His magic was very destructive so he got in lots of trouble messing around with it. When he became an adult he set out on his journey to become a wizard and join a guild. He looked and looked around until he came across Siren's Song. Which he took a liking to.

Skills: Cassandra possesses decent Swordsmanship (though nothing incredible, she can hold her own), has a vast knowledge of magics, and is a practiced strategist. Outside of combat, she is a great cook, and is great at solving puzzles and riddles.

Strengths: Cassandra is a fairly intelligent girl, making up for her lack of physical prowess. She is also fairly level headed and logical. Cassandra is also well versed in many different magics. While she can't use them, she knows about a lot of major types, allowing her to figure out a wizards strengths and weaknesses a bit more easily.

Weaknesses: Cassandra's physical strength and agility can't contend with more combat based Wizards, meaning in most fights she's at a disadvantage without a teammate to back her up. She also tends to lack a true sense of self preservation, often thinking of her guild mates and friends first. This means she'll often throw herself in front of a friend in danger, leading to injury or worse for herself. Additionally, Cassandra can only use up to two of her spells at a time, and cannot buff a teammate while also weakening an enemy. She must choose one or the other, even buffing multiple teammates at once can prove to be a challenge.

Equipment: Cassandra carries a small, simple short sword with her at all times, her only real means of offense when enchanted. She doesn't wear any armor, finding it heavy and restrictive, though she does wear a long violet cloak made of a lightweight material that she regularly enchants with protection enhancements.

She often missed out on playing or making friends due to her rigorous studying, hence why she grew up so quiet and detached from others.

By the time she had turned 18, her family practically begged her to join a guild, telling her they wanted to live the glorious life they never could. Cassandra agreed, though for her own reasons. She saw the guilds as a way to help those around her, to keep the peace in Hargeon and around the world, and so she was eager to join. After searching around, she ended up deciding to join Siren's Song, where she has been for the past few months.

Personality: Skye is someone who can be described as very relaxed, and likes to simply go with the flow. He also tends to avoid any sort of confrontation, and usually never takes sides when an argument occurs. He prefers to live out his life without any drama or negativity, and isn't very ambitious (most especially when compared to his other peers in the guild). When the situation calls for it, he can be very adaptable, and is capable of handling difficult situations without causing a scene or panicking. It's also hard to get him mad, almost to the point where people aren't even sure he's capable of the emotion.

AERIAL SHOT: The user swipes their hand and levitates nearby rocks, which are then shot at their target
AERIAL DOME: The user creates a dome, lowering the oxygen within the affected area and as a result, suffocating all inside due to the lack of oxygen in the environment; As the pressure has been altered inside the dome, those within it experience a sharp pain in their ears
AERIAL PHOSE: After swinging both of their hands in a circular motion around their body, the user pulls their target towards them, before enveloping them in a sphere like cyclone to inflict damage as well as destroy any surrounding obstacles

Fighting Style: Skye mainly fights using his magic, and can take both a directly offensive or a support role if needed. He is also quite skilled with a sword, but finds that he doesn't really need to use this skill as much.

Skills: Skye is a skilled (but slightly rusty from lack of practice) swordsman, and is well-versed in all things air or wind magic. He can also cook and bake, and is a good swimmer.

Clothing Style: She typically clothes herself in more comfortable and practical clothing. Cotton shirts or tunics and trousers as well as a coat with boots. However, she has been gifted a more professional-looking clothing that she wears when there are meetings or when it is needed.

Personality: Vivianne, for all she's been through, is a rather lively woman. Most people would say that she often has her head in the clouds as she typically gets distracted very quickly in casual settings. Most have said that it is hard to keep her attention to something for an elongated amount of time. She struggles to stay still. During guild meetings, she zones out but forces herself to pay attention. She is someone who prizes the present, but does take care for the future and the past as well. For all her apparent flightiness, she is a surprisingly good at giving advices. That is, if you would take the time to listen to her.

Her loyalty to the guild and the guildmaster is great - swearing that she will protect that which is dear to her. Vivianne will do anything for the guild which is often why she would be seen taking mission after mission so that the guild can earn its money to be able to continue. In combat, Vivianne is cold and unfeeling - all the flightiness she seems to have seem to disappear. When she has a goal, she will do everything she can do it.

The problem is that Vivianne is too driven in her goals - often doing something that would be most efficient even at the cost of her own self. She would not bring harm to others but herself? That's complete fair game. She has no sense of self-preservation and will fight anything to the death unless someone whom she respects and listens to stops her. Vivianne does not immediately seek for medical help if there is something else to do. Call her self-sacrificial or suicidal but Vivianne just doesn't get why she should care for herself.

Likes: Animals, Nature, Alcohol, Magazines, Fighting, Taking things easy, Relaxing under the sun

Backstory

Backstory: Vivianne did not lead a very well-off life. Both her parents are poor, barely being able to feed themselves let along a child they had made. Yet, her parents had not let her go. No, not yet. After all, she had her own uses. When you are starving and have a child by yourself, people take more pity on you. That was how Vivianne started her life, merely a tool for her parents to further survive. But that was fine. After all, she was still fed. Not well taken care of but she does survive. Sometimes, they take her out to beg. Other times, she goes out alone. Typically, they garner enough. At the times that they don't, her parents take them as priority and Vivianne as third.

The older she got, the fewer food she got. After all, if you grow older, you can work. She was barely thirteen years old when she came back to their small, makeshift shack and found that her parents were not there. She had stayed there for a day and a half before figuring out that she had been left alone. Without an aim to talk for, she had gone back to the town and begged for more scraps. But she found little need to since there was no one to feed but herself and it has been drilled into her head that she was unimportant. She stayed in the town 24/7 up until she was picked up by a mage adventurer who took pity in her.

Reiner Howell was a well-meaning man and Vivianne latched onto him as a sort of support - as the person she should help and serve. Reiner did not notice this dependence and simply took her for the ride. Reiner was a user of Take Over magic and taught Vivianne how to use it as well as she has the potential she had. She had slowly begun to be able to use the magic with little problem. Both Reiner and Vivianne fight beasts and absorbs them into their arsenal.

It was all good and all. They were registering many beasts into their magical arsenal and the both of them were a duo to be reckoned with. However, there was one mission where they had to split up. The plan had been to trap their opponent and take them out together. Unfortunately, Vivianne had encountered the beast first while Reiner was still too far away to be able to help or even know she was in trouble. Vivianne had woken up outside the area of fighting with an injured Reiner by her side. Heavily injured, he would not be able to continue such dangerous missions anymore. Still, he explained what had happened. He had found Vivianne fighting the Beast and taking over the Beast bit by bit through sheer animalistic instinct. When Reiner had come in to help with the fight, they had quickly defeated the already weakened Beast. But Vivianne had already been slowly shifting to the Beast and did a full-body takeover. Even in her weakened state, she was still a difficult fight for Reiner.

Guilt-ridden, Vivianne still follows him on his adventures because she did not know any better but she was the only one to get into fights and missions so that both of them could be able to live. When Julia Seaver had been searching for mages to aid her, Reiner had asked Vivianne to help. And so she did. Vivianne was one of the front fighters and stayed when Julia had made Siren's Song. Reiner had retired to the house now that Vivianne has a constant supply of money.

Strengths: Vivianne is versatile in combat. She has an incredible fighting instinct and has a high alarm system for attacks directed towards her. She also has excellent stamina that allows her to fight for an elongated amount of time.

Weaknesses: Vivianne is not opposed to getting harmed if that means she can defeat someone faster. When on the brink of passing out, animal instincts kick in and she will go on a rampage without knowing which is friend or foe. She is weak against long range opponent as she needs to travel to them to attack. She does not know how to take the lead for others.

Backstory:
Minato Kagura was born in a village of ninja. His mother was leader of their Demon Hunting Ninja force. Since the old days, the most gifted magic users of their village had used their powers to fight the hellish monsters who desired to wreak havoc on the people. His mother, Iroha Kagura was known as the "Demonblade" as her "Sealing Magic" allowed her to bond the spirit of her fallen enemy to her weapon. Minato's father was a Wizard who had passed through the village on a journey and had conceived Minato with Iroha the night before he left. From a young age, Minato showed signs of disinterest and rebellion. He chafed under the rigid rules of the village elders and desired to make a living with his magic. Minato discovered his magic allowed him to teleport anywhere he wanted. Training with it, he soon became impossible to defeat as his speed and ferocity were simply too much for the other young ninja. Things came to a head when Minato saw a girl being abused by her father. The man was the right hand of their elder. Iroha encouraged her son to go through the right channels to see him punished but Minato soon found that the system quashed any hope of bringing his abuse to light. The man openly taunted Minato, threatening to exile him if he made a move. In response, Minato struck him down with a single warp strike gut punch. Choosing to leave of his own free will, Minato thanked his mother for raising him. Deciding to find his father, Minato's travels led him to Hargeon where he was recommended to the guildmaster of the local wizard guild. Personality: Vivianne, for all she's been through, is a rather lively woman. Backstory: Vivianne did not lead a very well-off life. Both her parents are poor, barely being able to feed themselves let along a child they had made. Yet, her parents had not let her go. No, not yet. After all, she had her own uses. When you are starving and have a child by yourself, people take more pity on you. That was how Vivianne started her life, merely a tool for her parents to further survive. But that was fine. After all, she was still fed. Not well taken care of but she does survive. Sometimes, they take her out to beg. Other times, she goes out alone. Typically, they garner enough. At the times that they don't, her parents take them as priority and Vivianne as third.

The older she got, the fewer food she got. After all, if you grow older, you can work. She was barely thirteen years old when she came back to their small, makeshift shack and found that her parents were not there. She had stayed there for a day and a half before figuring out that she had been left alone. Without an aim to talk for, she had gone back to the town and begged for more scraps. But she found little need to since there was no one to feed but herself and it has been drilled into her head that she was unimportant. She stayed in the town 24/7 up until she was picked up by a mage adventurer who took pity in her.

Reiner Howell was a well-meaning man and Vivianne latched onto him as a sort of support - as the person she should help and serve. Reiner did not notice this dependence and simply took her for the ride. Reiner was a user of Take Over magic and taught Vivianne how to use it as well as she has the potential she had. She had slowly begun to be able to use the magic with little problem. Both Reiner and Vivianne fight beasts and absorbs them into their arsenal.

Personality | Fayre is a rather shy person around new people. She’s not the one to take a lot of space, but she doesn’t like being overlooked either. She’s a cup half full thinker, and tends to turn the most dreadful situations into something positive.

One could say that Fayre is easily manipulated. She’s gullible, naive and just generally sees the best in people – even when there is no good things to see. She does not get sarcasm, and would probably trust you even if you said you were a flying pink cow with five legs.

She’s also easily spooked. Stand behind her and say “boo” and she’ll probably jump. Despite this, she can be brave if she have to in order to help those who she care about. Fayre is a bit clumsy. And by a bit, I mean a lot. If there’s something to trip on, Fayre’s there to fall and land on her face.

When Fayre is hungry, she goes all dragon on everyone around her. That’s basically the only time you have a chance of seeing her angry.

Fighting style | Fayre is a support. No offensive skills – she exists only to heal her allies. Were she, for some reason, being forced to fight, she’d probably go for a good old kick in the face, or a whack on the head with her walking stick.
Skills | Extraordinary healer. A pretty good dancer, if she can say so herself. Running, if there’s nothing to trip over in her way.
Strengths | Never losing faith, being able to recover fast in battle (assuming there’s fresh air nearby), good at following orders. Mostly.
Weaknesses | If using to much of her healing magic, Fayre will be fatigued. Otherwise, weak both offence-wise and defence-wise. She’s basically knocked out if she for some reason have to fight or defend herself. Also, being clumsy and easily spooked can be a real con during battle.

She used to travel from town to town, constantly getting into trouble, or running away from those who took special interest in her as a Dragon Slayer. Always lonely, Fayre sought companionship. That’s when she got her eyes open for the possibility of joining a guild (“wait a minute, I can do magic!”). Hearing about the Siren’s Song, she first thought of the name as pretty. And so she set out to find its location, and hopefully a family within.

One could say that Fayre is easily manipulated. She’s gullible, naive and just generally sees the best in people – even when there is no good things to see. She does not get sarcasm, and would probably trust you even if you said you were a flying pink cow with five legs.

She’s also easily spooked. Stand behind her and say “boo” and she’ll probably jump. Despite this, she can be brave if she have to in order to help those who she care about. Fayre is a bit clumsy. And by a bit, I mean a lot. If there’s something to trip on, Fayre’s there to fall and land on her face.

When Fayre is hungry, she goes all dragon on everyone around her. That’s basically the only time you have a chance of seeing her angry.

Healing – So far, Fayre can only use her healing magic to some extent. She has yet to develop any offensive skills, nor any other supporting skills.
She can consume the air around her to restore her body and vitality. However, if the air were to be polluted or something else like that, Fayre would be negatively affected.
Fighting style | Fayre is a support. No offensive skills – she exists only to heal her allies. Were she, for some reason, being forced to fight, she’d probably go for a good old kick in the face, or a whack on the head with her walking stick.
Skills | Extraordinary healer. A pretty good dancer, if she can say so herself. Running, if there’s nothing to trip over in her way.
Strengths | Never losing faith, being able to recover fast in battle (assuming there’s fresh air nearby), good at following orders. Mostly.
Weaknesses | If using to much of her healing magic, Fayre will be fatigued. Otherwise, weak both offence-wise and defence-wise. She’s basically knocked out if she for some reason have to fight or defend herself. Also, being clumsy and easily spooked can be a real con during battle.

View attachment 582318Very brief Background | Fayre doesn’t really remember much from her childhood. She suffers from amenesia and can only remember events from about a year and a half ago.

She used to travel from town to town, constantly getting into trouble, or running away from those who took special interest in her as a Dragon Slayer. Always lonely, Fayre sought companionship. That’s when she got her eyes open for the possibility of joining a guild (“wait a minute, I can do magic!”). Hearing about the Siren’s Song, she first thought of the name as pretty. And so she set out to find its location, and hopefully a family within.

Personality: Generally, Julia is a friendly woman, with a strong sense of right and wrong. She cares for all innocent people, and is overly protective of her guild members. Unlike most guild masters, Julia enjoys drinking, partying and causing harmless trouble. She has a great sense of humor, and believes that having fun is the most important thing in life. Her fun-loving attitude has made some people think that she is immature, reckless and unfit to lead Siren’s Song, but Julia is able to be serious when she needs to be, and she usually thinks before acting. A form of Magic revolving around the element of water, placed under the user's command for them to utilize for various purposes.

  • Water Body: A spell which allows the user to turn their own physical body into a mass of water, rendering any physical attack useless. However, this spell is rendered useless against Magic that directly targets the user's senses, such as Maguilty Sense.
  • Water Bubbles: The user creates bubbles of water with oxygen trapped inside that enable those who put their heads in the bubbles to breathe underwater.
  • Water Cane: The user transforms their hand into a whip composed of water to strike their opponent.
  • Water Dome: The user creates a dome of water around themselves, camouflaging them with the surrounding water, if present.
  • Water Jigsaw: The user transforms part of their body into a swirling mass of water slicers that can slice their opponents like a saw.
  • Water Lock: The user creates a large sphere of water that can be used to attack their target while they are trapped inside it. The water can be frozen, allowing the one trapped inside to escape.

  • Wings of Love: The user lifts their left arm high and swings it downwards, subsequently swinging their extended right arm backwards and stretching it upwards, creating a ferocious whirlpool laced with neon pink hearts. This spell has been seen capable of pushing opponents away with great physical force.
  • Water Claw: The user slashes their water-covered hands, creating a torrent of water that engulfs their target.
  • Maguilty Water: With a Maguilty Sense user and Water user, their powers can be combined together for a more powerful and destructive attack. Water-Make: Water-Make is a type of Molding Magic that lets the user (presumably) create, but at the very least manipulate, existing water. The water that the user is able to manipulate is not limited to just pure water, but also things in which water is rich, such as blood.
  • Water-Make: Blood: By manipulating the water present in blood, the user can transfer their existing blood into the body of another person, thereby saving that person from death by blood loss.
Unison Raid: An extremely powerful ability that allows two Mages to unite two kinds of Magic similar in nature together, thereby creating an even stronger attack.
Telepathy: This is a type of Magic that allows the user to be able to talk with other people through their thoughts and converse over long distances.
Fighting Style: Julia can fight from close range or long range, using her water magic to beat her enemies down. If she needs to, she will use one of her evasive methods to flee the battle.
Skills: Julia is a great leader. She is an excellent swimmer, fisherman and sailor. She is also a good strategist.
Strengths: Her magic deals high damage. She is good at both close range and long range combat. She is good against fire users. She has high endurance, and a good mind for battle.

Backstory: Julia Seaver was born on July 8th, X754, on a sunny day when the sea was calm. Her mother, Elizabeth, had always been very sick, and died shortly after Julia was born. She was thus raised by her father, but Julia never complained. He was a poor sailor, who sold fish, but he was a good man. He taught Julia everything he knew about the sea, which is one of the reasons why she loves it so much today. Her father didn’t know much magic, but he did know a few water spells, and he taught Julia them when she was old enough. She enjoyed practicing magic, and went further with it than her father did, eventually becoming a skilled and fearsome user of water magic. She thought about joining a guild, but there were none that caught her attention in Hargeon. When she was seventeen, her father died while sailing during a storm, and Julia became very depressed as a result.

Most of Julia’s life has been spent sailing the seas, helping the citizens of Hargeon with her magic, and drinking at various bars. She has always been an energetic woman with lots of friends, but generally prefers to be on her own. Although being quite flirtatious, she doesn’t seem to be interested in romance or sex, as she’s never been in a relationship. All she needs is a little adventure and her dog to come with her!

About a year and a half ago, while doing a job involving dark magic, Julia fell down a rabbit hole and ended up discovering that Wyvern Fang, a popular guild in Hargeon, was using dark magic to commit unlawful acts, and manipulate its members. Julia couldn’t stand for the injustice, and gathered a good group of mages, and put a stop to Wyvern Fang. Some of its members perished, others fled, and some that had been manipulated by the guild looked to Julia for what to do next. Seeing how strong she was with the help of other magic users, and how good of a leader she was, she started Siren’s Song. It quickly became popular in Hargeon when the citizens heard that they had defeated Wyvern Fang.

A year and a half later, and Siren’s Song is thriving, while Hargeon is peaceful. Julia couldn’t be happier.

Personality: Artemis is notorious for having a bad personality. She prefers not to talk to anyone, but if anyone does approach her, she is rude and relentless. She is so cold, and seemingly unbreakable. She does not laugh or even smile, ever. If Artemis has to work with you, she will, but she will barely speak. She is very critical of other people, but does not talk about herself. Anyone trying to pry will receive a ruthless insult. Artemis always has to be in control. She is very forceful and domineering, and isn’t afraid of anything. It is very hard to get her off of your back if you’ve wronged her. As a result, no one likes her.

The harsh life that she lived before joining Siren’s Song is the cause of Artemis’ horrible personality. Thankfully, even horrible people tend to have good traits. Artemis is no exception. She is extremely intelligent, able to execute any plan perfectly. Any mistakes that she makes, she can fix them easily. Manipulation and deception rarely work on her as she has strong willpower. She is also quite loyal; Siren’s Song is her guild now, and she would rather die than betray them. But, unfortunately, that’s where Artemis’ good traits end. Backstory: Artemis Baird was born on December 30th, X772, in a small house near Hargeon. She killed her mother in childbirth, and her father, Gerald, immediately hated her for it. Artemis also had an older brother, named Ezekiel, who loved her dearly, from the moment she came into the world. Artemis’ childhood was hard, her father made sure of it. He was a hunter who practiced very dark and very evil magic, but both Ezekiel and Artemis thought nothing of it; they didn’t know anything else. Derald had high expectations of his children. He started training them to use magic at a very young age, and would deny them meals and sleep if they did not perform well. He also made sure that they didn’t leave the area that they lived in, so the siblings never interacted with anyone but each other. This led to social ineptness that, to this day, has not gone away. The only times when Ezekiel and Artemis had any freedom were when their father left them. Sometimes he left for days, sometimes he left for weeks. One time he was gone for a whole month. They didn’t know what their father was doing, they only knew that he always came back looking prouder, and more powerful than he had before. Eventually, Gerald started to take Ezekiel with him, and Artemis was all alone.

It was a long time before Artemis found out about what Gerald was doing. She was twelve when he took her into Hargeon, and that was when she saw it. Wyvern Fang. She had never seen so many people, and they all looked to her father as if he was their leader. Artemis didn’t understand why her father and brother kept it all a secret from her, but she couldn’t raise her voice against either of them. In the times that he had been away from the house, Ezekiel had changed. He was more powerful, and dark like their father. He was not the boy who took care of his sister anymore.

Artemis spent many years in Wyvern Fang, doing jobs and becoming stronger. She was never good at making friends, but the guild still became her home. She was… happy? She has never really understood the feeling, but she felt it, regardless.

All was well, until a year and a half ago…

Artemis wasn’t an idiot. She saw the dark magic that the members of Wyvern Fang were learning, and recognized that they were using their powers to go against the law, but she didn’t say or do anything. She thought it better to just ignore it all. Wyvern Fang was her home. But, when her father gathered several innocent citizens together, and slaughtered them for their blood, Artemis couldn’t take it anymore. She tried to go against him, but he used his mind control magic against her. See, her father needed the blood to control people. Many of the other members of Wyvern Fang were using the magic, as well, including Ezekiel. Artemis was powerless. Julia Seaver, a powerful and strong willed woman, found a few of Wyvern Fang’s members kidnapping innocent citizens, and figured out what they were doing. She brought a strong group of mages together, and attacked Wyvern Fang’s guild hall. Controlled by her father, Artemis fought Julia and her allies. Wyvern Fang lost. Her father was killed and so were many others. Some fled, including her brother. Artemis, along with few others who had been controlled, were released from the dark magic. Julia saw that they had been controlled, and she was kind to them. When she created Siren’s Song, they joined her.

Today, Artemis has been in Siren’s Song for a year. She might not fit in, but she is there to stay.

Extra Details: Artemis is 5’9”. She lives in Reiner's house, for now... She always carries an old, tattered notebook, and a pencil with her. Although she would never admit it, because feelings are for the losers, she is a lesbian.

Personality: Reiner is a rather gentle soul who has a tendency to help others without really asking for much in return. He's usually very friendly and accommodating with most people as long as they're kind in return. Respect begets respect is something that he's lived by and he's survived with it. A traveler at heart, he's always seeking the next exciting thing to do. Even while he's stuck in his house, he's started to help out in town so that he can experience new things.

He acts very fatherly to those that are younger than him and has a very positive reputation in Hargeon as well as various towns in Fiore. Backstory: Reiner would rarely tell anyone of his past before adventuring. He does not seem to fondly look back at his family life. However, when you dig enough, you would find that the Howell family is a prestigious family from the Pergrande Kingdom. He grew up being molded into a perfect Howell as they would to all their offsprings. But Reiner did not want to settle down and simply continue the family business - he wanted more excitement in his life. He would often sneak out to train with soldiers and generally going against his family's beliefs.

When this was discovered, his parents were furious and gave him a choice - to either be the heir or to be thrown out to the streets. He had chosen the latter. Bidding farewell to his younger brother and sister, he had left the mansion at the age of sixteen. Stripped of his connection to the prestigious family, Reiner had gone under the radar. Occasionally, his brother and sister would receive mails through a messenger bird without the knowledge of their parents.

Reiner loved travelling and had quickly adapted to his surroundings. He learned what he could and proceeded forward without hesitation. Along the way, he had discovered his latent ability to tap into Take Over magic and, after enough research, had become able to use it. Acting as a good natured mercenary, he continued his travels and was mostly funded by his own power and kindhearted people. He strove forward but when he was twenty-five, he received a letter from his younger brother, alerting him that their father had died and that he was being called back.

Returning to the family at the request of his brother, he found that his brother had taken over as the patriarch. He was given back his family name and was recognized once more. However, there was a favor he needed. There was a large scale conflict in Pergrande and they needed to give support to the royal family and Reiner was their best shot. He agreed to this and went with a small group to aid with the efforts of the royal family. Needless to say, as one of the mages, he dominated most battlefields he found himself in. After winning the conflict, Reiner was knighted but he had left once more to continue his travels.

Years passed and he had passed by a small town and found a homeless, beggar girl. There was little hesitation in him when he took her under his wing and made her part of his family. He taught her more skills as well as Take Over Magic when he saw that she, too, had potential. The two became a great duo and she was a fast learner. Though, at one job, Reiner had massively underestimated the mission and Vivianne's instability. Vivianne had instinctively registered and used it immediately as her body's last attempt at protecting itself. Even in an injured state, Vivianne had nearly overpowered Reiner but he had somehow come out on top. But he had been severely injured. He dragged her out before collapsing.

They had still gone on their adventures but Reiner found himself in pain whenever he used his Take Over magic so Vivianne was the only one who went on missions. While she's on missions, he studied Beast Tamer magic. When they had come to Hargeon, he had caught wind of one Julia Seaver looking for able bodied mages to help her take down a dark guild. He convinced Vivianne to participate and he had even given support when they needed extra hands, relishing in the fighting. When everything was said and done, Vivianne had expressed the want to join Julia's new guild and he agreed. Settling in Hargeon, he simply began to help around. He took the homeless guild members into the Howell household.

Beast Tamer Magic: A common type of magic that is often learned by those who have an affinity with nature and animals. They allow the user to be able to speak and even control animals once bonded with such animals. It is said that advanced usage of this magic would be able to tap into creating animals using mana for a limited amount of time - but there is a lack of information regarding this.
  • Animal Speech - Users have the ability to be able to communicate with animals, understanding them as if they speak the human common tongue. This applies to any animal they may encounter.
  • Animal Bonding - Users may be able to create bonds with animals of their choosing. Bonding, however, takes time and effort. It is easier to bond with an animal one has raised since young. Bonded animals are typically very loyal to their master. One can have as many as their magical reservoir can allow - that is, if one can bond effectively to an animal. Bonded animals possess a unique marker of their master. Reiner's are three dots on the skin of his bonded animals. They often live longer than normal - usually reaching up to their master's death.
  • Bond: Shared Senses - Once bonded, a mage can tap into the five senses of the animal they are bonded to.
  • Bond: Order - Once bonded, a mage can order an animal to do an action. From attacking to simply scampering to spy on someone.
  • Bond: Speak - Once bonded, they can talk through the animal in human speech for others to hear.

Skills: Reiner is a skilled cartographer and is multilingual. He is also a good conversationalist which makes it easy for him to gather information. He also has advanced survivalist knowledge as well as household chores down. He is also good at decryption and encryption of information.

Strengths: Reiner is great at information gathering due to his set skills and magic. He has a lot of connections outside of Hargeon that can be called upon for information and sometimes even help.

Weaknesses: Reiner cannot access his Take Over magic without undergoing pain soon after doing it as old wounds make themselves known. When bonded animals are injured, especially magically, the user experiences the same pain - Reiner is the same. Even without using his Take Over magic, he doesn't have the same endurance as he did before his injury.

  • Ash Slash - The user shoots a crescent shaped blast of ash with cutting power.
  • Ash Geyser - The user places their hands on the ground creating geysers of ash. The ash can erupt with enough force to toss them into the air. The ashes can also can be heated
  • Ash Embrace - A ring of ash swirl around the target and quickly incases them in ash. This spell is mostly used for immobilization, but heat can be add for damage
    • Ember Refusal - The ash ring tightens around the target and heats up.
    • Ash's Forsaking - The user clinches their fist creating blades in the ring. The blades sizes can change depending on the intent of the user
  • Ember Implosion - All of the residual ash collapses in on a target area, reheating ever inch, creating an extremely hot implosion.
  • Ash Typhoon - The user swipes their hand in a wide arc creating a typhoon of ash and ember. The ash particle are also sharped to cut and to burn.
  • Ash Claws - The user creates claws on their fingers for close combat. The claws can also be heated for increased damage.

Fighting Style: Kaphiri prefers to fight in close to mid range using a capoeira-esque style.

Skills: Kaphiri used to be a pop-star of sorts so he is skilled in singing & dancing and because of his constant sneaking out his agility and stealth are fairly decent. He has learned to sew and make remarkable coffee.

Strengths: Kaphiri's unorthodox fighting style makes him harder to hit. He can be very sneaky if he needs to be.

Weaknesses: Kaphiri can't take as many hits as others, he has intense claustrophobia, and he is absolutely terrified of his family. Air and wind magic can blow his ash away and ash absorbs water and hardens.

Kaphiri is a well-known celebrity from a young age. He broke out on the scene at 10 and his voice enraptured the land of Fiore. Kaphiri's shows were talked about by everyone and he was always invited to preform for many high-ranking guilds , and even the royal family a few times. The young man smile never reached his eyes as a few people close to him notices. He would constantly sneak out at night and visit the village near his home whenever he had the chance. Kaphiri met a young girl and would visit her whenever an opportunity presented itself. They became best friends until she was killed in an accident and that day was the last day he ever performed. Kaphiri disappeared from the spotlight and faded into obscurity only resurfacing as a guild member of Siren's Song.
