Futuristic Shiny and New

LeSmexyFish

The smexiest fish of them all.
Hi everyone, this is my first roleplay idea here, and I hope you enjoy!

Far into the future, the year 2679, a great inventor named Timothy Stroman figured out how to upload a human's consciousness into a robotic body. This sparked a great change among the people. They were utterly astonished to learn that you could become a machine. What would it be like to live forever? Would you get bored of it? Could you modify your own body so that you could fly? Could you live underwater? The possibilities were endless. Only few people knew of Stroman's discovery at first, and it was entirely free for a short period of time. Then the word spread as people went out in public, to their jobs and schools, as a robot. All of humanity began to flock to this invention. The price for what was considered to be immortality soared to great heights, and the people who couldn't afford such an investment were left in the dust. The human population was less than 1/10 of what it used to be, but it still grew and began to thrive, as the robotic humans did not need food or water. Stroman advanced his technology to include different shapes and appearances of the robotic bodies. Peace and happiness lasted throughout the world until about 2830.

Then, a question was suddenly asked.

How could a robot have children?

Many of them wanted to raise kids of their own, but being made of metal and wires and sensors, this was impossible.

Or was it?

Robots began kidnapping human children. A new society formed and they abducted Stroman, forcing him to create adolescent husks and upload the minds of these children to them. They were distributed to families who wanted them. As they aged, they switched bodies to match the capacity of their minds. But, as all people would be, the humans were outraged that their own generations were being stolen from them. They claimed that it was the price that the robots paid above all monetary value. "Immortal beings have no need to reproduce, as they will survive through anything." they said. The robots ignored the humans' arguments and continued to overpower them, as they were stronger and faster than their original bodies. This ignited a war.

The war lasted for decades. Humans picked off the weaker robots one by one and took back their robotic children. The population grew and grew and grew until a rebellion was in place. Hordes of people began to slowly take over and destroy the inner workings of the robots, all while working without detection. When the robots figured out what was going on, the human population was too large for them to fight against. Stroman was taken back into the custody of humanity. The robots surrendered. The humans enslaved them and looked down on them. The government of the world decided that the robots would be given clothes like any other human being, but the clothes signified that they were nothing more than dogs to the world. Stroman was executed. What had once been a beautiful revolution quickly became something horrible. Nobody would ever know an eternity of happiness again.

The year is now 3124. We are the last few robots. Though we may have not kidnapped any children or done anything wrong, we are forced to do nothing but work. Some of us are tired of it, bored by the daily routine. Others are afraid of the discrimination. Humans have turned the tables and begun to hurt us without reason. They look down on us.

Well, what are we waiting for? Something must be done.

Well, if you're interested, just let me know. I'm thinking that there should only be a few slots, since we all have to contact each other. Maybe we're all slaves on a plantation? Because humanity pretty much had to rebuild itself.

What do you think?
