way she wants them to be. Yes some might even say she is a control freak because she often says stuff like "don't do this, don't do that, don't go there, put that back where it belongs" etc... But all that is because she is very smart and knows much about how things work, especially with magic. She is the way she is because of her fierce love for family and a protective instinct she can't stop even if she wanted to. Her kids and sister are her world so she tries to be a good mother and give them a normal life since she couldn't undo the seal to the kid's powers and she thought them knowing about magic would only hurt them.

Past: Melinda came from a family of witches whose ancestors could be traced back further than the 1400s. She and her sister were raised knowing what they are and Melinda loved her magic even if they had to hide it from ordinary people. Until she was sixteen she didn't care about consequences from her spells but that year a classmate of hers died because of a spell she did wrong. Ever since then she became more careful with anything she did and always considered the consequences of her actions. She met the love of her life while in college, they married and had the children but sadly he died and left her to raise her kids alone, well with the help of her sister of course.
