Fantasy Sneaking Around the Village

I thought of this really cool role play and I was hoping to get a small group started.


Here's the scenario,


Motherless, Aleethia lives in her palace deep in a iced cave with her father King Tera. They rule over a large village called Mintoria, which her father protects with his magical capabilities to manipulate water, usually involving ice. King Tera is very over barring and protective over her, since the death of her mother when she was two. Aleethia loves the cold and has adapted to it quite well to the point she doesn't need coverage, so has most people in the village. She spends her days exploring the cave and meeting all the villagers, but only unidentified. No one in the village has ever seen Aleethia under her fathers command, but she finds ways to get out of the castle. She uses the identity of Alee, a village scavenger. Alee doesn't have many friends in the village in fear they'll figure out that she's the princess, but she does keep a very close eye on a group of high school students, around the same age as she. She follows them around in the village ease dropping on their conversations. She learns that they plan to leave the cave and hopes to build up the courage to join them. Little does she know this particular group has secrets of their own. She knows nothing of the world out side the cave and only hears the horror stories the villagers gossip about in the town.

Name: Princess Aleethia


Nickname: Alee


Age: 19


Appearance: 5'3" in height, a curvy woman. Is engulfed in her pearl white wavy hair. She has one long wolf-tail braid with a single white dove feather attached to the base of the braid. She wears a gold tiara with a single Aquamarine gem at it's center. Her eyes are a pail blue and the area between the lower part of her forehead and the middle of the bridge of her nose is black, it's her form of make-up. As well as full red lips that she usually stains with a special mixture of strawberries and pomegranates. She's usually barefooted because she likes to be as close to the earth as possible. She wears a loose white mid-evil tunic top with poofy sleeves and a gold choker, as well as a golden arm band, a floor length dark blue slitted skirt that leaves either side of her legs uncovered. She carries a hooked staff that she uses to climb and reach things high above her due to she small stature, although she is the best at climbing to hard to reach places. She wears dark blue glovelettes so that she doesn't cut her hands while climbing.


Biggest Dream : Venture off into the the unknown world and have loyal friends. Earn her father's trust.


BIggest Fear: Rejection and to be hidden all her life.


Pet: Frost, an Arctic wolf. Has white iris' and the sharpest teeth known to the villagers knowledge. Only loyal to Aleethia.


Skills/Abilities:[/highlight] Able to be absolutely silent, usually is how she is so easily able to sneak around without being detected. In the mist of learning ice magic, only knows basic spells, although very good with potions. Excellent at climbing. Ironically good at lying, since she's named after the goddess of truth.

Abilities: She hides the fact that she is a contortionist. She can make herself invisible for about 5 minutes at a time. She knows how to conjure small flames, nothing beyond that.


Short Bio: She never usually had friends when she was young. She had above average intellect, and other kids would call her a know-it-all when she pointed things out or explained anything. She therefore secluded herself from everyone, choosing instead to take companionship with books. She is only part of the group because she wants to escape this wretched place.


Other: She has a pet ferret named Galatea, who usually hides in her handbag.

Well it pretty much is cx


Detailed - these roleplays require a minimum of 3 paragraphs in each post, usually people want 4 or 5 though.


(Paragraphs are considered 4 or 5 sentences each.)


Casual - these are the most common. Roleplays here expect at least one paragraph each, but usually want at least 2.


Simple - these roleplays have no writing requirements at all! It can be anything from one-liners to 5 paragraphs!


So yeah ^-^ also, you know how to post threads, right?

Well I managed to figure out how to post the "sneaking around the village" scenario but I'm not sure how to make the different lobbies for the OOC & CS? Btw thank you so much for taking the time to help me!

No problem, I love helping ^-^ I'm up anyway, right? xD Anyway I'll explain through *sparkle* steps!


Step 1: Go to the RpNation home page.


Step 2: Scroll down until you find the role play areas. Fantasy, Fandom, Realistic, etc.


Step 3: Since this is a fantasy roleplay, go to the fantasy page.


Step 4: Near the top of the page, there should be a blue bar with white letters that says, 'Post New Thread'. That's where you go to create the thread ^-^


Step 5: Now you'll have to put in your title, write the description, pick the writing level (casual, simple, detailed), and post it! You also have the option of adding a poll to it.


(Go do that now, then come back and read the rest of the steps!)


Step 6: Now, it should be posted. You'll have four tabs that automatically come with it, and a fifth tab which is used to request more tabs. Rules, lore, NPCs (non playable characters), and all that good stuff.


Step 7: In overview, you'll write down the general plot of the RP, what it's about. In OOC, people normally just put, 'For all your OOC needs!' or something like that. The Character Sign-Up tab is where you'll make the character sheets, as well as post your own. I'll help with that when the time comes if you need it~

Alexandria stands at 5'5, and weighs in at a general range (depending on her muscle condition and diet) of 115-130 lb. While she doesn't boast any large curves, she has a certain raw beauty to her lithe, carved form. She lends some of this, as well as her luscious, shoulder-length, black hair and olive-tanned complexion, to her father, who was something of a pirate in his early days. She usually clothes herself with a form-fitting pair of black tights paired with a white, tailored blouse on top. She compliments the no-nonsense appearance with a pair of white socks and black, flat-footed slippers. She ties her hair either in a bun or a loose ponytail with a brooch that previously belonged to her mother's : smooth, maltese-grey jade inlaid with 12 strange, star-patterned sapphires.


She appears a little older than most her age, thanks to her thin, pouty lips and a constant slight sag under her eyes, due to her rather rigorous schedule between helping her father's tinkering business and schooling.


Her hands may seem delicate, but once some exertion has been made, several thick veins pop out, a mark of years of her experience in the family business. Her feet are gracefully arched, though the soles are calloused from her walks into the surrounding forest.


The most notable feature, aside from all of the listed above, are the tattoos resting over her heart and right under her left shoulder blade. Near her breast is the depiction of what could be the 7 adorned heads of dragons or goats, and on her back is a black spiral that would feel like scales. Both of these are outlined in a ring of red arteries in the shape of stars.


Desire :


Alexandria, at heart, simply wants the power to be free, to have absolute sovereign. By extension, she also desires the sovereignty of those "who have not", more specifically those who lack the innate gifts of magic in a world where there are increasingly higher amounts of disparity from "those who have" every passing day.


Fear :


Her fear is that, like she read in the books and heard from her own father's experience, someone or something would come along her way and wrestle that sovereignty from her for their own benefits.


Skills :

• Mechanics - With school-based theories to back up her speculations of physics and kinetics, Alexandria uses her real-world practice as a tool repairer to analyze and diagnose the problems in mechanical devices.
  
• Endurance - Having been raised in a far off country where the society was based on a hybridized form of tyranny and meritocracy, Alexandria has developed a mindset early on in her life to doggedly pursue a goal, at all costs. This has extended to her choice of pursuing lengthy activities that test her endurance, effectively shaping her body to adjust to grueling sessions of pain and exhaustion, whatever the obstacle.
  
• Gifted - Alexandria can practice magic.
  
• Consignment of the Dragon - Alexandria, while already being "gifted" with the knack for magic, desired something beyond what she could do humanly. So, out of her own accord, she established something less of a covenant, but more of a contract with her life as ransom : if the magic in question clouds the minds of others, or uses Aether (that which is light, fire, and energy), it will be strengthened exponentially. In exchange, she consigns her body to an old evil every new moon and eclipse, forcing her to indulge in perverse atrocities that on other days, she'd be terrified of even thinking about.

Well, firstLy, welcome to the wonderful world of RPn, secondly, what would the reaction be to someone being new to the cave? Like a character who ended up at the cave on accident or the teens planning on leaving found a way to get a communication to the outside world and someone answered, showing up one day out of nowhere.
