Fantasy Secrets are Protection

It wasn't that Avalon didn't know she could be in danger. It was the fact that, at the moment, she simply didn't care. Why would she? The water had called to her, lured her with the same song she so loved to sing. When she was with the water, Avalon didn't care. She was happy, and for that moment, that was all that had mattered to her. She had been away from her precious friend for far too long; running back into it's embrace was only natural for the water nymph. To be back in the element that had cradled her from infancy up until her capture; this was where she belonged.

So when Accra showed up, asking why she was in the water, she felt no need to look up at him, her naked form floating care free in the water. Instead, she just smiled, wading around and humming. "She called to me." Was all that she replied, and for her, that was enough. Perhaps he wouldn't have understood; it mattered not. Honestly, she would be surprised if he did understand her. Not many humans, or at least those that were not connected to the water in some way, shape, or form, understood the way nymphs were. This was their home, their life source. It'd only be natural to want to be near it.
