░ Our Two Bedroom Story (a.k.a The Country and The City Mice)
- inspired by the Voltage Inc. otome game.
(Celeb-Wannabe!Boy/Girl x Hikikomori!Girl/Boy)
Genre: Comedy, drama, romance.
My Preferred Role: ... either?
One of them was an aspiring celebrity - idols have to start somewhere by dreaming! The other was a piss broke tenant who is struggling just to meet the day's end, much less paying the landlord on time! When the ultimatum was finally laid down, Broke Guy/Girl finally summoned all their courage and posted an advertisement on the local papers in search of a roomie. It would have been a true "two bedroom", except the second chamber is really just the store room tidied up.
Dreamer Girl/Boy was quick to call dibs and paid 6 months' of rent in advance, since they couldn't afford a better place in the metropolitan city... only to dicover that his/her new place is a renovated store room. What a hoax! But never mind, most celebrities had it hard when they first started out, right?
What neither realised was that things could get pretty noisy in the house when one of them works at home, and the other is an unemployed celeb-wannabe!
(Catfished!Guy/Girl x Catfishing!Guy/Girl)
Genre: Drama, mystery, romance.
My Preferred Role: Catfishing Guy/Girl
We all know how it goes: Person A meets Person B through the internet, but have never seen each other in person. They talk, and talk, and then fall madly in love with the other person, and arrange to meet, but it never works out, because the person behind the screen had been fabricating about themselves and the truth always left Person A heartbroken and disappointed.
What happens when this all-too-common tale befalls on yet another guy/girl? Plot twist included; message me to discuss more!
(Human!Boy x Shadow!Girl or Shadow!Girl x Shadowhunter!Boy)
Genre: Horror, romance.
My Preferred Role: Shadow Girl
When Wendy met Peter, it was perchance that his shadow was hidden inside her drawer. Now, we're not saying that Neverland exists. But the phenomenon that a person's shadows are a separate sentience is altogether a different story.
When a teen boy moved in with his family to a new and quaint little home, he soon learns that the previous owner had forgotten her shadow after a sudden evacuation, and now manifests itself into his life, haunting him. While it appears to be harmless, it has found sanctuary in assimilating itself to his own shadow to roam the environment with him.
It was fine and all, until both of them got attached soon before another young man who proclaims himself as a Shadowhunter - people who possess purifying affinities to destroy Shadows before they become malicious - crashes the party.
░ Appeasing The Devil (or a.k.a The Enchanted Forest)
(Beauty/Sacrifice x "Beast"/Domain Guardian)
Genre: Fantasy, romance.
My Preferred Role: The Beast.
Every twenty years, the village of Glendis must send a young and untainted woman as tribute to a fearsome beast that prowls in the local domains. Although greatly feared, no one has ever truly seen him. Many relayed different accounts of his appearance: a gargantuan spider king, a shapeshifter who favoured being in his dragon form, a lecherous wizard as old as rock...
It was customary that the village head would sacrifice for the sake of the rest of the populace, and only when the village head has no daughters of his own does another family have to bring forth a child of their own, all to sate the hunger of the beast. When a foreign family with a mysterious background decided to settle in town, the locals were quick to elect him as the new head villager, and the unwitting man humbly accepted his role, oblivious to the impending obligation...
His daughter's fate was since sealed, as the family soon found out that there was a curse that prevented people from leaving the town. Those that have tried were often found dead overnight in the most gruesome ways. To step foot into the town was a one-way ticket to an accursed settlement.
Now that the census is approaching, the next sacrifice must face the notorious monster, not knowing what he would do to her when the end draws nigh.
(Runaway!Prince x Scorned!Noble Girl)
Genre: Comedy, drama, romance.
My Preferred Role: The noblegirl.
When a young prince found out that he's betrothed to an infamously bratty noblegirl cousin, he did what every boy his age in the same situation would do: runaway!
In disguise, he enjoys the life of a carefree drifter for years. Eventually, he grew into an esteemed adventurer who acts as an errant knight, helping those he crosses paths with. One day, he receives a request to escort a young lady cross-country to the other side of the kingdom where her father lived. Little did he know that she was the girl he was supposed to marry.
Humiliated for having the groom leg the wedding and anguished that her mother fell ill after the shameful event spread amongst the people, the noblegirl plays coy and sets her vengeful plans into action. And while she tells herself she wouldn't forgive him even over her dead body, she finds it hard to maintain her spite around him...
Amidst their bickering, something dark conspires in the castle.
