Name : Lucifer "Lucky" McGee,
the eldest McGee
Age: 23 | January 3rd
Gender : Male
Sexual Orientation : Homosexual

Eye Color : blue hazel
Hair Color : dark brown
Height : 5"9
Build : buffed, mesomorphic
Ethnicity : Caucasian
Distinguishing Features : a slight green flicker to his eyes when he becomes angry or anxious

Personality: Lucky may come off a little gruff in the beginning, but what can you expect from someone who's name is literally Lucifer? To his siblings and his best friend he is a saint, literally dropping everything he does to make sure they have. But, to the rest of the world he is full on stone hearted. Nothing is a surprise to him anymore. With a dad like (insert dad's name), it is the only option. It'd be paradise to have only a second of alone time to himself, but he knows what his life is like and how to handle it.

History, as told by Lucifer:
"Life wasnt always like this," Lucky said, taking a long drag before putting his cigarette out on one of the many dirty plates before him. He slung a towel over his bare shoulder and proceeded washing. "Sure, they gave me the worst possible name ever, but they were in love. Mom was good to us. She kept food in our stomachs and kept Dad from being too drunk at any given time. She was the one who taught me to fight. But, ya know, she just couldn't beat the big C. Never smoked a day in her life, ate right...but it still came and took her away." Lucky slid a cup into the drying rack, then rubbed his eye with the inside of his arm. To anyone else, it'd only look like he was wiping sweat.

"Me and Dad had our first knock down, drag out fight soon after. You guys wouldn't remember, but that was the first time I put his ass on the curb. Yeah, he gets back in the house, but that's up to me. He has to go through me to get anything here, ya'll got that?! He fucked up with me. I was 11, but I was taught well by someone who had a good head on their shoulders. And, sure, we are dysfunctional. We're fucked up. But I will be damned if I don't make sure you little fucks don't end up like me." He threw the towel in the sink and turned toward his siblings with a half crooked smile on his face.

"Now then, Where the hell were you last week?" he asked before bursting out into laughter.

Relationships:
Rockerfeller: "No."

Charlie: Still trying to shield him, even though the boy is old enough to make his own decisions. Can't help being his older brother, even if it kills him that Charlie now practically hates him.

Kristina: "She looks like mom."

Malik: "He needs to stop hanging around my brother. It's bordering on 'needs police on speed dial' weird."

Bo: "You know, if that fucker wasn't so cute I'd have kicked his ass a long time ago."

Robin: "My brother from another mother? Yeah, he's so gay and he doesn't even like boys....I think."

Full Name: Lileath (she shares the same surname as the rest of them).
Age and Birthday: 18, 4 September
Role: Works for the family, but is desperately seeking her own life.

Her positive traits include being witty, intelligent and fun to be around, if you catch her in the right mood with the right conversation. She is very opinionated and truthful, even if she knows the truth will hurt whoever she says it to.

She can often be quite cruel and inconsiderate of others feelings, and she hates having to admit weakness. Lileath is also extremely possessive, and hates people intruding in her private space, especially if she is studying. Due to her intelligence and grades, she is often extremely critical of her family situation, deeming herself above it.

Over all, she is fun to be around if you can engage her in an interesting conversation, as she will talk for hours about things that interest her. An extremely loyal friend, however she doesn't really hesitate in doing the thing she believes to be right, and can thus act rash and selfishly at times.

History:

Thankfully, she got her father's act together enough so she ended up in a half decent school, even if this distanced her from her family, and she soon began to see them as an embarrassment.
Lileath was a very outspoken but intelligent pupil, quickly making her one of the most loathed students in the class by her peers but adored by any teacher who wanted their students to excel. She mostly adores literature but also history, and although she didn't really struggle in the more technically minded classes (except physics) she held little interest in them.

She never really had any boyfriends, not wanting to fall into the stereotype of their family.

Current secrets:

She has a separate bank account in which she secretly funnels small amounts of her money into.
Her partner (as her family don't know. Maybe one of the siblings could know and keeps threatening that they'll tell father, knowing he'll have a bad reaction).
The true extent of her home situation (from her partner).

Relationships:

Her remaining parent: She despises them, and feels a strong sense of resentment that they aren't good enough and are always relying on the older siblings to do everything. She knows he tries, but she gets frustrated by the constant failure.

Her siblings: She generally doesn't get on with them, as she sees them as holding back her life when she's worked really hard for it.

Lucifer: She just tries to keep out of her older brothers way, although she often gets into spats with him about how the money in the house is being spent. She feels she has a better point than the others, as unlike them a considerable chunk of that is produced by her.

Mackenzie: She has a serious disdain for her younger brother, as she thinks he should grow up and take some responsibility for his life rather than running around in make-up. However she mostly blames her mother for his current state, even if she tries to avoid him, knowing it'll just cause tension.

Kristina: She doesn't really like her sister either, as she looks down on her slightly for her behaviour. But she gets along with her moderately better than with Mackenzie.

Her (much older, probably in his early forties, mid thirties maybe. I'll play him unless another wishes to take the role) partner, whom she is completely infatuated with. She can't wait to move into his house but her parent keeps dragging her back, guilt tripping her with who else will support them, so she does it, even if she hates them all for it.

Political attitudes: Although this doesn't come out by anything more than a mild sense of distaste, she is slightly prejudiced against both ethnic and LGBT members. She leans more towards the right than the left, but she's not hard line right.

Full Name:
Malik Xavier Hughes

Age and Birthday:
18 / November 2nd

Sexuality:
Closeted Bisexual

Role:
Neighbor

Positive Traits:
Loyal, Observant, Intelligent

Negative Traits:
Confrontational,Bull-headed, Standoffish

Personality:
Malik was raised by both the streets and his mother. It shows in how he carries himself and acts around others. Malik is a quiet young man but is no way timid. He prefers actions over words. He usually speak when he has something important to say or has been spoken to, even then it's not guaranteed that'll he talk to the person talking to him. Malik carries himself in a almost casual way. But if someone looks close enough they'll notice that his body is not relaxed at all, like someone waiting for a surprise attack. It's a side effect on growing up in a violent neighborhood.

He is seen as intimidating by others. He towers of most people and his eyes are goal black, they seem to stare right through you. His face has a scowl on it, it's just his regular face in all actuality. Malik has a temper on him. His fuse isn't ridiculously short like some but there are a few things that set him off. If he feels like someone is patronizing or belittling him then he'll develop an attitude that'll turn into a mean mug or physical confrontation. It'll happen if he feels like he's being challenged or disrespected. Malik isn’t afraid of kicking someone’s ass. He’s done it many times before.

Malik is observant, something that he learned from the streets. He pays attention to detail. It has saved his life many times in the past. He still addresses his elders using ma'am or sir, it'll be followed by a string of curse words sometimes. His manners are also intact he to the surprise of others. When he decides to actually give a damn about school, he’s actually pretty smart. He excels in math and science. Malik likes to hold deep conversations. When he hung out with his they would talk about life in the ghetto and how poverty affected certain people.

Once someone was gained Malik's loyalty he's there for them until the end. He protective of those that he holds close and is willing to do almost anything for them. Because of his life it's difficult for him to open up. When he does one would be surprised at the individual that lays inside. He's not just another statistic. Malik, despite his criminal background, is still a person.

Malik is someone with little to no regard for rules. He likes to do as he pleases whenever he wants and doesn’t take kindly to people controlling him or attempting to. He has a lot of pent up anger from hiding a certain part of himself. He struggles to uphold the tough boy image while also keeping his true self on lock. Malik knows who people in his community treat the slightest sign of difference and he has no desire to be in their sights.

History:
Malik grew up in a crime infested neighborhood. Gang violence was a major problem along with robbery and shoot outs. He lived with his mother and grandmother, his father was a deadbeat who didn't want the responsibility that came with creating a child. His mother's working three jobs in order to provide for him and his grandmother worked one. It was hard for them. They were poor and barely could afford food on the table. It was easy for Malik to fall into the street life. As a child he believed that it was cool. He'd see young men with nice things and without a care in the world. Unbeknownst to him at the time in order to achieve this they would have had to dirty their hands.

The gang life had ensnared a large amount of young men, including Malik. They treated each other like family. Something that the young man loved. It wasn't long until he found out about the dangers of gang life. Malik figured out that in order to have nice things he would have to start selling drugs. The temptation became to great. With the money he would be able to take care of him family. Soon he began known as a kingpin, working his way up the latter until he became the boss himself. He was able to take care of his family and ease their struggles in no time.

In the beginning he tried to do the right thing and go to school. But on his side of town the school weren't great. Teachers came and went, the school was falling apart. He had a dream of becoming a scientist at one point. It was hard to go to school when the system didn't give a damn about its students. The school to prison pipeline was apparent. Malik began to believe that it was hopeless. So he spiraled down that road of violence and selling drugs. Malik truly believes that it’s too late for someone like him and that he’s doomed to stay stuck in the life that he’s in.

Relationships:
Booker Fyre - A pain in his ass and one of his close friend. Malik has deemed him as his second in command, in charge of looking over things and keeping him updated when he’s gone. The two of them have been neighbors since forever, they had no choice but to get to know one another eventually. Malik tells himself that he only keeps his annoying second in command around because of his pretty face.

Kamaria Hughes - His little girl, his princess, his pride and joy. When Kamaria came into this world it was love at first sight, he knew that he would do anything for her and give her the life he never had. With the help of his family Malik raised her. Along with his sister he keeps their relationship hidden, knowing it could be dangerous for her. Though he spends time with her whenever he can outside of town. Doesn’t matter who it is, make her cry and he’s fighting on sight. A literal teddy bear for his baby. Soft Daddy af. If she cries he cries. Tea parties ? Yes.

Her night had been a blur of dancing, drinking, and the sounds of drums being beaten in a furious pace. Babette could remember the beginning of night before as well as they end. Anything between those times were blank. A ceremony had took place the night before in hopes in dealing out justice and punishment. A housewife had come to sought, a rather cherished friend of her mothers, in hopes of taking revenge on her abusive spouse. Babette was more than happy to grant her wish, but with a small fee of course. That had been only three days ago, when she had commanded the woman to bring her anything of value that belonged to her husband. And last night they’d done the ritual.

The swamps had come alive in the night as they lit a fire and began. Babette had been accompanied by some members of her community. She remembered calling upon the Loa, Papa Legba, to ask for permission to content their wanted Loa and after they’d asked for Erzulie Dantor, drawing her Veve onto the ground and offering her a black big in hopes that she would listen. And they danced as the drums were beaten, singing her song. Babette had thrown the momento given to her by the housewife into the fire and an sense of rage washed over her and she was out. She had no idea of how long she had been unconscious, she had woken up to see the ritual coming to an end and the housewife thanking her.

Babette had returned home and refreshed herself with a long shower before going to bed. She was exhausted, being ridden by a Loa was never an easy task. So when morning arrived she was still sound asleep. She had slept in a little later than usual. Her mother and grandmother left her be, knowing why she was so tired. When she did awake up Babette was still tired but awake enough to get on with her day. She had driven to her mother salon, Duprè’s, greeting her usual customers as she went to grab her apron and take in some clients.

Babette thought about the upcoming ball while she installed some adorable braids into a client’s hair. The whole thing was a sham in her eyes, she didn’t see the point in attending when she didn’t like many of the people attending. Though she would admit that she loved to dress up so it wasn’t a complete waste of time. Her grandmother had made a dress for her but she hadn’t gotten a chance to see it yet. Babette had no fears as her grandma had perfected her craft many years ago.

Booker is a big mouth and a bigger personality. Whenever he's in the room, he wants all eyes to be on him and has some kind of a story to tell. His friends all know that most of his stories are bullshit, but the way he'd tell them, you'd think he were leading a march against authority and bringing down the entire system. Booker hates to be talked down by authority or by people around him. He's quick to result to using his fists to resolve conflicts, and sometimes he doesn't even need to be provoked to take some kind of simmering anger out on people. Usually, he sticks to a target few individuals, but anybody is equal in his eyes for a fight. Mostly Booker doesn't look angry since he's always sporting some dumb cocky smile. He loves to party around, drink, and smoke because that's just the sort of stuff he's been surrounded with. Nobody would know that Booker is insecure except for maybe the few that he picks on. Funny enough, those people tend to be the closest people he has in his life.

Unable to form very deep connections, he's a bit of a loner though he'll try to make an effort to be in the place where something is happening. Booker isn't super smart, though book smarts turned into street smarts when he dropped out of high school his senior year. School wasn't gonna give him that high he wanted, and he was failing all his classes, so he gave it up. And that's sort of how things fall in line with this guy. Bo is chasing something better. Chasing popularity. Chasing. Chasing. Chasing. When things get too loud, he has to get away with his music. He wonders what it would be like to feel like a sixteen year old kid, but forced to make money in some sketchy ways, Booker hasn't really been allowed that opportunity. Quite a few things haven't allowed him to be a kid. He carries that with him, but still keeps his head up with an abrasive, obnoxious, attitude about life. People don't typically like him. He knows that. But he'd rather shout and laugh than admit it to himself or change.

THIS PLACE IS TOO FAMILIAR | HISTORY
Booker is a middle child to his two siblings, Daniel and Naomi. Daniel is five years older than him while his sister is seven years younger - the product of bad judgment to not wear a condom by his parents. Compared to most families in his neighborhood, Booker supposes that he has it alright. Okay. Sort of. He's got both his parents if that counts for something. But his mom was diagnosed with cancer when he was seven so their big house became a smaller shitty two bedroom rental in the shittiest part of town. That's where he's been for a long time, now - nine years, in fact. While their money went to battling his mother's cancer, her health and depression from the years of treatment has left her unemployed. His father, hardworking as he is, struggles to put food on the table. Booker sometimes feels like his dad feels guilty that he never went to college so he could get a better job. Or better... so that he could even stand a chance to hold down a job. His father, Russel Frye, can be particularly short tempered after working all day and barely having the money to pay the bills either way. Because of that, he took to drinking and we all know how that story ends. Booker learned to deal with his dad's anger and loose fists a long time ago. But that's not so relevant anymore.

His brother was his closest friend while going through all of this. Daniel had his head on straight, it was hard not to be proud of the guy who went on to get a full ride to UCLA. But when Daniel left, Booker was left to be the big brother. To take the full force of his dad's ever increasing anger and impatience with his useless kid and his depressed wife. After a while, Booker's dad began to put in minimal effort and the breaks between jobs got longer. At the same time, Booker had started getting more and more into this shit with the kids on his block. Robbing gas stations and smoking at the skate park. Stealing his dad's alcohol to impress his older friends. When Booker was in fourth grade, he got held back from slipping grades. He began to lose the motivation to try since nothing he ever did seemed to match up to the standards his older brother had already set. And of course, it was also around this time that he started looking at guys and internally freaking out because not this too.

Eventually, the only thing Booker really learned to care about was his little sister and mother. If social workers took her away he'd be ruined. Booker sells drugs for an extra buck and any money he does get from the gang that he runs with from time to time goes into providing for himself and his remaining family. His dad was arrested when he was eighteen, leaving him to take care of Naomi the best he could. And that's where he's at, now, living in their shitty little apartment home where Book has more freedom than ever before, but also more responsibility. He finds release in music, playing his bass guitar for Naomi in their basement whenever he can. Escapism became something of a close friend to him as did becoming the block asshole and flunk out.

NO MATTER HOW FAR I GO | RELATIONSHIPS
Lucky - Bo hates this guy. Probably. He hates that he doesn't seem to give much of a shit about Charlie. But he also knows how shitty the guy's dad is so he doesn't know what to think. And when Book doesn't understand something, violence and confrontation is a pretty good way to deal with that. He looks better with a black eye and a bloody nose, anyways.

Malik - His best friend. Sort of? It's not really easy to keep up a friendship with somebody who's been in juvie for ages. But they practically grew up next to each other and Bo's been selling that bastard's drugs on the streets for years. Wasn't exactly his idea to be made Malik's second but he'd do anything for the guy. Except let Malik get rid of Chuck or bring Chuck into their gang shit. Yeah, uh... sorry, man, that's not happening. Don't like it? What're ya gonna do? Get rid of me?

Charlie - Well, he didn't expect to care about the kid, but that does seem to be what happened. Fuck.

Tim - They’re really different, and Bo knows he would have given this kid hell in high school. But now he’s not really in the business of shoving people against lockers. So he just messes with him when he’s around. Doesn’t know why Charlie keeps him around.

Lydia - She’s pretty as hell. Bo’s gotten in the habit of flirting with pretty girls and he’s pretty good at it. He knows she doesn’t like him that much but that doesn’t matter. And again... if it’ll piss Lucky off. That’s all, not trying to avoid any unpleasant truths or anything.

Kris - She’s kind of annoying, and he knows that she flirts with him. So he just humors it in good nature. He’s pretty sure that bothers Lucky so it’s really a win-win situation. Though.... nothing’ll happen, right? Right!?

Robin - Who? Oh. Him. He’s fuckin’ dead if he ever opens that mouth of his and he knows it.
--- family
mother Diane Frye - Bo gets along with her, but he doesn't really have a relationship with her.
father Jack Frye - Bo hates him, but he's on prison so it doesn't matter.
older bro Daniel Frye - Bo looks up to him, but sort of feels abandoned by the guy.
lil sis Naomi Frye - Loves loves loves Omi, and would do anything for her.
I ALWAYS FALL . . .

Booker brought the cigarette up to his lips, his hand on the side of the twerp's face. This twerp in question had been going around spreading rumors that he'd caused a fire in their chemistry class. I mean, he had! But that was none of his fuckin' business, you know? Who said that he was allowed to go running his mouth about what Booker Frye did or didn't do in chemistry. He took a drag of the cigarette and held it in his chest for a long time before blowing it out into the boy's face. Naturally, Booker found himself hating that he noticed the cheekbones and adam's apple bobbing in the nerd's throat. It was easier to ignore when the guy - his name was Adam, by the way - spoke.

"Smoking is gonna give you cancer. You can beat me up all you want, but look how strong you'll be-"

Booker slammed his fist hard on the wall that he was pushing the nerd into, roughly. "Don't fuckin' give me a lecture on cancer, dick cheese. Here, you sound so cocky. Open your mouth."

The nerd cowered and shook his head in protest because what the hell could Booker Frye want him to open his mouth for? Suddenly really annoyed with the lack of compliance, Bo's gaze intensified and he grabbed Adam's jaw, squeezing it hard, "I said open up." Adam finally opened his mouth and as soon as he did, Bo took the cigarette in his hand a popped it in. Adam just looked confused, but it wasn't about making sense. It was about making sure that people didn't talk shit about him behind his back. He didn't have to make sense for that. "Now suck in. Come on, talking shit on smoking. You ain't even tried it."

He looked increasingly scared. Booker pushed harder, getting more and more into Adam's space, not caring about invading personal space. There was nothing gay about him shoving a cigarette into another boy's mouth and telling him to suck it. But after too long of him watching this kid whimper, he reeled back and just punched him in the face. The cigarette flew from his mouth and he flashed the nerd the middle finger, "Don't ever let me catching you talkin' shit again."

When Booker stalked away, he was still angry, his brows furrowed and his hands shoved in his pockets as he ignored classmates asking if his was okay. Not everybody hated him. Just... the people that knew how shitty he could be to guys like Adam. Which, granted, was most of the school, but still. He made his way out to the field, already having to find somewhere to light another cigarette. His eyes shut tight. He counted under his breath. The anger still wasn't going away. Two. Three. Four drags in and his heart rate was only starting to go down. This couldn't be normal, right? He couldn't be normal.

But there wasn’t much he could actually do about that. Book could only think that he’d eventually get to let off some steam with some friends. They wouldn’t care if he blew shit up in chemistry. Hell, they might even laugh and pat him on the back, because he sure as hell felt like it was better to be this than a loser. His dad was a loser. His brother was kind of a loser? Sort of. Naw, Dan was great and he was super proud of that guy. But if he couldn’t be like his brother or that Adam kid, and he didn’t want to be like his dad, then where was the middle ground.

Weren’t you supposed to get anywhere in life if you could throw on a charming smile? He’d still never actually had a pretty girlfriend but he was sure he could get one if he asked. This school was full of them. Girls. And he was good looking. He could pretend to be smart. And he wasn’t a total asshole. Only to some people. Like Adam. Adam, with his dumb cute face and Adam’s apple. God, Bo rubbed some kind of expression out of his face. He hardly even knew what he was thinking anymore. Popping earphones into his ears, Bo managed to drown out the ringing in his ears as he watched the football players warm up for practice.

This place is too familiar
No matter how far I go, I always fall"

Full Name: Robin Northam
Age: 18
Birthday: July 15
Role: Best friend of one of the 'children'

Positive Traits: Fun loving, independent, resourceful.
Negative Traits: Indecisive, reckless, careless.

Personality: Robin likes to have fun because 'his home life sucks' and he wants to forget about it or avoid thinking about it. Since he is rather rebellious and reckless as well he doesn't mind getting into trouble.

Robin is horrible at making decisions or seriously thinking about them, he usually puts the decision making onto somebody else's shoulders or just uses a quick method like coin tossing, and other luck/game related options to make a decision.

He can get serious and while he does try to help people in his life his methods don't always work or might make things unintentionally worse. Despite his nature he does like to listen to peoples problems or venting and tries to make them feel better in his own way.

Robin is blunt and his mouth often gets him into trouble or even fights if he cant outrun the people he angered.

History: Robin was born in Brooklyn. His parents were a rather dysfunctional couple and divorced when Robin was four years old. His mother wanted to get as far away from her ex-husband as she could and so ended up in the same neighborhood as the family since she didn't have enough money to get any further. Because his mother often spend her days working at a night club or was passed out drunk on the sofa Robin spend most of his time with his best friend, staying at their house to avoid his mother.

When Robin was fourteen his mother had a nervous breakdown and walked into a neighbors house like it was hers only to set it on fire. Robin ended up in the foster system until his mother was released and he was returned to her. After Robin turned sixteen he somehow picked up a mild drinking habit that often gets him into trouble, mostly with his mother because it's her alcohol he ends up sneaking out of the house since he can't buy it himself.

Relationships: Tba
Other: He is 'in the closet'. Basically he knows he is into guys but doesn't tell anyone.

Robin rushed through the door to the run down house he and his mother were living in and closed it behind him. It seemed he was running around the neighborhood a lot lately. Either he was late for something or he had pissed someone off that wanted to kick his ass for it.

Robin sighed and made his way through the living room. The corners and every possible surface were covered with all sorts of crap, from clothes, empty food containers, magazines and empty bottles to full bottles that his mother had thought were hidden but were actually easy to find.

One look at the sofa revealed his mother passed out with a whiskey bottle yet again. It was a sight he had gotten used to years ago. He silently walked to the sofa, carefully pryed the bottle from his mother's hand and took a sip. "Mommy dearest what to do with you?" He asked and chuckled. As if he could change anything. It was time to go out and have some fun. Robin took another sip of whiskey before stashing it in his backpack and heading out of the apartment in order to find a distraction.

Full Name: Kristina McGee
Nickname: Kris; Krissie
Age and Birthday: 16 (July 11)
Role: Middle Child

Positive Traits:
+fashionable
+bubbly/cheerful
+flexible

Negative Traits:
-stubborn
-proud
-impatient

Personality: As a middle child, Kris has the opportunity that not all of her siblings do: to disappear. However, she is not good at it. She doesn't want to disappear; she wants to have all eyes on her; she thrives on the attention. She's not afraid to do whatever it takes to get said attention, whether it be good or bad. The older she gets, the less she likes getting in trouble and getting grounded (who does?) so she's learning ways to bring about that attention positively. Or trying to. She's got a bubbly, talkative personality-- sometimes too much of one.

When things don't go her way or she goes without the attention she so craves for too long, she starts to get cranky. She can throw a tantrum that a toddler would be proud of: foot stomping; screaming; crying; etc. She means well, but with such a large family, it's hard to have eyes on her at all times, which is one reason she likes having younger siblings that look up to her. She's not much of a caretaker, she can't cook, and she's a tad bit on the disorganized side. But she loves trying to help others-- in her own way, of course.

History: Kristina had a pretty uneventful childhood. She endured the usual stress of a large family, tried caring for her younger siblings. As she got older, it quickly became apparent that she was not babysitter material. No one ever made it to bed on time, and they were usually hungry because Kris can't cook unless it comes out of a box, and even then, it's iffy. She talks on the phone and texts all day; taking away her phone is the cruelest form of punishment there is.

She was fifteen when she got caught with a boy after hours, in her bra and a pair of shorts, in the park. She had been smoking a little bit as well when caught by her older sibling (can change). Basically, Kris was dragged from the park and told never to see that boy again. She never found that shirt either. She still saw the boy, too, for a while until he dumped her. Never one to stay down for long, Krissie moved on.

"You're not going."

Pausing in her attempts to pick an outfit, Stella dropped the shirt she was holding in front of her upper body, not bothering to turn around and face the speaker. "I'm going, and that's final."

Her stepfather sighed, and she couldn't hide the smirk that appeared on her lips. "Be home by midnight?" It was a question, not a statement, and it only made her grin grow wider.

"We'll see. Probably not, though." She responded easily, not moving until she heard him walk off, his feet barely making a sound on the carpeted floor. Glancing over her shoulder just to make sure, she dipped her shoulders in relief at his absence. Though she put on a good front, his happy go lucky attitude bothered her. And he and her mother were fools if they thought she didn't hear them fighting in hushed tones behind closed doors.

Lifting the shirt she'd been admiring a moment before, she suddenly found that she didn't like it. Tossing it onto a pile of discarded shirts on the bed, she turned back to her closet, digging until finding what she was looking for. The parentals would flip if they saw her wearing it. Did she care? No, not particularly. These were her last nights of summer before school started back up, and she was going to enjoy them.

Not much later, she stood in front of the mirror again, admiring the outfit. Satisfied, she started to head out of her room, pausing when she saw her mother in the doorway. Quirking a brow at her, she crossed her arms across her chest. The two were set to have a stare down until Stella broke the silence, her tone icy. "Coming to stop me, mom?"

"You should really put something else on." The woman didn't directly answer her question, her gaze flicking over her daughter's choice of attire.

"You bought me this shirt, remember?" Stella tilted her head, regarding the woman. What had she become so spineless? This wasn't the mother Lala remembered.

Tessa just shook her head, again not answering her daughter. She looked as though she wanted to say more, but she seemed to change her mind. Turning around, she sent one last glance towards her daughter before disappearing into her bedroom. Stella watched her go, waiting a beat before sauntering past the room, heading downstairs and outside. Her jeep was parked there, and she hopped in, not wasting any time in starting it and driving towards the beach.

Once she arrived, she parked haphazardly on the gravel and sand parking lot, hopping out and heading towards the sound of people. She spotted many she knew, many she didn't care to know, but she pressed on. It wasn't until she saw George that she even considered stopping. Alot of west siders now looked at Stella as a traitor, though she was far from it.

"Hey there." She spoke proudly, confidently, hiding the worry that he would shoot her down like so many had done.

Joy Montgomery

Full Name: "I'm Joy Montgomery, you can just call me Monti if you want..."
Age and Birthday: "I will be eighteen on the 7th of October this year"
Role: "I live next door to a boy named Malik and I work as a housekeeper with his grandmother"

Positive Traits: "Come on, let me help you with that" (Thoughtful), "I'm healthy, and I have a job and a home, what more could I ask for really?" (Positive) "One day, I'm gonna get outta here" (Ambitious)
Negative Traits: "I just can't even look at you!" (Unforgiving) *Mimicking you* (Childish) "I swear it was RIGHT HERE" (forgetful/messy)

Personality: ”I guess I’m clumsy, forgetful and all that, but I know this life of mine will change one day and I hope I can bring my friends with me”

Joy is a bit of a mess. She always has a million thoughts, two songs and a jingle running through her head. Sometimes she will miss something someone right in front of her is saying. This makes her seem dis respectful sometimes and she is aware the forgetfulness and lack of focus is an issue. It causes her a lot of grief in her everyday life. Joy hates being defined by this aspect of her persona so she tries very hard to work on it. Joy is a hardworking and ambitious person. It doesn’t matter how menial the job, she will put her all into it. Perhaps that is why she has always managed to keep a job despite the mistakes she makes as she is learning. She also tries her best to be helpful to others and lift them up as well. She thinks about what someone may need before they ask for it.

Joy could not be as ambitious as she is without being a positive thinker. Sometimes to the point of naievity she remains hopeful and positive about people and situations.

Despite this being true however she does have an issue forgiving those who have deeply wronged her. Her trust is fragile and unfortunately, she can be quite fickle in relationships due to her own issues with conflict resolution. She defaults to a childish mindset when she feels attacked, will often snub or mimick the other person to avoid addressing facts. Sometimes she can seem like a petty person, especially when angry.

9C9FDBE2-606F-4671-A8F1-7B0D4C6223EE.jpegHistory: Joy grew up in town, and had lived here her whole life. Her father and mother are together but they are not in love. Ever since she was born her mother has looked after her and her father has spent all his time at the pub. He was a violent and aggressive man who liked to hold power over others. He often made her and her mother wait on his every need at home. He was rarely physically abusive, mostly just all threats, though there have been instances when he was drunk and his mother dropped a plate or bought herself something extra at the supermarket where he'd snapped and given her a backhander. While he never hit joy growing up, he did have a way of trying to make her feel small. luckily her older brother was much stronger than her, and was able to convince her that she wasn't what he defined her as, and that there would always be people like him abusing power or privilege to make others feel small. So when she was a child, he didn't touch her, because her father was actually scared of his eldest son, who was both smart and very strong.

When joy turned 14 she got her first job. It was at a car wash a few suburbs over where people weren't quite at the poverty line. finally she had something to take her away from home after school, and she was earning her own money and able to help her mother out. Unfortunately after she had been there about a year, her brother was graduating school and had managed to get himself a scholarship to a university. He was out and he really had a chance. Of course, it would mean leaving 15 year old Joy alone with her father and meek mother. She would have to provide for them alone without his help and he wouldn't be there to protect her from her fathers anger at life.

And, despite how much she needed him, she begged him to take it and then one day, when he was successful, he could come get her. She just had to keep her head up till then. Since then, Joy has pretty much been forced to drop out of high school and work several jobs instead to keep her father happy. When she brought home a paycheck or a meal, he would go buy himself a bottle and happily go to sleep. If she couldn't work for any reason, if she got sick or there were no shifts available, if she ever couldn't afford to make him dinner, she was honestly worried for her and her mother's safety. Joy had sustained a few bruises over the years from him. Her mother had lost all hope a long time ago. Last year, on Joy's birthday, she stole all of her daughters savings which she was going to use to buy herself a cake, and left town.

Who knows where her mother ended up, Joy was not in a good enough place to try to follow her or find her. So now she lives alone with her abusive and controlling father and works very hard to sustain both of them.
Relationships: TBA

In her dream Joy was standing atop a majestic mountain. Snow covered as far as she could see over the majestic arid terrain. Joy was aware of how freezing she was. Upon looking down she noticed she was wearing nothing but her cookie monster PJ shirt and a pair of tracksuit pants with a few holes in them. Alarmed, Joy called out for help. When nobody answered she left the spot she was standing and began jogging forward to keep her warmth up as much as she could. She ran, and ran through thick snow in bare feet. Her heart rate increased to a erratic pounding. She tried calling for help again, but her voice began to crack as panic set over her. Just as she felt her self slowing down, ready to collapse, her eyes flew open, and she was in her bed.

Joy sat up, getting used to her surroundings again. She noticed she was still cold, freezing actually. Joy shivered and swung her legs out of bed to look outside. There had been frost overnight and she hadn't been able to pay the heating bill yet, or rather, her father hadn't paid it. She was almost certain she had left the money for him to pay for it last night. Usually her father paid the bills when she gave him money to do so, after all he had his single father pension to use on booze and ladies of the night. Very flustered, she dialed his number into the home phone.

Three rings later he answers, voice husky and dreary. "Yeah? Uh, Jon here." He answered. "Dad, did you pay the utilities?" Joy asked careful not to sound accusing. There was a pause "Oh I forgot, I'm not gonna be home for a week." Joy angrily clenched her fist, but tried her best to speak calmly "Dad, they shut off the heating." She said simply What am I going to-"
"Well fuck, I told you to give me a bit more notice than that Joy!" He said grumpily, cutting her off. She took a breath, closing her eyes, trying VERY hard to remain calm "Dad, where is the money I gave you to do it. If you can give me access to your card I can do it every time and you wont need to worry." She said rationally. He laughed very loudly on the other end "And have you stealing my cash? No thank you!" He told her, then he sighed "Yeah, look I'll pay it soon, just send me a little extra money would ya?"

Joy wished she could punch him through the phone at this point. She knew it was pointless to say 'but I already sent you the money', he'd obviously spent it on whereever the hell he was going for a week. There goes her savings. Again. "Fine, please pay for it today dad. It's freezing here!" With that she said "See you." And hung up the phone. Before she went to work that day she begrudgingly sent him her savings, the description for the transaction in big capital letters "FOR THE BILLS".

Tim is friendly and tries his best to be a good friend and family member. Despite being timid, he can approach unknown people if he perceives them "safe" to approach and really wants to interact with them. Talking to strangers is however kind of hard for him, and he can stutter a great deal - as many would do in embarrassing, stressful or scary situations. Tim is quick to get embarrassed by seemingly minor things, and seeing him blush is not unusual.

One would imagine he would be cautious about believing someone blindly. However, Tim isn't. It doesn't take someone he knows much to convince him of something, especially if it sounds smart. His style - hair, clothes, mannerisms etc - can change in a snap if he gets a negative comment about it, or he can suddenly change his opinion about something if someone persuades him about it enough.

When angered, he can easily throw a fit and thereafter give the silent treatment until he has calmed down enough to talk. It either ends with him apologizing a lot, most of the time for his outburst or him forgiving whoever he is mad at. He rarely gets so angry that forgiveness is off the table.

Overall, Tim doesn't have a great self-esteem, he isnt too street-smart or charismatic - but he often means well. Once someone meets him, Tim can be enjoyable company and he always is ready to bake some goods to serve those who come over.

biography
[div class=scroll]
The family moved to USA a couple of years before Tim was born, and his both parents were from Thailand. They lived well, with his parents being hardworking and in 15 years they were well enough to be considered middle-class and they were blessed with a couple of more children - Tim's little brothers. From childhood, Tim learned that one had to work hard in life to achieve anything. His interests included piano, cooking and baking - her mother made sure of that he learned to cook, clean, wash dishes, wash clothes and other things required in daily lives.

Once he turned 19 and had finished high school, Tim decided to move out of the house and to his own. His parents wanted him to be as hard-working as them and to not take money for granted, and thus only gave him enough money to rent a rather cheap apartment. Thats how Tim ended up in the neighborhood, working at the nearby coffee-shop to afford the bills.

Tim feels very comfortable around Chuck, to an extent where he can joke around with the younger one. More often than not, Chuck manages to calm Tim down if he is worrying about his looks or other things. Sometimes the younger guy can be somewhat flirty, making Tim feel flustered - but he doesn't complain, since it is quite adorable.

Charlie McGee

Often whenever they meet, Booker tends to mess with him and this makes Tim feel rather insecure and nervous, so he tries to avoid hanging around him more than necessary.

Booker Frye

Robin is one of those Tim likes to spend time with every now and then. He doesn't know much about Robin, but it doesn't bother him. Tim appreciates the fun that Robin brings with him, although with a "side-dish" of recklessness.

personality
Once someone meets him, Tim can be enjoyable company and he always is ready to bake some goods to serve those who come over.

history
Thats how Tim ended up in the neighborhood, working at the nearby coffee-shop to afford the bills.

relationships

Charlie McGee
Tim feels very comfortable around Chuck, to an extent where he can joke around with the younger one. More often than not, Chuck manages to calm Tim down if he is worrying about his looks or other things. Sometimes the younger guy can be somewhat flirty, making Tim feel flustered - but he doesn't complain, since it is quite adorable.

Booker Frye
Often whenever they meet, Booker tends to mess with him and this makes Tim feel rather insecure and nervous, so he tries to avoid hanging around him more than necessary.

Robin Northam

Robin is one of those Tim likes to spend time with every now and then. He doesn't know much about Robin, but it doesn't bother him. Tim appreciates the fun that Robin brings with him, although with a "side-dish" of recklessness.

As she approached the bonfire, Alice could see many people already sitting around it. The west-siders caught her attention, and she heard something she probably wasnt intended to hear.
- Trick is, is to ignore it. They're the rodents that gave us the plague. The girl said, causing Alice to feel annoyed. They had been invited to a party and the girl had the guts to insult their "hosts". It was kind of admirable, but also very stupid.
- The party is shitty, like most East side ones are. But hey, there's good music. It seemed the girl answered a question asked by someone. Alice couldnt help but smile a little - this party was already getting rather interesting.

She slowly lowered herself behind the girl and brought her head next to the girls, staring into the flames of the bonfire in front of them.
- You know whats worse than the rodents carrying the plague? Those that are stupid enough to attend the party aforementioned rodents are hosting - but I dont know if I can blame you, maybe the plague has already caused your brain to rot. She said in a calm tone, although a slight annoyance could be heard from it. Even though she entertained the idea of telling the girl how she could see herself to the closest taxi and go home - just before pointing out how it might be a tad too expensive. But that would've been a low-blow, and she refused to stoop there.
- If you are displeased with the party, you can close your pretty mouth and walk away. Anyway, welcome to the sewers, west-sider. Her voice turned from calm to sarcastically cheerful as she welcomed the girl. Alices gaze went to the girls face for a moment as she smiled and stood up again to pull a cider out of her backpack, open it and take a sip - she would not make it through the party without drinking at least a little, with the current situation, anyway.

Alice wasn't exactly hostile towards west-siders, and if she found some common ground with one, she wouldn't mind befriending them. But fact was that east-siders and west-siders were pretty much raised to dislike each other. Either west-siders would be very hostile because of the wealth the east-siders had, or east-siders would be hostile because they thought west-siders were all criminals or up to no good. It was an ugly cycle, but Alice had to admit to herself that she was guilty of judging books by the cover.

Just like that girl in front of her - she looked like the kind who was giving her parents a hard time in the name of "Nobody gets me" or "I'm too smart for this world, everyone else is stupid and boring". Okay, maybe that was a little too dramatic, but it proved the point that she too was judgmental at times. Of course, she kept it to herself.

Full Name: Rockerfeller "Rox" McGee
Age and Birthday: 48 | October 30th
Role: Papa, Sugar Daddy, or just plain ol' Sperm Donor

Personality, As told by loved ones:
"He drinks a Whiskey drink, he drinks a Vodka drink
He drinks a Lager drink, he drinks a Cider drink
and then he pukes everywhere at your best friend's wedding. Do not bring him anywhere." - Lucifer

"He shit on my lawn." - Bo

"He's a real piece of shit. The only good thing he's ever done was give me my family. It's just better if I stay away from him." - Lydia

History:
browning.jpg

He loved her, adored her from the very moment she showed him that the pee stick was positive. They'd started out as a fling but once there was a kid involved--along with shot guns--Rox knew he'd found the one in Josie. She was an artist and her favorite thing to paint were the angels on high. She loved them so much that she decided to name their first born after one. Whenever he'd ask her why she'd just shrug and reply "Even he had to learn how to get back up again." And as they had more children he sorta understood what she meant. He'd gotten himself a liter with the same defiant look in their eyes as Josie had. Maybe that was the reason he sorta hated his own children after she went to be one of the angels herself.

He had to drink to forget her. Then smoke, snort, and anything else that could bury his own heart along with hers. He became some sort of salesman for a good timer and ragged debauchery, which always ended up with him realizing he was stuck. But, nothing else could heal the hurt. And if he was gonna hurt then damn him if he wasn't gonna enjoy it. He left the family in Lucky's hands. He seemed capable enough. He was named after the biggest loser in history, so it stood to reason that Jo had been right about their son. That, maybe he'd know how to get back up again.

Relationships:
Charlie: His baby boy and the only one who has any sympathy left for the man. Usually lets him in when Lucky won't and gives him booze money.

(I'm playing him for the moment, unless someone else wishes to fill the role later on).

Full Name: Adam Wyatt
Age and Birthday: 38, 21st May
Role: Lileath's partner

Positive Traits: Considerate about a very select group of people, intelligent and has a good sense of foresight.

He values structured arguments based on logic rather than feeling and being truthful, as he can't stand being lied to, even just over petty things.

Negative Traits: Haughty to people he doesn't know well, cynical, disdainful of society at large.

Personality:

Adam prefers to be called by his surname, Wyatt, and everyone calls him this, except when people either just meet him or are trying to be rude.

Not extremely wealthy, but not poor either, Wyatt lives a comfortable, although until recently mostly solitary, lifestyle. He spends most of his time reading and works with illustrating children's books, which was what first brought him and Lileath into contact. They soon realised they had chemistry together, and although there wasn't an official declaration that they got together, they both saw themselves as the others partner. They are currently working on a book project together, although she has kept this secret from her family.

He is a very organised man who cannot stand chaos and disorder, and although Lileath loves him this can be a bit wearing at times, as everything has to be planned out in detail. He's very protective, and although he has a vague idea of her family life, if he knew half of how bad her father was he'd insist that she moved out with him despite her providing essential money for the family.

Relationships:

Lileath: The two have now been a couple for nearly eight months, and they are getting along great. He'd like for her to move in with him, and although he has made several attempts to know more about her family, she's always kept him at arms length from it.

Lydia Soleil McGee

November 4th (20 years old)

Female

Heterosexual (although curious)

Middle Child; Eldest Daughter

Positive Traits
Charismatic, Faithful, Protective, Adaptable

Negative Traits
Unpredictable, Jealous, Frivolous, Lazy

Personality
Lydia is a fun and carefree spirit. She doesn't like to be held down by anything or anyone, including jobs or boyfriends, and prefers to spend much of her time indulging in the more pleasant things in life (sex, drugs, etc). She is rather lazy and rarely cleans up after herself, making her annoying to live with. She dislikes spending time alone and can easily become a nuisance if she isn't receiving some sort of interaction or attention. She will not hesitate to speak her mind and is very opinionated.

Lydia is extremely protective of her siblings. She isn't afraid to get into a physical altercation with someone if it means saving the pride and reputation of her and her siblings. Despite having a carefree facade, she is deeply troubled inside. Depression plagues her thoughts and alcohol has proven to be her escape. She realizes she is following in her father's footsteps but finds it difficult to stop.

IS OH SO EXHAUSTING . . .

I JUST WANNA GET LOST NOW | PERSONALITY
+ traits kindhearted, gentle, easygoing, resourceful, observant, reserved
- traits irresponsible, compulsive, unmotivated, unreliable, cowardly,

Charlie, like a lot of young boys, exhibited signs of ADHD from a young age. He used to be a loud obnoxious brat. The one his brothers and sisters would tell to shut up because he was talking to much or bouncing off the walls. Being excitable and having the inability to focus made him a nightmare in classes. He would go out of his way to seek attention from his older siblings. But with so many kids, Chuck didn't get that attention he craved and after a certain milestone in his life, he realized that... hey.. the world isn't about me. But instead of turning that fact into something helpful for the family, he began to withdraw into himself and make himself a smaller presence. Now, Charlie is hardly the young kid he used to be. He is quick to chastise himself if he takes up too much attention or is too loud at any given time. He keeps to his room, or worse than that, he'll refuse to come home at all.

Charlie has developed an almost passive personality the more drugs he took in middle and high school with kids from the wrong crowd. He became unmotivated to do his schoolwork or look for any kind of future after high school. He became more concerned with when he'd find his next high than when that essay for English was due. He's not great at communicating his feelings or when he's in a low slump. And Charlie has no idea how to get out of this shit. He isn't sure he ever wants to. And who cares, anyway? Everybody's too busy making sure their dumb ass dad doesn't lose them their house. Charlie actually spends more time with this older guy next door than at his own house. Bo always has drugs. Like... always. And he hates the rest Charlie's family almost as much as Charlie does.

SO, IM GOING NOW | HISTORY
Chuck struggled from a young age with ADHD, and it made him a real handful for any family dealing with as many kids at the McGee family dealt with. It made him hyperactive and slow in classes. Teachers constantly sent him to the principle and called his parents, later his siblings, due to misbehavior. Few teachers had the patience for the bundle of energy that Chuck displayed in their classes. He was loud, disruptive, and difficult though that was hardly his fault. At home, Chuck didn't get the extra help he might have needed, so he often found himself going to his neighbor's house for help with his homework. Booker was super smart, even if he got held back a grade. And he was the reason Charlie even passed fourth grade, himself. Booker didn't seem to mind having the younger McGee kid crash at his place. He even suggested that Chuck try weed for the first time to help him chill out when he was feeling jumpy.

Chuck smoked his first blunt when he was in fifth grade. He smoked his first cigarette in sixth. Had his first shot with Bo and a couple of Bo's buddies when he was in eighth grade. Did his first line in high school when he was fifteen. But the feeling was way too familiar to his childhood. Hyper. Energetic. He wasn't a fan. Booker gave him Xanax to calm him down in his freshman year to deal with the stress of finals. And now? The rest is history, Chuck is hooked to the shit. If his family had no idea, he wouldn't be surprised. But he knew they knew. How could they not when he came home with breakouts and dark circles under his bloodshot eyes? How could nobody notice if his grades were totally slipping, and it was likely he was gonna fail his senior year? Who cared that Charlie was quiet and rarely acknowledged his dad or siblings? When he shut his bedroom door, the house smelled like weed but that didn't matter because the whole damn neighborhood smelled like weed.

Charlie has dated around a few times within his crowd of those stoners that hang out in the bleachers. He goes to parties where he knows there'll be drugs. And he'll do just about anything to stay out of his house and away from his family, but he eventually ends up back in his room. Typically, he'll come back home when he crashes. When he had a bad trip. When he's feeling empty or hollow and low. He doesn't know what he expects coming back, but a part of him wants to get better. A part of him misses his family, though he wouldn't admit it to them. He especially wouldn't admit it to his eldest brother or Bo. But whatever, man... there was nothing a little pill couldn't fix.

AWAY, AWAY | RELATIONSHIPS
Lucky - Chuck resents Lucky for chasing their dad away. Rox and Charlie had been close as hell before their mom died, you know? And Charlie was going through a lot of shit. What made Lucky the king all of a sudden? Plus, he's always picking fights with Booker. What does he care anyways? Charlie wants Lucky to stay out of his life like he pushed dad out of theirs.

Kris - God, she needs to stop flirting with Bo. And fuckin’ Bo better knock it off too. There’s only so much Charlie can stand before he loses it on both of them. Also, fuck her for using Dad. But what else is new?

Lydia - Probably his favorite sibling, by far. Though he’s still distant, she’s the only one who seems to really care about him and shows it. He wishes they were closer but feels like he’s already burned that bridge.

Malik - This dude is gonna annoty the hell out of Chuck. Everything was fine while this guy was in juvie, but now Bo is acting all weird and tense. Plus, he keeps calling Chuck 'kid' but he's pretty sure Malik is only a year older than him. The fuck was wrong with all these people? Chill out guys...

Booker - Bo is Charlie's only escape from his family and his own fucked up head. He likes that Bo seems to care about him, cause Bo doesn't care about anybody besides his sister and that asshole Malik. The brother Charlie never had.

Tim - Charlie has kind of adopted Tim since the guy moved here. He knows Tim’s older but he kind of seems like a lost puppy. A really fuckin’ cute lost puppy that he’d like to get high and kiss.

Dad - "Fuck off, you didn't know him before mom died. You try living with Lucky and you'd end up just like us- er, Dad. Just like Dad."

"Back to the corner of the world
Where the sun don't shine
This place is too familiar
No matter how far I go, I always fall"

Nickname: Eddy
Age and Birthday: 14, 21st May
Role: youngest daughter

Positive Traits: Brave, Resoursful, Loyal, Well-meaning, passionate
Negative Traits: Naive, Clingy, Impulsive, loner, short fuse, immature

Personality:

Meekah could pretty much be described as a human with small dog syndrome. She speaks her mind to everybody and everyone despite how scary they are. Never one to back down from a challenge, Meekah will literally fight anyone who challenges her, weather they be verbally or physically. She get's triggered into rage whenever someone belittles her, she particularly dislikes anyone who makes a comment on either her size or who treats her like a child.

The up side to her extreme behavior is her passion and hardiness. She doesn't easily get disheartened, sticking to her goals no matter what they are. She gets very passionate about those who she loves, and will do nearly anything to protect them. This goes for hobby too, Meekah is passionate about almost everything she sets her mind too. Unfortunately, those things might currently be finding a boyfriend and stealing things.

Meekah has a constant need to be alone and away from crowds. She finds large groups of people very hard to deal with and, although she seems like a confident person, she really dislikes being the center of attention. Before her family expanded she was pretty much used to being alone all day and night for days on end. She is very independent and doesn't crave attention like the others. She, like most, craves love and companionship, but she does not know how to socialise properly, plus she is very uneducated and both her maths and English levels are below average, making her very self-conscious. Once Meekah does find someone she likes, she tends to become obsessive. She wants all of their time, and gets angry and overly-sensitive if they dare to ignore her. She is aware people get sick of her because of this trait, but instead of reassessing herself, she tends to blame anyone but.

Meekah means well, she really does try to be there for her family and friends, she is always trying to help, but the young lady has a lot of growing up to do. She is still prone to angry outbursts and immature and impulsive decisions. Most of all she needs a good role model, and some guidance.

2A667309-EF27-4395-A1D2-C372F7E0F35F.jpegHistory: Meekah was born Meekah Smalls, living with her mother for the first 10 years of her life. Her mother had a fling with Mr. Mcgee which resulted in a pregnancy unbeknownst to him. Her mother had her because she was severely depressed and wanted, in her words, something to live for. So the woman tried her best to be a good mother. She wasn't rich, but she had a good full time job at a warehouse and lived with her mother, who looked after the little girl when she was a baby. When Meekah was old enough to go to school, her mother moved into her own house. Her mother had found herself a boyfriend, whom she decided she loved more than her daughter. Meekah was used to her mother being all about her, coming home from work and cooking her yummy food or giving her a makeover or a new hairstyle, or a present. Now she was all about herself, and her new squeeze. She was always out, always at his house or out on the town with him. She wouldn't tell Meekah ahead when she was leaving, she'd just drop a note and some money on the counter and Meekah would have to take the bus to the shops to get dinner. In the days, sometimes weeks her mother was gone she couldn't go to school. Well she could, but it was a very long trip via train, where as by car it was about 30 minutes.

She would have to walk a km, catch the train and then walk another two uphill, and unless a friend wanted her to come, she wouldn't bother. It was the repeated unexplained absences that finally called child services to her door. When they came for her, she was extreamly malnourished, having mostly just eaten things that tasted goof and didn't need much effort to cook, like frozen pizza and junk. She spent most of her time drinking, smoking and listening to heavy metal music with teenagers much older than herself. Instead of going into foster care, Meekah was informed that her father existed and had a family, and she was in a strangers car being taken to a strangers house.

Now Meekah has been at the Mcgee's household for three years, mostly living the same life she did back then, but having to share it with a lot more people.

Full Name: Leliana "Leli" James
Age: 17
Nationally: Italian-American
Birthday: February 20th
Role: Neighbor/Love Interest
Occupation: Waitress and a Motel Housekeeper
Sexuality: Bisexual/Demi-Romantic

Height: 5'2"
Weight: 121lbs
Hair Color: Dirty Blonde
Eye Color: Blue

Positive Traits: Hardworking, Kindhearted, Open-Minded, Independent
Negative Traits: Paranoid, Lone Wolf, Blunt, Untrusting
Personality: Leliana is the type of girl most people ignore, but the one your parents want you to turn out like. She doesn't drink she doesn't smoke anything, she hardly seems to go out anywhere other than work, Leli is the girl most people avoid because shes the serious one. Which is true. She's mature for her age, though that may be thanks to the childhood trauma and consent pressure put on by her mother, but hey, whatever works. She doesn't laugh as jokes most people would find funny, or take part in a lot of the activities most people around her enjoy, and so, like mentioned, she goes unnoticed. That's okay, she's fairly quiet anyway, enjoying reading, relaxing, and videogames over other stuff. It does kinda suck that nobody takes time to get to know her, the real her. The one that's always there for you no matter what, the one who's a great shoulder to cry on and will totally not ask question if you need stitches but can go to the hospital. She can patch you up. Most people just use cor the last thing, she doesnt mind, some of them pay. Anyway, Leli was once described as the most empathetic force of nature that person had evern met. She was kind, always putting others infront of herself despite herself going through major troubles. She's despressed, has been diagnosed with PTSD, and according to her, is completely and totally alone in the world. At least, that's how she sees it despite how many people she may or may not have. Leli is still working on it, once a month she goes and sees a therapist, though she may have to quit.

History(TRIGGER WARNING): Leliana was born down south in North Carolina, though nobody has ever heard her say where in NC. Born to a single mother, life was harsh from the get go. Her mother didn't have family to rely on, at least, any she trusted enough with an infant, and struggled with providing what they both needed, she would soon have to move in with her brother who lived a few states away. It was better, for a while, but it wouldn't be for long. Leliana's uncle had a sick attraction to little girls, more specifically, to Leliana herself, and from the ages of 6 to 13 abused her. To make sure nobody would grow suspicious, he groomed her into believing that everyone would hate her if she told, and he even pushed her academically so nobody at school would think one of the top students was undergoing something horrible. Eventually, she told her mom, who didn't believe her at first, but set up a video camera in order to film evidence. When they caught it, they took it and him to court, and he got sentenced to two years in jail. She was diagnosed with PTSD at the age of 13.

It wasn't a long sentence , but it was long enough for a few major things to happen. The first was the downward spiral of Diane James, that would eventually lead to Leliana collecting eveidence to become emancipated at the age of 15. She won that court case, and with the govrnements help, was relocated somewhere neither her mother or her uncle would know about. She also managed to graduate highschool a year later at the age of 16, starting an online nursing program a few months later so she could better blance her two jobs and meek social life.

Relationships:
Malik
: Someone she doesn't know personally, but she defiantly knows the name. And has unfortunately found herself working for a few of his boys. Since shd has medical knowlegde, and a dair number of people know that, she's occsionally forced to patch up the people who can go the hospital or urgent care of whatever reason. Regardless, she's less than impressed with him, his men, his whole opeeration really. Sure, he's doing what he needs to do, but he's not as scary as he'd like to think. ( erzulie erzulie Hope this is okay)
Charlie: Leliana befriended Charlie shortly after moving in across the street crom his house, and starting the same school as him. Even though they were very different, and she graduated early and is beginning her sophmore year of college, she is still friends with Charlie. She worries about him, and Leliana wants him to realise that if he just worked a little harder, he could make his life so much better. Regaurdless, she still does her best to be a good friend. atomic atomic
Other: Owns a retired MWD (Military Working Dog) named Chyna, a german shepard, who is also a registered emotional support dog. She takes Chyna everywhere.

tumblr_om0fmwD7RH1um3f6co9_250.gif
With the last box finally inside, Leliana finally took a moment to breathe. The past two months had been stressful, but without the support of anyone, she had managed to do the impossible. At just 15, she was living on her own. Of course it was govrnement housing and from time to time until she was 18 she sould have to see a social worker to make sure she was still up for taking care of herself, but she had won the court case, and was miles away from her mother, from her uncle, from everything that was holding her down. No longer did she feel like she was drowning. It was odd really, the feeling of being by herself like this. Her home was a small rental, two bedrooms, one bathroom, with a small kitchen and living room, surprisngly an open concept. Enough space for her and the dog she planed on adopting. Leliana had been in contact with a man who couldn't take care of his dog Chyna anymore, and was willing to let Leliana have her for about 50 bucks. It was good, things were looking up substantially. It's just, filthy. Her escorts were kind enough to help her move her big furniture into place, which she got once her mother was moved into a better place for her mental state, but now she had to unpack various boxes and organize.

After a few hours, and a quick trip to the store, she managed to find some of the kitchen stuff and fixed some mac and cheese for dinner. She should probably learn how to cook more than just boxed things, which would be why she is signing up for the cooking class her new highschool offered while she watched TV. She had to wonder what kinda of people shs was going to meet around here, neighbor hoods like this always seemed to get such a bad reputation in the media, but it was becase the govrnment tended to turn their backs on them. Which sucked major ass, but she couldn't so anything about that. At least not now, while shs was watching some random crime show in her underwear. She lived alone now, nobody was going to stop her. But, she did feel it. That loneliness, which was something she was going to have to get use to. But, nothing could be as bad as what she left behind, nothing.

Now introducing NPC characters!!!

The use of NPC characters are simple, if you don't know what they are in rps:

NPCs will be made by one character, with a short list of info. They won't be main characters, but every player can use them as needed. For example: If I was making a post about Julie but wanted to incorporate Chaz, I would just use him in the background of Julie's post.

[rufus nevarro]

full name: rufus nevarro
age and birthday: 22, 5th of june
role: possible love interest of lucifer
height: 6'0
weight: 170lbs
haircolor: red
eyecolor: ice blue
built: toned
+determined
+helpful
+caring
-agressive
-distant
-disorganised

personality: at first sight, rufus is the perfect man. a real gentlemen. he's manly but soft, caring and is well mannered. rufus is quite selfless and puts the needs of others infront of his own needs. rufus is very complimentful and you'll always get a well-meant compliment from him.
most see this as flirting but when it comes to flirting rufus is very shy, once he likes a guy he wants to go to the end of the world for that person.
once you get to know him more you will notice that rufus has a high inner wall raised to hide his true feelings.
it's quite difficult to become part of his inner circle of friends with who he shares his true feelings.
not that his friendliness is an act, it's rather not the whole picture. but like most persons, rufus has different sides.
because he is very caring of the people he loves and trust he can become agressive towards people who try to hurt his friends. he will to any lenghts to make sure his friends aren't hurt.
while it looks from the outside that his life is quite good, rufus is really disorganized, he isn't good at planning and often forgets important things. his apartment is also a mess

history: rufus is of italian descend. his grandparents moved to america right after their marriage. since then the nevarro family has ran a succesful pizzeria in the city center called 'mario's pizza'. after he finished elementary school he started working in the pizzeria. rufus started at the bottom as dishwasher for 3 nights. his whole highschool time was focused around the pizzeria. right after school he went to the pizzeria to study and make homework. when the first orders came in he started washing the dishes and after a year to make the pizzas. he worked until late and then he started early again at school.
he didn't have much friends, but he was the guy who was cool with everyone. sometimes he sat with the nerds while other times with the popular kids. with only a few others he had a very good connection. with these people he shared nearly everything. after graduating highschool he started to work full-time at the pizzaria but last summer he started at the univeristy to study european history.

Naomi Frye
Age
12 years old
Birthday September 14
Role Booker's little sister and reason to be alive pretty much (NPC)

Naomi, usually referred to as Omi, is a little beacon of optimism for the youth of this neighborhood. Booker managed to get through to her from a young age that she didn't want to be like him when she got older. She also realizes that everything Booker has done and given up was for her and her mom. Her eldest brother, Daniel left them all when he got his full-ride scholarship to UCLA. Booker didn't have that option after Dan left. She was also there through the years Bo kept their dad in check, usually by taking the brunt force of that man's temper. She makes sure that everything he's done isn't in vain so she does well in school, keeps away from drugs and alcohol, and keeps the company of good people so he doesn't have to worry about her. The sooner she can convince him that she's capable of taking care of herself (she knows she can't, right now), she will. She just hopes he can find out a way to get out of Malik's gang without it killing him by the time that happens.

Full Name: Nicholas Guzman
Age and Birthday: 24 - June 27th
Role: Neighbor - Mechanic

Positive Traits: Adaptable, loyalty, self-reliant.
Negative Traits: Aggressive, jealous, obsessive, and possessive.

Personality: Floating from one neighborhood to another, Nicholas had to depend on himself while his dad was working. They never stayed in one place long enough for him to create friendships; the diversity of new environments caused him to adapt to his surroundings in order to survive because more often than not they were harsh. Although he had a hard time finding friends girls were not a problem.

Around fourteen, he began fiddling with car parts and began to develop the athletic and lightly muscled physique he currently has. While he has his pick of females Nic is really attracted to the innocent looking females. Nic has only been in a few relationships and they've ended badly, not only because he never stayed in one place long enough to develop them, but because of his jealousy and possessiveness involving the girl.

Nicholas often has an internal fight with himself. Should he be good. Should he be bad. Because of that predicament sometimes it's unsure which Nicholas you'll be dealing with. Helping his old neighbors with housework comes just as easy to him as fucking up some person for a random reason. Don't underestimate him.

History: Nicholas' early life was troubled after the passing of his mother at seven years old. His father, Doug, drug him around from trashy place to trashier. His neighbors trashcans were usually where he found his dinner - at least until he got older and craftier enough to steal from convenience stores.

Seventeen was a difficult age for him. His girlfriend who he had loved, even planned a baby with, was murdered. The love between him and Lizzie was electrical, the fighting dangerously brutal. Luckily for Nic, Lizzie had kept him her little secret. He didn't mean to kill her but she wouldn't stop provoking him. Lizzie knew he was the jealous sort. Should have never threw the other guys in his face. With the help of Doug they got rid of the body. Never had he thought he would be able to count on the guy for anything.

When he turned eighteen, Doug parted ways with his son. Nic had a job as an understudy mechanic for a startup shop since he was sixteen. He'd saved a bit of money and had enough to rent an apartment. The apartment switched into a house with a very colorful community.

In the front yard of the old yellow ranch house, Rawly squatted beside Bessy, his white and purple volkswagen bus. He had decided yesterday that she needed a good scrub. So, here he was, wash cloth in hand, scrubbing her dented side clean. As he wiped the cloth across the hard exterior his mind went to a tightly locked box he kept private from everyone. Today, inside that box, contained images of Rawly using the cloth not wash Bessy but instead Calvin, his friend.

It started innocently enough with a back scrub but then Calvin leaned back, put his head on Rawly's shoulder and smiled that adorable smile of his that always made Rawly's heart go pitter-patter. In this dream, Rawly was much more open. His fingers threaded through Calvin's dark hair and then he gripped the locks and pulled his head to the side - so Rawly could reach his mouth. Staring into Calvin's eyes, Rawly's tongue shot out and licked Calvin's bottom lip. Calvin's grin got wider. Soon the wash cloth was forgotten and Rawly's hand traveled down Calvin's smooth chest. The hand still in Calvin's hair pulled his head to the other side to give Rawly access to Cal's neck. Rawly's mouth explored the the smooth flesh as his other hand went inside the unbuttoned jeans -BEEP BEEP.

Snapping back to reality, Rawly shook his head, trying to dislodge the scene from his head. He looked around for the source of the beeping and found it was his outdated smartphone he'd placed on a bucket away from the water. Standing, he got the phone and heat blasted his face once he saw the name of who texted. Calvin. He wanted to meet up. Rawly looked down at his wet clothes, specifically his jeans, and noticed he was a little excited from the dream.

Sure, Cal. Might be a few tho. Was in the middle of something.

Rawly put the car wash supplies away before going inside to change his clothes and take care of business. Ripped jeans, a shirt from when he was in 10th grade, and a pullover completed the ensemble. By the time he was done forty minutes had past. He hopped into Bessy, who wasn't dry yet, and took off for Cal's house. Cal didn't live that far from him so it was a short ride. As he came to a stop in the drive he could see the guy messing around inside the garage. Exiting the car, Rawly had to remind himself to keep the dream in the private box. For later. When he was alone.

"Hey, man!"

Full Name: Kamaria Imani Hughes
Age and Birthday: 2 |February 14th

Role: Daughter of Malik Hughes | Niece of Shalice Hughes

Bio: Kamaria was a planned pregnancy but not by her father. Before her birth her mother was one of Malik’s casual flings, nothing more and nothing less. Though her mother wanted to be more, the thought of all the money and glamour that came with being a kingpin’s girl drove her to try and secure a spot by Malik’s side. Of course when he found of about this he was furious but he refused to abandoned his child since family happened to be everything to him. Privately Malik paid her off to sign over all rights to himself and she was more than happy to in exchange for money. With the help of his sister, mother, and grandmother his was able to raise his daughter and make sure that she wanted for nothing.

Kamaria is just like her father at times, standoffish and a little unvering but she’s a sweet little girl with no filter.
