Please note, that with the exception of The Ascended Awuak, all other nations do allow some degree of migration and species often inhabit planets not their own.

1. The Regency of Man

Technocracy, Human

The first men in space, the ones who hold control over the barren wastes of Earth, where humanity was first birthed, these people are a proud race, placing technology and adventure first, and going to any lengths to do so, but of course, in space, safety comes at a risk - privacy, something the people have well understood and accept as part of their everyday lives.

2. The Tervius Federation

Individualist Anarchists, Human

Some fought till their last breath, some were dragged into it, but one thing is clear - conflict and violence has always been what has defined the people living under The Tervius Federation. Unhappy with the inefficacy of democracy, these individualists have taken power into their own hands with a simple rule in place - the strongest wins.

3. Flitvar Alliance of Suns

Indirect Democracy, Avian

A curious and spirited species, the Flitvar were a people who came together in peace from the very start, and have always tried to accommodate. Keen spiritualists, their seek for planets of beauty and wonder have led to their economy weakening, throwing the empire into poverty, leaving behind desolate and hungry, but ironically spectacular looking planets. However, this does not phase the day-dreaming, constantly-wonder struck avians the least bit.

4. The Gharvee Mandate

Military Despotism, Mammals

Undoubtedly the unluckiest of all spacefaring empires, the scattered planets of the Gharvee Mandate upon reaching sentience realised they were surrounded all around by the staggeringly powerful Blophin Cartel, and since then have fought to carve out a chunk of space for themselves too. However, their years of fighting have evolved them into machines of war, a people used to sacrifice who treat blood split for the nation as the ultimate sacrifice.

5. Phevr Consciousness

Neural Network, Fungi

Often incomprehensible to others, terrifying to some, but undoubtedly mysterious to all, the Phevr Consciousness is a neural network of sentient Fungoids, each one mentally connected to each other at all times, seemingly one giant consciousness. What many don't know is that those who live on the Homeworlds, live for the Homeworlds, and nothing else. The people of the Phevr Consciousness have a very collectivist and nationalistic worldview, and tend to view others with suspicion.

6. The Hssilvir Tribes

Divine Monarchy, Reptiles

The Hssilvir, an empire born out of a series of religious crusades has managed to sway many planets in their belief of their deity, the Ancient God Nilsvaar, was one of the first in the race for an interstellar empire, and grew to quite a substantial size, until internal strife threatened to tear them apart. They were united by the Church, and have been ruled by them ever since, the people a devoted and disciplined one. Now, however, something vicious, more than we have imagined is eating away at the Hssilvir worlds.

7. Blophin Cartel

Plutocracy, Molluscoids

Undoubtedly the oldest spacefaring empire that currently exists, the vast and rotting Blophin Cartel has gone through many tumultuous eras, the current one settling on one where power now legally rests in the hands of the wealthy, the poor often discarded without a second thought. The vast expanse of their borders is not only tough to administrate, but corruption gnaws on the threads of bureaucracy, threatening an empire-wide collapse all at once, and the people are just as corrupt, knowingly bringing collapse on their heads.

8. The Ascended Awuak

Representative Republic, Avians

Nobody knows much about The Ascended Awuak, other than the fact that the only people they hate more than each other is other people. An isolationist nation, caught in a constant civil war, but held together through virtue of belonging to a common species against outside interference, they are a aloof, hostile people.
