Advice/Help So, I've never played before...

I've never played any sort of tabletop RPG before, but I have wanted to for years. Unfortunately, it's not a popular thing where I live and for lack of anywhere to play, I thought I would try searching online places. Like I said, I've never played and I don't know anything about character creation, so if there are any newbie friendly groups I could join that would help me out, I'd be forever in your debt!
