Jhenkin was always the strange type. A pianist at heart, yet what was left of his heart was a mere coldness and emptiness.
He longed for love. For acceptance, but was never allowed it. The people loved the performances he gave, but they didn’t love him.
Then he finds a girl. A young girl, 19 years old at most. Pretty, kind, his type. He begins to obsess over this girl, in a dangerous way. This “girl” wasn’t even a human to him.
And as the story progresses, we learn more about who Jhenkin is, as we watch him slip deep into psychosis.
