A tall humanoid species that resemble that of the ‘Kitsune’ from ancient Japanese culture, they bear bodies, faces, and limbs like humans but also exhibit vulpine features. Including large fluffy tails, ears, canine teeth, clawed digits, and a nose. Their eyes are large and usually amber or jade in color. The female population is much higher than the male population due to higher female birth rate. The species originate from a small island off the cost of the continent, and are used to more tropical climates. The average life span for a Aylsian is 260 years.

Shizuko appears as a tall woman with broad shoulders and a muscular build with slightly tanned skin, she has a sharp face and heavy lidded amber eyes. She occasionally wears a form of makeup or face paint that she mixes herself with clay pigments. Her ears and tail mimick that of a red fox’s, and her nails are sharpened to points in case she was to be disarmed in battle. Shizuko’s hair is brunette and long and thick, with a few curls here and there. Before battles, she chops it most of it off. She often wears black leggings with armor padded on the inside that ends usually at the heels of her feet, as well as a short, robe/like shirt with short sleeves. It is fastened with a red sash, and the base of it is a orange-cream color with a couple scarlet symbols embroidered in the fabric. Beneath she wears a long sleeve black tunic that is padded with light armor around the arms, near the chest, abdomen, and back is lined with a type of metal armor. She rarely wears shoes for easier movements. Shizuko is always seen wearing a necklace carrying the symbol of the royal family on it.

She can easily detect any nearby threats through her keen sense of smell, and is also skilled in hand to hand combat as well as close combat with a spear. Shizuko has a guard dog mentality and is very protective of others. But her senses can easily be tricked and over powered, and once disarmed in combat, she’s quite vulnerable.

Though she is mainly seen as quite the brute, she is known to have a soft spot for young children and often plays games with civilian children when she is off duty. Shizuko is loyal to those she develops an emotional bond with and holds almost no regard for her own life when it comes to their protection, and is seen somewhat as motherly. She is a loyalist to the royal family and will aid in any of their needs. Shizuko has a calm and kind demeanor, even in stressful situations. She has a large amount of confidence in her battle plans and strategies.


Background


Shizuko originates from Hanta Village, a small village of her kind that is on an island off the coast of the main continent. It is know to be a tropical climate with plenty of moisture. Due to her species being hunted by the Vicua Clan for their tails, she was trained from a young age how to defend for herself. As attacks became more common in the village, she decided to leave once she became of age. Which was around 16 years old. Shizuko traveled to the mainland and began her journey to Delves, seeking protection and to no longer have to fear the Vicua Clan. After a five months of travel, she arrived at Rioan. Without having any other skills, she could not find many jobs, and instead applied to the royal guard and began her training there. Shizuko officially became a soldier three years later, and slowly began to rise up in the ranks of the army. At age 23, she married her husband. Two years later he was unfortunately assasinated in their home, which was originally meant Shizuko’s life to be ended but she was out on guard duty. She became head of the royal guard at age 34, with 18 years of experience.

Background
Lilith was born a quintuplet, being the only daughter to her parents, in the country of Kipaia. She is a direct descendent of Omora, the man her species was named after and the champion of their people. Omoran society favored power, cunning, intellect, strength, and class above all else regardless of gender. That being said, even in their own eyes, women were seen as the inferior with the exception of those born of royal blood who naturally had superior genes to those who weren't. Male dominated, and inherently violent, Omoran society had high standards in regards to the conservative lifestyle that was indoctrinated in all it's people for the sake of keeping a level of control over the natural aggression and carnal instinct that drove all Omorans. Their natural fear of large pools of water having stemmed from generations of survival from horrible and gruesome lake and river monsters took control of Lilith at a young age when a visit to a pond during a trip to the East with her family went 'south'. Lilith learned quickly a valuable lesson: There's always something bigger than you.


Despite being born royalty, Omorans had always been a more technologically regressive society but had a knack for crafting works of mastery and art with both the technologically advanced and tools of more primitive nature, so Lilith was no exception. Only warriors of the Omora and the highest of royalty used higher tiered technology, but only ever for the sake of combat against the other violent species that inhabited their homeland along with them, including the Vicua Clan. Lilith learned, while living the life of an aristocrat, the importance of grunt work and those who lead charges on the front lines at a young age when her people were attacked on a massive scale by the Vicua Clan. Being outnumbered and outgunned those of the Omora who could fight to protect the women and children, did, including her brothers. With their numbers culled drastically the Omora grew to becoming nomadic tribals, having scattered after the devastating attack. Traditions and customs, all having been kept secret from outsiders, remained strong within the tribes.

Lilith grew the life of an aristocrat despite all the hardships she faced during her first fifty years of life, so she inherently had it a little easier than most of her kind. Unsatisfied with the xenophobic tendencies of her kind she used her authority and influence to expand the thinking of those within her own tribe and subsequently those of the other tribes. Over the many decades it was taking, the battles against the Vicua Clan became increasingly more and more devastating for the Omoran people. Lack of proper technology and support made the tribes desperate enough for Lilith to propose a reunification of the tribes and an ambassadorial visit to the northern human kingdom that resided in Delves. In hopes of bringing the Omora name, culture, and people out of the darkness, Lilith spearheaded her political campaign on her own while her brothers remained south to keep the fight going against the Vicua.

Personality: Level-headed, detail-oriented, and exacting.

Backstory:

Long ago, there was a woman from the mountains who sought an audience with the king of Delves. She was a hunter, who often traveled far from home, and in her travels she had come upon what her people called a burning field—one of the areas where radiation was still strong enough to kill. She wished to warn the king so that word could be spread throughout the region.

The king at the time was new to his throne, and young, and famously handsome. Cal saw him and thought, oh damn.

A hasty engagement followed, some six months ahead of the birth of their first son. Despite her abrupt introduction to Rioan, Cal has enjoyed the favor of the people for the past twenty-five years, thanks to her even hand with trade policies and her advocacy for the kingdom’s outer regions.

The Drakonids are a human-like species with many reptilian features, such as scales, spikes on their backs, prehensile tails, cat-like pupils, claw-like nails, and sharp teeth. Hailing from the snowy Yianyl region, Drakonids have light-colored scales, including blue, purple, green, etc. for camouflage. They have slightly protruding snouts, long, expressive ears, and light-colored hair. Drakonids also have an enhanced fear-sense, as they are a prey-species were they live, along with sharp hearing, eyesight, smell, and are able to run much faster than the average human. Being a prey-species, their society developed a strong value for physical strength, as it is what helps the most against their predators. They even have a history of shunning Drakonids that are physically weak due to disability, though there is a movement pushing for this to end. They welcome the use of technology, especially for protection and communication. They typically live in furnished caves or burrows underground to hide from predators and to keep out of the elements, with the royal family living in what is basically a huge underground castle. The Drakonid army does not only fight in wars, but they are also trained to fight their predators.

A typical Drakonid, she has sky-blue scales and white, shoulder-length hair, along with small white back spikes that go all the way down to the tip her tail. Said spikes become larger at the the tip of her tail, and she has long, sharp white fingernails. She has yellow eyes and typically wears a simple white shirt-shawl hybrid, as she only likes wearing light clothing due to not being acclimated to the more temperate climate she now resides in. Walks with a limp on her right leg due to a combat injury.

Background
As a child, Iris lived a rather bland life. Her parents were kind, she had good friends, and everything was fine for her. Iris became a soldier in the Drakonid army at 20, and at 22 was injured in combat. This injury forced her to retire, as her right leg was permanently damaged. It never stopped hurting, so she was unable to exercise and lost copious amounts of muscle mass. For a long while, the pain forced her to be completely bed-bound. She was eventually able to walk, but with a severe limp. Because of this, as it is in Drakonid society, she was shunned for her weakness. She then decided that there was little left for her with the Drakonids and left, becoming a traveler. She now travels around Delves, albeit slowly due to her injured leg.​

Iella is a sweet and strong woman with set goals and responsibilities. She knows when to be herself and when to put up her walls and be strong. When her walls are down she is kind and compassionate. She loves talking with people and reading a good story.
Background:
The Eximus believe in a single goddess. Anir, Goddess of the Animalia. A girl is born every couple hundred years with blue markings on her skin and milky white eyes (they are always blind). This girl is the vessel for Anir and she is taken to and raised in the Temple by the current vessel. When the current vessel dies Anir's powers are passed on to the child and they, in turn, watch over the people and the land.
Iella was born to a poor family, but the moment her eyes and markings were seen she was brought to the Temple. Her parents were sad to give up their baby girl, but she would have a better life. So Iella grew up in the Temple, cared for by many servants and Anella, the vessel at the time. She was taught how to act and how to control her powers. Anella was like a mother to her, a role model to look up to.
Just a few years before she hit maturity Anella passed away. Her body was buried in the ice on a mountain behind the Temple where the previous Vessels were buried. She finally received Anir's powers (Animalia Shapeshifiting and Animal Empathy). She carried the responsibilities of the new Vessel with confidence. These responsibilities included being the ambassador for and representing her country, Athain.

I wanted a picture for the Throne Room but I couldn't find what I was looking for, so I'll describe it.
The throne room is a tall elegantly carved room with pillars. But instead of a proper throne it's pillows. Several large pillows with animal fur blankets are clustered together where she sits. Long silks are draped overhead in light blues and white.

The black mist is a shifting entity that can change its form to meet its needs. It can take the form of a humanoid, or a cloud. It can form weapons, or change its body to BE the weapon, its body is durable, able to take blows of a deadly variety and reform. Its form is not restrained by normal physical limitations, able to out rank most races in strength, stamina, and speed

Strengths and Weaknesses
The black mist strengths lie in its abilities, and the lack of knowledge people hold of it. However, its weaknesses are just as great. Light weakens the mist, forcing it to be most active in the night. Certain charms and talismans have proven effective, though most are seen as lies, they carry more weight than most realize. And finally, unknown to most, the mist has a violent reaction to Bronze, able to restrian and even possibly kill it, given a mortal wound is dealt by that cursed metal.

-Can only summon about 5 beings per day, and depending on the strength and size of the being, it can be less.
-If not properly rested, conjuration the next day will be limited or impossible.
-Also, depending on the strength and size of the being, the conjuration can last from 10 minutes to till they die.
(For example, a large powerful troll might last 10-20 minutes, possibly less. A small wolf pack might range 1-5 hours. (Again, depends on strength!)
A mouse or a small elf might last until death.)
-Conjurations can only stay 10-20 feet away from their caster. Going beyond that makes conjurations incredibly weak and prone to simply dying out.

Fights less efficiently in cold climates and weather. Her strengths can immediately jump down if presented with any type of cold/ice magic, however it does not leave her completely futile-just weaker. She depends more upon her conjuration during cold climate fighting, but even her magic is weaker then too.

Personality
Sarcasm marks her life, though she knows when to be serious and mature. However, she depends on her goofy personality to tough through stressful situations, and commonly makes fun of the wrong doings of life in an attempt to face them better. She also tends to try and look at things in both a logical and hopeful viewpoint, as seeing situations from two lights frequently helps her create smarter decisions.

Personality
Marco is a drunkard mercenary and very much acts like one. He's not very responsible, caring, considerate, eloquent, or anything that might put him above the very lower class. He takes his work seriously though and never slouches off whenever coin is involved. Ironically he shows a relative level of coldness towards women who might try to become too friendly with him even when he's too drunk to walk. Deeply loyal but broken, he rarely lets the man he used to be walk around anymore.

Background
Marco was born to a single mother and part of the Vicua clan. Before his first birthday his mother fled north to Delves to escape the man who was his father, and died when he was seventeen. Growing up he had a natural affinity for fighting and doing just about anything for coin, with some obvious exceptions. After making enough coin doing odd jobs he bought himself equipment and set out as a sword for hire. Along the way and not too long into his merc work he married a young elven woman and settled down for the few years they were together. A robbery gone bad had resulted in the death of both the intruder and his wife. Throwing himself into a bottle and back into the world for more work, Marco decided from then on to avoid getting close to others and to never take jobs that would require him to steal.
