Snowed In Vacation
Every year, the graduating class of Willow Creek Highschool goes on a trip during their winter break to Nova Resort, a ski lodge that is about five hours away from their home town. The trip is planned for three days (two nights) full of skiing or snowboarding, snow shoeing, fun in the snow or just hanging out by the fireplace in the lodge. Three days of you and your friends, hanging out and doing whatever you want at the ski lodge. Of course, this also means that there’s a chance that your enemy, crush, or ex will be there too. It’s known to be the highlight of the year, something that no one would ever want to miss. They even plan a dance for the class on their last night there.
In years past, the weather has always been perfect for the trip. Sunny, yet cold enough for the snow to be perfect for winter sports. But this year on the day that the graduating class was supposed to leave for the ski lodge, the weather channel announced the looming threat of a terrible blizzard. The teachers of the trip all met together, trying to figure out what to do. Knowing that the forecasters have been mostly wrong before, they decided to go on the trip anyway. They were sure that they’d make it home before the storm anyway.
Little did they know, the weather forecasters would be right this time. There was a horrible blizzard on its way, which would make the graduating class become snowed in, stuck at the ski lodge. From what the news channels will be saying, there’s a chance the blizzard will be ongoing for a few days, possibly longer. And then who knows how long it will take to get someone to come dig out the ski lodge.
You’ll be with your friends or significant other yes, but don’t forget about everyone else. Your enemy you can’t stand, your ex that drives you crazy, the always fighting couple, the ‘just broke up couple’, maybe even the person you just happen to be cheating on your significant other with. So you better get settled, because you’ll be stuck with all of your classmates and who knows when you’ll be getting out.
