Prince of the Flame

Roscoe was stressed to say the least. Yesterday he had got new that 2 Winters 2 Springs and 1 Fall had been hanging out together. Caught by one of their younger siblings. The worst thing was he would have to work with other seasons to track them down and kill them. At least he has some time right? He checked his watch and it said that the meeting starts at 2:00 pm. He let out a sigh of relief as it was only 11:00 am. Roscoe hopped into the showers and washed himself off. After putting on some clothes he came down stairs. “Are you ready for the meeting son?” Not even a hello or a good morning. He would have gotten Mad but he didn’t have time for that. “Yes, Father I am Ready. I will be leaving soon to meet up with the other seasons.” His father grimaced. “Good Luck son.” Roscoe assumes his father was worried about him. Turns out his father just didn’t like the other seasons being around his son. Roscoe walked out of the door and got in his car. He drove to the meeting place at the center of the city where all the faction points meet. As he passed the giant walls blocking off him and all the rest of the summers from the other seasons he sighed heavily. “What would it be like. To co exist?” He smacked himself across the face NO he yelled at least in his heads he did. He couldn’t think like that. The other seasons would never agree to that anyways. Unless it’s those springs. He sighed and pulled into the driveway of the building.

Prince of the Jungle

Jayden ran through the woods to get to the meeting place. “They better be there. If they aren’t we’re all gonna get caught.” He had woke up this morning to two cops wrapping tree branches around him that they grew. They said he was under arrest for the crimes of befriending other seasons. He managed to break out and flee the scene. He hadn't even got their names. He bairly knew the other seasons well besides the spring girl but he didn’t catch her name either. They weren’t friends. If anything they were still figuring each other out. He still got the creeps from that winter girl. Jayden got the feeling that If he got on her bad side it wouldn’t end well. He finally reached the old abandon house and found it empty. “I hope they‘re okay.” He was usually happy but after being dis owned by his own family and sentenced to be executed he wasnt feeling to happy. He sat down on the old plastic chair and wiped the sweet from his brow. He heard a silky voice come from behind him “Back again?” He turned his head and it was the stray cat from the other day. When they first stumbled upon this place he was able to communicat with the cat who seemed mysterious. “I heard from a little birdie that your friends are coming too.” The cat paused for a second. “No really I heard it from a robin that was flying over here.” That brightened Jaydens mood a bit. “Thanks for that.”

Carlo scratched at his scar irritably. The one identifying mark on his face, it often kept him from blending in when need be. Today, however, there was no need to blend it, even if he was sitting against one of the massive walls in the city center. Most civilians wouldn’t know his face, maybe they’d seen it on the news, but they wouldn’t remember it.

But today he wasn’t here to blend in. Today he was here to be seen, perhaps to sow the seeds of worry in the hearts of those meeting in the great building at the center of the city. Because if Carlo Sumarta was in the city center, surely he had something planned. No, he had no attacks planned. He’d only gotten word of the news last night, and there was no time to set up an operation in 12 hours.

Carlo’s status among the factions had diminished recently, his group of guerillas being relegated to a bunch of radicals who talked big talk but never did anything. Well, perhaps this was the time to strike, while all four factions were distracted trying to track down a group of kids. He wasn’t sure about the kids themselves yet, having not met them personally, but they didn’t seem like the types to sympathize with his cause. Carlo sighed, continuing to watch the building at the center of the city.

Garnet

Seven minutes had gone by, and for seven minutes, she’d been sitting in her truck, glaring at the door handle. Garnet saw no benefit in going to meet those bunch of rebellious oddballs at some old house. Having driven already up to its mass in her grandfather’s old pickup truck. A gift before he passed. Now, she was having a bit of trouble deciding whether to go through with this.

But, what did she have to lose now? She couldn’t go back to her apartment, they knew who she was. If she went in, they wouldn’t let her leave. Her parents had most likely already disowned her. Then her older brother...she wouldn’t be surprised if he was apart of the ones after her.

Garnet gave a frustrated sigh as she dragged her hands down her face. Was she scared of going to jail, no, frankly, no not really. Did she have an agenda to reclaim her reputation? No...winter’s were a bore, everyone was the same. Was she skeptical of the other kids? Yes, of course she was, that autumn fellow talked more than she could think. Probably a distraction to take their attention away from his real agenda. However, doing this...might actually make a difference. Perhaps, just perhaps, she’d have better people to talk to than a bunch of emotionless winters.

She clutched the door handle so hard, frost began to form around the door. “What the hell...” she muttered as she swung the door open. “What’s the worse that could happen...” With that, she jumped down from her truck and landed on the lush grass with a silent thud. Garnet swallowed as she marched up to the abandoned house.

“How embarrassing would it be if I actually came here alone.” A joke, to no one in particular. She thought it was funny though, needless to say, her expression didn’t at all show it.

With a small knock to the the door before pushing it open, Garnet took a step inside. “Anyone. Home?....Oh.” Meant to be a relieved “oh?” but is sounded more like a disappointed, “oh...”

“Spring kid. A, pleasure more or less, to see you again. Still waiting for everyone else I see.” She voiced before turning to peer out the door. Checking for anyone that may have followed; deeming the cost clear, she gently shut the door and made herself comfortable on a nearby wall. And as she leaned against the wooden planks, bits of frost began to spread from where she laid. The frost was just as cold as the expression she gave to the adolescent spring before her, and the cat, why the heck was there a cat here?

Ivy Cortez-Suzuki
Ivy bounced happily down the street, moving closer to the grand building in which her and others were being assembled to track down some young adults. They had to be around the same age as Ivy herself, only being hunted down because of their difference in faction. Ivy had heard many things about this new task, not being on board completely with killing them, but, she was going to do what she needed to do. Ivy didn’t have many goals, she wasn’t somebody overly dangerous or hostile, all she wanted was acceptance. Many people, especially those from her faction underestimate her, due to her small stature and fragile emotions at times. That was going to change! Ivy was going to join this team, capture those traitors, and show everyone that Ivy Cortez-Suzuki can never be looked down upon! At least, that’s what the girl hoped for. Ivy’s happy attitude diminished, as her walking slowed, suddenly becoming deep in thought about what was to come. Ivy didn’t know anybody she was set to work with, they were probably all intimidating or vicious people....was she really cut out for this? She didn’t really have a choice to turn back, she was standing before the large doors of the central building. Ivy closed her bright silver eyes to take a deep breath, she just needed to compose herself. Everything was going to be fine.

Ivy thought many things were wrong with this world, the factions being split only brought pain to many. Look at the teens she was soon to be hunting...they all were just hanging out, but now they were enemies to their faction. It was a painful thought, sadly this was how the world was. All that Ivy had left was faith. Faith in herself, faith in the factions, faith in her future peers. She could already guess she’d be the only spring on the team, it was odd for a spring to be on a mission that involved search and destroy, but this was her opportunity to prove everyone wrong. Ivy believed she could do this, even if no one else did.

With that in mind...her parents, her faction, her friends and people...she couldn’t let them down by turning back. Ivy was going to plunge herself in head first. It was her time to shine! Using every bit of confidence she had, Ivy shut her eyes again, heading straight into the building.

Azuki Shimo
Azuki wasn’t in much of a rush...cool as ice, like always ironically. He strolled through the forest, brushing his white hair from his eyes as he traversed the terrain of grass and trees, his eyes scanning the area for anybody trailing him. Even in the sunlight, Azuki still wore a fur lined jacket, seemingly never becoming hot or even revealing a bead of sweat. Azuki despised the idea of meeting with the others, but in all reality, his best chance of survival was sticking to the group. Even though the group was small, it was harder to outnumber five than to outnumber one. Although Azuki always can put up a fight, just ask the people who tried to capture him on his way out of the lands of faction two. All of them were either frozen in ice, crippled enough to where they couldn’t fight due to his making of ice weapons, or simply not fast enough to keep up with the boy. The only person who cared for him leaving was his mother, who never seemed like a true winter, she was sweet in a way, unlike his father, who threw him out in an instant. Azuki rolled his eyes at the thought, he never showed a great deal of emotion or affection for anything, let alone his family. This is why he had no issue leaving, and had no issue injuring others to survive. Even the other winter that was apart of the group, he could care less about, he didn’t know any of their names, let alone have a bond with any of them...not even an interest in a bond. It was all a game of survival, and he was hellbent on winning.

Azuki didn’t have a car, and even if he wanted to attempt to skate on his own ice, it would make an easy trail straight to where they were at. His feet still crunched at the leaves underneath him, Azuki taking another deep breath, getting quite fed up with this tedious walking. I swear to God, if they aren’t there... , Azuki thought to himself, wondering if they would all actually be there. If not, he truly was on his own...and he was probably walking into a set-up. A rare feeling of doubt creeped into his mind, his usual confident demeanor shaken by the fear of his own capture and death. There was no way he could be afraid to reach the house. He argued with himself greatly, a clash between his own confidence and his fear. This process of thinking distracted him from the walk, not before long, he was at his destination.

The house was abandoned, and it certainly fit that title. Azuki clenched his teeth as he slowly ascended the stairs, pausing as he reached the door. Azuki didn’t knock, he simply opened the door, nodding as a greeting to the two teens that were already present. He glided in, keeping both of his hands in his pockets, throwing himself down on a couch, with a loud sigh. His face showed no fear, no worry, even as it gnawed at him inside. Azuki settled on a blank stare, letting his eyes glance between the winter on one side, the spring on the other....this was going to be quite the group.

Cedar

“You seem tense, Victor...why so?” The man sitting at front leaned his back in his chair, though his shoulders still straightened, his face calm and relaxed, and his hands meshed in a casual hold upon the surface of his desk, no elbows upon the fine dark oak wood. No matter his mood, no matter the day, the man never failed to look more dignified than everyone else. Cedar Zhou, was the name upon his platinum badge on the right of his chest. The manager of one of the most prized and successful corporations in the whole city. Even among the whole factions, at least, that’s what he would defend.

Before him, was a squeamish man in a loose fitted suit, his hair raggedy and his face wet with sweat. Pitiful, how he hated to see his own faction, if not, his own employees looking like this. Just a mess. Regarding his question, the man only gave a struggling sentence that barely included the language of the common tongue. This was indeed aggravating, he hadn’t even asked him about how his task went along. “Victor…” The man gulped before becoming quiet, as the man at the desk elevated from the chair he was sitting in and paced over to where the man was sitting. “You’ve been working too much. Look at you…” He said as he put a hand on the man’s shoulder, which the employee known as victor only flinched at his touch. “Your clothes, hmph. They need ironing, might I say. How’s your wife? Is your daughter doing well in soccer?” He received an expected answer. “Good, good…” he replied with the same mellow tone. To his avail, Victor began to calm down, most likely flustered about the recent news that he had “let Jason go” this morning for failing to find the whereabouts of those foolish kids. Though the only reason Jason no longer breathed was because he refused. That was no fault of Zhou’s, the man chose his fate.

“Now then...I believe you know what I’m going to ask. Why don’t you simply tell me how your task went?” As Cedar expected, the mission was yet another failure, only ending with his men being frozen, crippled, or outran. It seemed the scouts he placed across the whole city had indeed found one of the kids, but weren’t able to lay a hand on him. Cedar stroked the smooth and fine goatee that formed around his mouth. Thinking to himself as he returned back to his desk, though only to walk to the window and gaze at the calm afternoon streets below.

“Victor.” The man grimaced as he heard his name. “I’m giving you a few days off. Spend time with your family, I think it will do you good.” The man was speechless, executing a whole different alternative.

“Th-thank you sir…” A nod only came from Zhou as he turned and gave his employee a formal smile.

“Go on, son. And next time I see you, you better have that suit ironed.” Victor then left his seat and departed, laughing to himself, it seemed he got all riled up over nothing.

As soon as a large hand closed the door upon Victor’s leave, the smile vanished from his face. Replaced with a skeptical grimace. “Those lousy manhunters proved useless…” He breathed. “No matter...perhaps I will find better colleagues at this so-called “meeting.” A meeting? Between factions? It was an inevitable disaster no doubt, to comprise of nothing but half of the room yelling at the others. The autumns in the room would be the only ones focused on the task at hand, rather than the summer’s worried about the winters, and the springs of course jumping up and down like it’s their first christmas. He clenched his teeth at the thought, madness.

Utter madness. But, with a calm breath, he adjusted the tie at his neck before leaving his office, he was a man of elegance and compromise, he’d get that whole room to fall under his authority. Man were nothing but sheep after all, he who held a solution, held power, dominance. Control. Music to his ears. Behind him, the large muscle toned man in a perfectly tailored suit followed. A bodyguard always set the image of an important person, it was all about first impression. Not too long after, the building of the faction's meeting was standing before him, and he didn't hesitate to walk inside like the elegant ideal he was.

MISHA.
It was a tradition for Misha's older sister, Anya, to wake him up in the early morning screaming, usually ordering him around or scolding him about sleeping in, but he didn't expect her to tell him to leave. Dear, sweet... annoying Annushka crouched before his bed, violently shaking his shoulders, her face a bright red and her eyes puffy. "You promised," she wailed, "You promised!" There was battering at the front door, followed by the demand to, "Open up!" Misha took note of the urgency of his current predicament, scurrying from out his bed, and Anya, who looked about ready to hit him, shoved a loaded backpack into his arms instead. She dragged him over to the third-story window, thrust it open, and barked, "Go!"

Now, he stalked through the brush in a bright yellow raincoat and pajama pants, his center of mass low and his rubber boots deliberately avoiding the fallen branches and leaves. He knew these woods like the back of his own glove, so one could imagine his surprise just a few days prior at having found four kids unlike himself in the house he and his sister used to squat at. It had been a long list of coincidences that led up to them all meeting, but fate or otherwise, the idea of forbidden friendship, and especially of new people and seasons to scrutinize, excited him. Misha couldn't help but babble the entire time, though he'd prefer to say it was a calculated attempt at gauging their responses.

Yet, at this point, he just hoped it was all worth it. He'd have to put a lot of effort into running away from the quote-unquote Man, and the thought that his sister might be punished for his indiscretion, which was simply talking to people, made his stomach churn. He knew what happened to those who acted out firsthand. Anya didn't deserve that. Nobody did.

Misha paused at the front of the old home, his sight glued on the door handle coated in frost. He hadn't been sure anyone else would make it, but now, he was certain at least one of the Freezer Burns was inside. His glove slapped against his cheek, checking his mask, and when he gathered up the courage, he pushed the door open. Misha glanced around, taking a quick headcount: Frost Giant was up against the couch, Ice Queen leaned up against a frostbitten wall, and Spring Boy sat on a plastic chair, right next to a cat... He wasn't entirely sure where the cat came from, but he wouldn't mind having a pet. It seemed like they were just missing Treehugger No. 2.

That aside, he waved at the group eagerly, the corners of his eyes crinkling. "Hi!"

Prince of the Flame

Roscoe walked into the building and sat down at the long brow table he looked across the room at the spring girl. “Why are you so happy. We have to track down a group of kids our age and kill them. This isn’t a game.” It seemed like fire burned in his eyes and it very well might have as the temperature rised in the room. He was going to hate working with a winter the most. Those winters probably had to be forced into this. They barely help out anyone even their own kind. Or at least that’s what he was taught. He felt the glare of another person in the room. He turned His head and saw that it was a fall. “Your the fall I have to work with?” Roscoe asked spite clear in his voice. It seemed like he hated everyone when it was really he didn’t trust anyone. It seems similar but it’s not. He eyed the guy up and down staring at his tattoos. This guy means business.

...

Prince of the Jungle

Jayden sighs as the girl who gave him the creeps arrived. Then the fall who seemed too eager. He looked at him “We’re just waiting on the the other girl. Alright I want to get one thing straight. I feel like we need to get to know each other. If we are going to run we need to know who we’re running with. My name is Jayden. Some people call me the Prince of the Jungle and other things. I don’t like that one much. So just call me Jayden or Jay. Please introduce yourselves.” Jayden looks at the girl with the cold dead eyes wondering what exactly her name is. He examined each and everyone of them with his eyes. They all seemed fairly fit so nobody would slow them down. That’s good he thought. He turned to the cat who to everyone else in the room purred loudly. To Jayden she spoke. “The other girl should be here soon.” Jayden relayed this message to the others. It seems like the cat read his mind. “She’s fine dont worry. I’m sure your all gonna make it out alive.” Jayden smiled and relaxed.

Cedar

Unfortunately, to his downfall, Cedar was stuck to hunt down the children with indeed another group of children. Who would the winter be? An angsty little emo who barely spoke, he internally grimaced at the thought. How he despised those sterile pests. However his expression remained content and leveled. What had they done this for? To provide supervision? Most likely, they both looked no older than 25.

Then it dawned on him, perhaps the better of this could come a bit easier to him. With younger minds, came less experience. The wisdom he held would surely bring dependability; though obedience, he wasn’t sure. The summer might prove a bit, challenging, but he didn’t obtain the corporation's highest position for nothing.

Washing the sore thoughts from his mind, he turned his attention to the boy who had addressed him. He seemed flustered, which he didn’t doubt was the boy’s usual demeanor. With a genuine smile, the man bowed his head. “I am indeed young summer; you may call me Cedar. Forgive me for my staring, it’s been awhile since I’ve been beyond the faction walls.” He said with a small chuckle. “And to whom do I owe this pleasure?” He sweetly inquired as he looked between the two children.

Garnet

It wasn’t until the fall arrived that she realized this was a mistake. Not to mention the second ray of sunshine hadn’t even arrived yet. Maybe she was the smart one, because Garnet knew for a fact it definitely wasn’t her at the moment. Garnet could’ve been fine on her own, she knew a few places off the map, places her grandfather spoke about that were said to be a winter’s dream. If she hadn’t been busy meeting these fools, she would’ve halfway there by now, she was sure of it. Her truck with a full tank of gas, and filled with everything she needed, she would have been set.

Garnet gave a quiet scoff in dread as her dim eyes downcasted in thought, all she did was share a conversation with a few of them after going on a small walk. Then all of a sudden she was a priority for the police. She frankly didn’t mind leaving the city, especially the winters, she could do without them. She was reminded of that fact as soon as his most apprehensiveness showed face. She knew her own kind, and quite the show he was putting on. However, now that she was running away with a group….this could very much prove a lot more difficult than traveling alone. It was then that she started to wonder who would come to her funeral, seeming as if she’d already lost hope in their survival.

“Garnet…” She flatly replied. Her voice smooth, yet hard as slate. She couldn’t help it, and neither did she care to fix it. With a callous look on her face, her dull-silver colored eyes glazed over the other three individuals; and once again at the cat as if she was ready to stick a pole through its heart. The only sad thing about it was the fact that she would. “Well...this is going to be fun.”

Ivy Cortez-Suzuki
Ivy sat at the far side of the long table, a smile plastered upon her face like usual as she studied the people who sat around her at the table. Ivy didn't speak at all, the people around her were intimidating, making Ivy get slightly nervous once more. Ivy rocked in her chair, her smile hiding her anxiety while she tried to distract herself from focusing on the people around her. She jumped lightly in her seat when the other young summer spoke to her, instantly showering her in nerves. Ivy's smile cracked, it becoming more of a sly, anxious grin. She stammered over her words as she spoke up in in a hushed tone, "I-I-I'm sorry....that's just how I am. I'm usually happy...I know this isn't a game! But, doesn't mean I have to sulk and be so depressed like the rest of you. I think this is a great opportunity for everyone that is going to be a part of our little team!" Ivy's excited attitude shined once more, before she folded her arms over her chest with a small sigh, the small girl sinking into her chair.

Gosh...this group is a bummer..., Ivy thought to herself, but, what could she really expect? Ivy let her eyes rift upwards from the table, looking back around the room, taking in the presence of everybody in the room. She knew that the summer would be a tough one to crack, they were usually huge jerks, and Ivy could sense that from the boy in front of her instantly. Ivy hoped that the others in the group would see her as an asset, or somebody useful, not just an overly happy, pushover of a spring. She leaned forward, placing her elbow on the table, leaning her chin on her palm, tapping her own cheek as she was lost in thought. I just hope no one else notices me....one angry summer was enough.....this is so much to handle. She then gave a small frown, until replacing it with her signature smile. Ivy again gave herself an internal pep talk, wanting to make herself feel more comfortable in this strange atmosphere. It was similar to the one she gave herself entering the building, knowing that the most important thing for Ivy was to believe in herself. She spoke up again as the man named Cedar spoke. "I'm Ivy. Ivy Cortez-Suzuki...pleasure to meet you Cedar!"

Azuki Shimo
Azuki sighed as the recognizable autumn walked into the room, his usual demeanor shown through the way he waved excitedly. Azuki rolled his eyes, he was going to go mad dealing with all of these damned autumns and springs. His fear and doubt died down now, as he experienced a slight sense of comfort being in a house far away from his home. “Now we’re just waiting on that other girl...maybe she was already caught. Even then, staying here for too long is dangerous, if we were being smart we would leave soon....”, he muttered quietly to himself, only the people closest to him being able to hear his silent words. This was an action Azuki did a great deal, muttering his internal thoughts without noticing, his mind racing as always.

His thought process was snapped by the spring finally speaking up, breaking the unsettling aura that had filled the room. Azuki chuckled as he let his eyes fall to the floor, the spring, Jayden, wanted to have introductions and make friends like this was the first day of school. Azuki was reluctant to speak, lifting his head so his eyes could switch between the three teens he was surrounded by. Suddenly, the other winter spoke, Garnet was her name. Azuki sighed and then spoke himself, “I’m Azuki...or Azu for short.” His voice was very hushed and monotone, as if his own words were coated with ice as they went through the air. Azuki leaned forward again, making a small ball of ice in his hand, tossing it up and catching it, his form of entertainment as they waited. He couldn’t help but snort at Garnet’s comment, shaking his head while he continued to distract himself.

MISHA.
Sitting opposite him, all the way across the room, was the chillingly aloof Frost Giant, muttering to himself about whatever. If Misha had to guess, he might've said it was unimportant and probably regarding their current dilemma, but inspired by theatrics, he turned his head towards the noise, a hand cupped around his ear as if he was straining to be in the know. It wasn't until Spring Boy, now introduced as Jayden, Prince of the Jungle, and his purring cat interrupted that Misha stopped being nosey. "She's fine, don't worry. I'm sure you're all going to make it out alive."

Misha stilled, if just for a moment. That was a rather ominous way to phrase that, he thought. Perhaps he'd have to watch Princey a bit closer... But, what stuck with him, personally, was that cat. His gloved finger pointed from the feline to the boy, his eyes wide and an unspoken question clear in his expression. Was he- Was Princey talking to a cat? Could Springs actually do that? He swore that was a rumor!

At His Highness's words, Frost Giant chuckled with frigid reverb, and a scoff came from near him, from Ice Queen, who had her eyes downcast. She seemed trapped in her thoughts before she flatly and tersely responded, "Garnet..." Apparently spurred by the riveting introduction, Frost Giant spoke, too, "I'm Azuki... or Azu for short." Misha had to admit, their voices were pleasant to listen to. It wasn't animated or scratchy, like his own, but instead, cool and collected. If he had to describe it more negatively, though, he'd use words like monotone, almost heartless. He supposed that was just the nature of Winters.

Azuki, now Zuzu, created a ball of ice in his hands as if it was second nature, which it likely was, and Misha watched his game of toss intently, his head moving in sync with the ball. Garn Garn, or Stone-faced, he hadn't decided yet, mumbled in the otherwise quiet room, "Well... this is going to be fun." Zuzu let out a snort, his head shaking, but he continued playing his little game. Misha couldn't help but laugh, either, and his attention was finally and successfully drawn away from the distraction. "That's the spirit!" He cheered, his hands on his hips and an unseeable grin stretched across his face. "I'm Misha," he announced, "but my friends call me Mishka... so, call me that!" That was a lie. He didn't have friends, at least no one besides his sister, but maybe, just maybe, he would have some now.

Prince of the Flame

Roscoe listened to them speak. The falls name was Cedar fitting since he looked ancient. That was an over exaggeration but he didn’t care. The springs name is Ivy. Also a fitting name considering they’re all poison. He chuckled and stood up. “My name is Roscoe. Some people call me The Prince of the Flame. I don’t much like that nickname so stick to Roscoe or you might get scorched.” That stupid nickname reminded him of that spring boy he heard about called “The Prince of the Jungle.” He mocked in his head. That was the whole reason he didn’t like his nickname because it reminded him of that stupid spring. He sighed and turned to the Cedar. “Who else is supposed to be here?” Roscoe was getting impatient and that wasn’t good. He calmed himself down and looked out the tinted window and into the street. It happened to be on the winters side. He watched their icy faces as they walked by or even drives by. “Emo’s.” He muttered to himself.

...

Prince of the Jungle

Great, so we have each others names. Also you do know she was being sarcastic right Misha?”
He chuckled Hoping that Misha did know and was just being sarcastic back. Now we need to devise a plan to escape. It’s only a matter of time before the cops stumble upon out little house here and arrest us. So does anybody know anywhere we can hide out. Though even then we would have to stay for only a little bit. I think eventually we will have to go over the wall.” He grimaced at the thought but it had to be done. If they got caught it was game over. At least he didn’t have a fear of heights. He didn’t know if he could say that for anyone else. “Over the wall you say.” The soft purr of a voice came from the cat. “I can help with that. If you dont want to go over who says you can’t go through?” Jayden smiles and relayed the message to his friends giving the cat a pat on the head. He scratched behind its ears softly and looked at the others.“So you guys in?” For the sake of their lives he hopped they would say yes.

Carlo looked up at the sun, then at the doors to the building at the center of the square. With a sigh, he stood up, straightening his tattered coat. A man dressed in a dark red suit glanced at him over his newspaper. Carlo looked at the building pointedly and nodded once.

The man was one of the only people Carlo actually trusted, a summer by the name of Mikhail. The former soldier turned mercenary turned insurgent had been fighting beside Carlo for the better part of five years. In that time he’d become Carlo’s top lieutenant, proving himself on more occasions than Carlo could count.

Mikhail folded up his newspaper and stood up, removing a cell phone from his pocket as he walked out of the square. Carlo stuck his hands in his pockets, walking casually towards the doors to the building. There were two guards posted at the door. One held out his hand, and Carlo stopped.
“Sorry, you can’t go in. There’s a very important meeting going on right now.” the guard said. His partner stared at Carlo’s face as if trying to figure out who he was.
“Indeed.” Carlo said simply.
“Hey…” the second guard snapped his fingers, “Aren’t you-”

That was all he got out before Carlo brought both his hands up, slapping the guard on the temples, knocking him out. He quickly turned and jabbed his fingers into the other guard’s gut, causing him to double over. Carlo shoved the man down, and his head hit the pavement with a smack.

WIth both guards dispatched, Carlo pushed the doors open and walked in as if he’d been invited. Flicking his eyes across the group sitting around the table, he could put a faction to most of them, but a name to only one. Cedar Zhou, a man who Carlo knew by reputation only.
“Well, looks like I’m a bit early.” he said, his face displaying no emotion, “You haven’t even started arguing yet.”

If he wasn’t expecting such an interaction, the spring’s reply would have actually caught him off guard. Such energy, though placed in the right place, could prove much useful. Cedar nodded toward her with the same formal grin. “Indeed it is Ms. Ivy.” He replied sweetly before angling his head to peer toward the hot-tempered summer.

“Roscoe, hm, not Prince of the Flame. Noted.” He said in recognition. He didn’t know which was worse, the fact that he had to waste his weekend with a bunch of angsty youngsters, or the summer’s form of tone. It was hard to believe that all that steam fit into his tiny head. Though, besides the constant chance of an outburst, it would be easy to avert the boy’s anger elsewhere, utilize it; the boy’s power of fire could very much be his own. Cedar cleared his throat, however so the thought may be promising, he couldn’t get ahead of himself. He had to get them to trust him first anyway, then everything would slide in smoothly from there. “Now then, I guess we’ve all been acquainted. Is there anyone else we might be waiting for?” He asked as he took a small look over the room with his one good eye the color of polished hazel.

Then as if to speak of the devil, their last guest indeed showed face. Cedar exchanged a smile in greeting, before giving a chuckle. He was glad that finally, another adult arrived. “On the contrary my friend, you're just in time.” Cedar replied. “Who might you be my good sir.”

Garnet
“If we were smart, we would have just continued walking…” She replied toward the boy now known as Azuki after he muttered a comment under his frigid breath. She was referring to the first time they met, if they all had just gone about their own business, none of this would have happened. But it was far too late now, the damage had already been done. While the rest continued to disclose their names, she pried herself from the wall and strode toward the window right next to the door. Those black leather boots making a hollow thud with every step as she walked over the course wood of the shack. Above her shoes were a pair of dark navy colored jeans, huge gashes at the knees and shins. They fit snugly, not too tight, but not baggy and loose. They went along with her leather vest, unlike her jeans, they were smooth, and just about the same color of her boots, but with the slight shade of violet purple. Her clothes were dark, the opposite of her quite loud mohawk that laid on the top of her head, the exact hue of freshly fallen snow, and it seemed to be just as soft.

Within a few steps, she made her way to the window and peered through the glass, her eyes searching for any sign of introducers or perhaps the 5th person who was said to arrive. Garnet started to get the feeling that maybe, just maybe...this 5th person wasn’t coming.

After a moment, she retreated from the window and turned back once again to the rest of them. “No...I’m generally serious. Who knows what we might find beyond the city's lines?” The girl gave a shrug. “Might be, enlightening…” Though yet and still, her voice never changed, not even a pitch in difference, and her face remained unmoved as stoned gravel. It was hard to know if she was actually serious. She was glad at least one of them found her comical though, Garnet had always thought of herself a comedian after all.

Perhaps she could be of assistance with their predicament, “I don’t mind giving a ride,” She said as she nodded her head toward the large Mercedes truck parked outside. “We’d all fit,- but the cat will have to stay…” It was only then that her voice actually changed in tone, her last set of words becoming darker than usual.

Carlo was a little surprised, though he kept his face neutral. “Ordinarily I’d be disappointed that you can’t put a name to my face, but I’ve kept out of the public eye as of late.” he stepped further into the meeting hall but didn’t take a seat. “I’ve been usurped, I guess you could call it, by your quarry.” He hoped that Cedar at least would make the connection, being the only other true adult in the room.

Carlo studied the other man for a moment. He would certainly be a stimulating conversation partner. Falls were by and large levelheaded people, perhaps not swayed by impassioned speeches or displays of power, but they were often willing to hear others out. A quality that Carlo lauded, and tried to emulate.

Prince of the Flame

"Enough chit chat can we get this meeting over with? I actually have things to do unlike you senior."
He snorted almost like a bull looking at the new face. Great the Winter is here. At least he doesn't look like a damn emo. "Who are these people we are after? Do we have a deadline? I didn't join this stupid thing to be on a need to know basis. I want to know these things and if you don't tell me..." He cracked his knuckles and one of his hands burst into flames. "Things are gonna get messy for you all." His mouth curled into a smirk. This was his usual Intimidation tactic. He didn't expect it to work on anybody but the spring. His put out the flame on his fist and sat back in his chair. He eyed the winter suspiciously. He still didn't trust them. He did trust the spring considering they aren't know to betray people. The fall was old but seemed wise. Trustworthy? Definitely not.

...

Prince of the Jungle

"She can sit in my lap. We aren't leaving her behind she can help."
The fear from his voice vanished and he glared at the Garnet. He wasn't afraid anymore. When it came to animals he didn't mess around. His glare disappear. and his happy demeanor returned "Sorry about that. I'm just really passionate about animals. But yeah lets do that ride. The cad can just sit in my lap. If your allergic I can just sit in the back." He smiled and the cat purred. "Thank you Prince of the Jungle." It was clear his little nick name had traveled through the animal kingdom. He frowned at the cat. "If your going to call me that shorten it to prince." The cat nodded and licked its black fur jumping into Jaydens arms. "Okay Young Prince." Jayden smiled and stood up. He rubbed the cats belly and she purred again.

Ivy Cortez-Suzuki
Cedar’s grin was unexpected to Ivy, but it filled her with enthusiasm. He seemed older, probably having experience and wisdom that Ivy couldn’t even fathom to have. Ivy slowly let some of her vines slick between her fingers, watching as they wrapped around her right index finger. She picked her head up just to gaze between Cedar and Roscoe, both were impressive to young Ivy, the two seemed so powerful and strong-willed to her, something she wished she could be. In that moment, Ivy jumped with a small yelp as the doors opened, another intimidating aura entering the room. Cedar was the first to speak up to the man, in which the man replied quickly, with every word Ivy could feel the tension rise in the room. She swallowed fearfully, hoping the tension wouldn’t snap and the room would devolve into arguments.

The summer across from her then erupted with his usual angry tone, distracting Ivy’s focus for a split second. She watched as the summer made his hand light on fire, clearly threatening the other three. His threat worked, Ivy could feel the fear crawl in her, but she wouldn’t show that. She kept her smile, before nodding in agreement with the raging summer. Ivy had figured to learn more about their task, so she was fit to debrief them on their operation. She stood up from her chair, which didn’t make much of a difference, all four foot eleven of her was still terribly miniature compared to the rest of them. She tapped a finger on her chin as she spoke, her sleeve falling down, revealing her vine-like markings on her arm, that signature smile being etched into her face. “Apparently, five teens have been meeting in secret! Two winters, two springs, and a fall! They have all been exiled from their respective factions, but now the factions have deemed fit that they should be killed...”, her voice dimmed down at the mentioning of killing another person, but she instantly sparked back to her usual attitude. “That’s why we are all here! Our goal is to track down those five! We’re a team!!! From what I know exactly, both the winters were spotted running off...one in a vehicle, the other leaving a trail of frozen people behind him. The spring escaped arrest and ran off as well, but there is no intel on the other spring. We can only assume the fall got away, so now they are all on the run.” Even though Ivy was overly cheery, the girl wasn’t dumb, and she had no issue with speaking up now. “So...what’s our plan guys?! How should we go after these little delinquents?” Ivy giggled, pausing to look around the meeting room at the group with excitement and eagerness.

Azuki Shimo
Misha...Garnet...Jayden. The names of Azuki’s new “friends”. All of them were extremely different, but somehow fate sought for them to be together in this instant. Azuki was already analyzing each of them, trying to piece together ideas about their personalities and attributes. Garnet didn’t seem as cold as she came off, something about her had some warmness. To Azuki, Garnet was strong, her frost was clearly more than capable....she was freezing the wall just by sitting upon it. Jayden was light-hearted, wanting to be cool and collected with everyone in the group, but he still had a sense of urgency, something Azuki appreciated about Jay. Misha...was Misha. The boy was quite happy, even in the dilemma that they faced. He was care-free, but Azuki could sense that curiousness Misha had, one that could be beneficial or detrimental. Azuki sighed with a sense of relief, this group had their perks.

Azuki glanced over as Garnet spoke again, a comical response that amused Azuki. Even though he wouldn’t smile, Azuki admired the small sense of humor that Garnet potentially had, a sort of sarcastic comedy that gave her some personality. Garnet was different from most winters, even different from Azuki...she had a more distinct individualism, and a bit more emotion. This intrigue caused Azuki to follow her movements with his bright icy blue eyes, even though they looked to be emotionless. He listened to Jayden’s words carefully, shaking his head. “It would be hard for them to find us here...I’m not worried about some cops...ask the ones who tried to stop me.” As Garnet turned to face them, Azuki pondered his response. His voice was still smooth and quiet, a calming atmosphere emerging from him. “Whatever is beyond the wall is better than being in those despicable excuses for societies..I figure that plan is better than anything.” Azuki took his own opportunity to stand, stretching out his arms and cracking his neck, liking the idea so far. “Don’t be so hasty...we need to think of this with a grave attitude. One wrong misstep, and somebody dies. Going to the wall is fine, but we must think of what path will keep us away from confrontations...we don’t want to drive head on into someone hellbent on killing us.” Azuki held back a smile then, as he glanced to Jayden. “I do agree with Garnet...you can keep your damned creature, but if it touches me, you’ll be stuck with a pet popsicle.” With that, he sat back down, awaiting the responses of his peers, but so far, Azuki had high hopes for their escape.

MISHA.
At Princey's remark, Misha's head lolled to convey false confusion. He appeared adamant to answer before Ice Queen, now peering out the window beside him, responded in his steed, "No... I'm generally serious. Who knows what we might find beyond the city lines? Might be, enlightening..."

His Royal Highness began to scheme with the others, and Misha, a gloved hand underneath his chin mimicking the ubiquitous thinker's pose, rummaged through his mind for any conceivable additions he could shout out. Correction: he looked like he was thinking. There were three other people in the group at present, all seemingly capable and intelligent, so unless he could come up with some brilliant, never-before-seen idea, he could just turn his brain off. Misha knew his best option to both survive and do the least amount of work possible was to follow the group, and that's exactly what he planned on doing. "So, you guys in?" Uh oh, he zoned out for too long.

"I don't mind giving a ride," Garn Garn began, nodding towards the truck parked outside. "We'd all fit, but the cat will have to stay..." Her tone got bitter towards the end, he noticed. He supposed she didn't like cats, then. Misha peeked over at the Spring, seeking out some sort of reaction, and found a harsh glare on his face. With newfound gall, Princey insisted, "She can sit in my lap. We aren't leaving her behind. She can help." Misha's sight darted between the two, a grin hidden beneath his mask. Fight, fight, fight! He wanted to egg on, desperate for the entertainment and drama. All he was missing was the popcorn, but Princey's normal, lighthearted demeanor soon returned. Darn. "Sorry about that. I'm just really passionate about animals. But yeah, let's do that ride. The cat can just sit in my lap. If you're allergic, I can just sit in the back." The cat purred, again, and Princey spoke to it, like... literally. Misha would have to bother the Spring for more information about his abilities later, maybe in the car. Could he talk to bugs, too? That'd be cool!

Zuzu broke his silence, his voice smooth yet muted, "It would be hard for them to find us here... I'm not worried about some cops... ask the ones who tried to stop me." Now that's a fight he would've liked to see! The Frost Giant continued with his appeal before standing from the couch to stretch out, his neck cracking with a hideous snap. Misha's gloves cradled the sides of his mask in a horrified expression. This boy needed a chiropractor, stat! For just a moment, after mentioning the people who wanted the four of them dead, Zuzu appeared to be holding back a smile. Alrighty, he thought, perhaps a chiropractor and a therapist. Zuzu sat back down and finished, "I do agree with Garnet... you can keep your damned creature, but if it touches me, you'll be stuck with a pet popsicle."

Misha was beginning to assume that cat-hatred was just one of many perks of being a Winter, as well as ice catch. "I, for one, think the cat's a great addition," he interjected with a thumbs up. "Does she have a name? If she doesn't, can I name her? Pretty please?" He had asked, attempting his best puppy dog eyes, but really, he already planned on calling the animal by whatever nickname was fresh in his brain. Misha was thinking "CATastrophe" or something. Maybe MeWow? He'd work on it.

"Oh!" He exclaimed, suddenly out of his stupor. Misha raised his hand high, declaring, "And, if we do take Garn Garn's truck, I call shotgun!"

Garnet
"One small misshap while we're creating distance between us and the city is much better than sitting here like sheep, awaiting the full moon. We know they're after us...." Another slight change came from her, this time her brows furrowed just a bit, emphasizing her point. "There's no reason we should be standing still..." Despite her coming off already as aggravated, now was the time she was actually starting to feel annoyed. Seconds that go by, are seconds they could be using, this was a waste of time.

Following Azuki's next set of words, she replied with. "Your right, we can think of a plan, and we should..- on the road. I already have essentials in there," she explained, seeing as her car was where she lived for the last few days, "The spring, she's dead. End of story, good riddance, less people to eat my food." With every sentence that was said, her tone only became more bitter. Anger? No, that was rare, annoyed? Incredibly. Though it helped to see that Azuki agreed with her idea of the cat NOT coming along.

“Sure Jayden, I don’t mind…-” Garnet replied as she flexed her hand right in front of her, almost as if to assess it like a play toy. “...-If the little furball doesn’t mine being frozen and thrown in the trunk …” With that, ice abruptly coated her whole arm; the color of her skin quickly going from dark brown, to crystal blue. "I’m not getting stray cat fur all over my seats. So yes...let’s say I do have an allergy..” By then, her hand had quickly regressed to its natural state, and she once again leaned her back against the wall with her arms crossed over her chest. Any other animal, any other animal, and she might have let it slide, but cats. No, her grandfather would scold her in the afterlife for doing such a thing.

His sudden change in tone didn’t move her, she’s been threatened before, her life even more times than she had fingers. “I mean, I value symbiosis as the next nerd, you can keep your cat, Princy; I can always just leave you...” Every soulless word that came out her mouth, she stood by. If given the opportunity, she would jump in the driver’s seat and drive off without even looking back. That’s how little she cared.

Garnet wasn't found of the dull-brained fall to begin with. And his interjection to keep the feline didn't help his case. Though the only thing she did in response was give a small huff through her nose. A silent disagreement. This conversation was becoming pointless, she owned the vehicle, they had no obligation to provide "standards." Garnet lifted a hand to rub her temples, "What part of, "the cat is staying" do you not under-......"

"Did he just..."

What the hell did he just call her? Her attention snapped toward Misha like a bird of prey. "-...what did you call me." For a second, the frostbite upon the wall behind her spread at least two feet from where she was in an instant. Garnet couldn't believe the audacity of this kid. She gave an expression that only foreshadowed grave danger. "I-....'ve never had a nickname before.." she faintly said as her grey coated eyes slowly turned into a bewildered gaze. As if a child was seeing fresh snowfall for the first time. On the outside, she had returned to her nuetral stone-faced demeanor. Though on the inside,- she felt something that she normally didn't feel before...Even Garnet was confused by it.

"That's funny..." She blandly remarked. "The cat's still not coming though..." She added; her bored disposition soon returning.

Cedar
“Aaah~ I see. Apologies, I can’t control everything.” A lie, he could, he made sure he could. And he did, even when he wasn’t supposed to. Everything went through him, and him only. “Though truly, if you’re looking for an argument, walk down hallway 6B. They have security down there just to keep things in line.” A low chuckle from the back of his throat followed his words, if not for the sudden mini outburst from the young summer.

Cedar didn’t have to fight himself to keep from snapping at the boy, why do so, when he could easily play along, let young Roscoe think he was running things, perhaps even show a bit of intimidation. Maybe, he didn’t want to milk it. Then soon enough, he’d fall in line, just like they all would.

With a risen brow, he made himself seem as if he’d been smacked back to the present. “Mhm, you're certainly right. Why don’t we indeed get this meeting moving along.” Cedar said before cleaning his throat. Following his words, the young spring began, he could certainly admit, that was more information than his men obtained. “Well Ms. Ivy, that Intel certainly gives us a good idea." He replied as to say job well done. "I have men already set up around the entire city, if those children return, I'll be the first to know. However, it seems to me that they might not even want to return, being that the whole town is after them. If that's the case...we might need search beyond the city...over the wall. If that's where they're going, maybe we can meet them there..."

Prince if the Flame

What is the plan? Seems like we are just bickering. I usually enjoy jobs like these but we have to kill them and they are around our age so if you would be so kind as to get on with it.”
Roscoes temper was picking up and the room seemed to heat up for a moment. He calmed himself down again and sat back. He stared at Ivy his eyes softening slightly. What’s going on? He thought to himself. What’s up with her? What’s up with Me? I don’t usually stress over jobs this much. Then again I also have never killed anybody so that might be it. He sighed heavily and rubbed his temples closing his eyes as he did. He stared at the three people he would be spending most of his time with. This isn’t going to be fun...

....

Prince of the Jungle

Touch her I dare you. Act like you have your entire life and stay out of it. And Misha thank you for asking her name is Mina.”
His eyes flashed green. He covered his mouth in shock. Where was this coming from. He was actually getting mad. And he could have swore the temperate in the room rises. Jayden struggled trying to regain his cool. He sighed and his eyes turned back onto their regular Hazel color. “I-I’m sorry, I don’t know what came over me. I’m just really protective. What do you have against animals anyways. You mention them like their some kind of unearthly creature. She’s just a dog.” The cat meows softly. “It seems your not completely you.” He wondered what that meant. He shrugged it off and walked up to a window on the far side of the kitchen where he was previously sitting. He lifted a hand forming a rock versions of himself. He watched as moss crept up the figure forming clothes for him. He stopped and walked out to the rock figure. This would be useful as a decoy. He smiled at the rock figure of him and walked back inside. “You won’t leave me. If you do ill come along any ways. What exactly can you do to stop me?” The cat purrs. "It seems my form is troubling your friends. That shouldn't be much of a problem." The cat transforms into a puppy around the same size as the cat originally was.

Ivy Cortez-Suzuki
Ivy grinned happily, Cedar's words of approval made her even more optimistic in her abilities. Ivy was methodical when she wanted to be, being someone who mastered stealth to gain intel on others. That skill could come to be useful in this operation, or at least Ivy hoped it would be. Ivy still stood, nodding in agreement with Cedar. "Great idea! I'm sure the threats of capture and execution scared off the little ones. If they were intelligent with a sense of survival, they wouldn't return here at all." Ivy was cut off by Roscoe, who seemed to become more and more impatient by the minute. That didn't waver the spirit of the green headed girl, who turned her gaze straight to Roscoe. "Well Fireman! We were trying to come up with a plan, but since you would like to interject...do you have any ideas?!" She let out another giggle, before sitting back down in her chair, humming in a low tone as she thought.

"Personally, I like Cedar's plan! Especially because he has more experience than me and you combined Roscoe! It's only common sense! They wouldn't come back here at all, they'll be easily outnumbered by the cops and others like us. So, their only choice would be to head to the wall....it's bold but it's the only chance they have! Who knows what's beyond that wall....our best bet would be to get to the wall before they can. It'll be easier to catch them in a territory we still know, instead of going on a goose hunt beyond the wall. Whatever we do though, I'm sure we'll catch them!!!" She raised both her hands in the air from nothing but pure excitement and optimism. "On the way over there, we can learn more about one another too! You three sure are interesting!" She let her arms drop from the air, letting her eyes cut between the three of them. "But, how are we going to get there...? I don't have a car.."

Azuki Shimo
Azuki sighed as he heard Misha's response...of course he would want the cat to come with. Azuki could care less if the cat tagged along or not, he just enjoying seeing how people reacted to his words. Azuki facepalmed as Misha continued....did this situation not faze him?! His attention was attracted once more as Garnet began to speak, out of the group Azuki was always excited in what she would say next, just because he knew it would cause tension. Azuki rolled his eyes as she mentioned the other spring, giving his two cents on the topic. "Oh well. If she wasn't strong enough to make it here herself, she's better off dead. We don't need weight dragging us down. Even if she's possibly alive, we don't have time to wait for some soft-heart spring." His words were cruel, as if he brushed off the girl's well being as unimportant. He would continue to say more, but he was more interested in this little dispute between Jay and Garnet. "Animals get in the damn way. Your life and survival should matter than some stupid feline."

Oh my, Misha only made this dreadful experience more humorous! His little name looked to catch the winter off guard, it possibly struck a nerve. Out of the group, Azuki couldn't help but restrain small snorts and chuckles at Misha's words. Once again the Prince spoke up, defensive of his little guard animal. He watched as the spring walked around, making a small rock decoy of himself, and if that wasn't bewildering enough, his cat turned into a dog. Azuki didn't want to look shocked by the manner, instead standing up, stuffing his hands into the pockets of his blue winter jacket. "You know...if you guys are done bickering like dim witted children and flexing your little rock statue, we should get a move on. If Misha has shotgun or whatever, I'll stay in the bed of the pickup. I rather get some air than be stuck in a car with high tensions and a.......shape-shifting animal. I'll be on watch for any cars that show up behind us too....I don't mind freezing some cars off of the road." He then gave the group a minuscule smirk, breaking the ice ball in his hands as he started to walk to the door.

MISHA.
How and exactly when the toes of his boots ended up coated in frost, Misha couldn't tell, but having been victim of one of the Ice Queen's frigid expressions, he at least knew who the culprit was. He gawked down at the formation, surveying the dendritic crystals with awe, his eyes wide and his eyebrows raised. It would've been wise for him to feel threatened or at the very least, upset about his now cold feet, but he couldn't hide the elation in his voice when he blurted out, "Wow!"

"-...what did you call me." Seemed like she wasn't a fan, huh? Misha glanced up at the Ice Queen, making note of Zuzu's chuckles from across the room, and coyly, decided to feign ignorance. "Uh, Garn Garn?" With a seemingly bewildered look, she muttered in reply, "I-...'ve never had a nickname before." Garnet's casual, bored demeanor returned, but he knew that she was still, in one way or another, processing the new term of endearment. "That's funny..." She blandly remarked, adding, "The cat's still not coming, though..."

Satisfied with the reaction, his mask hiding his smile, Misha focused his attention back on the frost, and when he finally decided to rejoin the conversation, Princey had constructed a full rock double with moss-made clothes. Impressive! "You won't leave me," His Highness maintained. "If you do, I'll come along anyway. What exactly can you do to stop me?" Misha remained hopeful for just one small, teensy-weensy fight, but alas, it never came to be. Princey apologized, and the cat, Mina, who was apparently not a cat but a dog instead, transformed, and-- wait, what? Was he the only one without cool powers he could show off at the ready? What the heck. At the very least, he had a new nickname for the cat: Matryoshka! He'd get a kick out of it, at least.

Zuzu stood again, his hands shoved into the pockets of his puffy jacket. "You know...if you guys are done bickering like dimwitted children and flexing your little rock statue, we should get a move on." Misha had to stifle his laughter, his gloves covering his mask to help muffle the noise. This group would be fun! "If Misha has shotgun or whatever, I'll stay in the bed of the pickup. I rather get some air than be stuck in a car with high tensions and a.......shape-shifting animal. I'll be on watch for any cars that show up behind us too...I don't mind freezing some cars off of the road." The Frost Giant gave a small smirk, something Misha didn't think Winters were capable of, crushed the ball of ice in his hand, and trekked towards the door. Were these three, now four because of the cat-dog, always this cool? Did they just wake up like this? He was astounded, honestly.

"Zuzu!" He dramatically cried out. Misha waved his arms around in exaggerated dismay and followed the said boy, continuing, "It's Mishka, Mishka! We're friends now, remember?"

The nickname was a bit Ludacris so to say, but she couldn’t help but feel... eager? Excited? Is that what she was? She didn’t know. The closest thing she had to a friend was her grandfather, though she got nothing but lectures and boring stories from him all day. This was different, she had people who were actually going to help her escape, for their own benefit of course, but they’d be a team. This would be such an adventure, she couldn’t wait. Nonetheless, the only factor that showed such exuberance was-...nevermind, there was none, she looked the same. It didn’t matter, she was in the greatest mood at the moment.

“Jayden...I think people will notice that your little decoy has a, moss, sweatshirt...in the light of the day…” She was going nowhere with this kid, it was like he WANTED her to freeze him to the couch. What could she do to stop him, oh boy, he didn't want to ask that question. Garnet put a finger to her lips, playing on the gesture of thought as she then replied. "I don't know...many-many things. Though the simple solution...I could just...send a single current of frost through your bloodstream...that way you everso slowly...freeze from the inside-out. A very slow and...honestly quite painful process." Garnet explained while giving the now dog creature sitting on the window and curious glance. She guessed seasons weren't the only beings with powers. Those cold grey eyes then looked back up to him, she'd be lying if she said she was joking. "The best part? You can only stop it by drinking boiling water..." A shrug then came from her. "You asked..."

The other winter was indeed right, bickering wouldn't get them anywhere, they had no time. Other things were more important than worrying about some stupid animal. Garnet let an annoyed sigh, frost bitten air exhausting from her mouth as she did so. "It stays in the back..." She said as she followed Misha and Azuki outside after pushing over the door. Ice appearing on the door where she touched it.

Despite the setback from Mr.animal kingdom, her mood didn't falter. This was going to be great, perhaps she could look for that "winter's paradise" if it was even real. But there was only one way to find out. "Alright ladies..." She said in her usual tone as she pulled her keys from her pocket. "Let's wheel out of here..." With that, she unlocked the Mercedes and started it.

Azuki Shimo
Azuki raised an eyebrow at the ridiculous nickname Misha gave him. He swore that the boy called him, "Zuzu". Azuki sighed as he walked out, the boy yelling about the correct pronunciation of his name. Although the thought of making friends didn't sit too well in Azuki, Misha wasn't as bad as Azuki believed him to be. Azuki looked around at the forest before turning and nodding at Misha. "My fault then Mishka. I'm not the best at foreign names." Azuki then let out a small chuckle, one only Misha could hear, before strolling over to Garnet's car. Azuki took a step back and whistled, the car was pretty nice. Azuki would love to have a car like this, but sadly he didn't have a license, and in reality he would get around by gliding on his ice. "Garnet, I must say, this is quite the vehicle. It looks like a miniature tank. Impressive."

Azuki climbed up into the back of the Mercedes, sitting down facing the area behind the car. He took a deep breath and exhaled, the air outside felt much better than that stuffy, broken down excuse for a house. Even while the car started and the others were set to get in, Azuki didn't remove his eyes from the trees surrounding them, being alert at any moment to fight. Azuki even took his hands out his pockets, awaiting the moment when someone would be brave enough to attack them. He zoned out, his mind focusing on listening for any change in noise. The same few sounds remained, birds chirping, a deer crunching the ground at its feet, and his own icy breath. Azuki finally relaxed for a second, his shoulders loosening as they were just tensed up.

"If anyone does come after us, I say we throw the cat-dog at them....or Mishka!" He yelled out, whatever sense of humor he did have showing in those moments, as he let out a small laugh. Azuki knew Mishka would probably take the little joke and laugh with it, Jay however might get defensive of his pet again...either way, Azuki didn't care. He was going to need entertainment on this little trip, so he pointed a finger upward, blasting a beehive with ice, watching it freeze over, knowing if the spring saw that, he would probably throw a fit. "So. What do you all think is on the other side of the wall?" Azuki questioned, his own mind being curious about what was ahead of them, nobody knowing for sure what could be over that wall.

Prince of the Jungle

Great those powers will be useful when we come across out actual enemies. And our right.”
Jayden smiled brightly walking over to the alone statue and tapping its shoulder. The rock statue falls apart. He makes a dirt statue as a base and he watches as a few animals decorate it with various flowers and other Natural Resources. The mix of flowers and mushrooms and other various resources makes it smell horrible but it looks some what human. Mina barks. "Good Job. That could actually pass as a human." Jayden thanks her and follows Gar Gar to the truck with Mina in toe. He places her in the back. Using some clay he hardens it around Mina effectively strapping her to the trucks metal. He then hops into the back seat of the truck. He lays back. "So how did they wake you guys up? I was wrapped by my police. I heard that winter police will freeze your door then shatter it. Is it true?" He honestly wanted to know weather it was true or not so he directed the question towards Garnet. He wasn't planing on calling her that. Maybe....He thought for a moment. GG because if you meet her its game over. He shrugged, he would have to workshop that one.

He looked out the window. He saw the massive wall that used to protect him and his family. Now if he goes inside those city limits he wont be coming out. If only he had heeded his fathers warning. "Don't go outside the city limits." it would have been so simple. Stay home complete your homework and play with the animals. But of course that not wasn't what life had in store for him. Now hes 6 feet deep and some plot to destroy him and hid "Friends" He rubbed his temples. I'm such an idiot. Now im stuck with Ice Queen, A Emo winter boy and an over excited Fall. Well he actually kinda liked the fall he didn't do anything stupid besides decide to come here basically ruining any chance of a normal life he could have had. He could have grown up to change the world considering they are supposed to be super smart. Oh well that could have been said for anyone of them in this misfit group. Or maybe it still can be said. His thoughts trailed off. as he head Zuzu speak. "I damn well might be a good idea. Who know she might be able to turn into a lion." He chuckled and glanced at the back window looking at Mina. "I don't know. I want to see thought."
